here’s a little piece i’m making an art to, in [eng]:

ESPRIT DE CORPS - The lieutenant is stubborn. Now that I'm here, at least let me have this. I'm not leaving with nothing.

YOU - Leaning toward Kim. The end of the cigarette trembles and fails to hit the burning flame of the other.

KIM KITSURAGI - His palm slides onto your neck and grips the back of your head tightly, holding you in place.

PERCEPTION - A shiver runs through your entire body, your hair stands up.

ELECTROCHEMISTRY - You haven't felt *this* way even when you were making out with some youngster in the Paliseum. Every nerve exposed, blood pounding in your head. And it's just a cigarette, dude.

KIM KITSURAGI - Doesn't break eye contact. His brown eyes seem black in this light, only the light from the apartment glinting in his pupils and on the lenses of his glasses.

REACTION SPEED [Easy: Failure] - The lenses slightly magnify his eyes, and they now look like an overcast night sky with a sickle moon shining on it. You stare back, mesmerised. You forget to breathe.

KIM KITSURAGI - He says through gritted teeth, "Drag on." You thought there was a chuckle in his voice. He pulls his cheeks in.

Right, I have very mixed opinions about the 11th season of Futurama but the last episode’s ending was so so good. When it started glitching and Fry and Leela slowly leant in to kiss each other with that funky song playing in the background??!?! That’s new Futurama and I love it

I’ve never watched dimension 20 previously, and I have always wanted to learn more about dnd and role playing games like that — but I am watching mentopolis and nothing has made me laugh his much and gasp in like the awe of surprisingly good storytelling and intrigue as much as this for some time

whoops more thoughts about tao of rodney? time to Share Them

i just realized the parallels between tao of rodney and the shrine. in both episodes, something is altering his mind in a way that will eventually lead to his death, and in both episodes he becomes… nicer.

in tao of rodney he goes around with a gesture for everyone (a heartfelt apology to radek, the tea ceremony for teyla, healing ronon’s scars, elizabeth’s book, etc) and every time they’re shocked that rodney is being so generous and thoughtful and caring because… that’s not their rodney

and in shrine keller says that she didn’t notice the symptoms in time bc she was so taken with the new rodney mckay, bc he was so nice. he was charming and nice but this time, instead of becoming a super genius and fixing everyone’s problems, he was losing his mind. and i can’t help but wonder how hard it was for john and ronon and teyla the watch rodney die from his mind being altered again and knowing this time rodney wouldn’t even be capable of coming up with a last minute plan to save himself.
