Sign of being terminally online is letting randos ruin your day because you ship something they don't like
Sign of being terminally online is caring very hard about what others ship that you make content for it, ya know?
y'all just do you, you know?

The more I get into this A:TLA rewatch, the less happy I am with this ending of Zuko becoming the Fire Lord. Like, this kid's whole arc is about discovering himself and learning that he can be his own person, that he doesn't have to live by the expectations of his abusive family. And as I'm going through this, it leaves this sour taste in my mouth knowing that Zuko will end this show chaining himself to the apparatus of royalty in the most ultimate way he can.
Like, there's a version of this post where I could dig in with the world building on a literal level, and ask whether or not Zuko becoming king would be able to actually meaningfully change anything or even stop the war for that matter, but I can't even bring myself to care about that right now. This ending for him feels increasingly wrong on a character level. I think I hate it.

Luigi and Mario did what now
i was wondering if someone was gonna ask about this its a nice glimpse into how goddamn wild the mario rpgs are sometimes <3 but yes mario and luigi both canonically died and went to hell in super paper mario!! they get exploded by one of the main villain's minions, who is a magical jester. he also kills the other two player characters, bowser and peach. peach is the only one of the gang that goes to heaven. luigi's reaction to being told he's dead is essentially 'well, it was bound to happen eventually i suppose'
not only did super paper mario confirm the existence of heaven and hell in the mario universe, it also gave them names! heaven is called the overthere, and hell is.

Thinking about A Square being returned wrong. Mirrored. Irreversible
A Sphere fucks up, and puts him down in the wrong direction, wrong side up. It's not like he remembers, but A Square certainly does. When he wakes up- it's too late.
The third dimension never phased him, but what about something so intrinsic as your own body, flipped the wrong way? The world becoming upside-down, having to relearn to navigate the places you called home. And it's such obvious proof of the third dimension, but what if it's all in your head? No one can tell with your features being confined to a corner, you can only try to explain the distress you're going through, but if you try you'll certainly be deemed a madman.
We know his knowledge changed him, but what if it changed him physically? In a way he can never return from? He could've passed it off as the strangest dream, denied it's truth, lived the rest of his life at peace, but how do you disprove something so concrete? Would he think himself insane too, after a while?
Someone let me access a two-dimensional being i have a hypothesis that needs to be tested

A.J Pollard’s biography on Edward IV was so cringe lol (generic; minor but frustrating inaccuracies; intensely judgmental at times and oddly dismissive at others while never considering the broader context; entirely diminished and trivialized Elizabeth Woodville as both queen and wife of his main subject in the name of "defending" her; created a false dichotomy between Edward and Henry VII’s styles of ruling and lauded the latter at the former’s expense even though Henry literally followed Edward’s example for the very things Pollard was criticizing Edward for; had a downright nonsensical and thoroughly misleading conclusion about Edward’s legacy & Richard’s usurpation that was based entirely on hindsight, Pollard's own assumptions, and the complete downplaying Richard’s agency and actions to emphasize what Pollard wrongly and misleadingly claimed were Edward's so-called 'failings', etc, etc)
I wanted to buy his book on Henry V but after reading this shitshow and the synopsis of that book, im guessing it's going to be 10x worse, so...no thanks
