oh man this is the season that's entirely around christmastime.. the shots of the Rockefeller tree christ I haven't seen it in years irl bcus its such a fucking mob but it always reminds me of one year my bestie at the time had a December bday & wanted to see the tree so me him & another friend all went there after this insane pregame where I flashed someone in a truth or dare game & then after seeing the tree we were mixing drinks on a stoop & some middle aged banker guy in his suit tried going up the stairs to get into his place & we somehow recruited him into joining us in street drinking & he just came out with us lmao??? & then we went to some truly awful turtle bay club where the birthday boy got into this insane bar fight that spilled out onto the street & we all had to scramble before cops got called on us so we go back to the other friends place where the pregame had been & im in the bathroom wiping blood off his face and then he crashes on her couch & im like ok bye. & then the girls brother who was home makes an appearance and is trying to hook up w me & im like no then he follows me out into the stairs & corners me after I leave their apartment so I had to be like "I SAID NO ALREADY GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME!!!" at the top of my lungs to scare him off. then I went home & realized I had some of my friends blood on my face from the fight & posted at least 3 snapchat selfies of it like "lmao who bled on my face???" bcus I was so drunk I kept forgetting I posted them. so yeah the most iconic symbol of christmastime in nyc always takes me back to memories of one of the trashiest nights of my life.
