For the character ask game, Samirah-Al-Abbas from Magnus Chase :)

Oooooo a Magnus Chase character!!!! I like it!!

(Fair warning, it's been a While since I read those books, and have probably forgotten some things. I honestly barely remember the last book 😳 I should reread them lol)

First impression:

I dont quite remember my first impression exactly. But I think I wasnt quit sure how to feel about her? Like I was waiting for some other shoe to drop or something. Idk if I thought she might be evil (that doesnt seem right tho, because it was pretty obvious she was getting framed/made to look bad, a bit) or it could have had something to do with me thinking for a bit that she was gonna end up being Magnus' love interest

Impression now:

Best Badass Valkyrie Ever!!!! Shes so cool and I hope she has a long and happy life. I'd trust her with my life

Favorite moment:

theres probably a better moment at some other point, but the first one that came to mind was when Magnus was asking about the food in Valhalla, particularly the meat, and asked "what if I want falafel?" And shes like "..... are you serious?". Idk why it was just funny cause she has every reason to be suspicious and if he's making fun of her, but no this is something they have in common, and I think it's a moment where starts to warm up to him

Idea for a story:

I'm making this up right now as im typing, cause I havent really thought about it before. But a story about her Wedding and trying to get all her Nodric extended (found) family to attend without causing a scene or accidentally freaking out her fiance's family. I think there could be a lot of fun shenanigans, but then also the really sweet moment of her actually getting to marry the guy she's been in love with for years

Unpopular opinion:

mmmm I'm not in the fandom enough to know what would be popular or unpopular, also been a while, so I'm not sure what opinions I even have lol

Favorite relationship:

I actually really like the platonic relationship she has with Magnus, the friendly banter they have, but also the trust. Also how magnus teases her about her crush while Also trying to be a wingman for her is great

Favorite headcanon:

I think I've maybe seen a post on tumblr here that was something like: that when ever Magnus comes by to visit, she has to come up with new reasons/explanations for why he doesn't age to all her Ordinary Family, because saying, "well. Dead men dont age" wouldnt go over well lol. And the reasons just become more ridiculous than the truth

"Oh he's just a late blooming that's why he still looks 16 haha" "he's just got a baby face. Poor guy cant grow a beard to save his life, but if he did he'd totally look his proper age" "he got into an accident and his face got messed up so they did plastic surgery" "oh this is actually his younger brother" "meet Magnus' son, Magnus Junior. Just a chip off the old block" and everyone believes all of these because she's just that good
