Random ass rant but am I the only who hears that the more languages you know or speak more than one the smarter you are? I have numerous friends who only know one that tell me that I would get more jobs or whatever because I know 2, and therefore that makes me smarter than most Americans

Idk about you but I think it makes me dumber since I constantly forget words in both Spanish and English and sometimes use the wrong words and I feel dumb for it. I wanna learn a 3rd language but that’s gonna make me feel MORE dumb cause then I’ll be mixing up words with that other one

Like yes I know how to read and write in both and understand them well, but talking is a whole other matter since I jumble up my words. Also when talking to my other friends who speak English I’m always mispronouncing words and idk I just feel kinda stupid
