Thinking about the reactions Ace and Sabo would have to finding out Luffy’s in love with Sanji;; Honestly Ace being the overprotective one is probably more in character but it would be so fucking funny if Ace just catches Luffy staring at Sanji for a little too long and decides he’s going to be his little brother’s ultimate wingman. He’s COMMITTED and he’s going to sneakily create SO many romantic moments for Luffy to take advantage of. But Sabo,, Sabo turns out to be the overprotective one LMAO he sees Sanji smile softly at Luffy one (1) time and he’s like oh HELL no, not MY little brother. Ace tries to set them up, Sabo tries to…SABOtage them ;)))))

Even more hilarious is if this is happening at the same time. Luffy is oblivious but Sanji’s inwardly questioning what the hell is going on bc every time he THINKS there’s a romantic situation blossoming between them, absolute disaster strikes right after. Jamie would 100% make Roy a dating app profile sometime after the Keeley rejecting both of them thing to try to help him move on and meet people when clearly he’s refusing to get back out there organically and he’d think he’s being so helpful and generous and the best wingman ever. He’d handpick what he considers the sexiest pictures he can find and put a bunch of shit Roy would never say thinking he’s being accurate and helpful and not even taking the clear opportunity to make a joke account to embarrass him or anything when he easily could have just made fun of him and chosen the worst pictures possible instead

And then he would be SO offended when it doesn’t go well when Roy finds out about it and is not properly appreciative at all

Roy thinks it’s Jamie’s account when he starts showing Roy girls like what do you think of her and asking him way too many questions when Roy has no interest in participating and has no idea why the fuck Jamie seems incapable of swiping without trying to get Roy’s opinions first. Meanwhile, Roy’s giving one word answers at first and then increasingly trying to brush him off when he doesn’t stop and then he’s just flat out like “Choose your own dates and leave me the fuck out of it” and Jamie’s like “Nah, this is your account. You should have a say” and instead of being grateful and appreciative and thanking Jamie for being oh so generous with his time and energy, Roy just scowls at him and growls out “You did not make a fucking Tinder profile for me” and Jamie just smirks and decides now is not the right moment yet to mention that he actually made him accounts on like three different apps because he wasn’t sure which Roy would like best

Roy barks at him to delete it and Jamie’s all whiny like “Come on, I spent a lot of time on these and you haven’t even considered it. Plus, even if you’re not ready to date someone yet, you’d still be less miserable to be around if you at least found someone to shag in the meantime”

And Roy’s like “Delete it. I don’t want a fucking Tinder profile.” And Jamie looks at him confused for a moment and then seems to have an epiphany as he goes “Oh, do you want a Grindr one instead? Hold on a second” and he flips to a different app and Roy’s too busy being baffled by the fact that Grindr is already on Jamie’s phone and that he’s having to sign out of his own account to try to make one for Roy to even stop him before he’s already trying to sign up for a new account and Roy goes “That’s not what I meant. I don’t want any dating app”

And Jamie pauses his typing and turns and looks at him so skeptically and so judgily and suddenly somehow Roy is trying to fight for his life trying to defend why he’s not looking for some random stranger to date or fuck around with

Eddie is on his bed, cradling his sweetheart as he tries to work out the music in his head when he hears the front door whine open.

“Hey, Wayne!” He calls out in greeting as he stays criss cross on his bed. It’s quiet for moment but he can hear Wayne shuffling around the living room before the man himself leans himself on Eddie’s doorframe. Eddie flashes him a smile before it slowly fades at the look on his uncle’s face.

“What’s wrong?” Eddie moves the guitar off his lap onto the pillow behind him. Wayne sighs softly, moving in the room with soft steps before he sits on the bed beside Eddie.

“I need to talk to you about something,” Wayne says as he braces his hand on his knees. Eddie rests his elbows on his own knees and leans forward. “Yeah, man. What’s going on?” Wayne doesn’t say anything for a moment before he continues, “I just want you know before I tell you that we don’t have to do anything. I can tell them no, no questions asked.”

Eddie’s brows slowly started to rise as he watched his uncle stumble through before he interrupts him by placing his hand on his old man’s shoulder. “Wayne,” Eddie chuckles, “whatever it is, we’ll work it out.”

Wayne exhales noisily before he says, “your sister…well half-sister is in CPS custody.”

It was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Eddie’s heart started to race and it feels like he couldn’t breath.

“S…sister? Wayne, what?” Eddie whispers. His eyes are wide as he stared at Wayne, unable to comprehend. Wayne drags his hand down his face before rubbing the bridge of his nose.

“Apparently, that deadbeat couldn’t keep it in his pants and he has a 2 year old daughter that the mother couldn’t take care of so CPS called me while I was at work,” Wayne explains, “the poor thing has been in and out of foster care since she was born according to her social worker before they finally found my number.”

Wayne looks at Eddie before smiling softly, “we don’t have to take her, Eds. I can tell them we don’t have enough room which actually isn’t a lie,” Wayne huffs, “and they’ll place her with another foster family.”

Eddie stares past his uncle’s shoulder, unseeing for a moment. His eyes dart back to Wayne, “but…we could go get her?” He asks quietly, “like you did with me? She could get a home, Wayne. With her family.” Wayne stares at Eddie for a quick moment before a smile breaks out across his face. His hand reaches out and bring Eddie to him in a tight side hug.

“Hell, Eddie. I don’t know why I was so nervous bringing it up to you. You’re a bleeding heart just like me,” Wayne chuckles as Eddie rests his head on his shoulder. “Yeah, we can go get her. Give her a family she deserves.” Wayne cups the back of Eddie’s head. “You’re sure though, boy? She might have to share your room.”

Eddie sits back up with a shrug. “Yeah, I mean, prepare to have another metalhead running around but yeah.” Eddie snickers when Wayne groans out loudly saying, “God have mercy on this old man’s ears.” Eddie watches his uncle slap his knees before standing, his knees crackling. “Alright, I’ll make the call,” Wayne begins to walk out before turning around, “try to tidy up a little, eh?”

Eddie gives him a thumbs up as he glanced around his room not knowing where to even start. He was such a pack rat, Eddie thought to himself before his attention turned to Wayne once more because he hadn’t left the room yet. He was just rest on the doorframe, just like when he first got home. They made eye contact which caused Wayne to smile softly, “I love you, son.” Eddie felt like his heart was going to burst it felt so big, “I love you too, Wayne.” Eddie choked out, his eyes warm. Wayne patted the doorframe on his way out of the room.

This might get long so I apologise in advance but I literally woke up and this was the first thing my brain thought of so. I'm sharing!

I’m thinking about how whenever Yang went through something fucked up - something that would stop any other regular person in their tracks and it would be completely justified if it did (See: Maria), Yang has always kept going.

It’s been a part of her characterisation for so long, that she’s ‘strong enough’ to get back up and, well, keep moving forward… no matter what she has endured.

When she learned that Summer Rose wasn’t her mother, and her real mother had chosen to leave her, she carried that pain, let it motivate her, and she kept going.

When she was framed in front of the entire world for something she, and only she knows for certain she didn’t do, she kept going.

When she lost her arm, and in the same breath lost her partner who meant so much more to her than she could process - it hurt. No one would’ve blamed her if that was it for her. When her sister, who is one of the only people in the world she knows without a doubt she loves also leaves her after this tragedy, somehow, despite it all, she keeps going.

When she finally finds her mother, and watches as she once again rejects her and chooses herself. Allows her own daughter to be once again put in the line of fire instead of her… oh I’m sure, that cut deep. But she kept going.

When her partner comes back, eyes lowered and asking for forgiveness but knowing it wouldn’t be given so easily, she opens her arms, thereby letting herself be vulnerable to that type of loss again, and keeps going.

When she, alongside someone besides her sister she knows she would do anything for, is forced to kill her partners abuser and her own assailant, she picks her partner back up and she keeps going.

When the picture of what happened to her mother, Summer Rose, becomes clearer - when the story starts unravelling and she learns something no one should ever have to learn about their deceased parent… it’s almost enough to break her. But she chooses her love and trust in her sister, and keeps going.

When she saw her sister’s life in danger, she charges forward and intercepts the fatal blow, which sends her careening into the unknown. I’m sure, she wanted to keep going. To stay by her partner’s side and be there with her team for whatever came next. She didn’t get that choice. But it was okay, because it meant her sister could keep going in her stead. She was okay if this was the end.

When she opened her eyes and found herself in an unfamiliar place, she had already accepted she was dead. This was okay, I’m sure. As long as Ruby and the others didn’t also fall. She found herself armless, and still went on to fight a jabberwalker alone. Even in her presumed death, she kept going.

She wasn’t dead, it seems. And neither were her teammates, who she’d accepted she may never see again, when they show up in this strange place with the same questions she had. Together, they keep going.

But this. This threatens to break all of that. She watches, feet rooted to the ground in horror, as her baby sister chooses to leave her. Chooses to ‘not be here anymore’. And she finally stagnates.

Yang has always kept going. And the one thing that threatened her ability to do that just disappeared right in front of her. Of her own volition.

And that is the straw that breaks the camel’s back… because I don’t think she can keep going anymore.
