last year I got myself a small sewing machine so I could keep doing projects - mostly masks - despite giving back the big sewing machine to my parents...

and it is so nice to not just think of small sewing projects, but actually be able do them whenever I want to

in other news, guess who just made a slip cover to cover the tv to block out the irritating bright light it gives off when turned off?

#I'm really proud of myself #repurposed a shower curtain that's no longer in use for this project #it was previously being used as a closet 'door' because the folding doors that actually go there suck and I pulled them off #the actual doors live in the garage; I can put them back should I decide to sell the house one day #but my room is just sooooo dark so I found a lighter colored curtain to take its place - it's almost aro flag colors #so it'll go better with my room's color theme #i still liked the colors on the old curtain though so I'm glad i found a new purpose for it #original post #sewing #repurposing
