#but no he is within the group of the most important people to deku
Note
While Bakugou's death and character doesn't seem as irrelevant, I think Midoriya's decision wouldn't be as affected as most of the fandom makes it out to be and focusing so much on this takes away Midoriya's autonomy as a character. Something to consider since the war arc and that was accentuated in his solo arc (even though much of the fandom believes that the power of friendship solves everything) is the way in which Midoriya sees himself , as readers we know that Izuku isn't taken into account, what's more his motivation during the manga goes from wanting to be a hero like All Might to wanting to be strong so that no one have to worry about him, this means that while Midoriya is willing to sacrifice himself for others the opposite isn't acceptable. During the war arc he saw mentors, friends, etc. get injured and almost die, that unleashed his anger and there came a point where he was blinded so that AfoMura had a blow that Bakugou receives, now what does AFO do after this? he mocks and says that the sacrifices made were useless, especially the last one (Bakugou), this is a trigger for Midoriya because AFO treats the lives and sacrifice of people as it means nothing and the most important thing Midoriya failed again, it wasn't the strong enough, fast enough and someone sacrificed themselves for him (it's no coincidence that minutes before he was telling himself not to be the same Deku who can't do anything).
Now and the reason why I developed the above, during the final moments of the war Midoriya manages to connect with Shigaraki within OFA and manages to see not only Tenko, but Tomura himself being used and his first instinct is to crawl and yell at AFO to leave him and these actions continue much later, now you will say, what is important about this? The important thing is that all these decisions were made by Midoriya even before he knew if Bakugou was alive or not, Midoriya put aside his anger because he saw someone in pain and this was repeated throughout the arc because even feeling a grudge he wanted to understand and save Tomura.
Even now beyond Horikoshi's cheap way of giving prominence to Bakugou with "you are the person closest to Midoriya", funny that when this happens the only one close is Bakugou because the reaction would be the same with Todoroki, Uraraka, Iida or any of his friends. Again he does AFO here, he tells Midoriya to make excuses, to blame anyone but him, mocking and Midoriya falls into anger again because he sees all the injured heroes, Mirio, Tamaki , Mirko (almost without limbs and leaning on a tree), a corpse and again it's his fault because he let himself be separated from the group that corresponded to him, because again someone else pays for his mistakes and even so Mirio manages to calm him down and Midoriya asks specifically about Tomura . What's more, the central point of Midoriya's character is the way of seeing injured people and wanting to help them, whether they're heroes, villains or civilians. It's what differentiates him from Bakugou who doesn't understand Midoriya's behavior and who tried to save him even without deserving it in the first chapter just because "it looks like you needed to be saved", it's the reason why he begged both Gentle and Tomura not to get up because he didn't want to fight anymore, the reason why he gave his hand to Lady Nagant and Aoyama. Midoriya is going to save the people around him but this salvation doesn't mean redemption but the simple fact that in his eyes everyone deserves to be saved.
All of this. At the end of the day Izuku is a character that will aim to save everyone because he feels everyone deserves a second chance or not. Whether this is a positive or negative trait doesn’t matter, it’s part of Izuku’s character.

Hy squid do you have a post or know of a post that talks about oot well/shadow temple?
I mean it was possibaly used during the civil war so I was just wondering what you had to say about it
Yet another crime of the Hyrulean Royals—canonically, this time.
Tumblr media
The Shadow Temple is to Ocarina of Time what Arbiter's Grounds is to Twilight Princess; a torture prison, built to interrogate, torture, and execute enemies of the Royal Family.
According to the Hyrule Encyclopedia (which comes from Nintendo themselves), the Shadow Temple "is a place where the Sheikah, entrusted with the lives of Hyrule's royal family, have historically taken enemies of the royal family to be interrogated or worse. Because it stands as a symbol of Hyrule's dark history, it is taboo for the royal family to speak of this temple and its horrific purpose."
We can see evidence of these claims in the entrance; the dated Sheikah symbol on the door for its maker, the locking mechanism as its keeper—only someone with Din's fire could open it.
Tumblr media
Which, may I remind you, is locked behind a Great Fairy, and thereby Zelda's Lullaby.
Tumblr media
But the Shadow Temple has more than just what we see on the surface. You need the Lens of Truth to navigate it safely; there are traps around every corner, false walls and floors to disappear into. This place isn't just built for execution, it's built to catch graverobbers in the act, Indiana Jones style.
Except it isn't.
Like we just looked at, only the Hyrulean royals could possibly enter, right?
By Hylian means, yes. No Hylian could hope to enter it; you need a magic song to even find the thing. But there's a group of people a touch more advanced than that, who would have no trouble bypassing such a paltry defense.
Tumblr media
The Yiga are long-time enemies of the Sheikah and Royals both. They split off because the tapestry-era King of Hyrule gave them a choice: bury their technology and continue to serve, or be exiled and lose it anyways.
We don't know where that event places on the grand timeline, we just know that it happens 10,000 years before Breath of the Wild. Yet no conflict exists with the Sheikah in Skyward Sword, and they aren't even a factor in Minish Cap or Four Swords.
Which brings us back to Ocarina of Time.
Tumblr media
There was a civil war. Why? Over what? It's not for the Triforce, or that would have been mentioned by the Deku Tree; the war for the Triforce happens in the downfall timeline, once its existence is made known to the public.
Tumblr media
We assume it was the Gerudo that Hyrule was fighting with, because of their animosity during Ocarina of Time era. But...to be frank, that doesn't make sense. Not if we take the Deku Sprout and Hyrule Historia by their word.
The King of Hyrule unified this country.
This is the most important line of all of them. When Ocarina of Time happens, the Gerudo are separate; separate enough to have a king of their own.
Tumblr media
Ganondorf's ploy is to try to unify with Hyrule after the fact. Whatever conflict was happening in the Civil War was civil. It was domestic—it happened within Hyrule's own borders. And we know the Gorons and Zora are on good terms with the King of Hyrule, even if he locks off their domains from anyone without royal permission.
But we only ever see one Sheikah.
Tumblr media
If her clan is as proud and prestigious as she claims...then where are they?

Bakugou Katsuki - Rising
So I told someone a while ago I’d be writing an essay on Bakugou’s lines from 284, and I’m keeping true to my word. If you’re wondering which lines, well my friend, these lines;
Tumblr media
So this, to me, is one of the most emotionally packed pages of these recent chapters. For one, it shows us that Bakugou has always been watching Deku, the same as Deku has been watching him. Since they were kids, probably from the age of 4, Bakugou was able to tell Deku never thought of himself first, it was always what he could do to help and protect other people with no regard to his own safety or well-being.
“He’s always been like that.”
How would Bakugou know Deku has always been this way if he wasn’t paying attention to him? It goes beyond his bullying in Middle School, because he’s watched Deku stand up for other’s his entire life. The very first scene of the manga is Deku protecting a child from Bakugou and his group of misfits, despite being quirkless, and essentially helpless.
Tumblr media
Despite being scared, and knowing he didn’t have the strength to take on those boys, he still stood his ground and did what he could to protect the other kid. Bakugou witnessed that first hand, since he was the aggressor. He was the one Deku was protecting someone from.
There was no way Bakugou wouldn’t remember something like that.
We know he remembered how Deku extended his hand to him when he fell in the stream, even though Bakugou was fine and didn’t need any help. Deku still waded through that water and even risked possibly getting himself hurt, to reach out to Bakugou and make sure he was alright.
Tumblr media
Now, I am going to point out that the stream incident definitely happened before the scene of Deku protecting that boy since it’s evident they’re older in that scene, but it was presented first (literally the first panel of the entire manga), so it takes precedent.
Then we have the big one, which is the Sludge Villain incident, and Deku’s biggest show of self-sacrifice probably to date within the manga, since he was quirkless and would have certainly ended up dead if All Might hadn’t managed to power up. Even with the times he’s wrecked his body using OfA, he at least had some kind of fighting chance because of the power, but with the Sludge Villain, he had nothing. He was just throwing himself out there in hopes, by some miracle, he could do something to save his friend, even if it meant losing his life in the process.
Tumblr media
Another instance of Bakugou witnessing firsthand the self sacrificial nature of Deku. Throughout the manga we’re given these instances, and the next big one is Bakugou’s kidnapping. Now, he didn’t see Deku’s fight with Muscular, but he did see the aftermath, he saw that ruined body running at him full force with no care to the damage done to himself, and even before that, he saw Shoji carrying him while Deku continued to plan out their plan of rescue, like his entire body wasn’t a crumpled mess.
Tumblr media
Time and time again, Bakugou has been witness to Deku’s behavior, to this self sacrificial nature. The scene above is the first real time we see Bakugou acknowledge it. He tells Deku to stay back, he knows if he continues trying to fight looking like that, he’s going to die. I’ve seen other translations and I believe in the anime he says something to the context of “Don’t come, Deku.” Which, either way you look at it, it gives the same impression of Bakugou trying to protect Deku in that moment. Because he knew if there was an opportunity for Deku to reach, he would have fought until there was nothing left of him.
“And now that he can do so much more...”
This line is important because it is Bakugou acknowledging Deku’s current strength with OfA, but it is also his confession of worry because he knows who Deku is, and what this means for him. If Deku was reckless and willing to sacrifice himself when he was a 4 year old child with no quirk, well now that he has the strongest power essentially in existence, that means certain death. There is nothing stopping him from completely destroying himself, and we saw a brief example of that when Deku fought Muscular, though not even close to the level he was going at Shigaraki, and what Bakugou was actually getting to witness during this chapter and 285/286.
Tumblr media
I use the above image because it kind of shows how bad off Deku was, which is far worse than when he fought Muscular, let me remind you. That scene is in chapter 285, after he’s essentially destroyed both of his arms hitting Shigaraki probably upwards of 10 times with 100% OfA.
Remember, Bakugou has been watching all of this from the ground.
“Something doesn’t feel right, it makes me wanna keep him at arms length.”
Well ya know, I don’t really blame you for feeling that way, Bakugou, I wouldn’t feel right if the kid I knew my entire life was willing to die at literally every turn without thinking for a split second about himself, either. It’s a little strange, but that’s what makes Deku the unstoppable force that he is, because he has the drive to save people no matter what. Now if he could master his power and depend on other’s, it would be even better, because then maybe he wouldn’t have to kill himself trying to protect people.
But seriously, that line shows Bakugou's uncertainty about getting close to Deku, because that kind of behavior is scary. It's intimidating. To just...throw your life away for the sake of someone else, that's gotta be scary to see someone do, and Bakugou has witnessed it over and over because of his closeness to Deku.
Now for the big one.
"Back then, I ignored my own weakness...so I ended up bullying him."
There's the kicker, folks. The real development we've all been waiting for.
I do want to point out that when Bakugo was 4, he didn't realize he had weaknesses like that. He was honest to God just a bratty kid that probably thought Deku was weird for caring so much about people despite, essentially, being useless to them. Because what could Deku do? Nothing. He couldn't help anyone because he was quirkless, but he still tried, and that's what affected Bakugou so strongly.
So strongly, in fact, that he never forgot it for a single second.
From 4 years old all the way up to 16 years old. 12 years. 12 years Bakugou Katsuki was witnessing Deku's self sacrificial nature. Again and again he watched as this boy who had nothing, continued to fight for something, and then he was granted power, terrifying power, and now Bakugou is left to wonder how the fuck any of this could have happened. Because if Deku had just stayed quirkless and accepted it, maybe, just maybe, he would stop that self sacrifical bullshit. Maybe he would see himself a bit more.
But then he was given OfA, and all of that hope was gone. Now he was given a power meant to take on the greatest evils and every person before Deku had died for the cause, so why would it stop with Deku, who was already ready to get himself killed to protect someone else when he was like 14 years old?
The scenes we have of Bakugou acknowledging Deku's behavior, and acknowledging his own behavior, it's such a raw scene. It takes a lot to acknowledge you've done wrong by someone else. It takes a lot of strength to sit back and recognize those ugly parts of you, and here Bakugou is, doing just that. And he isn't doing it for some self righteous get me off, either. He's doing it because he genuinely cares about Deku's well being, and he always has.
It never came out the right way, and he sees that now, but that doesn't mean the concern wasn't there. He just didn't know the right ways to express it, but as things have gotten more serious and now Deku is truly risking his life for this cause, he's come face to face with it. He can't hide from it anymore. The more OfA develops, the more Deku is going to put himself out there, and Bakugou isn't going to sit around while he kills himself when he could just learn to ask for help.
This stretches all the way into 285 and Bakugou's sacrifice, because he saw Deku about to end up seriously hurt or worse, and he knew he couldn't let that happen. Of all the years spent endlessly tearing himself apart for other people, Bakugou knew he needed to show the other in some way he didn't have to do it like that. He didn't have to fight alone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That, and it was part of his atonement. It was a piece of his apology to Deku, to show him that he valued him, and he was willing to put his life on the line for someone, for him.
Bakugou didn't think when he rushed out to save Deku. It was instinctual, like breathing. He saw someone he cared about in danger, and his body moved on it's own. That, from the angry brat we get in chapter 1, is a beautiful showcase of perfect character development and growth. If you take into account everything I've discussed throughout this, it should be easy to realize or at least see a bit of Bakugou's perspective, and his thought process when dealing with Deku.
It never justifies any of his past behavior, but it gives us clarification, and then allows us to appreciate his thoughts and actions in 284 and 285 even more.

Do you have any thoughts on the Pro-Hero's discussion about Shigaraki and his hatred from chapter 311?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
My thoughts are this, from both Jeanist and Hawks utter cluelessness to why Dabi could possibly have turned into a villain despite Dabi just telling them why, on tv, and being next to the man who pushed him into it, and from how all three of them fail to understand how Shigaraki could have been so easily groomed into hatred reflects an unacknowledged shadow for all three of them.
In Jungian psychology the concept of the shadow exists. The Shadow is an unconscious aspect of the personality which is outside of the conscious ego. While our consciousness is mainly made out of behaviors and memories, we judge as positive, and our Shadow differentiates by holding emotions, behaviors, and memories we label as adverse or painful. In a shadow, constructive perspectives might be incorporated, but most of the parts remain camouflaged under the thumb points of low self-esteem ness, anxieties, and false beliefs. "Everyone carries a shadow," stated Jung "and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life, the blacker and denser it is. To know yourself, you must accept your dark side. To deal with others' dark hands, you must also know your dark side.
In other words, for characters like Enji and Hawks, all of their bad traits define them just as much as their good traits, to be a whole and complete person they have to recognize those bad traits instead of being in denial of them however, both of them choose to only see themselves as heroes.
Anyway, now for something completely different. Let’s talk about batman and the joker. Batman uses Jungian symbolism a lot, of all the heroes he’s the most famous for being a normal person, who dresses in a costume to fight crime specifically in shadowed alleyways, and has a rogues gallery that also consists of mostly normal people in costumes. Batman’s villains are batman. Batman plays with both the relationship between himself and his villains, and also the relatinoship between Bruce and his own Shadow, because his Shadow is part of who he is.
Tumblr media
Now the most iconic batman villain is obviously the joker, and he’s a character like All for One who most of the time is just written as a character who does evil for evil’s sake, but more serious looks at the Joker like The Killing Joke which My Hero Academia directly references make this comparison between the two of them. The famous One Bad Day speech is also, notably, an attempt for Joker to connect to batman, to try to explain himself to him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He’s not just spouting a villain speech, he’s also looking for sympathy and trying to give sympathy, because that’s just what humans do. Because deep down, both Batman and the Joker were normal people once. The connection between Batman and the Joker is that they were both normal people, but one of them became a hero, and the other one a villain, and therefore that potential exists in any normal person.
However, the heroes in MHA still don’t acknowledge their connection to the villains. Hawks and Enji did apologize yes, but what’s also important is their actions after, which is to choose to continue fighting villains as heroes.
Tumblr media
It’s been pointed out by Shoto before that what Enji really needs to do to heal his family, is act like a good father, rather than a good hero. However, when given the chance to reach out to his son, he chooses to fight it instead. There’s a reason that the public isn’t reassured by the actions of Hawks, Jeanist and Endeavor and that’s because they continue to keep playing heroes instead of acknowledging what’s wrong. I’m not saying they are good or bad people, both Hawks and Enji have bad sides of their personality that they are almost completely ignorant of. They, like any human being have the potential to be driven to villainy. That’s why Enji can’t reach out to his son, because his brains have still made the connection that he was what drove Toya to villainry.
It comes across in the casualness which Enji remarks upon what AFO did to Shigaraki and the complete lack of self awareness. Enji did the same thing, he had a child for the sake of passing on his quirk, raised that child to hate all might and want to do anything to surpass him, and he even wanted to live vicariously through the success of Toya and then Shoto so everyone would know him as Endeavor’s son. He still only cares about Toya to the extent that his dreams were once resting on him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So when Enji makes the connection to AFO, he asserts that there must be something wrong with him to do all those bad things, because he’s unaware of the resmeblance between his own deeds and AFO’s. He sees himself as a human being with reasons for his bad actions, he didn’t mean to neglect Toya, he didn’t know what to say to him, he was too guilty and hid from his guilt for so long but he doesn’t allow his enemies to have that guilt. This is a pattern that repeats with Hawks, and Jeanist as well, they can’t understand why people like Twice and Dabi would feel like they have a right to be angry at the society that mistreated them.
Jeanist’s defense is why can’t he just keep quiet about it.
Tumblr media
Twice’s last words were hating Hawks and wishing the worst for him, yet Hawks still thinks they were best friends somehow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hawks and Twice were not friends, because Hawks chose not to be his friend, and to hurt what was most precious to Twice which was all of his other friends. Enji chose not to be a father to Toya and not be a father. Enji and Hawks are neither heroes nor villains, they are not good or bad, they’re just humans and as humans they have the potential to be both.
In only seeing the hatred that Shigaraki was groomed to have they’re also fundamentally misunderstanding him. The thing is Shigaraki has reasons for his hatred, and not just because AFO forced him to feel that way. It’s not just AFO, that’s what they critically misunderstand, it’s Shigaraki’s experiences with how the society around him has neglected both him and his friends.
Tumblr media
That’s something that the heroes can never see, because Shigaraki has been assigned the role of a villain who hates society. It’s not just AFO, Shigaraki can’t be at peace with a society that is designed to reject others.
Tumblr media
That doesn’t come from his hate either, it comes from his sympathy with the victims. Just like they only see their own good traits, they can only see the villain’s bad traits. The thing is we have witnessed Shigaraki constantly been challenged on the fact that he only has empty hatred, first by Stain, then by Chisaki, and finally be Re-Destro. We also witnessed the moment he changed.
The conclusion Shigaraki comes to as the result of his arc is that while he himself doesn’t care about the people, he’s not alone anymore, he wants to give the future to the others around him.
Tumblr media
That’s why Shigaraki’s actions aren’t driven just by hatred, but also by a deeply broken sense of empathy. Not only is he a crying child himself, he’s also someone who acknowledges the feelings of others. What converted Spinner from being someone who didn’t particularly care about the goals of the league, and doubted Shigaraki in front of everyone to his most loyal follower.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s because he came to recognize that this human side of Shigaraki was there. The same way that underneath his mask, Spinner was just a pathetic NEET struggling with his own feelings of inadequacy, Shigaraki gets close to broken people, he tries to protect them, he tries to give some kind of validation to their feelings.
Shigaraki has grown from just hating all of society because it rejected him, to realizing the real reason is because it rejects everyone around him. That means while there’s hatred to his character, there’s also a very selfish and intense love that applies to a small group of people, but the potential for love is still there. Shigaraki reaches out and saves people the same way that Deku does, he tries to do all the fighting himself to protect others just like Deku, it’s just that he’s been hurt again and again and that’s twisted him to act on his worst trait. None of the heroes understand Shigaraki’s love, because they can only see his hate.
It’s not just that he’s been victimized or that he’s a crying child. Shigaraki is constantly compared to a child both in a negative sense as a man child, and a positive sense as a child pure heartedly pursuing their dream, because there is that potential within Shigarkai, to grow up, and grow into a better person if he was given the same chance to atone that characters like Hawks and Enji have already received.
Shigaraki and Deku just like batman and the joker both reflect that in perfectly normal people, there’s the chance for great good, or great evil. For Shigaraki there’s an added level of complexity, that you can still grow into a better person, after everyone has written you off as too far gone. You can still grow to love the people around you when you thought you were only capable of hating.
Enji and Hawks still have the oppurtunity to grow just like that, not as heroes, but as people.
However to truly grow as people they would have to learn to empathize with the villains, especially because they have done wrong things too, Hawks killed because he had to, Enji hurt his entire family. Defeating the villain really is not the solution, because sometimes you yourself are the villain.
In order to fully grow as people they have to learn to see themselves as people, and not heroes. That also means admitting the villains are just as human as they are. If Endeavor is someone who can become better after realizing that he made so many mistakes in the past and the only thing he can do about it is try to do better from now on, then Endeavor’s ending point should be realizing that since he was given that chance by his family, others deserve that chance too, especially his own son.  People are not villains, or heroes, Endeavor is just Enji Todoroki and Dabi is Touya Todoroki deep down no matter how they see themselves.

Peep this crack idea of mine! Okay so being a pro-hero/hero in training they gotta go through many places for eavesdropping or escaping. So Y/N is with a hero/classmate and the pair see a hole that looks like it’ll fit her. So her partner/classmate’s like “Y/N, you should go through.” And Y/N gives him a blank face and says: Now is not the time for jokes. Does my fatass look like it’ll fit through there?” She’s not wrong, sis is double cheeked up on a Thursday afternoon (even smacks her own ass to further her point). I wanna request head cannons of Hawks, Aizawa, Bakugo, and Shinsou reacting to their crush saying that to them (since theyr’re partners for the mission/task) cuz I think it’ll be hilarious 😂
this took way to long-
Tumblr media
Hawks
I feel like you guys really would make jokes about this stuff all the time
But for the most part, you guys keep it out of your jobs
This time you just couldn't help it!
You’re hero suit just go re-done and you look SO hot in it
He knew it
You knew it
Hell even the villains knew it
Both of you were mostly rescue heroes you were put in charge of getting all the entrapped people out of the rubble
That means getting into all the cracks and crannies of the fallen buildings
And more than often you were the one getting through them, not without a few comments and a look of betrayal
Anyway, you were ready for it this time
You didn't know how many people were in the building, Hawks’ feathers were a bit worn out, so you were almost going in blind
“Alright y/n, do your thing!”
“Ok ok, I know, but do you think my ass will fit through?”
As you said it you gave him a nice view of your butt and the curve of your back
He wanted to say something you could tell, he was practically sweating
Before either of you knew it, a hand was on your ass- it was oh god
It was his hand- uh oh gotta play it off
“Um, yeah it-it should be just big enough, yeah, nice and um squishy-!”
Oh thank god, you were laughing, that could have gone way way worse
Now, he just had to buck up enough courage to ask you out and he’ll be set
Tumblr media
Aizawa Shouta
You didn't realize how nice your ass looked, but he sure did
As much as he pretended to be, he wasn't immune to your stupid jokes
Being on rescue was not Shouta’s favorite job to do, but with you, it seemed less dreadful
Getting to the epicenter of the damage, it was almost all covered by debris and huge chunks of the building
There was no way he was getting in there without some help, but you?
“Go.”
There simple all good, not
You just turned to look at him, “look ‘Zawa this is important but.  Do you think my ass will fit through that?”
Uncalled for!
No, don't make him look
He isn't looking, nope, no, no
He was looking
He was totally looking, unashamed he stared at your ass
It was like you know what to say to get him completely off track.
“y/n! This is hardly the time for tasteless jokes!”
Tasteless jokes? You knew he wasn't talking about your perfectly crafted amazingly hilarious jokes
“I’m serious! I think my ass is too out of this world to get through! Look!”
Oh, he was already looking, trust him.
“Yes yes, you have a very nice ass, go in the whole and help whoever is in there”
There he said it, now leave him alone.
“Ok but I don't really believe you so when this is over you may have to take a closer look”
You were going to be the death of him.
Tumblr media
Bakugou Katsuki
Whether it was the way your costume skirt revealed the back of your thighs just perfectly
Or, it was the way you kept bending over near him
Fuck his luck, of course, you were paired up for this stupid rescue exercise
This was stupid, he won't need this literally ever, they should just let them spar, damn he wants to grope your ass until his hands are imprinted on it, he has to work on his quirk so he can be 100x better than that loser Deku
“Sukiii~-” not the stupid nickname “c’mon were up!”
No one should be that enthusiastic about something this stupid
You grabbing his arm and tugging him off wasn't helping
The task was simple enough, get into the building a rescue te stupid dummy without the building collapsing
This kind of task was not made for him, it was in his nature to be extremely destructive
You guys got in no problem, but within seconds you had been met with a blockade of fallen walls
The only hole in the debris was only big enough for you
“Extra! Go through and make a path for me!”
That came out ever so slightly wrong
“Baki! This isn't the time but do you think my ass will fit? You should know you've been looking at it all day!”
………..what…………..
He was NOT looking at your perfectly shaped soft-looking perky- shit he was looking
“What did yoU JUST SAY TO ME??!!!!!”
“Haha, Bakugou! I thought you were smarter than that, come ‘ere, feel”
His hands- and you- laughing at him- his hands- it was soft
“Stupid woman, get through the hole, we’ll talk later.”
Tumblr media
Shinsou Hitoshi
Nope, mayday mayday
This was it
In the end, no more, Hitoshi Shinsou was no more
Who even let you get a costume like that?
And what god hated him so much he had to look at you all-day
The exercise for today was to unarm a group of villains from the top of an office building
Yeah it was easy and all but-
He had to walk up 14 flights of stairs, BEHIND you (you dig)
Maintaining his three-step distance was not the best idea considering it was right in his face, and he wasn't even paying attention to anything else but how your hips swayed while you walked
Aaaaaaaaaand you stopped- you stopped?!!!!!!!!
He didn’t have time to react and by the time he realized it, face to ass
Of god face to ass
“Oh god- I’m-” “i-it’s fine shin, there's a blockade of sorts, it looks like we have to try and get through it”
Yeah ok, that made sense.
“You should try to get through it, it seems all clear on the other side, but when you get over there you have to try and open it up for me a bit.”
That sounds like he wasn’t thinking about how good your legs look.
“Toshi, I don't mean to bring this up now but, do you think my ass will fit through that hole?”
Yup, he could respectfully pass away now, there was no need
“I’ll answer that later, just go”
He set himself up.

His Biggest Regret -Bakugou Katsuki x Reader-
Word count: 2.28k
After cracking down a big mafia operation on the other side of the globe, the entire alumni’s of UA’s 1st year finally gets together. The festive situation didn’t sit right with Bakugou who felt the overwhelming longing of someone he couldn’t have anymore.
!Warning!:
Mentions of death, mentions of injury, I think that’s it?
A/n: I honestly felt sad writing this haha, I’m kind of proud of it? Editting it was a hassle tho. Anyways, hope ya’ll enjoy some Bakugou (or Bakugo however you want to spell it) angst.
Tumblr media
“Congrats Kacchan!!!” Deku playfully slaps the back of his childhood friend.
His smile was bigger than ever. Around Bakugou was his former classmates all talking away in their own little space.
It's been a long time since they all got together since their graduation. Every time anyone tried to plan anything, at least one of them couldn’t make it. But after a big takedown on a pesky Mafia group on the other side of the globe, they all agreed to take a break and celebrate.
The mastermind of the entire operation was the number 1 hero himself, Katsuki Bakugou. “Without you, I don’t think we’d be able to crack the operation.” Kirishima walked over to them with an equally bright smile.
“Tsk, of course! You extras would’ve gotten nowhere without me!!!” The group laughed together.
Some things just never change when it comes to their anger issues ridden former classmate.
“Then I shall make a toast!” Iida spoke loud enough to make sure everyone heard his voice. Everyone nodded and raised a glass. “To Bakugou, for cracking the mystery of Banana Fish.”
“And to all of us who worked together to finally end Golzine’s reign.” With that, everyone cheered and took a sip from whatever drinks they were holding.
Soon enough, endless chatter filled the entire room.
Smiles, laughter, and giggles could be heard from any point of the room. Old friends reconciling with each other. Old lovers mending their relationships. And old enemies finally apologizing.
It felt foreign to Bakugou.
Not the fact that they were all getting along. It wasn’t that.
It was the fact that everyone knew they were missing someone incredibly important.
They weren’t here right now.
He observed the private club with a keen eye. There were bottles of random drinks on almost every table, shot glasses also littered there.
His former classmates were always responsible drinkers. But today, they took shots after shots. Bottle after bottle.
Even Iida seemed to always have a different drink in his hand every time Bakugou would glance over.
He knew; it wasn’t to celebrate. It was to make sure everyone was too tipsy to say anything that would ruin the mood. It was to make sure that no one brought ‘them’ up.
Afterall, their busy schedules weren’t the only thing that stopped them from getting back together and hanging out.
They held fear in their eyes any time the thought of getting together would cross their minds. The thought of having to come face to face with their greatest failure as a hero, friend, and classmate.
Bakugou knew the feeling all too well.
When he was alone, there were plenty of things he could do to prevent his mind from wandering too far. But whenever he’d come across Deku or Shoto in missions or patrol.
If he were to strike a conversation, there’d always be a small silence that would almost always lead to them bringing up the topic of ‘them’.
“Heyyyy bakubrooo you should relax, you seem a little tense!!!” Kirishima’s words slurred.
It was close to 2 am, the party had already died down a little bit.
Some of his more responsible friends are already long gone. Leaving behind either the ones who are passed out or waiting for their ride.
“Get that shit away from me shitty hair!” He huffed and pushed the half full bottle of some random alcohol his friend tried to hand to him.
“Oh, come one number one. You should loosen up!!! You looked more angry than usual this entire time!!!” Kirishima sat down on the couch beside Bakugou with a loud thud.
“I mean, doesn’t the number one hero deserve a break every once in a while? You deserve it Bakubro. You cracked this giant case!!! Without you, that guy with the purple mohawk could’ve died.”
Kirishima laughed, reminiscing all the sleepless nights he and Bakugou would spend just doing research and trying to gain information from anywhere they could.
He took another swig from the half-emptied bottle, “I don’t deserve the number one spot dumbass.”
Bakugou muttered barely above a whisper.
Even though Kirishima was beyond wasted, the fact that his usually guarded friend suddenly opened up sobered him. “Hey, don’t be like that Bakubro. I’m sure they’d want you to be happy.”
Kirishima tried his best to comfort his friend, to no avail.
“I’m going home.” Bakugou suddenly stood up. “Don’t drive dumbass.” With that he walked to leave the club and to his car, hearing Kirishima yell his response. “Got it!!!”
When he got home, he quickly changed out of the annoyingly formal attire, back to his normal everyday attire. A black tank top and sweatpants.
Bakugou fell onto his bed with a small thud, a sigh of exhaustion left his lips. “Damn shitty hair talking about shit that shouldn’t be talked about.”
There was an unspoken rule amongst anyone who knew the alumni’s situation.
Don’t talk about them, you’ll regret it.
After tossing and turning around, Bakugou realized. He couldn’t sleep.
“Fuck.”
It wasn’t a normal sight to see the hero not being able to sleep. He was so strict about his sleeping schedules too. But his mind can’t seem to leave what Kirishima said.
“I’m sure they’d want you to be happy.”
Who does Kirishima think he was? Talking about them like that. Who knows what they’d think of him right now? He broke his promise to always protect them. To always be by their side.
His head looked to the right. A bedside cabinet made out of wood, stood. Devoid of any decor and just with a single compartment.
A single object lies within that cabinet.
His mind argued with each other, debating whether or not to open it.
“Fuck it!”
If he regretted this decision, he’d deal with that later.
Sitting up on the side of his bed he looked solemnly towards the cabinet.
A shaking hand opened the compartment.
There was a single photo frame, the photo side facing down instead of up.
Before he could back down, he took the frame and flipped it to see the photo.
The photo gleamed at him. It was a pitiful reminder.
Overwhelming sadness and anger filled him, when he looked at the picture. Anger, frustration, longingness, sadness, it all came crashing down.
Before he knew it, stray tears fell from his eyes.
The photo was the last photo he ever took together with his high school sweetheart. The love of his life. The person he promised to marry one day. It was the last photo he ever took with you before the world took you away.
Before those villains attacked UA whilst he was in his 3rd year.
It was before he lost the most important person to a villain.
~
The battlefield was a mess. It had ended but it was still a mess. Random debris scattered around. Some of his classmates and other students from other classes were injured and bloody.
Most of the league had gone with Shigaraki through Kurogiri’s portal, but there’s no telling if someone had stayed. Especially that specific villain with an invisibility quirk.
He had proven to be a rather difficult enemy because of his quirk, but realizing he was outnumbered, he hadn’t showed himself at all. No one saw him walk through Kurogiri’s portal either.
Bakugou shoved that concern to the back of his mind, he had other things to concern himself over. One of the biggest was, finding you.
He needed to apologize. The other night you and he got into a pretty big argument. All because of his anger issues and his pride.
But he couldn’t find you anywhere. Knowing your teleportation quirk.
You’d probably be helping other people around. Helping people deal with debris, transporting different things, and overall doing what you can to relieve any burdens from both the teachers and the students.
He wasn’t really focused on anything. He thought the battle was over. He just needed to find you.
He let his guard down.
He didn’t notice the invisible villain appearing once more to stab him from behind.
He didn’t notice until it was too late.
An ear-splitting scream broke the relatively quiet mood. He knew that scream.
He knew that voice.
His head snapped to the back and everything seemed to have slowed.
He remembered the panic and fear in your eyes. When he noticed the blade embedded in your heart, anger covered his senses.
Another yell resonated in the air. This time it was his own.
Bakugou’s hand went to the villain’s face and blasted them to somewhere he couldn’t even bother to care.
His arms caught your limp body from falling to the cold ground.
The world seemed to turn gray around him. The only thing he could see was your figure on his arms.
Blood pooling from your wound.
The anger that he felt just moments before was quickly replaced by fear.
“WHY DID YOU DO THAT DUMBASS?!” the people around him froze.
You tried to mutter enough energy to at least say a word. Just a single word. “Sorry.” Your voice came in stutters. Followed by a cough of blood.
He felt your body in his hands growing heavier, your hand on his cheek fell to the ground.
“DUMBASS WAKE UP!!!” he didn’t know if it was the shock of the surprise attack or the fear that made his voice crack. “WAKE UP OR I’LL NEVER COOK YOU FOOD AGAIN.”
Your eyes were wide open, but they were cold, empty, unresponsive.
He let tears flow down freely. Now clutching your body against his chest.
“No please.” He wrapped his arms around your body one arm below the stab and another from the bottom, above the stab. “Please teddy bear. I’m sorry ok? I’m sorry. This is enough payback for the shit I said to you last night. So please ok? Please wake up.”
A few of your classmates already a sobbing mess on the ground.
“Please teddy bear, the prank is over. Please… wake up…” Kirishima’s hand on his shoulder broke his trance.
He looked up at his standing friend.
Kirishima saw the sight of his usual angry, stubborn, brave friend, turn weak. Tears were already pouring from Kirishima’s eyes. But he needed to be strong.
It wasn’t his place to breakdown when his best friend had lost the only person who was brave enough of taking the challenge of calming the beast.
“I’m sorry Bakubro.” Kirishima shook his head.
That was the thing that made Bakugou finally realize, you were gone. He screamed up to the sky, cursing whatever God had decided you’d sacrifice your own life for his. He was frustrated he couldn’t protect you.
Kirishima looked around, and he saw how much his classmates cared about him.
No one dared to move or utter a sound above a stifle of cries. No one knew how to react. For the first time in UA history, a student has died in the school’s premise. And that student, was you.
Though Kirishima couldn’t see all of his classmates. He was sure they’d be equally as devastated to hear what had happened. You were such an important part in their lives. To have yours be stripped away that easily was shocking.
You were a ball of sunshine that brought joy no matter what you were feeling or where you were.
But now you lie on the ground, cold.
That night, the entire class was reminded of the hard truth of being as self-sacrificing as you were. You’d sacrifice your sleep to tutor Denki. You’d sacrifice resting your aching muscles just to make everyone’s favourite dishes for dinner.
Now, you’ve sacrificed your life for your lover’s.
~
He wiped the clear frame from dust and took a closer look at it.
You took it the morning before the argument. It was breakfast and for some reason, you were awake as early as him, for the first time in forever.
You had one of your arms around his torso, hugging him from behind. A bright smile decorated your face as you looked at the camera. Bakugou on the other hand looked to the side with a scowl on his face.
He remembered, after taking that photo. You kissed his cheek and uttered a sweet good morning before making your own breakfast. You didn’t miss the pink hue that decorated his cheeks. Your teasing giggles filled the room.
God, the things he’d give up just to hear your giggles again.
“You’ll never get hurt as long as I’m around.”
“Shut up dumbass, you won’t get hurt. I’ll protect you.”
“I won’t let anyone harm you.”
Those were just some promises he had made to himself and to you.
But now, here he was regretting the fact that his very last conversation with you was a useless back and forth of insults.
If he could turn back time and sacrifice himself, he would.
Bakugou placed the frame down and opened his phone, hoping for some sort of distraction. He wasn’t ready to completely face it yet. Though, everything online only fuelled his self-loathing
There were articles everywhere about how the number one hero Ground Zero otherwise known as Katsuki Bakugou, had saved the lives of thousands of people by cracking a giant drug market.
They all praised him. They all agreed he deserved the spot.
But did he really?
He didn’t think that such a title can be for him. Someone who broke all the promises he ever made to you.
How could he be the number one hero when the only person who was able to control him whilst loving him unconditionally died because of him.

I saw your post about the FA's translations, and I totally agree. Sometimes, when they do not translate accurately, is to make it sound better or cooler in English, but it just ends up taking away a lot from the context and characters. We know how one of the most affected character interpretations is Katsuki's, a main character, no less. And Izuku and Katsuki's relationship too, which is something super super wrong, considering is deeply intertwined with the main plot of the series, thus if someone misinterpreted their dynamic, this person would miss a bigass chunk of the message the story has.
Here is the panel you mentioned before btw
Tumblr media
I remember when I read this, only 10 or 11 chapters into the manga (?), and I was like "...I'm...pretty sure this guy didn't say that" khshsjdhs
Tumblr media
OK FIRST OF ALL LMAO HELLO MANG!! THANK YOU SO MUCH AND DW ABOUT IT I TOTALLY GET WHAT YOU MEAN !!
(this is your warning for a long post ahead!)
In any case, I still think you're very correct on this! Not to ramble a bit, but Horikoshi's particular talent in developing the plot of MHA is actually very very brilliant and there are a lot of blink-and-you'll-miss-it details that together, assemble the big picture of what MHA is.
Translations are such an integral part of being able to understand foreign media. MHA or otherwise. The simplest of details say a lot about a character and often times make or break a series because everyone knows that strong character dynamics are what carry even the shittiest of plots.
First and foremost, I want to clarify that because of the nature of fan translations and the fact that most of it is volunteer work/ written out of pure enjoyment of the manga--we shouldn't judge these fan translators too harshly (if at all) for interpreting it the way they want to. FA, as far as I can tell, is a fan-based group that works out of donations.
The first thing I wanna bring up is that when it comes to fandom and its works, there are two types: Curatorial and Transformative. Now, the transformative part is something that must be very familiar to a lot of you. Fanfiction, fanart, and most headcanons fall under Transformative Works (i.e. AO3) because they are all about transforming the canon world to fit each individual's personal preferences. Meta-analysis posts and Character Breakdowns are also classified under this.
Curatorial on the other hand are fandom interactions made with the explicit purpose of being as close to canon material as possible. This is working out the logic of quirks, for example, or memorizing as much canon content about your favorite villain as possible. These are more cold, hard undeniable facts that lend themselves to the DIRECT VISION the creator/author had while making this media. If you were to ask me my opinion on this, this would be the moment where I tell you that the Curatorial side of fandom is where fan translations should (for the most part) fall under.
What people need to know though is that oftentimes, fan translations do not.
Translating isn't and has never been a one-is-to-one process. There are hundreds of thousands of aspects in a language that make it so that it isn't perfectly translatable. Colloquialisms to sayings to dialects, to just plain-out words that don't have a proper English translation to them! Manga is made by and for a Japanese audience, so obviously in a lot of instances, there will be cultural nuances that will not be understood by anyone who hasn't immersed themselves in Japanese culture/language.
So what does this mean then for fan scanlations?
It means that a vast majority of translators teach themselves to only get the essence of the message. They take the dialogue as they understand it and translate it to something of their interpretation. When language and cultural barriers exist, translators do what they can in order to make it understandable to the general populace. This means making their own executive decisions on how they see a character speaking. In example, if they see Todoroki using very direct and impersonal Japanese--one translator might interpret it to mean that Shouto is stiff and overly formal, while another may see it as him being rude and aloof.
The problem is, translators are fans just like us.
Like with the image Mang posted above, the translator based the usage of curse words off of their understanding of Bakugou's character. The lack of foul language in the original Japanese might have made the translator think "Oh. There just aren't enough Japanese cusses for his character." And took that as an initiative to make Bakugou's lines more colorful and violent because this was working off of the image Bakugou had had at this point in canon.
But Codi! You may cry. Wasn't it proven multiple times that Bakugou prefers concise and short lines? They should've known better!
Yes. Maybe they should've known better. But tell me honestly in your first watch-through of MHA, did you perfectly understand Bakugou's character either? Did you catch the whole 'direct and no flowery language' aspect of his language when you first saw Season 2?
Most people don't. I only really understood this fact after I'd read multiple discussions of it and even double-checked the manga myself. These are the kinds of things that only become noticeable with a sharp eye and some time to scrutiny. But the fact of the matter is that when it comes to fan translations, the clout and recognition are always going to go to who can post the quickest.
Am I excusing erroneous translations? A bit, I guess. It's hard for us to go in and expect translators to catch all these errors before release when we ourselves only catch these errors like 4 months in with a hundred times more canon context than these scanlation groups did at the time of its release.
Still, there are plenty of harms that come with faulty translations.
When a translation is more divorced from the original's meaning than usual, it creates a dissonance between what is actually happening versus what the audience sees is happening. This looks like decently-written character arcs being overruled and rejected by most of the readers because of how 'jarring' and 'clumsy' it seems. By the time translators had caught on to the fact that Bakugou was more than just a ticking time bomb, we were already several steps into showing how significantly he cares for Deku.
The characters affected most by these translation errors are often those with the most subtle and well-written character arcs. A single mistake in how the source material is translated can make or break the international reception of a certain character to everyone who isn't invested enough in them to look deeper into the canon source.
It creates hiccups in plots. Things that seem out of character but really aren't. Going back to MHA in specific, the way that inaccurate translations hurt both the 'curatorial' and 'transformative' parts of the fandom is that people have begun to cite them as proof of the main cast's characterization.
Bakugou and Todoroki are undeniably some of the biggest examples of mistranslation injustices.
Katsuki, in a lot of people's minds, has yet to break out of the 'overly-aggressive rival' archetype box that people had been placing him in since Season 1. One of the most amazing aspects and biggest downfalls of Hori's writing was that at first, nearly every character fit into a very neat stereotype for Shonen Animes (Deku being the talking-no-jutsu sunshine MC, Uraraka being the overly bubbly main girl, Todoroki being the aloof and formal rival). He made the audience make assumptions about everyone's characters and then pulled the rug beneath our feet when he revealed deeper sides of them to play around within canon.
What made this part about Horikoshi's set-up so good though were the many clues we were given from the very beginning that these characters were more than what they acted like. Even from the very first chapters, for example, we learn that Katsuki (as much as he acts like a delinquent) dislikes smoking because it could get him in trouble.
That is just a single instance of MHA's use of dialogue to subtly divert our expectations of a character.
Another example is when they replaced 318's dialogue of the Second User saying that Katsuki "completes" Deku with him saying that Katsuki merely "bolsters" him. This presents a different situation, as that line was meant to reinforce the importance of those two's relationship as well as complete the character foils that MHA is partially centered around. By downplaying their developed connection, it becomes harder for the MHA manga scanlations to justify any future significance these two's words have on each other without mottling the pacing of the story.
AKA, it butchers the plot.
With every new volume, there are dozens and dozens more of these hints and bits scattered around! So many cues and subtle foreshadowing at the trajectory of everyone's character arcs--yet mistranslations or inaccurate scans make it so that we don't notice them. This is what I mean when I said that some character arcs are being done great injustices.
Until now, many people can't accept that Katsuki Bakugou cares for anyone other than himself (much less his rival and MC, Izuku Midoriya), nor can they accept that Todoroki would ever willingly work by Endeavor's side. The bottom-line then becomes that because of people missing heavy bits of characterization that become very plot-significant in the future.
When it comes to the point where people can no longer accept or fit their interpretation of the earlier manga events to what is happening in canon, the point of a translation fails completely because it has lead people to follow an entirely different story.
TL;DR - Fan scans are hard. Translating is hard. Don't get too mad at fan translations, but also maybe don't treat them as the catch-all for how characters truly operate. Thanks.
Side note: DO NOT harass FA for any of these things. FA is actually a pretty legit and okay source for scans (they've been operating since like 2014 ffs), but regardless of that they still don't deserve to get flack for their work. You can have any opinion or perspective of canon that you want, I don't care. These are just my two (more like two million tbh) cents on translations. I suggest reading takes from actual Japanese audiences tbh if you wanna know more about the source material of MHA. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"Wish I Was..." - Kirishima
Summary: Where y/n falls for Kirishima, but realizes it’s too late to confess their feelings and has to watch from the sidelines.
Warnings: Slight Angst
Word Count: 1.5k
∘₊✧───────────────────────────── ✧₊∘
As Mr. Ectoplasm left the class closing the door behind him you got the sudden urge to bang your head against the table, completely not understanding today’s math lesson. Let’s be honest though, when did you ever. With one loud bang, you slammed your forehead to the desk, your slight wince not going unnoticed by your fellow 1-A classmates.
You jolted a bit when you felt a light hand rub your back, “Y/N, are you okay there?” Peeling your head from the desk you saw Kirishima stare down at you with worry.
Visibly relaxing you replied, “Not really, I can never understand a thing that comes out of Mr. Ectoplasam’s mouth.”
Kiri chuckled lightly before reassuring you that you weren’t alone and that it’s manly to ask for help sometimes. To sweeten the deal and hopefully make you feel better, Kirishima invited you to sit with the Bakusquad at lunch. You start to feel butterflies flutter in your stomach and you accept his offer, looking forward to spending more time with him.
To be honest you’ve had a crush on Kiri for a while. You started to notice the little things about him. The way he rubs the back of his neck when he gets nervous, the small barely noticeable scar on his right eye, and how he goes out of his way to protect his friends. You’ve recently come to terms with it after he saved your ass for the thousandth time when a group of students bumped into you, causing you to take a tumble. He called out the rude students and helped you up along with the papers on the floor, offering you a kind smile that you couldn’t help but blush at.
Once receiving your lunch from Lunch Rush you brought your tray to the table seeing Denki bothering Bakugo, tick marks already visible on his face. You sat between Kirishima and Sero enjoying the fun banter within the squad. You couldn’t help but stare whenever Kirishima laughed or how his sharp teeth would peek out sometimes when he smiled. Too engrossed with admiring him you didn’t know who was on the receiving end of those smiles.
As time passed not only have your feelings deepened but your friendship with Kirishima has also grown. You learned that Kirishima went to the same middle school as Mina and she was a big part of why he was at UA. Mina helped show him that it’s okay to be afraid and what matters most is your heart’s intentions, that fear can’t stop him from being a hero. Kirishima holds so much respect for Mina, but you couldn’t help the sinking feeling starting to brew in the pit of your stomach.
You looked forward to any time you could spend with Kirishma, treasured the time you guys would walk side by side in the hallways. You were in the middle of telling Kiri a story on your way to the dorms, “Then the banana milk came flying out of his nose… Kirishima you okay?” You followed his gaze and saw him staring at Mina as she walked away from Uraraka and Asui. You nudge him, causing him to spin his head towards you bewildered, “I can go back to the dorms by myself if you want to chat with Mina.”
Kiri’s eyes widened, “Really Y/N? Are you sure?” With a final nod, he made his way to Mina trying to catch up to her. You stared for a few more seconds before sighing and heading back to your room.
You noticed more often how Kiri went out of his way to talk to Mina, help her with homework, and cheer her up when she was down. You wanted to hate Mina so badly for taking the only person to treat you right, but you couldn’t. She was such an angel, she was so bright and memorizing. Mina had her arms draped over Kirishima’s shoulders while he sat at his desk, peeking at his notes, teasing him about his messy handwriting. You couldn’t fathom hating someone that makes Kirishima so happy. Pushing your feelings aside you turned the other way focusing your attention on whatever Deku was muttering about.
Kirishima wasn’t the only one who noticed your sudden change, the teachers had spoken to you about your dropping grades. Not only have your grades suffered but your mental health took a hit. You distanced yourself from the Bakusquad as much as you could without being too suspicious. You thought if you slowly went away it wouldn’t hurt when Kirishima would inevitably ask Mina out. Whenever Kirishima brought up your weird personality change, you hid behind fake smiles and would divert the conversation back to Kirishima asking him about the latest news on Mina causing him to usually blush.
You fully supported Kirishima and Mina, how selfish would you be if you denied him happiness. He deserved all the happiness in the world, and you couldn’t do that for him. If truth be told, you encouraged him multiple times to talk to Mina about his crush on her. After the fifth time, he decided to take your advice. The next day he showed up to class with a smile on his face and Mina wrapped around his arm.
It was late on a Friday night and the common room was abandoned, giving you the perfect time to escape and relax from the stress-filled week, until the reason for your stress made its presence known. You tried to make a run for it but were quickly restrained by your elbow.
“Y/N you have to stop running away! This has been going on for far too long.”
“I have no idea what you’re talking about Kirishima.”
“Oh, I think you do! You lock yourself up in your room, never come up to hang out with the squad, you constantly look depressed, and your grades are dropping! What’s happening? Please tell me, you can trust me.”
You sigh in defeat. “Don’t worry about it Kiri, it isn’t important.”
“Lies! It’s important if it’s stopping me from hanging out with my friend! Let's be honest here, this all started a little bit before Mina and I got together!”
“What does that have to do with anything!”
“I don’t know Y/N, you tell me!”
Your head is facing down towards the ground hands balled into tight fists, chest rising up and down rapidly. “You wanna know why,” Kiri silently nods his head waiting for answers “it’s because I loved you okay!”
Kirishima’s eyes widened, he couldn’t believe the words that had come out of your mouth. It didn’t make sense, you were the one that told him to tell Mina about his feelings. Why would you do that if you liked him? He thought your weird behavior was because you were jealous. Jealous that you weren’t getting the same amount of attention that you used to.
You slowly raised your head not hearing Kiri say anything after a while. Finally, he could see the tears you’ve tried so hard to hide all this time. The number of times you’ve cried to sleep wallowing in self-pity. Kiri hated seeing anyone he cared about cry including you. When he saw the fat tears rolling down your face and the almost silent hiccups escape your mouth, his face grew solemn.
“I’m so sorry Y/N, I never wanted to hurt you. I didn’t want to hurt anybody! I’m supposed to protect people! That’s why I became a hero. What kind of hero am I if all I’m doing is hurting you!”
“This is why I didn’t want to tell you. You always put the burden on yourself, I knew you would blame yourself. You are so, so kind and selfless, Kirishima,” you hiccupped.
After a quick gulp, you continued. “So, how could I ever come in between you and someone who makes you so happy? I would rather suffer for a bit than sit there and watch your smile leave your face. You deserve so much better Kiri.”
It was a lot to process but all that was on Kiri’s mind was the need to comfort you, always putting others before himself. He ran into you pulling you into the tightest hug he could muster and whispered as a tear ran down his face. “I’m sorry Y/N I pushed you too hard and made you cry. That wasn’t very manly of me. I want you to know that you mean so much to me and I don’t want to lose you as a friend.”
“I guess you’re stuck with me,” you replied with a light-hearted laugh. “Are we good now?”
“Yeah, we’re good.” With one last glance and an awkward smile, Kiri said, “Once again I’m sorry” before walking away back to his room.
With tears still in your eyes you brought a hand up to wipe them away and whispered, “No, I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I lied to you. I still love you.” You followed Kirishima’s lead and walked back to your room missing the body that had rounded the corner after the coast was clear.

the boys but they’re idols
ft. bakugou katsuki. midoriya izuku & todoroki shouto
Note: yes, I missed prime pun opportunity to write ‘the boyz’ in the title. Anyway, I’ll be general enough to not include any real-life names and music, but I’ll get specific about other details. (Besides, if you squint real close you can see where I got my references from.) I’m thinking of a follow-up part, but we’ll see. Hope you enjoy!
* These headcanons are detailing each of the boys as a member in a hypothetical idol group, and not that they’re all in the same group.
** For context: the difference between main and lead positions is that main is the position that gets majority of the activity e.g. song, dance, rap, etc. Lead is more of a supporting role, but still important nonetheless.
Tags: idol!au, no x reader for this one, unless??, as you can see from the word length I think you’ll know who I’m partial to

BAKUGOU KATSUKI
Obviously an all-rounder. He can sing, dance, and rap, though his forte is definitely dancing.
Bakugou obviously has some mad hand-eye coordination if he can play the drums, and I haven’t even brought in his utilizing it through his quirk and fighting talent. He’s also very flexible when twisting through the air and extremely precise with his explosions
Thus, I’d say that his moves are the most on-beat and precise. He’s got very solid moves when dancing; imagine his limbs cutting the air in sharp, refined movements, and his flexibility leads him to be an overall powerful dancer.
Bakugou is a HUGE stickler for technique. Sure, he’s not above improvisation, but technique’s where he excels the most. He’s looking far ahead enough to not want to jeopardize his health by doing some dangerous moves that could potentially hurt his body, so he always takes extra care when going about them, such as taking advanced dance classes.
He works wonderfully as a center, because not only does he have this charisma that makes people unable to look away from him, his perfected balance between his fierce dancing and his emphasis on technique lead him to be a picture of refined strength, and an absolute delight to watch on stage
His facial expressions are definitely the best when he’s performing powerful songs, probably because he’s naturally angry lol. His worst concept has got to be cute, but while he dreads doing it, it’s not like he can’t pull it off. He’s an idol, dammit.
Bakugou’s that one member who wears a headband or bandanna during cutesy performances and sticks with it, because that’s the closest the stylists are ever gonna get to his hair
God forbid if he ever has curly or straight hair
He’s not against dying it though, but he still cares about the repercussions it has on his body, so he tries to refrain from dying it too often. (Which could be inevitable if his managers require him to, I know that. But I’m going to give the boys a little more leeway here to showcase their personalities.)
Anyway, a bandanna suits him just fine, and now he’s the trademark member with the bandanna haha
Some things that don’t change from canon are obviously his schedule. Boy still wakes up at the crack of dawn, probably goes for runs or do sets in the gym, make himself a healthy breakfast, then get down to work
Now I’m conflicted as to what position he would take in a group; I’m leaning towards main dancer
Then again, he IS an all-rounder, so really you could get him to do anything and he’ll be just fine
It’s not in his nature to fail, after all
He can sing, but since his voice is kind of gravelly he’s not the first choice for a main vocal. Strong lead vocal material, I’ll bet, because his voice adds a lot of color and diversity. It’s not something you’d usually hear in a song, that’s why.
He can rap, but again, his voice is gravelly and hard to hear, so I don’t think it would be too good a fit for fast-paced raps. Though, throw him one or two iconic rap lines in his natural ‘I’ll punch you in the face’ tone and you’ve got yourself an icon (and a meme) for days.
I can also see Bakugou being leader of the group, since in canon he’s actually the oldest in class 1-A. One thing though is his outward persona isn’t all that pristine; he has trouble switching gears into idol mode. As we know Bakugou doesn’t lie, regardless of circumstances, and he’s not about to start doing that just to be liked better. If any of these extras are going to be his fans, they’re going to have to recognize real talent, without all the fake smiles.
But because he knows what it could do to the group’s reputation if he came out to look like a big bad bully, he usually keeps his mouth shut during publicity events
He’s probably one of the first idols to have a not-so-sunny media persona, but fans mostly see him as this brooding, sulky kid that’s prepared to put 100% into everything he does
Which is why they still like him
Suffice to say, his fan-base is very similar to the BNHA fandom lmao
Cue all the memes on him being a jerk and everyone liking him anyway, but they know he’s fully committed to the group and wouldn’t want to do anything to risk its image
But over the years, and with the amount of events he’s been involved in, Bakugou’s learnt to let out his true personality one step at a time
He’s considering things carefully because he doesn’t want his fans to be jarred by his personality change all of a sudden, and also because he’s tired keeping up appearances
Jokes on him because the fans already know how he is and are just waiting for him to be more comfortable around the group to showcase his true feelings
And you know what? It sells!
His members also see him as some inspirational figure because his determination and commitment is truly unparalleled
And while he isn’t the easiest to get along with, they know that he’ll do anything within his abilities to push the group to greater heights
While that’s cute and all, it also means they have to suffer at the hands of Bakugou’s tough love. Tough luck
Besides being leader, I could also see him having a hand in producing as well
Remember when I said he was a stickler for technicality? Well, yeah, exactly this
If he feels something isn’t up to par he’d rather do it himself. I think he’d dabble in mixing for a bit and realize he actually has an ear for it, to which he’d then go on to producing whole songs that just awe his members and they’d be like ‘yeah let’s go with this’
And one more thing. Bakugou’s actually got an eye for fashion
Yeah, gripe all you want because all this boy ever wears in the dorms is skull shirts and black tanks but seriously, when he gets down to it, he knows what looks perfect on each member and can make little adjustments to change up a whole style
Courtesy of having designer parents lmao
Overall Bakugou is nothing if not capable. While it means he could definitely go solo at some point, he’s formed bonds with his members and knows he’s grown as a person as a result. And at this point he can only get better
In a leader position, he’s got the charisma, and is not afraid to push for changes if he thinks the status quo isn’t doing enough to ensure the members’ well-being
His weaknesses are obviously teamwork and perfectionism, but he’s been learning how to get along with others better, that it’s not all just a rat race for fame and influence, and he’s able to form some pretty lasting relationships (see: Kirishima)
Not perfectionism, though. He sees it as a strength and not for one second will he compromise. He wants nothing but the best quality, not just for himself, but for the fans

MIDORIYA IZUKU
Looks like the maknae but isn’t. That’s it, that’s the post
He has a really sweet voice so I can see him going for vocals. So imagine when he turns around, holds a mic in his hand and starts RAPPING
You got it, he’s a rapper. Look at the speed that kid goes when he’s mumbling and muttering to himself all the time
Cue Deku’s origin story where he’s mumbling to himself on the street and a talent scout hands him his business card asbfajgfsa
His enunciation is also clear, and his sweet voice makes for a very refreshing rap. That and he also writes his own rap, because if he’s going to be saying anything on that stage, he’s going to want it to mean something.
His raps are always soulful, with hard-hitting lyrics that serve to encourage and motivate anyone who hears and vibes with them.
Basically, his gap moe game is STRONG. Dude be spitting fire up there on stage but once he’s come down, he’s a timid, sweet, shy boi, with overreactions and exaggerations that just make him all the more endearing
He’s also a big fan favorite because he nails every concept well, and has a very down-to-earth personality which he doesn’t hide from the cameras
You want him to act cute and youthful? You’ve got it. You want him to go for something sexy? Um yeah, he’ll have his reservations, but he’ll still do well. You want him to be angry and powerful? The strength in his gaze has got you trembling from the pit.
He’s not just a fan favorite but also that of the staff. Seriously Deku deserves all the love in the world and in this world, he’s going to get it
He’s in the position for main rapper, but I could see him going for lead vocals as well. He’s got a sweet, clear voice that immediately tugs on anyone’s heartstrings the moment they hear it, and he’s usually given more lines in ballads. His vocal range isn’t bad, he can reach moderately high notes, but sometimes his voice undergoes strain. He’s training for that, though!
As for his dance style, Deku probably goes for freestyle! He’s got this easy-going, totally relaxed style going for him that’s full of swag (omg outdated word alert) that makes his movements very smooth. He’s also reasonably flexible, though not as flexible as Bakugou or Todoroki, so he still can pull off certain dance moves.
Unpopular opinion, but it’s Deku, not Todoroki, who looks good in EVERYTHING. Literally his stylist is squealing backstage because they can go ham on dressing him. You could put him in a gold chain and ripped jeans OR an oversized hoodie and rompers, and it’d just go. The only thing is his hair though; he’s thinking of selling it as his charm point (not his freckles!) so he’d prefer if it could stay green. He doesn’t mind if they style it different ways though
The fans would go ballistic if they saw Deku with an undercut, and chances are they’re going to get to see it
He’s definitely one for improvisation! He’s very flexible with these changes, much like how he considers his growth in canon. He’s always looking to try out new styles or moves and see if it fits for him
Besides, I also see him producing! It’s because he’s so immersed in his idol career that he’s always studying new trends on the scene and making them into formulas for the group. He’s also thinking of marketing strategies in his free time
Everyone better be afraid of businessman Deku because he’ll be stealing those bucks from right under your nose
He’s also got mean leadership skills, but I don’t see him in a leader position
Rather, he’s like the second-eldest-but-co-leader kind of guy! He assists the leader in any way he can, and always serves to inspire and motivate the younger ones to work harder together as a team
Deku’s still got that shounen-protagonist charm, even in this world
But for all his good points, Deku still worries he isn’t enough
He knows how cut-throat the industry can be, having studied it inside and out, and he doesn’t want to lag behind
Cue him getting up at odd hours of the morning to use the practice studio (without waking up the others, of course) and other instances
Whenever his members realize he’s been overworking, literally everyone turns on him
He used to be the mom figure, but the moment he’s ushered into bed, a cooling pad on his forehead and thermos at his bedside desk, and the members even station one person to be in the living room so if he tries to leave his room to practice by himself they’ll see him
Jokes on them because Deku practices in his room
He practically moves in his sleep as if trying to get the muscle memory down
Precious boy must protecc!
In sum, Deku’s a great teammate to have and a valuable asset to the team
He’s also the best of friends and is never one to let a fellow member down
Probably the first to burst into tears if the group ever disbands
With his talent and fan-base, he could definitely go solo. But more than that, he wants to cherish the time he has with his members and achieve greater milestones with them every day
Tumblr media Tumblr media
TODOROKI SHOUTO
High-key a visual. I mean, everyone wants to look like him!
Like. Everyone stops to look at him whenever he enters the room. Staff, producers, backstage crew, everyone. Even his members, sometimes.
Man’s just too pretty not to stare at
That's not to say he isn't talented, oh no. He's much like Bakugou, an all-rounder, but he's gone through rigorous training from when he was young to get there
Definitely not because of genes, no offense to Rei
As much as Enji is a major shareholder in the industry, anyone who sees Todoroki strut his stuff and still says he got in because of his father has got to be blind. Or deaf. Or plain stupid.
Sure, he had all that training courtesy of his dad. But the moment he enters as a trainee, it's all him from there and no one else.
He's a lot withdrawn at first, still is, but he's improved a lot from when he first joined. It's because of the support he's gained from both his members and fans that he's able to push himself to be the best version of himself everyday
He definitely doesn't come out and say it, but he's probably the most grateful for his fans. As in his family isn't the only lifeline left for him anymore
Todoroki has an amazing voice; while his speaking voice is low, he can reach higher notes without much difficulty. His tone is deep, somber and perfect for ballads, but the training he's undergone has made his technique immaculate. He's got excellent control, he can do runs and riffs effortlessly and he's even perfected his growl. Fans won't even see it coming
His dancing on the other hand is a lot about technique; but unlike Bakugou, Todoroki probably did classical and contemporary dance training as opposed to hip-hop or popping. Because of that, his movements are smooth and elegant, and he always carries himself with the grace of a dancer
That's not to say he cannot be an absolute beast on stage, of course. He's just more in his element when it comes to melancholic ballads, and he's had a hand in choreographing contemporary routines before
That experience and knowledge easily make him a capable choreographer for the group
After all those years of not being able to properly express himself, Todoroki learnt to let his dance tell a story in itself
He's also a fast learner, so any hip-hop techniques he easily picks up and incorporates into the routine
This makes me think he’s going to be a main dancer and a lead vocal, maybe even main vocal
I don’t see him in a leader position because while he has the charisma for it, I think he’d lack in communication, like Bakugou. They’re both a bit too used to doing things on their own that they 1) can’t trust anyone else to do it right and 2) as a result have never consulted other people about how they do things
The difference is Bakugou is a little more observant and far-thinking enough to be a leader, but it doesn’t make Todoroki any less important
If anything, he’s the mom friend, and always makes sure that the members stay in line and out of trouble
Also, for some reason, he's got exceptional charisma on stage and he doesn't even know it
Like, a sexy song comes on and then there’s Todoroki's smoldering heterochromatic gaze
Fans: omgomgomg how is he so hot what the—
Him: ??? This is my normal face tho
It's a strange feeling. One moment, he can be humping the floor and another moment he's got dimples in his cheeks from smiling. It makes him look like a totally different person, even though he's the same guy
His fans don't know why either
As much as he has a creative outlet in dance, Todoroki thinks he has no talent for songwriting or producing. He doesn't consider them his areas of expertise and if he was asked to write lyrics he'd have a hard time because he rarely expresses himself with words. He'd fret on it and eventually not get much done, so why try?
He does help out though, in offering suggestions on how to proceed, but he won't take the lead for any of these. Only dancing
That and his growing up with a businessman father leads him to also know the industry rather well, so he can offer some insights as to what image they could go for and how to market their discography
When it comes to styling, Todoroki is an absolute Mess. The things he likes and wants to wear doesn't suit him all that much, and the stylists usually have a hard time picking out clothes that really accentuate his look and figure. The myriad of colors in his hair and face lead to color clashes, but they find that red and blue are usually the go-to colors.
Did I mention that Todoroki doesn't mind dying his hair as long as they don't dye the white part? Enough said
They've done rainbow on him before!
He also doesn't cover up his scar, and over the years he's learnt to make it his charm point
It serves to make him a noticeable figure in the industry (as if his heterochromia weren’t enough) but it also makes him easily recognisable to fans
It’s not like he doesn’t like interacting with his fans, but sometimes some of them get a little too close, or ask questions that are way too personal
During those times, he’s at least got his members to relate and support him through it
The cutest thing about this man has got to be when he interacts with fans
Like, he’s pretty expressionless most of the time, but he always makes sure that his fans know that he’s extremely happy to have them here, and that he’ll continue doing the best he can for them
If you’re lucky and catch a small smile from him when you’re at a fan sign, I guess you could die peacefully
To summarize, Todoroki is a sweet bean but hardly ever shows it
When people praise his looks, he’s humble about them (though it’s more because he doesn’t know or think he’s attractive… baby just doesn’t see it)
And to top it all off, he’s a charmer on and off stage  with his quiet, sensitive nature and calm demeanor
He’s also the one that’s most likely to have a modeling career outside of his idol work
He can’t act for the life of him even though he’s got the expressions right on stage
Like Deku and Bakugou, he could always go solo, but his reason for not doing so is mainly because he’s found a new family, here with his members, and he doesn’t want to lose it
He doesn’t even mind if they don’t produce music anymore. As long as everyone sticks together and has a good time, he’s willing

"Can we talk about the BNHA OC Comeback timeline? I've been dying to talk about my theories for the BNHA OC Comeback timeline all day!"
-Me to anyone willing to listen.
Here are the ramblings of me, someone who has no restraint when it comes to coming up with crazy theories about their interests, rambling about their theories on how the BNHA OC Comeback timeline could work.
Note: this is all speculation, and if the people in charge of the AU deem it to not be canon it is not. This was just something I did for fun because I wanted to do some writing. That is why I said could happen and not should happen, because this is all just fun speculation, and none of the other fandoms I am a part of have been able to scratch that itch for me lately.
Also, I will be talking about spoilers for a majority of the anime, but mostly stuff revealed in seasons 3-5, with a little bit of stuff from seasons 1 and 2, since those are the seasons with a lot of the important details that I will be attempting to write work arounds for. I will also be using the Wiki's names for story arcs (a list of which can be found here) when referring to specific plot events.
My ramblings about my theories are under the read more:
Also, to start this off, this speculation was pretty much brought upon by this post from the official BNHA OC Comeback blog, but what is important here is the tags.
Tumblr media
I think the idea of Class 1-A and Class 1-B being third years would be a good starting point for what I want to be diving into.
First point should be a little obvious but in this timeline, Deku still inherits One for All from All Might. This is mainly because if he didn't, if someone where to write or draw an interaction between this version of class 1-A with, lets say class 1-X for this example, Deku would likely not be there, due to not having a quirk, causing the question of "who is the 20th student in class 1-A?" One for All would likely be passed down to someone else (most likely Mirio because Nighteye was going to recommend him to All Might in the first place, and if Deku is not going to inherit it, I doubt there would be anything in the way of Mirio getting One for All)
Second point I want to point out is the battle between All Might and All for One that had happened before the events of the show. I think All Might will still suffer from his injuries from the fight, and continue being the symbol of peace, even if it is killing him. BUT I think it would be best if All for One gets defeated and gets put into hiding, not initiating any of his plans or finding Tomura Shigaraki. Tomura never getting taken in by One for All would also cause the League of Villains to never form (at least not in the way we are familiar with) so we.
Third Point is, although this is speculation, and I do not know where Nomus come from, I do think, even without the league of villains, there would be some sort of lab somewhere where Nomus are being created, likely as one of the last things All for One was able to set into motion before going into hiding in the AU. (I mostly went with this because I think Nomus as a concept are really cool, and I think it would be great to have some sort of generic enemy for the 1-X and 1-Y students to have to face without the need of creating a new organization)
Fourth Point is because All for One is in hiding, so All for One can not force All Might to reveal his "injured form" (I dunno what else to call it), but I do think when All Might and Sato get engaged, he will maybe (and this is a big maybe) reveal it to the public on his own, as more of a "I'm retiring and settling down now" then a "You must keep fighting because I can not" thing, causing crime to not sky rocket, but still rise because there is no more symbol of peace, since there is still the possibility (at least in the publics mind) that All Might could come out of retirement and go back to saving people.
Alright now I begin with some of the actual stuff that actively happened in the show that Class 1-A and Class 1-B had experienced.
Alright so everything at the beginning of the anime is the same, going up until the USJ arc. This is because, as stated previously, there is no League of Villains to attack the USJ. The only thing I can think of that could possibly stay the same is the All Might vs Nomu fight, because I think Nomus as a concept are cool and that was an awesome fight. The only way for the fight to happen though is that the Nomu is let loose somewhere else, like a highly populated area, because it makes no sense for it to be at USJ without the League.
Next is the sports festival, and this would also go the same. But after that is probably the most interesting arc I leave mostly unchanged, being the Hero Killer Arc. This is because, even without a League of Villain's, there would still be people following Stain's ideologies after he is detained, so I think maybe there could be some sort of small unorganized group of people following Stain's beliefs that there are no more "true" heroes. The group of stain followers would likely be the characters that had joined the League of Villains after the Hero Killer Arc (like Dabi, Himiko Toga, and Twice). It is also unchanged in the sense that the students are interning with Pro Heroes, and that Nomus are running around, being a cool concept (can you tell I like Nomus? I just think they are neat.).
Next is the Final exams Arc, which would go unchanged, but the next arc, the Forrest Camp Training arc, would also not have a League attack (because there is no league), and Class 1-A and Class 1-B have a normal experience at the training camp, causing there to be no Hideout Raid arc, because there is no hideout to raid.
Next, the Provisional License Exams are the same results, so no change here, except Camie Utsushimi would be there instead of Toga's impersonation of her, and still ending up to need to take the Remedial Course.
After that is the Shie Hassaikai Arc and then Remedial Course Arc. The Shie Hassaikai Arc would actually largely go unchanged because it is mainly just another internship for the Hero Course students, with the only change to the arc being the League involvement being removed, even though this would leave some plot holes, which I will fill by saying the small unorganized Stain followers would take the place of the league (since Toga and Twice are apart of the Stain followers group, so they would still end up working for them, filling the same rolls they had in the original Arc). Also Overhaul doesn't lose his arms because there would be no reason for him to get them ripped off (because there is no League of Villains). ALSO this means Eri would be canon to the BNHA OC Comeback, which I wanted to mention since from my knowledge she is a fan favorite. After that, the Remedial Course would go unchanged.
I'm also going to say that Mirio will have already gotten his quirk back during the main events of the AU, since Nighteye had predicted that he would get it back before Nighteye had died. How he gets it back will likely go unanswered, since I have not read ahead to the most recent chapter of the manga, only watching the anime, so we should leave the answer to how he got it back to be unclear just in case he gets it back in a spoiler-y way.
Then, lastly as of right now, the rest of the arcs would go unchanged up untill the latest arc where Todoroki, Midoriya, and Bakugo are interning with Endeavor, excluding the parts of the arc going into the Meta Liberation War, which can not properly go through thanks to their being no League of Villains, but especially because there is no Tomura.
Alright now we get to the stuff some of you are here for, being the new info and timeline stuff that occurs during the year Class 1-X and 1-Y are first years. First off, Class 1-A and Class 1-B would now be third years, which was a concept brought up in the original post that cause my brain to go into theory mode.
I would also like to pose the idea of a new "Big Three", replacing Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado (and also the nameless "Big Three" from when 1-A/1-B had been second years in this AU) since 1-A and 1-B are now all third years. This new "Big Three" would be made up of Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and Izuku Midoriya, seeing as out of Class 1-A and Class 1-B, those three have shown to be the most consistent heavy hitters (and also being the most relevant to the original plot).
Aside from that, Class 1-A and 1-B would not be doing that much in the AU aside from the new "Big Three" occasionally helping out the first year Hero Course students with their studies.
Anyway if you read this far I really appreciate it. I have some more ramblings about stuff in the tags, but its more side stuff that doesn't really effect this AU within another AU.

Have you heard? Apparently, Horikoshi said Hero Academia might be headed to a conclusion soon. This was surprising to say the least; not just because fans don’t want it to end but because it doesn’t really feel like it’s anywhere close to it’s end (plenty think it’s closer to halfway, with a select few like me thinking it’s closer to the 1/3 point). This has led some to speculate, partially in denial, if the conclusion Horikoshi is talking about is not actually the series’ “conclusion” concussion, but instead a Naruto Shippuden style “new name for the next part” type of deal. (Or if he’s just having the word “soon” put in some serious work.)
So I want to discuss that; go over as many reason I can think of for why the series could end within the next year or 2, or for why it could see another 5+ years to it’s life. It mean it sounds fun, right?
(Going into this though, I would like to state my bias. I don’t want the series to end soon; and if it kept at it’s current pace to conclude Deku’s academic life in chapters 800~1000, I would be a very happy camper. I’ll try not to let this affect my judgement, but I’ve got no oversight but myself here so...)
Anyway, here we go.
Reasons for the series to end soon.
Tumblr media
I think a good point to start is that Horikoshi once stated he planned to end the series at around 30 volumes, roughly what’s already been covered, before finding he needed to expand the series further than that. That’s understandable, it’s easy to see how this arc could’ve been the end of the series had things played out differently enough in the last few chapters; but if he’s already said he’s expanded beyond that, what does that have to do with this discussion? Well for this side of the argument, it means 2 things: 1) all that’s left can be considered the ‘expansion’ on Horikoshi’s original idea, so how likely is it that there’s a lot of that, & 2) that Horikoshi likely didn’t intend for the series to last for Deku’s full school life, a major belief for those expecting the series to last a significant time.
Tumblr media
And when we look at the actual content of the series, yeah there’s certainly things that could point to the series ending soon; namely all the arcs and plot threads that kinda just got resolved rapid fire. Dabi’s reveal, Mirio getting his quirk back, Hawks launching the attack he’s been orchestrating since his first appearance, Compress’s face, Bakugou letting go of his resentment for Deku; just to name a few. True, this is nowhere near all of the arcs & plot threads; but it’s a sizable enough portion if we’re assuming the rest have the next year or 2 to resolve themselves. A few more arcs like this last one and yeah, the series won’t have anything really tying it down from ending.
Tumblr media
There’s also Deku’s rate of vestige quirk acquisition to consider. I mean in the 3 arcs featuring him since we learned about his extra quirks, he has acquired 3 quirks. At that rate, he’d have them all in 3 more student arcs and basically be at all but full power by then. Not that him keeping up this rate of quirk acquisition is guaranteed, but it sure seems like a sign of the series not lasting too long.
Tumblr media
It’s also worth mentioning that there are ways for the series to end soon, easy paths to the finish line available to Horikoshi. It wouldn’t be that hard, for example, to get to confronting Dabi & Toga and resolving their arcs in some timely fashion. And AFO’s presence as a bigger bad over Tomura could allow for him to pull a Kaguya to his Madara, allowing for the plot to resolve with his defeat without really needing to address a lot of Tomura’s issues. And heck, that might’ve even become more likely after this latest chapter, wherein AFO acquired his very own army. That would likely involve finding too-easy solutions a lot of the more complicated issues, or worse, brushing them under the rug; but it can’t be denied that this is an option for how Horikoshi could resolve the series in just a few years.
Tumblr media
Last piece of evidence worth mentioning is the simple nature of shorter series being the “path of least resistance.” You can argue all you like how the series lasting longer makes more sense or might result in a better story (and I’m basically about to); but in the end it can’t be denied that the less the series has left, the less work it is for Horikoshi. And that’s just gonna make it inherently more likely; a largely equivalent result for less effort is never not gonna be attractive for people.
Reasons for the series to last a long time.
Okay, I’ve done my best to be fair and included as many points as I could think of in favor of a shorter lifespan; but I won’t lie, this 2nd half is gonna be the fun part of this post for me.
Tumblr media
Let’s start at the opposite end of the other side’s first point; Horikoshi planned to originally end the series at around 30 volumes. This past arc, ending in Volume 30, took place in the space between Deku’s 1st and 2nd school year, or you could say it took place during the end of his 1st year. This implies that while the original plan was not to go through Deku’s whole school life, he did intend it to end at a point of significance; the end of a school year. And what that implies is that he won’t end the series smack in the middle of the 2nd year, which would be where the series would end if it only lasted less than 3 more years. It implies he’d likely aim to end the series at the end of year 2 at the earliest, a significant ways away. (And before you ponder about a time skip; remember that year 1 had a time skip and still lasted ~30 volumes & ~6 years.)
Tumblr media
Another reason to think the series is gonna last a while; it’s quite slow, in an overall sense at least. It’s hard to describe but; It doesn’t always feel that way because the moment-to-moment pacing is very good & it always feels like something is happening and stuff is getting tackled. But this is because it tends to tackle plots one at a time; so while plots make good development while in the focus, they can stay out of focus for a significant duration. For example; the ‘Shinsou becoming a hero’ plot was introduced in the Sports Festival, only saw real development during Joint Training, and has still yet to resolve with year 2 not starting yet. Or for another example, we learned over 150 chapters ago that All Might had his future predicted where he’ll die at the hands of a villain, setting up a plot where he’ll try to twist his future and survive this unknown threat to his life. His life has not once been in danger since. Not even in a broad sense like someone’s targeting him; no, this man has not has one risk to his life since the plot thread was introduced. There’s tons for plot threads like that, I’m barely scratching the surface here. And that’s actually fine...if the series has a long future ahead of it. This system of pacing actually works wonders for BNHA; because while people can occasionally miss their faves and their plots, crying out “where’s Shinsou” and all that, they generally like what’s being focused on when it’s handled and paced well (which it usually is). As long as the series itself has time to get to all of these plots and develop them to their resolution, this pacing system works like a well oiled machine.
Tumblr media
Deku especially is a useful measuring tool for how slow this series can be. He’s not like the other plot points see, because he’s almost always around so he’s made to develop at a more even pace until the end. This is in contrast to characters like Shinou, Aoyama, Kirishima, Toga, or Shigaraki; who get bursts of development because they don’t spend consistent time in the spotlight and Horikoshi can’t be entirely sure when he’ll get the next chance to make use of them. So with that said, how slow is his development & how far along is it? Well, not very actually. Aside from in terms of powers, his development has been a bit lacking. Not to say he hasn’t had character moments, but they have been a bit scarce & minimal; and a lot of his major flaws (such as his self-destructive tendencies, his self-esteem issues, and his toxic hero worship) have barely been addressed, let alone resolved. In general, his character feels like it’s barely changed since he got into UA; in stark contrast to characters like Shigaraki, Todoroki, Shinsou, & even Bakugou. And that kind of implies a long road a head of him.
Tumblr media
To bounce off another point from the “short future section” I mentioned how a lot of overarching plots just ended. The thing about that is, I actually made a post talking about that and how a lot of how they ended seems to set up more overarching plots then they seem to end. To not repeat myself too much, because this post is already really long; it’s like the series resolved the greater part of 6 years of content only to set-up up to 6 more years of content, and all in one arc. (Goodness that was a busy arc.)
Tumblr media
And that’s just the advancement of already existing plot points. There’s a lot it can feel like he hasn’t even touched on yet. Mostly characters. There are just. So. Many. Characters in this series. That are in positions of seeming importance, but have done nothing. For example, Horikoshi’s been known to suddenly focus on class 1A students to make them feel important, and has gotten through maybe over half; but hasn’t really touched on Sero, Sato, Koda, Ojiro, Hagakure, & especially Shoji (who really, really feels like he has something planned, but nothing’s happened yet). And that’s just the guys below Mineta’s development level, which itself is pretty low. To say nothing of Class 1B, or Ms. Joke’s students, or most of the 30 faces known in the PLF, the main antagonistic group of the series! And yeah, this could all just be because Horikoshi likes introducing characters in larger groups than he’s actually equipped to handle; I’m not denying that. I’m just saying it’s also possible that he could be doing this because he feels like he has the time to explore them whenever he wants. (Heck, it could very well be both.)
Conclusion:
...I don’t know dude. I mean a longer series looks more likely to me; but I am very well aware that I’m not unbiased enough to make any real conclusive statement. Maybe I should consider that to mean it’s more even than that.
Perhaps we’re just too far away from the ending to really be able to tell either way. I mean low estimates still give the series at least a year. But even so, I do think this was all worth considering; because if nothing else, I did get a feel for all that’s likely to happen between now and the inevitable end. And I guess it turns out to be kind of a lot. So that’s neat.

[Part Two, Part Three]
(In this Soulmate AU you are a lucky third-year student in the support course. Yes, unfortunately, you couldn’t quite reach your goal to become a Pro Hero. But even so, the last thing you suspected was for a villain to be your Soulmate but looking upon Dabi, it would explain those sensations you’ve been feeling throughout your life.)
Tumblr media
soul mate/ˈsōl ˌmāt/
noun:
a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner.
In this day and age, you would think quirks to be the most unique aspect of human society, but depending on the person, you might find a disagreement. There was yet another unique feature beyond that of quirks and it was soulmates. You had always heard the stories, the way two souls would find each other. Some were blessed enough with a timer, others with something as simple as a matching tattoo. But you... you were a tad bit different.
Sensation. The ability to feel your soulmate’s pain. At first, you didn’t understand it. But piece by piece, the puzzle formed. It had all started, however, when you were small. You were playing in the backyard, it was a sunny day and flowers were poking out from the ground. You were happy, giggling as you run through the grass. Not a damned care in the world until you let out a cry, crashing to the ground. “y/n are you alright!?” your mother shouted as she ran to your side, her comforting arms scooping you up.
But you couldn’t respond, your body racked with intense burning. Everything from your face, to your chest, down the length of your arms and the tips of your fingers. It was unlike anything you had ever experienced like your very flesh was set on fire and beginning to melt. You couldn’t even breathe, your face turning blue as your mother cradled you closer. Shaking with fear, she cried out. “Help! Someone help my child!” you couldn’t remember much after that, apart from the few tears that rolled down your cheek before the world turned black.
In the beginning, it was scary. The pain would come and you’d scream out before eventually collapsing. But as you grew older, the pain, the burning felt more controlled. It would course through the top of your arms and to the tips of your fingers where it felt most intense. But you found yourself not only getting used to the feeling but looking forward to it. Of course, you had to keep that fact well hidden, especially within the walls of U.A. High. You always feared that people wouldn’t understand, despite the fact you had come to know your friends and teachers to be trustworthy.
Though love and romance were permitted between students as a member of the Support Course you typically didn’t have time for it. It was your job to create gadgets, weapons, and hero attire that would improve the function and capability of a hero’s quirk. Really, there was no time for daydreaming and despite the fact, the burning would come even when you were in the Development Studio. Hero work was your life.
Though most looked down on the Support Course students, having the belief that they did nothing but stay on the sidelines. Oh no, that was not true. You were currently in your third year, 18 years old and frankly, had become well known to a few select agencies and a handful of Pro Hero’s had even reached out to you with offers of becoming a valuable sidekick. Though you politely declined, especially now that you were volunteering for more missions and focusing on schoolwork in general.
Apparently, Aizawa had the idea that Support Course students needed to learn certain combat skills and experience real missions alongside the Hero Course students in order to better their own experience and better understand just how important it was to continue their craft. Of course, you already had a passion for what you did, it wasn’t Hatsume level but it was up there. So it was a little unnecessary that Aizawa thought you had to relearn your love for the craft.
Still, you went along with it. Though you weren't as brave as the heroes when it came to missions and yet when you woke up this morning, you felt a little more excited than usual. Today was the start of one of the bigger missions you had signed up for even if Aizawa was a little weary of you volunteering for it at first. You had managed to convince him after all the last couple missions only landed you in the hospital for a couple days and it was just a few broken bones and skin tears.
The mission itself was very clear, The League of Villains was planning to intercept a local drug distributor that was in possible connection with the rumored quirk enhancing drugs. It was you, Midoriya, Togata, Ochako, and Amajiki that were put in charge of containing the area and halting any possible transactions. However, you should have known something was off when that burning came. Coursing through your veins, through your bones, to your very core.
Yet, you had decided to play it off, hoping your fellow teammates didn’t notice the way you were clenching your fists. But it was highly unlikely they’d catch on considering how well you managed to hide your dilemma. You were almost grateful that your position was to play the part of the lookout and only engage when your fellow heroes truly needed it. That is if you saw one of them get hurt. Perhaps fall or get knocked unconscious
You knew the basics of how to defend yourself and others. But you had enough confidence in your teammates to know they could handle themselves, after all, they were the strongest heroes you knew. Especially Deku, considering the strength and courage he always showed. Not only that but the encouragement he gave others was something you admired. You tried to keep his influence in mind as the mission began, at first it was slow.
The fellow heroes had taken their positions, surrounding the area and ensuring no means of possible escape if things went haywire. With your communicator nestled in your ear, you relayed what you witnessed from your position. Despite the fact that hours had passed before you actually saw something important. Headlights illuminated the ground and it only took a few moments to see a large truck come into view.
“y/n can you see who's in the truck?” Deku’s voice sounded in your ear and you narrowed your eyes. “It appears to be four subjects, all of them male,” you replied before something caught your eye, your fingers burned just before you noticed it. One of the males produced what looked like a blue flame, it crackled in the palm of his hand. Your heart raced a moment as you glanced down at your own palm, there was a faint warmth radiating from it along with the pain.
Your breath hitched, was he ...no, no, no. This was a coincidence! That’s all, just a coincidence. A lot of people had fire quirks but ...your fingers curled into your palm which was still warm. “...y/n...y/n!” you snapped out of your thoughts, your head whipped back up and you noticed sparks of ember in the air. “What happened!?” you cried out, standing from your position on the rooftop. “Now isn’t the time to get distracted y/n!” came Togata’s firm voice but you were too focused on the industrial building that was now set ablaze.
You almost felt embarrassed, were you so distracted by your own thoughts you became absent to the world? You continued to watch in awe as the building burnt down, the blue tint was almost memorizing and despite your best intentions as a hero. You couldn’t help but feel an almost blissful emotion take over, a sort of happiness. Wait, what? You groaned and clenched your fists, hitting the sides of your head.
Snap out of it! You clenched your jaw as pain coursed through your arms. Focus on the mission! You took a deep breath, you needed to remain calm. That’s how a mission was complete. Focus your mind on nothing but the mission. You dropped your arms and leaned over the rooftop, pulling your goggles down. Hatsume offered to make them for you and you had to admit, they worked. There were different lenses installed which were designed to help you navigate through various conditions, like dark, fog, smoke and so on.
“y/n, do you have any pin on the villain locations?” came Midoriya’s voice, “Give me a second!” you replied, turning your head to scan the area. “Lemillion, you have two on your right. Deku there’s one heading straight for your location,” you warned though one was still missing. “No problem! Lemillion is on the case!” you couldn’t help but roll your eyes, Togata was a trip sometimes. “Go, hero ...go.” you replied in a sarcastic manner.
“Deku, be careful too. There’s still one missing. Ochako, Amajiki keep your eyes peeled.” you warned, ignoring the way your hands burned as your grip tightened on the metal railing of the roof. You continued searching, the smoke in the air was beginning to grow thicker. Why would the League of Villains go through so much trouble to get their hands on some quirk enhancing drugs? Well, maybe it was for the same reason the building continued to burn. Maybe it was a mere distraction to lure the heroes away from the real issue.
You narrowed your eyes. “What are you up to ...” you whispered to yourself, it seemed another aspect of hero work was piecing together the very few clues the villains left behind. Not always an easy task. You gasped when you heard a noise and turned on your feet. Your stance was tense, your fists clenched. Ready to pounce if you needed to, however, no one was there. Your stance dropped for a moment, though a good hero should know never to let their guard down.
“Those other heroes have you distracted.” you gasped when you heard that voice, it was low and raspy with little emotion. Your arm trembled, burning just as you saw it coming. The blue flame headed straight towards you. “Ah!” you cried out, just barely avoiding it with a cheap but effective maneuver. But even so, that didn’t mean you dodged the heat. The fireball was scorching and though it hadn’t touched you, your clothing still let off a little smoke.
Stumbling back onto your feet, your free hand reached to grasp your arm that was just now cooling off. Your eyes set forward as a man appeared from the shadows, the first thing you noticed was his wild black hair. It was short but styled out in short spikes. The next was his eyes, even in the darkness you could see they were a deep blue. That followed down to his skin and those unusual metal like staples embedded into it, almost like they were holding his skin together.
In addition, it looked like parts of his face, chest, arms, and hands were burned by something. It reminded you of when you were small, the feeling of your flesh burning. He seemed to notice you were daydreaming, lost in your own thoughts and his eyes drifted to your arm which you were still holding. He tilted his head back, raising an eyebrow before a wicked smile came to his face. “What’s the matter doll ...hurt your arm?” you growled in response, though he wasn’t wrong.
Your arm did hurt, but it wasn’t from any injury. “Who are you?” you demanded with a hiss, taking a step back. However, this only seemed to amuse the stranger, the villain. That soft chuckle he gave made a shiver run down your spine. “Name’s Dabi, dollface,” he replied before bringing his hands up, palms wide open and a blue flame sparkling to life. “Shit ...” you hissed under your breath, you were getting tired of this. Maybe if you clenched your hand's tight enough you could ignore the pain.
Either way, this wasn’t good and you had already decided it would be best to play defense, distance yourself from those flames rather than stay and continue to converse with Dabi as he called himself. “y/n status!” Suneater’s voice came through, though it was a bit hard to hear. More than likely he had joined in to help Lemillion fight off those two villains. “I’m a little busy right now!” you replied before a metal beam came out from the Hydraulic Bracers Hatsume allowed you to borrow.
You were thankful for such a giving classmate, especially now that another ball of fire came hurtling towards you. “Ah!” you cried out as the metal beam toppled over the roof and sent you crashing towards the ground. You would have grabbed something, anything to stop yourself from getting hurt. But that would leave you vulnerable for Dabi’s continued attack and your arms were currently disabled. Feeling as though they were melting off the bone.
“y/n, are you alright, what’s happening?” came Uravity’s voice but you had little time to respond as you crossed your arms, hitting the ground and rolling in an attempt to reduce any damage taken. Though your shoulders took most of the beating, despite the fact you had special hover pads installed in the soles of your shoes which now thinking it over, might have been a better option than attempting a suicide jump. Still, you got onto your feet quickly and looked up at the rooftop.
There was Dabi, that ripped long-tailed jacket of his blowing along with the wind and making him look even more menacing. Though the way he was hunched over, it was similar to how you felt at the current moment. Your shoulders were still aching and pulsing with a faint pain. For a brief moment, you could have sworn those eyes of his lit up and you watched his lips move but no audible words came out. Was he talking to himself?
Still, it was short-lived as you watched a smile come to his face. It was a little eerie to see those staples move along with those lips. “Heh, so the little kitty knows how to jump.” you couldn’t help but growl, feeling a mix of emotions. Those flames and how he looked, the burns upon his skin and the connection between his quirk and your body. A villain ...why would fate do that? Well, it didn't matter because you wouldn’t accept it. You couldn’t accept it.
“What’s a matter ...kitty lose their tongue?” Dabi mocked as he held his arms out and your eyes widened, oh no. Your jaw clenched, your nails digging into the palm of your hands which were a little too warm for your own comfort. “Don’t you dare!” you shouted, anger booming in your voice. Dabi paused a moment before chuckling which only made you angrier. What the fuck was his problem!? “I don’t think it’s your place to tell me what to do, little hero ...” his flames went up, illuminating his wrists and hands.
It crackled with rage and you hunched over, your own arms trembling. Damn him. You knew this was bad, you needed to move. Another chuckle came as he pulled his arms back, his blue flame blowing with the wind. Move now! He smirked, obviously overjoyed to be causing this destruction and when he released that fireball, your body went frozen. Damn it! Move! Your eyes couldn’t look away as it grew closer, once more you could feel the heat that came with it. You shook your head and closed your eyes, almost like you were ready to accept your fate.
However, much like before your Hydraulic Bracers sprang into action and forced you to move. The metal pole embedding itself into the ground and causing you to get pulled back, your shoes grazed the ground temporarily. The resulting flash from the fireball colliding with the ground made you cry out, your hands coming up to shield your eyes from the brightness. Embers sparked but you hardly paid attention to that. When you hit the ground again, your body skimmed across the dirt. Your shoulders pulsed with more pain from the harsh landing, damn it. How did other heroes make falling look so graceful?
Your knee had gotten cut and your clothes were ripped in various ways. You felt as though the wind was knocked out of you but even so, you forced your body to sit up. Shooting pain coursed through your arms making them violently shake and your legs seemed to refuse your commands. You looked back at Dabi, fear as clear as those flames in your eyes. You swallowed and began dragging your body, your fingers digging into the soft ground. The sound of Dabi’s laughter came, apparently, he found it amusing to watch you crawl for your life.
But the smoke from the building was still going strong, thick enough for one to hide in. If you could just get there, maybe that would be enough to avoid Dabi until you found a safer location. You kept at it, crawling faster and faster. Though you felt your heart sink with fear when the sound of Dabi landing on the ground came, it was unmistakable and soon footsteps followed. “Shit ...shit ...shit!” you hissed under your breath, willing your legs to move.
Your knee was throbbing, blood oozing from it and you could hear Dabi’s steps becoming more strained as you continued to try and move your bleeding limb. Pressing your teeth together, you somehow managed to stumble onto your feet. But you were unbalanced and pain shot through you, despite the fact you tried to take a step forward. “Come here doll ...” Dabi said though it seemed forced as if he too was trying to push through the pain you felt.
You didn’t look back and decided to try and foolishly kick off the ground. Even if it was with your good leg, as soon as your damaged knee came forward. You yelped in pain and fell to the ground once more, your arms outstretched in front of you. So close, yet so far. You took a breath, ready to try again when you felt him grab your shirt collar. You yelped as you were pulled back, your heart racing with fear when Dabi leaned down.
His hot breath along your ear made you shiver and coincidentally you swore you saw Dabi give the same shiver. But it seemed he was better than you at ignoring it, damn him. But what more did you expect from a villain? “So dollface,” he began, somehow making your breath hitch. Though your lungs were beginning to burn from being so close to the smoke. What the hell were you thinking? Your eyes were even beginning to water, you couldn’t hear anything but the building slowly falling apart in front of you.
Your communicator must have fallen out when you jumped from the roof, so you couldn’t even call for help. Brilliant. Damn it. Maybe this is why heroes were truly the only ones meant for missions. You had already messed everything up. Why? What was so different about this mission, well that much was obvious and at that moment Dabi only seemed to confirm the very thing you were trying so hard to deny.
“Seems I finally found you, but I guess it’s safe to assume what we’re both thinking. This is fucking shitty.” you felt your mouth go dry and your heart sinks in your chest, yeah ...it was a disappointment. Jesus, everyone else. Everyfuckingone else got their happy ending, got matched well with their soulmate. The one they were ideally and utterly meant for. But here you were, fate fucked you hard. What possible reason could it have for pairing you with Dabi?
You were a hero ...well close enough anyway. Besides that, a soulmate was supposed to treat you like a God or Goddess. But here was your supposed soulmate meeting and you were injured and bleeding. You felt like crying, but you refused. Willing all your strength, you swallowed and parted your lips. “Yeah ...s-so you’re responsible for all the pain I’ve been feeling ...the burning. All that hurt. I-It was you.” Dabi almost seemed amused, you could already picture that smirk on his wicked face.
“Yeah, it wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies for me either, doll.” he released his grip on your shirt causing you to jolt forward, palms pressing against the ground again. “That’s the problem with all you goddamn heroes.” Dabi began and part of you wanted to interject, but another wanted to see what else he had to say. “You’re so high on your pedestals that you always blame others for your own problems, do you think that’s brave? Frankly, I think it’s plain stupidity.”
He shook his head and continued, “Even so, I can at least point the finger at you for my bones aching and my body feeling like it’s been bruised. As if I need that fucking baggage.” he finished before wrapping his fingers around your neck. Your hands immediately went up, scratching at his wrist. “L-Let go!” you cried out, but Dabi only tightened his grip making it harder for you to breathe. You felt utterly hopeless, you weren’t a hero like Midoriya, you weren’t brave like Togata, you couldn’t find inner-courage like Amajiki.
What the hell could you find besides failure? You squeezed your eyes shut, continuing to struggle against Dabi’s grip. “Baby doll, you better quit that,” he replied and you gasped when you felt that quick dose of fire against your skin. It was only for a moment, but even so, the heat alone was enough to make you freeze. More than likely, your neck would have burns on it. But that was the furthest thing from your mind, your breathing halted and you kept silent which seemed to please Dabi.
“Heh, maybe you are a good little hero when it comes to taking orders.” he chuckled and you wanted to lash out at him, but you knew you couldn’t possibly do anything to him. Even if you tried, he had you at checkmate. “Now ...” Dabi grinned and leaned over, releasing your neck. “Fuck ...” you hissed as the hot air hit the burns Dabi had created. You clenched your jaw, that bastard. How the fuck would you explain this?
“You better enjoy this ...” Dabi spoke before pressing a kiss to your neck. His lips felt wet and crusty against your skin and it made you cringe. But once again you were reminded that you couldn’t do anything, even if you tried to escape those flames of his would burn you to a crisp. “Frankly, you’ve made my already fucked up life worse. If that’s even possible, so I think it’s about time I got some pleasure out of you.” his words made your stomach twist, you felt like you could vomit at the picture he painted.
Why the hell would you ever ...EVER do anything he wanted? “Ah ...stop it!” you cried out when those lips pressed against your neck again, peppering kisses along the skin between the crook of your neck and jaw. It burned, but at the same time, you could feel tingles beginning to spread. A pant or two leaving your lips. “Mm, do you really want me to, doll? Let’s feel something good for once ...” Dabi insisted as he continued his assault and damn it all. You found yourself beginning to give in, was this a part of it?
For those that were truly mix-matched, for the souls that seemed opposite of each other, for the love predestined between two individuals. Did their touch, their lips, their essence make a difference? Make the truth be known that they were the only for you? Did they truly have your mind, body, and soul from the beginning? Your thoughts were jumbled as you leaned your head back, feeling those lovebites Dabi created throb along the length of your burnt neck.
You hated to admit, but you were beginning to feel aroused. Was this part of Dabi’s plan? Was he somehow excited about this? “Ah!” you cried out when those teeth sank harder into your neck as if you didn’t feel enough pain. You squirmed, Dabi’s saliva was making your tender skin burn like hell. But, you couldn’t help but shift your legs. Despite the pain and humiliation, you felt something gathering moist.
You knew it wasn’t your own feeling, you couldn’t ...you wouldn’t get high off an assault like this, “Dabi ...” his name left your mouth in a soft whimper and you gasped when those large hands wrapped around your waist, taking upon themselves to travel towards your chest. “Mm, you feel it don’t you? Despite everything, this soulmate bullshit. I know there’s no escape from this tie, so I might as well have fun with fucking around.” with that, he cupped your breasts. Squeezing them harshly which made you cry out again.
You felt your breathing grow heavy as Dabi massaged them, pinching your hardened nipples that were straining against the fabric of your shirt. “You might be more fun than I thought, doll.” he chuckled in your ear, though unlike before you found the sound endearing. His hands went back around your waist and you could feel his own legs spreading. Gasping as you were pulled back, your legs felt like jello but that dulling pain of your knee could still be felt. Guess that was a good thing.
Dabi positioned you between his legs, allowing your back to rest against his chest and allowing him to have full access to you. He grinned and resumed his dirty work. He loomed over you, laying his head on your shoulder and snaking one hand up your shirt. You gasped as you felt his fingers graze over your bra before pulling it down. “W-What are you -ah!” you cried out once again as he cupped your breast, teasing your nipple. Pinching the sensitive nub between his thumb and index finger.
His other hand reached further down, brushing against the Hydraulic Bracer you had. A minor annoyance, but not one that interfered with Dabi’s goal. He only paused briefly before slipping his fingers underneath your waistband. He chuckled as he felt the moist fabric of your underwear, “The big bad villain has such an influence over the little hero. How fun.” you could only whimper in response, you were a hero, yes but at the current moment, you were nothing short of a hormone-filled mess.
You squirmed as his finger ran along the slit of your underwear, teasingly circling your clit. “Ah ...Dabi please ...” you cried out, which made him smirk. “Glad you’re enjoying this, feels good to be touched like this by your soulmate hm? Or better yet, do you just enjoy being touched by a filthy villain?” you shook your head, yes every fiber of your being was screaming that Dabi was a villain but this connection. Could you truly fight it?
You took a breath, though it was strained. “I ...t-the ...c-connection do you fee-” your words came to a halt when you felt Dabi’s warm fingers brush against your dripping slit. When did he snake underneath your underwear? Well, it didn’t matter, you could feel his fingers collect your slick before pressing hard against your throbbing clit. You squirmed and once again cried out, “Dabi!” your voice echoed through the air and just before you felt his finger dip into your folds.
“y/n!” Midoriya cried out and your head whipped up, seeing the hero himself soaring right above you. That familiar green and yellow aura surrounding him and he looked a little beaten as per usual. But the look in his eyes was fierce and his lips were turned up in a snarl. “Get away from them!” Midoriya warned as he reeled his fist back, more than likely for his famous smash move. Though nowadays he used his legs more.
“Deku wait!” you cried out, holding your hand out but it was clear there was no stopping what the young hero was going to do. You gasped a moment later when you felt something slimy wrap around your waist, looking down you saw it was one of Amajiki’s tentacles. “Ah no!” your hand was still outstretched, as if you were planning to grab something, anything to prevent being ripped away from Dabi.
But everything happened too fast, one moment you were being pulled through the air, the next Amajiki’s arms were around you, then you were running through the forest. You could hear the impact of Midoriya’s punch and the trees shook as Amajiki continued to run with you cradled in his arms. You took a breath and reached up, grasping onto Amajiki’s cloak. “No! Please Amajiki, S-Suneater you have to turn around!” you begged you didn’t feel any pain so it was likely that Dabi had moved out of the way in time.
But still, you felt your heartbreak in your chest and Amajiki was not going to give in to your request. “Y-You’re injured ...w-we need you to go uh ...we n-need to get you help ...” he insisted and you promptly beat his chest with your fist. “No! I need to see Dabi!” you cried in response and watched Amajiki look at you with a raised eyebrow. “D-Did you hit your head y/n? Y-You’re pretty bruised up ...” which was true, you had a banged-up knee, various bruises across your body and face.
A few visible burns scattered across your skin and your clothes in addition to being ripped were covered in dirt, blood, and soot. Not exactly the ideal image of well-being. Still, you struggled in his arms, your hand outstretched again and you silently prayed to feel pain. The burning flesh, anything to know Dabi was okay, God ...were you going crazy? You clenched your jaw again, which dully throbbed with pain and tears slowly streamed down your face. Were you going to see him again?
The mission was called a failure, though the heroes had fought bravely. The villains had gotten away with the quirk enhancing pills and you were scolded at for being so careless, however, you were the only one who ended up with severe injuries. Aizawa had visited you in the hospital, though it was only to further scold you and put you on probation. You were not allowed to volunteer for missions until further notice, though you were still permitted to continue your support course work.
Though what could gadgets and hero attire do for you now? You felt isolated and the only thing you could think about was Dabi. Laying in your hospital bed, you stared at your hands. Your fingers twitched but you couldn’t feel Dabi anymore. Not his flames, not his pain. Nothing. But you secretly hoped he could feel the hole in your chest, despite it being a short meeting and despite what had happened. The way he injured you and then pleasured you.
Your heart called out to him and most would probably laugh if they found out that you longed to be with a villain. But those were probably the same people that had gotten lucky with their soulmate, no villains attached. “Damn it ...” you sighed and leaned over, running your hands through your hair. These thoughts were beginning to frustrate you and you were afraid at this rate you’d end up doing something you’d regret.
Then again, would the hero world really miss you if you decided to take a break? You were a little angry that Aizawa decided to give you a strict punishment instead of inquiring if you were truly okay or about the details of what happened. But even so, you would prefer to keep it a secret. You sighed and sat up in your bed. Allowing your feet to dangle over the side before you stood up and walked to the window.
Pulling the curtain back, you glanced out at the city. Down below people were walking, some chatting with their friends, some walking with their children. But what stood out the most to you were those couples who were holding hands, laughing together. Another sigh left your lips as you focused your eyes up. Staring at your own reflection in the glass, you looked tired. Bandages surrounded your neck and knee. The rest of the minor injuries had gauze pads held in place by medical tape.
You pressed one hand against the glass, fingers spread and you noticed that there were burn scars there too. Must have happened when you grabbed at Dabi’s wrist. You felt your heart sink again, did you miss Dabi? That sad truth was, yes you did. Your hand curled into a fist and you glanced down. A determined look flashing in your eyes, “I have to find him again ...” you resumed watching the people below, just going about their lives.
It might be a challenge and frankly, you didn't know where to start. All you knew about Dabi was ...his name, his association with the League of Villains and that you two were soulmates. Eventually, you would have to cross paths again but you could really just sit and wait? At the moment it looked like you had no choice, U.A. kept a strict eye on their students. But one way or another, you had already decided what you wanted and damned be anyone that dares get in your way.

I was gonna do a “missing the point”-style meme but I’m honestly not sure that would even work tho so:
Harry Potter and My Hero Academia/Boku no Hero Academia have similar issues with introducing and then immediately ignoring ENORMOUS issues re: ableism.
I think these two series in specific come to mind bc it’s ableism within a specific empowered community, and in both cases the series are pretty well-known and the community (Wix/Heroes) are immediately identifiable to many audiences.
[WARNING: Discussions of ableism, child harm, and abuse on multiple levels.]
What’s the problem?
SQUIBS.
[This post got stupid huge SO here is a tl,dr for all you lovely people who understandably have no time for this.
TL, DR: Both Harry Potter and Boku No Hero have a bad tendency to implement or imply a level of disability regarding unempowered people in empowered societies. They then continue on to completely disregard important conclusions to these implications, such as how heavily it is implied that these unempowered people (Squibs) are so ‘worthless’ to those societies that their very deaths are merely a byline rather than an actual tragedy.
This is especially troubling in MHA/BNHA when so many other political and worldbuilding considerations HAVE been planned out, and seems to be less-discussed in the fandom as a whole, so that’s a much larger chunk of this post.]
That’s your tl, dr!
Here’s the Harry Potter angle:
HP has a bit that I’ve seen people discussing already: Neville’s magic was discovered when his uncle dropped a literal child a potenial lethal distance.
Neville activating his power and surviving is celebrated, and then JKR immediately glosses over the glaring issue this has introduced: the heavy implication that a Squib dying from this incident would have not have been mourned or even really commented on.
The few adult Squibs (and isn’t that a whole new slice of wonderful /j) are generally disliked and ridiculed for some reason or other. Now, while obviously there are plenty of places where the Venn diagram of “disabled” and “asshole” intersect irl, when your ONLY presentation of a disabled character or group is, every time, an asshole or a fool or both, boy! That’s bad!
Neville (who is generally presented as magically, physically, and mentally weak and often treated as comic relief) is a bit better via the POV Character constantly having positive interactions with him, but this is still a mess. Yes, Neville canonically is not a Squib, but it’s not subtle that he’s on the cusp OF being a Squib, and that is a key element of ridiculing him in many situations (also the whole trauma thing multiple times, like if I really get into it I could do a whole double-size post of how Neville was done dirty or nearly dirty by JK all the time but this isn’t that post).
This isn’t even the point of this post. Let’s move to MHA/BNHA
Hero Academia has differing but honestly even worse issues. And I’m aware that different countries handle ableism and accessibility in different ways, but if you think too hard about it this is an absolute clusterfuck.
What is the problem now?
Squibs! Or rather, the main character of the series, Midoriya Izuku.
Deku (a nickname meaning “useless”! Imparted after his disability is recognized! hilarity!!) is also born without powers. Even worse in some ways, he is born without powers in a world where the overwhelming majority of the global population has some kind of empowerment. I can’t recall if it’s outright stated or only implied that someone with a functionally useless (and hoo boy, usefullness to society is its own post nope not today i do not have that much energy) Quirk is still more of a person than a Quirkless human.
That sink in? Okay, let’s move on.
In a narratively not-uncommon turn of events, Deku gains power. This is partially a product of, and directly tied to, his own work and determination, as well as his willingness to help even when physically outmatched.
To an American audience (NOT the intended audience though I wouldn’t doubt it if Horikoshi meant to have international appeal more or less from the start), this is a deeply satisfying narrative. Who doesn’t love an underdog story? And we even learn that the strongest hero of all time (til this point, anyways) was ALSO born Quirkless!
However, from here, things take a nosedive.
The key problem is a combination of story progression and overall thought put into worldbuilding. Horikoshi’s efforts may not be the MOST thorough, but he has put a great deal of work and thought into his creation (he at least understands the concept of implications and sometimes plans accordingly, looking at you JKR). However, that tied with story progression and personal repercussions actually works to the detriment of the matter.
Especially given recent turns of events.
[BIG MEGA SPOILERS FOR FAIRLY RECENT PLOT
STOP HERE IF YOU’RE NOT CAUGHT UP
 SERIOUSLY]
What I mean by this is the current state of events re: two particular recent/recent-ish plot arcs.
First, Quirk Removal, and second, Endeavor’s comeuppance.
Quirk Removal/Loss was the start of my realization to what the narrative was doing regarding Izuku’s Quirklessness and the state of being overall.
This arc was a perfect time to bring up Midoriya’s past! A lot of Western works certainly would have done so! And yes, it may be bordering on done-to-death, but many elements of Hero Academia put new twists on common themes and cliches; it wasn’t unreasonable to hope that he might do it again.
Instead, little to NOTHING is discussed during this time! In fact, iirc I’d go so far as to say Midoriya straight-up never considers his past at any point during this arc!? If I’m wrong then it obviously made little impact.
NOW, not every disabled character needs to incorporate their disability and/or skills gleaned from living with it in every narrative. In fact, it would get tedious and questionable if they did (note: this does NOT mean ignoring/forgetting the character is even disabled when convenient. Like, I’d like to think that’s the obvious point of this post but... *gestures at tumblr*).
But the complete lack of it here feels really weird. Like, almost hollow. I think Midoriya makes some kind of suggestion to Mirio of his former Quirklessness at the end of the arc, but nothing that made any kind of impact.
Let’s move on.
Endeavor.
Now, the problem with Endeavor’s arc is not the arc itself. Or, rather, it’s the fact that Endeavor’s Comeuppance is pretty good.
This is a problem because someone else should be getting this exact same arc, yet the issue is never even RECOGNIZED, let alone addressed.
Endeavor’s abuse of his wife and children, all in the name of creating a Heroic legacy, is publicized and tanks his popularity. The general public is now aware of what he’s done to the people closest to him, which aside from giving him a more correct reputation, means they can’t trust him to protect them if they can’t trust him to protect his own family.
This isn’t the goal of this post and I’m no expert regardless, but up to this point (around chapter 290) this was handled in an interesting way. Endeavor is humanized and often shown interacting with people in a way that, while often domineering, isn’t always aggressive or abusive. He runs a Hero Agency for crying out loud! But abuse in the real world often isn’t constant, nor happening to everyone in contact with the abuser. So this is a surprisingly good lead up to the reveal, where you can understand how most people never realized this was an issue.
But here’s my main point. Let’s examine some traits and actions that come up:
physically abusive to a child (often dangerously so) to the point of permanent trauma and severe scarring in some cases
target of abuse was weaker (physically and/or regarding Quirk power)
often abused victim emotionally/psychologically, bringing this weakness up again and again
own immense power led to rising in the world of Heroics
comrades, fellow Heroes, UA teachers etc. not aware of prior abuse issues
Who does this sound like?
Endeavor, who has a whole fucking arc dedicated to this reveal and repercussions?
Or Bakugou?
Reminder: This isn’t a hate post. This isn’t a character post, or even an abuse post. This is about ableism.
Bakugou exhibits many, many traits and actions that Endeavor was literally just punished for. So why does the treatment of these characters in-universe differ so drastically?
Two primary reasons I can think of, which feed into each other:
1) Bakugou was a child (still technically is a minor, remember! Still a first-year high schooler!) when this started. This doesn’t mean he’s strictly innocent, but it’s an important point, because it leads us to
2) Bakugou Katsuki’s abuse of Midoriya Izuku is socially accepted.
Reminder of the audience’s first encounter with Katsuki. The very first page with him is him and his grade-school posse picking on a kid that Izuku is trying to protect. His posse is showing off their Quirk powers and mocking Izuku’s lack thereof.
Then we flash forward to late-middle school versions of the kids. Bakugou, in front of a fucking teacher and entire class, is verbally, physically, etc. abusive to Izuku. He trashes his stuff, threatens him, tells him to kill himself (which, as Izuku notes later, is a fucking felony in Japan too).
No one stops him.
No one criticizes him.
We don’t even get a shot of like, some more ‘regular’ students being like “man Bakugou’s kinda fucked up but we’re too scared to do anything about it” NO. NO. Everyone more or less either backs Katsuki up or straight up doesn’t care.
Remember that this started when Katsuki and Izuku were four. Remember that Katsuki’s power is absurdly dangerous, ie. LITERAL. GODDAMN. EXPLOSIONS.
Izuku has scars. He probably has hearing loss! He may have gotten at least one concussion which can cause serious neurological issues and open him up to further risk!
He could have died.
And?
NO ONE. DOES. ANYTHING.
THIS is the point of the post. THIS is the value placed on Quirkless people in this society.
And yet. Despite Endeavor’s comeuppance. Despite All Might and Izuku’s blatant ‘value’ to society through Heroics. Despite so many other political implications and quandaries address in the Hero Academia series.
Nothing. Nothing. Nothing about this is addressed. The nearly-lethal ableism towards Quirkless people in this society is never ONCE brought up properly once Izuku receives One For All.
There is so much potential here! There is so much worth talking about! And yet we’ve moved into what feels very much like the Final Battle without it being addessed, despite numerous, numerous opportunities for a meaningful conversation about it along the way.
Mirio losing his power! Hell, Mirio’s powers’ drawbacks (and pretty much every Quirk’s drawback! if acknowledged properly!) border on a disability-analogue, and even more when Yuga’s laser comes up, and yet again and again we fail to truly engage with the matter in a meaningful way.
At this point, even if it comes up in the finale, I’m going to be disappointed in this particular aspect of the series due to the complete and total shut-down it’s been given so far.
What the FUCK, Horikoshi?

A Learning Process (1)
AO3 Link: here
Synopsis: Bakugou isn’t exactly in touch with all of his feelings. Kirishima usually doesn’t mind. At least not, until Bakugou starts to get weird around him.
Part 2 3 4 5
Observational Learning
Contrary to popular belief, Bakugou didn’t mind his class all that much. He had called them ‘extras’ a lot, when school had begun, but that was mostly because he was really bad at remembering people’s names. All in all, they were a decent bunch, some of them really strong, some of them aiming really high and all of them very determined. He could appreciate that, at least.
What he couldn’t appreciate, however, was their tendency to get involved in all kinds of gossip. Or, to be more exact, how loud they tended to be, when they found a particularly interesting piece of gossip. Getting mixed up in other people’s business was their thing. But being obnoxiously loud about it and basically screaming their findings to each other in the classroom, got him involved too. And he hated being involved in anybody’s business.
People told him - quite often actually - he eluded an aura that made him unapproachable. That he always seems like he was going to snap and scream at someone. That really, people only asked him for help, when every other possible choice was eliminated prior.  Which was mostly bullshit, of course. Kirishima asked for his help all the time, without ever being scared of him. And he only really snapped when people got on his nerves for too long. Or when Deku was involved, which was the same thing really. Deku just got on his nerves a lot faster than other people. Still his ‘aura of unapproachable’ kept him from being involved in most of his classmates shenanigans.
Most, being the key word.
No matter how much he scowled, how much he glared or how annoyed the undertone in his voice got when he told them that ‘No, he did not care at all. He doesn’t give a rats ass about it.’ , none of this helped against Kirishima’s sunshine declaration of ‘They are finally, officially together’. Because, of course Kirishima doesn’t care about Bakugou’s obvious bad mood and his blatant disinterest on the topic. He never did. It was one of the main reasons why they were as good friends as they were. It was also annoying Bakugou to no end, at that moment.
“And who cares?”, he grunted, throwing his shoes up on the table and looking out of the window to drive to point home. And really, it spoke for the general mood in the class right now, that Iida didn’t even try to reprimand him for that. Usually this would be the start of an argument on being proper and respectful. An argument that both Kirishima and Deku would try to keep on the down low, by trying to mediate between the two. But right now, Iida’s attention was all taken by trying to calm the ruckus and getting everyone to sit down, before Aizawa would come in to start homeroom. For once, Bakugou could agree with Iida, even if he would never say it out loud. They were too damn noisy.
“You can’t be serious!”, Kirishima exclaimed and even without looking, Bakugou could tell that there was a big smile on his lips, “Todoroki and Midoriya danced around their feelings forever. This is a big development!”
“It’s two dudes kissing! No need to make a spectacle out of it!”, he retorted, shooting Kirishima a look which he hoped conveyed just how done he was with this. Ever since these two had shown up holding hands that morning, it was the only thing on everyone's mind. And after Todoroki had stated, in a very blunt way that only Todoroki could do, that yes they kissed, the whole class just exploded with euphoria. As if it was their personal accomplishment. Which it wasn’t, Bakugou wouldn’t even call it much of an accomplishment at all. It would have happened eventually, anyways.
“Well it was a long time coming!”, Kirishima argued back like it was his personal mission to make Bakugou see just how important this was, “You could at least be happy for your friends.”
“They’re not my friends!”, Bakugou argued instantly, before Kirishima got some other weird ideas in his head. Hell would be frozen over, before he called Deku his friend. He was just about to tell that to the dumbass next to him, when the classroom door opened, revealing Aizawa.
The man looked way too tired and done for a Tuesday morning, but today Bakugou resonated with that on a deeply personal level. He too wished that this entire week was over already, in hopes the waves of euphoria from the ‘news’ will have died down by next week. Realistically, he knew the chances were slim. He refused to think about that. Aizawa somehow managed to get all of the class to their seats and be quiet with just one look, so really Bakugou was mostly grateful for him that morning.
That gratefulness lasted exactly two minutes, before Aizawa announced another field-trip-turned-training-exercise. At least he had a month to mentally prepare himself for that.
__________________
That fact that he would need to prepare for that field more than just mentally, didn’t hit him until lunch break. And to be fair, he wasn’t really thinking about it then, either. He was actually just about to take a bite out of the Onigiri from his bento (that he had made himself and no, he wouldn’t make one for anyone else, no matter how much they begged), when Kirishima interrupted his peace yet again.
Bakugou couldn’t say he liked that tendency.
“Shit guys, does anyone have bug spray?”, he asked, mouth full with his sandwich, which honestly irked Bakugou even more than the question itself. Had no one ever taught this guy basic table manners? The answer was apparently no, no one ever bothered. Or maybe it just was a thing in their group, because both Kaminari and Sero also had their mouths full, when they exclaimed that no, there was no bug spray to have between them. Which was a stupid thing to be that aggrevated about.
“What do you need bug spray for anyway?”, Bakugou mumbled, after swallowing and he could already feel himself getting annoyed. What a stupid discussion to have over lunch, really.
“The training camp?”, Kaminari stated, his voice getting higher at the end, even though it clearly wasn’t phrased as a question, “I can’t have the mosquitos eat me up again. I swear, I’m just too damn cute.”
“Questionable”, Jirou said, wholly unimpressed by Kaminari getting mad at her and instead just opting to continue eating quietly. When she even got to their table, Bakugou had no idea.
“He is not completely wrong tho”, Kirishima said and Bakugou could see Kaminari in the background puffing out his chest and raising his chin, proudly. As if the idiot had any justification for being proud. He just stated a simple fact. “We do need bug spray for the mosquitos.” Kaminari visibly deflated at that. Bakugou, on the other hand, could feel his anger rising. Did that idiot really think Kirishima would agree that he was cute?
“Just go shopping then”, he said, just wanting to end this damn discussion. It wasn’t even useful, with the answer lying so obviously within reach. They all just liked to make a big fuss out of nothing. Exactly like that same morning.
“Can’t”, came a chorus of answers from all around their table with various excuses. Jirou had study sessions with Yaoyorozu. Kaminari booked the training hall, surprising everyone. Bakugou didn’t really care.
“I have time. Want me to get something for you guys?”, Kirishima volunteered starting what was possibly the worst verbal onslaught happening that day. Which said something, considering the ruckus these idiots had made that morning. Kirishima dealt with it very patiently tho, writing down who needed what. Which proved that Kirishima was way more organised than Bakugou would have given him credit for.
“Do you have anything planned this afternoon?”, Kirishima asked, with a strange undertone to his voice, that Bakugou couldn’t quite place. He could however think of where this question was headed. And he was quick to shut it down.
“I’m not going shopping with you!”
“Aw, c’mon man. This’ll be fun”, Kirishima argued, shooting Bakugou his best open-mouthed smile, presenting all of his teeth. If he thought that would sway Bakugou’s decision, he would need to think again. No way would Bakugou cave that easily.
“Find someone else.” And then to signal that this talk was really, completely over, Bakugou took another bite of his food. Kirishima just winked at him, unbothered by Bakugou being the way he is and instead turned around in his chair to face the table behind them. Oh no.
“Hey, Midoriya”, he shouted, which was unnecessary, because Deku was two arm lengths away at best, “where did you buy that super good bug spray again? You know the one you had for the last training camp.”
“That was Uraraka’s. She bought it at the mall. I don’t know the name of the shop, but I can show it to you. Are you free this afternoon?”, Deku answered, ever the helpful idiot that he was. Well, at least Kirishima found his shopping buddy. And Bakugou could be at peace.
“Sure am, thanks. Meet in front of the store at 3:30? I’ll bring Bakugou.”
No, he sure as hell wouldn’t. Bakugou was quick to voice that.
__________________
The question ‘How the hell did I get talked into this?’ went through Bakugou’s mind approximately a thousand times, between leaving the dorms and arriving at the shopping center. Which was impressive, because the way had only taken them fifteen minutes.
Fifteen minutes that Kirishima had filled with bright chatter, either blissfully oblivious to Bakugou’s mood or willingly ignoring it. He would regret this for sure. Bakugou would make him regret it. Later. For now, he was content to just listen to Kirishima chatter about anything and everything that came to his mind. It wasn’t the best use of his time, but it wasn’t the worst either. Not that he would ever admit that.
And so, while Kirishima’s chatter became a pleasant buzz in the back of his mind and Bakugou was starting to think about what he would need for their next training camp, he felt himself being more calm than he had been the entire day. Which wasn’t hard, not with the day he had, but it was still nice.
It was promptly taken from him.
Crossing the last traffic light separating them from the shopping center, where Deku was already waiting for them, he saw something. Something that made him want to turn around and go home again. To hell with Kirishima not wanting to go alone, that was no reason why he should subject himself to what will essentially be an afternoon of torture. There was no way Bakugou would just accept this like it was nothing.
Deku brought his fucking boyfriend.
“Midoriya, Todoroki”, Kirishima shouted happily, being way more enthusiastic than he had any right to. He sped up, holding up one of his arms to wave at them, which Deku promptly returned just as enthusiastic. Todoroki gave a way more timid wave and Bakugou decided he wouldn’t bother at all. No need to fake friendliness. Or that he wanted to be there.
“Kirishima, It’s good to see you”, Deku greeted, as if they hadn’t just spent hours at school together and Bakugou felt like punching something again. Why did he always feel to need to use those overly polite yet completely unnecessary phrases? Why couldn’t the idiot just be normal.
“We just saw them at school”, Todoroki pointed out and Bakugou would have nodded to agree with him, but he had his pride. No way he was going to openly agree with Deku’s boyfriend on anything. Even if it was criticizing Deku. So while Deku explained to his socially stunted boyfriend what a polite phrase was, which somehow developed into a discussion about whether or not those were time wasting ( Yes, they are, Bakugou wanted to shout, but that would be admitting to listening in on their conversations.), Bakugou started one last try to get away from all of this before it became even more of a waste of time.
“Hey Kirishima”, he addressed the boy, who looked at Deku and Todoroki with something close to a fond smile, “have fun third-wheeling on their date. I’m going home.” And with that he turned his back, hoping to get out before Kirishima could make an argument against it. A futile hope, really.
“No, come on, Bakugou”, Kirishima said in a voice that sounded an awful lot like begging, so much so, that it made Bakugou stop midstep, “I didn’t know he would bring Todoroki. Please don’t leave me alone, I don’t wanna be a third wheel.”
“And how am I supposed to help that?”
“Simple”, Kirishima, who walked around so he could face him again, smiled at him like he was the fucking sun himself, “You stay here with me, so I don’t feel left out all the time.”
“And why would I do that?”, Bakugou inquired, feeling how he got closer and closer to yelling out his frustrations. It was Kirishima’s stupid idea to go shopping with Deku, so Kirishima should be the one dealing with all of the consequences. By himself. He had no right to involve Bakugou in this.
“Because we’re friends?”, Kirishima argued, but Bakugou could tell by the way he winced at himself, that he wasn’t convinced by his own argument. He shouldn’t be. Since when did friendship mean having to subject himself to the drama that Kirishima essentially brought over himself. Old Bakugou would have laughed at him and went on his way.
But old Bakugou wasn’t really hero material. Old Bakugou also wasn’t Kirishima’s friend.
“Fine”, Bakugou grunted and Kirishima’s lit up immediately, “but you owe me.”
“Sure.” Kirishima smiled easily leading him back to where Deku and Todoroki were waiting for them, obviously finished with whatever they were doing. At least Deku had the decency to look ashamed and apologize for getting off-track (wasting their time, if you asked Bakugou). Kirishima waved the apology away and they finally got started shopping. Bakugou couldn’t shake the feeling that this was gonna be a long afternoon.
__________________
He was right, of course.
Todoroki and Deku continued to flirt incessantly. Bakugou had a burning pain in his eyes from rolling them too much and a new record in fake-gagging. Kirishima always reprimanded him for the last one. The idiots in question seemed painfully oblivious to their flirting, which made it that much more irritating. They promised they would stop everytime and then they just continued. Bakugou was about ready to scream the entire mall down.
Kirishima took it all way too lightly, in his opinion. He smiled at them gleefully and he even had the audacity to defend them, when Bakugou complained. Don’t you think it’s nice to be that in love? No, he didn’t. It’s annoying to be that in love as Kirishima put it. Could you even be in love after not even 24 hours of dating? Fat fucking chance.
“Get me some food, before I blast this entire mall down”, Bakugou grunted out, eying Kirishima dangerously. He wouldn’t actually do it, but if a threat got him some distraction, he wasn’t above using it.
“Sure thing”, Kirishima agreed, asking for preferences, before he went off. Deku accompanied him - not without making heart-eyes at Todoroki and only reluctantly letting go of his hand - and Bakugou didn’t even fight the urge to roll his eyes. Damn nerd being dramatic. Todoroki shot a knowing smile his way that only angered him more.
“What are you smirking about?”, Bakugou asked, very clearly hearing the annoyed undertone in his voice that failed to deter Todoroki. Like it always did.
“I don’t know. I just like the double date.”
“THE WHAT?”, Bakugou screamed, turning several heads towards them, none of which he cared about. What did the half-n-half-bastard just call this? He was sure he must have misheard. That, or Deku’s boyfriend had a very urgent death wish. One that Bakugou wouldn’t mind granting him, right now.
“Double date. Isn’t that what you call it, when two couples spend time with each other?” He had a death wish, Bakugou determined. There was no way he was really that dense. Out of the corner of his eyes, he could see Deku and Kirishima running towards them. They better be there fast, or there would be a real fight between him and that bastard.
“This is not a double date”, he gritted out, looking at Todoroki, daring him to disagree. Unfortunately, Kirishima was there faster than he expected, Deku on his heels. This was a disaster waiting to happen.
“Guys, what’s wrong, you’re making a scene”, Kirishima whisper-shouted when he arrived looking between them, as if he could get the answer from that. Instead of answering Kirishima - or focusing on his boyfriend like he had the entire goddamn afternoon - Todoroki decided to continue his chat with Bakugou.
"It feels like a double date to me", Todoroki said, ever the blunt one and Bakugou felt himself slowly losing it. Actually, not so slowly.
“What?”, Kirishima questioned, clearly caught off-guard.
“Shoto!”, Deku exclaimed at the same time, cheeks red and trying to get his boyfriend to pay attention to him again. Probably to dissolve the tension building between him and Bakugou. Bakugou for his part was ready to fight the bastard seriously.
“That’s not it at all! Bakugou and I aren’t dating”, Kirishima hurried to explain, putting himself between Bakugou and Todoroki while doing it, “We’re just friends. Nothing more to it.”
And that struck something deep within Bakugou. Something unpleasant, that he already hated, despite experiencing it for the first time. It was weird, nothing out of the ordinary happened - despite Todoroki’s absurd claim of course. Still he could feel his insides twisting, like someone plunged a knife in his gut. Instinctively he looked down to check, but saw nothing but his shirt. Weird.
He heard Deku and Kirishima try to explain the situation to Todoroki, but it was off. As if they were far away, instead of standing right in front of him. He caught a glance of Kirishima awkwardly rubbing his neck, while talking, Bakugou could see his mouth move, but he couldn’t make out the words. Like something was covering his ears. Kirishima smiled and his stomach twisted again.
He felt like he was getting sick.
“I’m out”, he said, not bothering whether or not they could hear him and then he swiftly moved. He needed air, to clear his head. And he needed to investigate their weird feeling in his stomach. That apparently correlated with Kirishima. Which could mean a lot of things.
It could mean anything, he tried to tell himself, while he made his way outside as fast as possible without his explosions accelerating him. He didn’t have the clear head to use them for that purpose right now.
It could mean anything, he told himself, when he heard Kirishima calling after him, a concerned undertone in his voice, that made Bakugou want to turn around. He wanted to snap, that he could take care of himself. He wanted to bathe in the knowledge that Kirishima cared for him.
It could mean anything, he insisted, when he finally made it outside and his feet automatically dragged him to the station. He took a deep breath, that helped exactly zero percent in the quest to clear his head and then he fiddled with his phone. He desperately needed the distraction.
It could mean anything , he reminded himself later that night, after Kirishima had dropped off his forgotten shopping bags and asked if he felt alright. Bakugou told a half-lie about an upset stomach and Kirishima offered to make tea. Which he declined, because he could take care of himself, thank you very much.
Kirishima had brought up some tea anyways, paired with some bread because it was safer not to risk upsetting his stomach anymore. Then he told Bakugou to just knock on his wall if he needed anything else, like the considerate idiot he was. He gave him a big smile before he left, one which twisted Bakugou’s stomach again, but it was also accompanied by a squeezing feeling in his chest this time. And Bakugou wasn’t an idiot, he knew these signs, when he saw them.
It could mean you have a crush, a traitorous voice in his mind whispered. Bakugou hated himself, for how much he actually considered the possibility.

Katsuki and Izuku were in an important meeting right now. Very important. This had to do with some villains that they had been tracking down for months now that were running a trafficking system. Katsuki and Izuku's agency had partnered up with FatGum's agency to track them down. But this was supposed to be their day off. They weren't expecting to be called in with such urgency, so of course neither of them were ready or planning on coming in that late afternoon. They did come obviously, but it had been after Katsuki was teasing Izuku. First, Katsuki started it by nibbling on his sweet spot, leaving those tiny nibbles that left little hickeys that were supposed to go away over their day off. But alas, Katsuki could look over from his seat and see that Izuku's collar and mouth guard was just barely hiding the marks and anyone who looked hard enough could see them. Then when Izuku did fully get into the mood, Katsuki started to drag his fingertips and his lips across Izuku's body to tease him. He ran his hand gently across the waistband of Izuku's boxers. All while whining softly about how Izuku never made time for him anymore and was always so busy with work. Of course that wasn't true, but he needed something to whine about. Something to get him in character.
Katsuki had got so close to what he wanted. So close to being pinned down and fucked senseless. And then their stupid fucking phones rung. He had that hard cock pressed so nicely against his ass just for it to pull away and leave him wanting. And Izuku left to answer his phone. Then Katsuki's phone rung. To present time now, Katsuki was in an extremely pissy mood now. Don't get him wrong though, he loved his job and almost everything about it, but he hated for anything to get between him, and spending time with Deku. And now Deku didn't even want to acknowledge him. He was acting as if they weren't just a dick-slip away from Izuku fucking him until he passed out. How fucking dare he! But Izuku wasn't doing as good as Katsuki thought. Izuku shifted in his seat every two minutes and he couldn't stop his leg from bouncing faster with each minute they had to stay, because they could have told everyone this over a phone call. His mind was just as clouded with sex as Katsuki's. They were both just so horny. But unlike Katsuki, Izuku wasn't blessed with baggy pants on his hero costume to hide how hard he was. He had a full body suit that hugged the absolute fuck out of him. His dick being as hard as it was, was so fucking uncomfortable no matter what he did to try to make it go down. He even tried to think of things that turned him off but it didn't work. He was fucking miserable right now.
Katsuki had a solution for them though. As they were sitting in the group around a big oval table, talking about the plan and strategies for success and minimal damage, his hand crept nice and slowly up Izuku's thigh until he could brush two fingers against that raging erection. He didn't have his gauntlets on right now so as long as no one looked directly at them, no one would notice. A small groan, almost inaudible, came from Izuku as he shifted into the touch. And as if it was natural instinct, he looked over from the corner of his eye and met Izuku's eyes doing the same, locked into a lustful gaze. And of course he made a mental note of every emotion he saw in the jade pools of his lover. And not one of those emotions wanted him to stop. Izuku was just a kinky fuck like that. In fact, he turned his chair ever so slightly towards Katsuki and Katsuki would never turn down the chance to tease the fuck out of Izuku. He moved only his eyes as he looked around, paying attention to where everyone's eyes were facing. And his hand stroked along the bulge of his lover very slowly to not raise much suspicion if someone did notice. Izuku had to close his eyes and focus on letting out deep but silent breaths through his nose as he tried to listen in on the planning as well.
He was going to fuck Katsuki so hard when they got home. He was going to destroy him for hours. And they were gonna be given their day off plus 3 after this mission so he'd be sure to leave his bratty blonde baby bedridden. Then fuck him nice and gently to overstimulate him but bring him down from his high at the same time. Just thinking about it made him blush darkly and every touch felt even better. He had to check his nose to make sure he didn't have a nosebleed from the perverted thoughts running through his head. He knew that this was the absolute last place to start thinking about different sex positions to put his boyfriend in, but he couldn't stop it when he had a hand tempting him to slam the owner of it face down on the table, fold his arms behind his back, and ravish him in front of all these other heros. That didn't sound like too bad of an idea, but Izuku had to live up to his family friendly image. It definitely wouldn't look too good for him if word spred about how the number two hero fucked the number one hero in the middle of a meeting. He's not sure how or why this information would get to the media, but they found out everything somehow.
"-Then Deku, we could use you as one of the powerhouses for the ground team and you can help us enter from here while the air team is making a distraction. Now remember everyone, this mission is all about-"
Izuku nodded but tuned out the second he wasn't being addressed directly and inched his leg open just a bit more to give Katsuki more room to work with, but by then, Katsuki was already pulling away. Which made Izuku tune back in again to see why. "That'll be all for today. Continue with your normal patrols until you're all called back in at 8:30. Try not to be late. Don't forget, peoples lives will be on the line the moment we're within range of their base." Everyone nodded in agreement and stood to leave, but Izuku was the first to jog out of there. It was only weird to the hero's in this mission who hasn't partnered with Izuku before. It wasn't weird to everyone else who did, because he usually speed-walked out and was then found somewhere isolated in the building taking notes and muttering about the most effective ways to use his quirk for whatever mission they had. But Katsuki knew that this time, he most likely just went somewhere to jack off. And Katsuki was going to find him and rile him up more.
But Izuku slipped away so damn quick, by the time Katsuki tucked his gauntlets under his arms and walked out of the door, he was nowhere in sight. But Katsuki was determined to find Him. He knew they couldn't fuck while at work... No, they just wouldn't. So that ment that he could tease the fuck out of him before they got home and Izuku couldn't do a damn thing about it. At least, he thought he wouldn't. The way he was discreetly pulled into a supply closet by lightning quick hands said otherwise. He would have beaten the fuck out of whoever it was if it wasn't obvious who it was. But from the sight he saw, he couldn't even bring words out of his mouth. Just a bit of drool. Izuku was in front of him, suit unzipped all the way, belt and gloves sitting on a shelf, boxers pulled down just enough to free his cock that was sitting hard in his hand, balls heavy as he stroked his cock so nicely. "Look at what you did Kacchan... I can't work properly if my dick is all hard, can I?" Izuku asked. Every taunt that was going to leave his mouth died in his throat as he swallowed down the lump that sat there. Izuku had that glint in his eyes. He wasn't gonna put up with Katsuki's shit talking for too long in this current state. He wanted one thing and one thing only.
"S-Sounds like a you problem, shitty nerd." Katsuki managed to squeeze in one taunt before he was grabbed and shoved on to his knees. He made sure that his gauntlets didn't drop from his arms as he was pulled, then carefully placed them on either side of him, knowing full well what was about to happen. "No, see, that's the thing. It's a YOU problem. You were the cause of it, and you're gonna take responsibility and fix it, understand? Cause if I have to leave here with my dick hard then guess who's not gonna get fucked when we get home." Izuku threatened. That put Katsuki in instant bratty sub mode. "But Daddy, you promised!" He whined, pouting up at his boyfriend. "You always do this to me! You promise that you'll make time for me and then you get angry and blame me, and then we never-!" He pouted, but Izuku was hearing none of it today. He was far too horny. And he knew how Katsuki played the victim card when it came to their sex life. "And instead of fixing the problem, you wanna complain about it when you know full fucking well that it's your fault for being a horny brat." "But-" "So stop whining and start choking on my cock." Izuku said, practically forcing his thumbs into Katsuki's mouth and opening it. He moaned quietly as he slipped his cock in slowly, feeling the bottom of it rubbing gently against Katsuki's teeth and on to his hot tongue as he slid in. Katsuki kept his eyes on Izuku's until he bottomed out in his mouth, relaxing his throat with each inch that slipped in. Katsuki didn't even gag when the fat head entered his throat, having long since gotten used to the girth of Izuku's dick. Then he watched and felt as it resurfaced and disappeared into his throat over and over again.
Izuku abused his throat. Fucked into it hard and rough and barely giving Katsuki room to breathe, not that he was trying to. He steadied himself, holding on to Izuku's thighs to keep from falling back. Katsuki felt tears and eyeliner cascading down his face from the force and lack of air, but he wouldn't dare use their stop indicator. He loved this feeling so much. To be manhandled into sucking Izuku's beast of a cock, treated like it was his only talent. Hell, if he wasn't so determined to stay the number one hero, he would have willingly gave up all of this to become Izuku's full time fuck toy. After all, he knew that he'd be well taken care of if it was Izuku. "That's much better baby boy. See how much prettier you sound when you're slurping and moaning rather than talking? You sound just like daddy's good boy is supposed to." Izuku praised Bakugou through a stream of quiet moans as he thrusted so deep into Bakugou's throat. He pulled back slowly until only the tip was in and watched as Bakugou struggled to catch his breath. "Are you gonna stop being a brat or are you going to make me fuck your throat raw?" Izuku asked, making a point by roughly snapping his hips forward once, making his lover gag from it being unexpected.
Katsuki looked up at Izuku with red, teary, drunken eyes before grabbing the base of Izuku's dick and giving him some God-like head. He let his tongue swish around it as he bobbed his head. He could feel when it entered his throat and he moaned each time for Izuku to feel it, hollowing his cheeks as well each time it went in. Izuku's mouth fell open as his hand gripped into blonde spikes to help him move his mouth back and forth on his cock. All until he pulled off of it with a satisfying pop. "I'll be good from now on. I promise, daddy." He moaned before spitting on the throbbing cock in front of him, sucking on the tip as he rubbed it in. Izuku covered his mouth to muffle a moan that was loud anyway as Katsuki squeezed the base of his dick. "Mmm~ But you have to promise that you'll actually play with me this time when we get home." Katsuki said, lips still pressed against the tip of his cock as he kitten licked it. "Baby boy... Is that what... Mmm~ what this was all about? You were upset because... Fuck~ we didn't get to... play earlier?" Izuku asked, his voice muffled as he kept the back of his hand against his mouth. Katsuki sucked the entirety of Izuku's cock back into his mouth and just into his throat as he started bobbing his head before humming his response. "Mhmm~" He answered, wanting Izuku to feel the vibrations from his throat as he looked up at him with eyes that were so innocent that Izuku would never, EVER, pair them with Katsuki. Those eyes... That expression was always so dangerous.
"F-Fuck, K-Kacchan!~" Izuku's eyes almost crossed, cumming almost too quickly. Though, they were in a supplies closet so it's not like they had all the time in the world. Katsuki almost choked. He coughed a little, but didn't outright choke as he rushed to swallow it all. "I'm... I'm sorry baby boy... I promise... As soon as we get home, I'll play with you as much as you wa-ant! I'm sorry that I didn't make time for you-Ah!" Izuku head jerked up with a gasp at the constricting feeling of Katsuki swallowing around him. When he was done, Katsuki pulled away slowly, still slightly drunk off the taste of Izuku's dick. Still connected by a string of saliva and cum, Katsuki looked up to Izuku. "Its okay daddy. I know that you're a busy man." Katsuki purred as he nuzzled against the slowly softening cock. But then a smirk took over his facial expression. "But I'll take a days worth of dick as payment anyway." Katsuki demanded. He was back to his demanding, confident self. Which instantly made Izuku go back to his shy, blushy self, trying to quickly cover himself while fumbling to pull his boxers up.
"K-Kacchan! I'm gonna get h-hard again!"

Here they go again. Couldn't keep their hands to themselves. Izuku had just stopped an attempted robbery. The two culprits were neutralized and handed over to the police. However, when Izuku left the area to proceed with his patrol, he ran into Katsuki, because of course he did. One thing led to another, and in the end, they ended up in a tight alley with Katsuki pressed against a wall with his legs wrapped around Izuku's waist while he teased the poor man's body. He grinded against the greenettes ever hardening erection and couldn't help the way he licked desperately into Izuku's mouth or bit onto his tongue. Katsuki had every bit of control right now. With Izuku's face flushed bright red, he could tell that much. Because Izuku couldn't do anything right now. He wouldn't have any control over anything until they were home, and Katsuki was going to abuse that power until he knew for sure that his chances of walking tomorrow were near zero. When he knew for sure that Izuku would just throw him into the bed and destroy him without any regards to his feelings. People didn't know this, and definitely wouldn't assume this, but Izuku was brutal in the bedroom. And daddy Izuku was the complete opposite of regular Izuku. One time, Izuku had gotten so worked up, that he had been a bit too rough on Katsuki's throat, rendering his voice usless for the next day and a half. Luckily for them, Katsuki was always yelling at people, so they didn't have to explain anything really. However, Izuku blushed horribly every time Katsuki attempted to speak near him.
Katsuki’s tongue traces the inside of Izuku’s mouth, desperate moans escaping down his throat as Izuku grinded against him so hard. So determined to get the best friction possible. Not like he could help the way he was grinding anyway. Katsuki had his legs locked around his waist, making sure that if Izuku let go for whatever reason, he wouldn't be able to move away from him. They were gonna stay locked together, lips and all until Katsuki decided to let go. And Katsuki didn't plan on letting go any time soon. Even if his lungs were burning and his heart was pounding against his chest from the lack of oxygen. Well, that was what Katsuki was thinking. Izuku pulled away just slightly to get a quick breath, but Katsuki was gasping and licking at Izuku's lips at the same time. "Fuck me~" Katsuki breathed out softly and Izuku moaned just at his boyfriends tone. "Later. Wait until we get ho-mm-" Izuku was interrupted by Katsuki's lips pushing hard against his again. Izuku had to jerk his head away, shifting his lustful gaze into a stern glare. "You're being a brat Kacchan." He warned. But Katsuki wanted to push him. "N-Now... Fuck, plea-Ah!" Katsuki needed this. Needed Izuku to get mad and horny. That's the only way Izuku could make it up to him the way he wanted when they did get home. "I said fucking wait!" Izuku emphasize his words as he yanked Katsuki away from the brick wall, but slammed him back onto it with just as much force.
Katsuki moaned loudly as he felt his shoulders get scratched up and the air be knocked right from his lungs. "Sh-Shit!" He cried out. He was getting him there. To that point of anger that he wanted. Now if he could just tempt him a bit more, he might just get Izuku to-
"Hero Deku! You're patrolling downtown today, correct?"
That made Izuku jump a little, having not expected it. He kinda forgot that they were at work... Well, he forgot that they had work to do at work. He looked at Katsuki, his glare saying everything it needed to before he pressed the small button on the ear piece. "Y-Yes, I'm here." He answered. He thankfully remembered to keep his voice down as he responded to the lady on the other end of the call. It would have been troublesome if anyone where to walk in this alley and see Pro Hero's Deku and Ground Zero in such a position in an alleyway in brod daylight. "Of course. I'll be there in less than five minutes." Izuku assured the dispatcher. Katsuki waited for Izuku to pull his finger away from the button before he let him out of the tight grip he had with his powerful thighs and let himself be put on his own feet. "Tch. Fucking cockblocking villain-agha!" Katsuki was suddenly gagging at the feeling of something being pressed against his throat. Izuku's fingers were wrapped tightly around it, choking him. "Keep being a fucking brat, and you're gonna need the next 6 fucking days to recover from how fucking deep my dick will pound you." Was the last warning Izuku gave him before jumping from wall to wall until he reached the top of the buildings. Then, he was gone. Leaving Katsuki to tend to his own boner, that jackass. And fucking threatening him like that, making it sound like he'd actually hurt him... "Tch! Fuck you Deku..."
__________
Home at last. They were finally starting their off time after a long, dragged out battle and a goose chase around the city. They requested to be healed with a quirk rather than just patched up and sent home, left to wait for the wounds to heal themselves. If that had happened, Izuku would have absolutely lost his fucking mind. Because he wouldn't have been able to slam Katsuki against the door frame of their house like he was now or practically shove his tongue down the other man's throat. They hadn't even fully gotten into their front door and Izuku was already trying to devour Katsuki's soul through a kiss. And Katsuki was all for it, knowing that he achieved his goal. Izuku was angry. Izuku was horny. It was time for him to give in completely. He knew that if he tried to fight or even show the least bit of defiance at this point, there would be obedience training. And Katsuki hated obedience training. He would be cuffed, gagged and laying exposed by a thigh spreader while Izuku taught him how a good boy should act. He didn't want that. He wanted to be able to touch Izuku, whine and moan out loud whenever he felt good, and get as many kisses as he could whenever he pleased Izuku and got praises.
Katsuki knew that he was falling into his sub space when he had that thought, and as always he gave into it. Giving up his control was never anything easy for him. But he couldn't wait any longer. If he wasn't being utterly wrecked in the next five minutes by this side of Deku that only he was allowed to see, he would cry.
"D-Daddy-" He gasped out as Izuku pulled away and instead started to kiss and nip at Katsuki's neck. Katsuki's voice had become lighter the deeper he went into his sub space and his hands clenched tight on Izuku's shirt. It was finally time to play. He'd been waiting for so long. "Play with me. P-Please? You said when we got home, we could play. Y-You promised." Katsuki whimpered as he barely got his sentence out before Izuku had fisted a hand tightly in his hair, yanking his head back to expose his neck more. "I did promise that, didn't I?" Izuku asked with a condescending tone. "Well, that was before you decided that you were gonna be a big ass fucking distraction for me today." He said before pulling at the skin of Katsuki's neck with his teeth, all while he finally lifted Katsuki's legs around his waist and brought him into the house. He skillfully held Katsuki with one arm and took the key from the lock and threw it somewhere so that he could lock the door after he pushed Katsuki against it to close it. "I-I'm sorry! I w-wanted your at-tention!" Katsuki gasped out before Izuku started moving him again. They didn't move very far though. Only to the couch where Katsuki was propped up on the back of it, causing him to arch forward and release shaky moans into Izuku's chest. "Ah? Did you hit the plug? You really kept it in like I told you to?" Izuku asked as he made his lover grind back and forth on the back of the couch. Katsuki nodded slowly as he took in shaky breaths, small whines escaping as well.
Izuku hummed as he watched Bakugou shiver in pleasure against him. "Well then, I guess I can't punish you the way I was planning to since you kept your plug in like a good boy... But you were so fucking bratty today that daddy's not willing to let it go." Izuku sighed. What was a not so harsh punishment for his baby boy? He stayed in thought for a few seconds before he heard another small whimper leave his blond lover. "P-Pay attention to me..." Katsuki begged, pulling Izuku impossibly close. He wanted Izuku's full attention while he was feeling this stimulation. Wanted the greenette to see him feeling good. Izuku got the perfect idea in that moment. Katsuki was always so hungry for attention, so touch starved. That would make for a perfect punishment. Give it to him. He lifted Katsuki once again, feeling legs get tight around his waist again as he moved. This time they went straight to the bedroom where Izuku gently sat Katsuki on the large bed, patting his head gently. "Get your clothes off baby. I'm gonna get us some toys to play with." Izuku said before turning away. He kicked his shoes off as he walked into their closet. He knew Katsuki would obey. After all, he's been asking for this all day. Maybe not specifically what Izuku was about to do to him, but it was a punishment. The only say so he would get is if he said the safeword.
They had an entire chest of toys that they used on eachother. Mostly toys that Izuku used for punishing Katsuki. Izuku was surprisingly the kinkier of the two and Absoulutely loved to torture the fuck out of Katsuki with toys. Lovingly of course, but he never did bother to go gently. When he came back, he was greeted with the sight of his baby boy already face down with his ass up presented towards the closet that Izuku was exiting. One of Izuku's favorite positions. It gave him the best view of just how much Katsuki was clenching around the plug "Beautiful." Izuku breathed out as he walked closer. He put the two toys that he chose on the bed beside Katsuki before gently placing two fingers on the plug and pushing slightly, causing Katsuki to moan softly. "Remember our safe word baby?" Izuku asked, though he knew he didn't have to. Safe word or not, Katsuki did nothing that he didn't want to. "B-Boom." Katsuki answered softly. Izuku hummed in response before tugging gently on the plug, watching as Katsuki's hole fought to keep it in. "Your ass is so greedy baby. Or is it just you being desperate for something to constantly fill your slutty hole?" Izuku asked, pulling the plug just a bit harder, but not enough to come out. Katsuki arched deeper into the bed, whining as he rolled his hips slowly. "Please." He begged.
Izuku obliged by giving a quick yank to the plug, a lewd pop sound and a cry from Katsuki meeting his ears as it came out. "Awe, you're so pretty when you're like this. Mewling out for me, showing me that sexy arch you've got, presenting this hungry gaping hole to me... Just listen to how wet this sloppy hole is." Izuku hummed as he slowly pushed two fingers knuckle deep inside of Katsuki, moving them around slowly. And just as he suspected, Katsuki's ass made lewd, wet noises as a result of the globs of lube that was squirted inside just a little earlier. Nice and wet. Perfect. "Now, we're gonna do a nice little simple punishment today because I won't last too long just teasing you. I need to be deep fucking inside of you abusing that sensitive prostate of yours or I might just go crazy, okay?" Izuku asked, spreading Katsuki just enough to get the vibrator in. As he pushed it in, he watched in pure awe as Katsuki's hole clutched greedily around it. "Fuck..." Izuku heard the small breath leave Katsuki's lips, and not even a second later, he slammed his hand down on pale cheeks, making Katsuki cry out.
"What the hell did you just say? Was that a bad word?" Izuku asked, spanking him again. "N-No!" Katsuki's body shook slightly, lips quivering as he braced himself for another spank. Yet he wasn't fully ready for it, as it was harsher than the last. "Mmm, now I have to make you cry." Izuku whispered tauntingly. Katsuki's head shook, but before he managed to say anything, the vibrator was turned on to the highest setting, causing him to bite his lip as he shoved his face into the pillow and let out a muffled scream. "Ah ah ah~ You know better than to hide those sexy fucking noises. You wanted to be a slut all day, and now you wanna act shy? No, too fucking late for that." Izuku said, delivering another harsh spank. "You might as well just let the fucking neighbors know how much of a whore you are, brat." Izuku then curled his fingers into Katsuki's hair, gripping tight as he hauled Katsuki up on to his knees. The blondes hips jerked sporadically as he tried and failed to get the vibrator to go deeper. But Izuku put it at just the perfect place. It wouldn't slide out and the only way it would go deeper was if Izuku pushed it there. But Izuku wasn't going to do that. Instead, he delivered another harsh spank as he pulled Katsuki's hair into a tight hold until the blondes eyes closed tight and he was grunting in pain.
Izuku was a bit sadistic when it came to playtime but Katsuki didn't mind. In fact, he encouraged it. He always made sure to let out extra loud moans after his daddy stopped, to show that no real damage had been done. And sometimes, he even chased the feeling of Izuku pulling his hair or choking him until he was desperately gasping for air. There were only a few times that Izuku had taken it a bit too far and left Katsuki actually shaken. But those times were just experiments. And he opted to never make those mistakes again. That's also why they now had the safe word. At first, Katsuki was determined, sure that Izuku could never push his boundaries, but boy was he wrong. Izuku turned out to be a way kinkier dom than he initially thought. After all, how else did you think a guy like Izuku could cut loose after being nice all the time. Not that he wasn't nice naturally, but sometimes he liked playing the other side too. So did Katsuki.
"Are you gonna prove that you're a good boy so that daddy can fuck you real good?" Izuku asked, gently rubbing Katsuki's ass. The blonde let out a low, shakey moan and nodded, humping the air almost violently at the pleasurable stimulation he was feeling. "Good. On your back, baby boy." Izuku ordered. Katsuki's shakey knees gave away the second he was allowed and he turned himself onto his back. His back almost instantly arched as he felt a callused hand grasp his hard cock and give a few rough tugs. Izuku laid beside him, propping himself up on an elbow, and Katsuki thought, no, he hoped that Izuku was going to jerk him off until he came, because he needed that so badly. And as Izuku's hand reached his tip to lather itself in the pre cum that was leaking from him, just to take his hand all the way back down to the base of his cock to lube it up, he just knew that Izuku was about jerk him off into the beginning of heavenly pleasure. "Please..." Katsuki whispered, bucking into Izuku's hand like wild and clenching so tight around the vibrator as the greenette sped up his hand. "D-Daddy... M' g-gonna c-cum~" The blonde whined, his hips spasming as he was brought so close to his end, but he never got there. His tease of a boyfriend decided to stop, leaving Katsuki panting and desperately bucking his hips.
"Y'Know, I always loved how soft your tits were." Izuku said, dragging the tip of his tongue just lightly across one of his boyfriends more than interested perky nipples and taking his hand away from the blondes cock to grab a handful of his other peck. "And how hard your pretty little nipples get~" Izuku purred, latching onto the sensitive pink bud and flicking it with his tongue. The blonde arched into it, loving it especially when Izuku started to twist and pinch his other nipple. He let out broken moans and shakey breaths any time Izuku would nibble or pull with his teeth, or when his fingers moved from his nipple to slide down his body, dance up his cock and lightly swirl around his sensitive tip. And the vibrator inside of him was so teasing, just barely deep enough for his wrecked walls to clench around, making him more desperate to please Izuku and finally get rewarded. It felt good, but it's not what he wanted. He needed Izuku to destroy him. He's waited all day. He's waited all week for this.
And now.
Now Izuku had the nerve to tease him?
Katsuki couldn't take it.
Izuku was too good at this. Too good at making Katsuki cry out with frustration as his body burned with desire. Too good at giving Katsuki just enough pleasure to drive him to the edge, but not quite tip him yet. It was all too much, and not enough at the same time. He couldn't deal with it anymore. Not tonight. He needed it too badly.
"P-Please." The blonde breathed out, giving up on trying to sit through the punishment. "I n-need you now... N-no more teasing... Daddy please~" He whined softly, a shakey hand grabbing Izuku's which was lazily tugging his cock at the moment. The greenette latched his teeth around the pink bud that he was teasing with his tongue and pulled it as he moved back, causing Katsuki to once again arch into Izuku. "Isn't this what you wanted though? You begged all day for my attention, but now suddenly you don't want it? You're really trying to test my fucking patience with all your indecisiveness aren't you?" Izuku asked, his hand slipping further down from Katsuki's cock to grab the vibrator. "N-No, I'm not trying to test your patience, I swear! If it was any other day, I'd take the punishment with no problem, you know that. B-But, I just need you so much right now. So much that it hurts!" Katsuki cried out.
Izuku licked his lips, his eyes dimmed with lust as he watch and listened to Katsuki. It was getting harder to hold back as he saw the fucked out expression on Katsuki's face, and they hadn't even done anything yet. Izuku's eyes panned over to the other thing that he had pulled out. "Yeah? And what is it that you want me to do?" Izuku asked as he began to thrust the vibrator slowly. Katsuki's lips quivered as he almost gasped in pleasure, his hips rolling to meet the toy. "Answer me little one. Use those naughty words and tell me what you want!" Izuku ordered with a harsh spank to the blondes thigh. Katsuki's eyes watered now, the pleasure, the heat, it was driving him crazy. "I want you to fuck me. Please, Daddy please! I learned my lesson, I swear! I know I don't have to act like a desperate whore to get daddy's attention, and I shouldn't be a brat when I don't get what I want! I'm sorry, just please ruin me already!" Katsuki cried out, sobbing at this point. And well, that's all the sadistic side of Izuku wanted to see. A smirk took over his lips as his hand worked in to overdrive, making Katsuki moan out louder than before and broken gasps to leave his mouth. "Oh Kacchan... You're so pretty when you cry. But now I want to hear you screaming~"
Izuku sat up and began jerking Katsuki off again. This time, with the addition of a vibrator being roughly thrusted against his prostate, he couldn't stop the harsh breaths or sporadic hip movements. And before he knew it, an orgasm was ripping through his body. Tears soaked his face as the pleasure of finally getting his orgasm after a day of holding back, and weeks of no sex before that, started to sink in. The harsh breaths that left him seemed to only to make it all worse since all his senses were filled with izuku. Izuku's musky scent, Izuku's touch, Izuku's breath on his body. "Remember when I told you that I bought a new toy for us to play with? Well, we finally get to use them. Look at these pretty nipple clamps I bought you. And they're red, just like your beautiful eyes baby." Izuku hummed before beginning to open the packaging. But Katsuki's mind was wrecked at this point. He couldn't think of anything other than the sex that he was promised. He wanted it now. "H-Hurry. Please-"
But he didn't get his plea out. For Izuku not only let the clamps snap close on Katsuki's puffy nipples, he tightened them so fucking much. Katsuki's poor nipples were turning redder by the second and it hurt so fucking much. So much so that Katsuki's begging increased, his tears became heavier, he arched forward and cried out for Izuku. Izuku then pulled the chain of the clamps until he could promptly stuff it into Katsuki's mouth. The blonde took the hint and bit down enough to keep it in, moaning at the way it pulled his nipples. "Fuck yes~ Such a good boy. So obedient~" Izuku purred, softly cupping Katsuki's tear covered cheek in his hand. He started to slowly drag a hand from his face to his chest. "So beautiful, Kacchan. And you're so wrecked for me." Izuku lowered himself to give a few soft kisses to Katsuki's hard abs. The one of many things that Katsuki's worked hard for. Toned abs, nice biceps, strong legs, and Izuku's second favorite, those nice sized pecks that he could easily grab handfuls of, nibble, and lick on.
Then finally, after all the teasing, Izuku stood and undressed himself, tantalizingly slow. Katsuki could feel himself salivating as he watched Izuku pull the shirt over and off his head and whined when he heard the soft thud of it hitting the floor. "I know you're excited Kacchan, but you better not let that chain fall." Izuku said, but Katsuki barely heard any of it. His ears hyper focused on the sound of Izuku's belt buckle coming undone. The sound of his long awaited fuck fest coming to him. He felt his dick throbbing, begging for more attention as he bucked into the air. Once Izuku's pants fell, Katsuki almost dropped the chain, wanting to beg again to get Izuku inside of him. But he held on, knowing this reward was too good to lose over something stupid. This was worth it. Izuku crawled back on the bed, lifting Katsuki's legs as he moved between them. Katsuki was whimpering as he felt the fat head of Izuku's cock press against his weeping hole and when he finally pressed in, all at once, there was a muffled cry.
"Fuck, baby boy! No matter how many times I pound this slutty hole of yours, I always feel I reach a new level of heaven every time!" Izuku grunted. Katsuki could respond with nothing but a moan as Izuku rocked his hips back and started a steady pace. Katsuki could feel his walls clenching tightly around Izuku, never wanting to let him out now that he had him. As Izuku hit a very sensitive place inside him, Katsuki threw his head in pleasure, only to arch forward and look back at Izuku with a whimper. "So you see what it's for now, huh?" Izuku asked, referring to the chain in Katsuki's mouth. Katsuki did indeed know why it was there. Besides the extra stimulation, Izuku loved attention just as much as Katsuki. "Don't take your eyes off me, baby. Watch me fuck you up inside." Izuku ordered, picking up the pace. The soft sounds of skin meeting skin became louder as the thrusts became harder, and Izuku was pounding right against his prostate so good. Hitting it at just the right angle and making Katsuki's legs tremble around Izuku's waist with every thrust.
Grabbing on to one or both of his pecks to squeeze or twist the nipple clamps.
Grabbing his hips so tight to help him drive deeply into katsuki and pound that special spot inside of him.
Leaning down to leave wet, open mouthed kisses on Katsuki's shoulder or neck and nibbling on his sweet spot.
But Katsuki still wanted more. He needed more.
Katsuki didn't mean to let the chain fall, really he didn't. But he couldn't resist much longer. After spending his off day on a mission and taking down low life after low life, Katsuki wanted to unwind the right way. So he let the chain out and spoke before Izuku could mention it. "U-Use me." Katsuki breathed out shakily. And the way that Izuku reacted should have been illegal.
The way he growled against Katsuki's shoulder.
The way he pulled away just to grab Katsuki by the throat.
The way he pulled out and pulled Katsuki up by his neck.
"I don't know what I was fucking expecting." Izuku growled. Katsuki could barely breathe with Izuku's hand being so tight. "You're never fucking satisfied unless I'm fucking folding you in half!" Izuku snarled as he squeezed tighter. Katsuki tried to speak, tried to wrench Izuku's fingers from his neck, tried to do anything to get Izuku to keep going. But all he could do was moan loudly. Especially when Izuku kissed his mouth roughly and bit at his bottom lip until it was puffy and sore, every moan being released into Izuku's mouth. "Yeah?" Izuku asked against puffy lips, as if Katsuki was speaking through moans. "You like it when I hold you and kiss you like this? You want me to fuck that brain of yours into a puddle of mush?" Izuku asked. Katsuki was getting light headed. He was struggling to breathe. Yet still, he found himself moaning in response. After all, it's been a while since he made Izuku like this. "You want me to pound this hole until it's a pool of cum, my fucking walking fleshlight?"
Izuku asked again, humping against the blonde but not thrusting back in. This time, Katsuki not only moaned loudly, but forced himself to nod. Fuck, he really wanted that. Izuku finally let him go and Katsuki fell back into the bed, taking greedy gulps of air and moaning loudly as he felt Izuku start moving him. His legs were hitched up, first to Izuku's shoulders, then to Katsuki's own chest. He thought he'd stop there, but Izuku kept going, pushing until Katsuki's knees met the bed on either side of his head, his ass lifted slightly off the bed exposed to izuku. Izuku groaned just looking at him, especially when he activated black whip and used the four tendrils to hold Katsuki in the position firmly. Knees held firmly beside his head and wrists held down by his hips, his cock dripping pre-cum up his torso. Izuku took this time to spread Katsuki open, watching his ruined hole clench around nothing again. "B-Back! Put it back in! P-P-lease!" Katsuki begged, half heartedly struggling against his restraints only to feel them get tighter. Izuku wasted no more time in thrusting back in, his hands finding their way to the headboard as he thrusted roughly. He showed no regard for Katsuki's feelings as he pile drived into him and he may have just activated one-for-all at 1 percent on poor Katsuki. But, well... He did ask for it.
Katsuki was now lost. Physically, he was there, getting his hole plowed into oblivion and being held down as if it were all he was good for. Mentally, he was in a void of pleasure where Izuku's cock continuously abused his prostate and did it so well that he could practically see it in his own head. When he felt the drastic increase in speed and force, Katsuki's filter for playtime went to hell. "F-Fuck! D-Daddy right there! Yes!" He sobbed, his hands desperately grasping for purchase. He was crying, gasping, shaking! And he fucking loved it. He loved when Izuku fucked him like he didn't care about how Katsuki felt. Made him sob in pleasure. Made him sore. He felt a very familiar tightening of his balls as more pre-cum spilled on to him. "I w-wanna cum, d-daddy! I wanna cum!" He cried, his loud moans probably being heard by the neighbors, but he didn't care.
Not when he was being fucked so mercilessly.
Not when his eyes rolled back and twitched.
And definitely not when he came so hard that it left him quaking.
He came all over himself, clenching around Izuku's cock like his life depended on it. Especially since the man in question was still thrusting hard and strong, like he couldn't care less about possibly overstimulating his sub. "F-Fuck, don't squeeze like tha-at!" Izuku grunted, clenching the wooden bed frame so hard that it began to crack and break in his hands as he fucked into his lover. "I'm gonna cum baby! Take all of daddy's cum like a good boy!" Izuku ordered, panting as he pushed fully in and came so deep in his now sensitive lover. Katsuki's eyes then screwed shut as he whimpered and panted at the feeling of being filled at such an angle, and Izuku's breathing was just as raged. All the villains he's chased down, and yet still, having sex with Katsuki was what winded him the most. They stayed like that for a while, letting it ride for as long as they could before Izuku started taking action.
He took his time removing his hands from the headboard to replace the tendrils wrapped around Katsuki's knees. As they pulled back into his body, Izuku carefully and slowly let Katsuki's legs relax and aided them back into their normal position until Izuku was sitting back on his legs and Katsuki's hips rested on his thighs. Katsuki hissed and twitched a little, but besides that and his breathing, he made no sounds or movement. Izuku continued being gentle as he massaged the back of Katsuki's knees for starters. "Kacchan? You with me?" Izuku asked slowly and softly to asses where the blonde was mentally at the moment. When red, glassy eyes met his through wet lashes and when he heard the whimper come from quivering lips, Izuku could tell the Katsuki was still in his sub space. Which meant the hot rags were gonna have to wait a while. He let Katsuki close his eyes again before speaking. "Okay baby boy. Play time is over so we gotta clean up and relax now." Izuku spoke in a calming tone to help Katsuki come down more from his high. He knew Katsuki would only ever go this deep in when he was feeling safe, satisfied, and tired. This was how Izuku knew he did a good job when they had 'play time' or when sex turned into such.
Izuku carefully reached above and to the side of Katsuki, going into the dresser and grabbing the wipes that were ment specifically for this occasion. He felt his blissed out lover jolt and whine beneath him just from that small movement and Izuku was quick to shush him as he moved back to his original position. "Shhh... It's okay beautiful." He spoke as he opened the pack. "I'm gonna wipe you down now." He began doing that, his hands careful and steady as he cleaned the ropes of sticky cum from Katsuki's upper half. He moved slowly around the nipple clamps and chain as to not stimulate him anymore, but even the slightest touches near them were sensitive to him after Izuku bit and sucked them so hard, just to finish them off with clamps. "You did so well today. So good for me." Izuku praised as he started to loosen the nipple clamps. Katsuki arched into it and breathed out a small, "Ngh... No more." He whines, his eyes opening to look at Izuku. "I'm taking them off, see? No more." Izuku assured him, the sound of the chain rattling offering Katsuki the chance to stretch a little bit without risking simulation.
Izuku took that time to use a wipe and gently clean the dried and the wet tears from his lovers eyes, cheeks, and chin. "So pretty... Are you ready for me to pull out yet?" Izuku's asked, massaging Katsuki's hips. The blonde shook his head and reached his arms out for Izuku. He wanted to cuddle, and Izuku couldn't deny him. So Izuku leaned down to let Katsuki wrap his arms around him before turning so the he was laying on his back, and Katsuki was laying on top of him. Katsuki shifted around a bit before settling and Izuku let out a content sigh as he closed his eyes. It would probably take Katsuki a while to come out of his sub space when he was this deep in, so Izuku was gonna use the time to rest. Though, not even a solid thirty seconds later, Katsuki spoke up again.
"Oi, asshole!"
Izuku opened his eyes and a look of shock took over his expression instantly. "K-Kacchan, that face is amazing!" Izuku exclaimed, putting his hands up in defence. Because above him, Katsuki's murder smirk, as he liked to call it, was gleaming down at him.
"I could have sworn I told you that I was taking a day's worth of dick for the bullshit you pulled earlier! So get it back up, now!" Katsuki demanded. "I can't just get hard instantly after something as intense as that Kacchan, it's impossible! And besides, you're the one who started it today, not me!' Izuku defended himself. Katsuki knew he was right but decided to ignore it. "Yeah, and? Don't act like you're not the one who just went crazy and activated your shitty quirks on me and, broke the headboard on top of that! If anything, I'm the one that should-" Katsuki stopped and gasped as Izuku bucked his hips into his still pretty sensitive ass. He smirked wider and looked down at Izuku who was trying his best to cover his, redder than a tamato, face. "Sorry, sorry, sorry! I just remembered what you looked like and I couldn't help myself! Kacchan looked so good..." Izuku started to mumble by the end of his sentence. "Oh yeah? You damn pervy nerd! I'm gonna ride you till your dick's numb!" Katsuki declared. "K-Kacchan no!"
It turned into 'Kacchan please!' then 'Kacchan yes!' very quickly. Infact, Izuku was hard again in twelve seconds. Katsuki knew his way around Izuku's body and kinks very well.
And he did indeed get his day... Well night, of payment.
