sharing your transmasc headcanons about female characters requires, like, 4 weeks of casing someone’s vibe. If everything checks out you can drop the batshit 40 page manifesto on top surgery allegory in the narrative. But you gotta make sure.
Hearing such a small voice shout “Bianca!” is absolutely HEARTBREAKING
Cause when I read the books, I understood that Nico was like 10-11 years old. Like I KNEW he was young…
But hearing how small of a voice that could’ve been Nicos in the show, only then did it truly made it click for me at how young he was when he went though EVERYTHING
Okay, but like, "making your main character misogynistic actually makes them more likeable because it gives them flaws" is... such a take. I don't even know where to start.
just saw the first two episodes of the percy jackson show and my inner teenager is kicking and screaming and crying with joy right now to see something that she enjoys and used to get bullied for finally be...alive?
like I've literally been crying for the entire two episodes not because it is sad or anything like that but because to me, when I was like 12ish the percy jackson books were my biggest source of comfort and my place to escape to when the world got too hard.
Seeing all the things that I could only imagine and dream of as a kid be realized in moving picture, faithfull to the books and so delicately put together by the author, it feels like healing.
