just saw the first two episodes of the percy jackson show and my inner teenager is kicking and screaming and crying with joy right now to see something that she enjoys and used to get bullied for finally be...alive?

like I've literally been crying for the entire two episodes not because it is sad or anything like that but because to me, when I was like 12ish the percy jackson books were my biggest source of comfort and my place to escape to when the world got too hard.

Seeing all the things that I could only imagine and dream of as a kid be realized in moving picture, faithfull to the books and so delicately put together by the author, it feels like healing.
