"Luci! You promised me you would sleep!"

"Ah, sorry dear. Just few more papers, I'll go to sleep."

You knew he wouldn't only do a few papers.

"Pfft, what are you gonna do? Pick me up?"

As he said smirking, looking down to you. 'Your just too short' He thought.

"Yes."

He flinched when he didn't feel his feet on the ground. He looked at you baffled. His face was red as his eyes. He didn't expect that!

"P– put me down now!"

"Awww, did someone's pride been broken into pieces by short little me~?"

You gave him a smirk, snarking at him. His face was so easy to read. He really thought you could do nothing because of your height? Oh he was so wrong. You went on the bed but did not let go.

He was confused. 'What special word?' He thought.

And Satan remembers when [name] picked him up." Lucifer told beel, as he glared at the laughing Asmodeus.

Yeah, Asmodeus didn't go unharmed well he did since he can't get his precious skin get damaged! but the area around him didn't.

Beware, this is a LONG post!!

TW: a lil' scopophobia perhaps

So, you know how there's a boat load of Welcome Home AUs floating around?

Well, now there's one more!! (And even more given some time!)

Let me introduce you to my first Welcome Home AU:

Children's Hospital AU!!

In this AU, all of our lovely neighbors are staff at the town's local Children's Hospital, which is officially titled the "Healthy Home Children's Hospital", or HHCH for short! This AU doesn't really have any spooky or funky elements to it, as I was pretty desperate for ideas that haven't already been done when I thought of it. Although, this AU does serve its purpose in being very cute and wholesome, and I'm sure that it could make for some fun content!

Characters and more info can be found under the break!

By the way, these drawings are not to scale! I just made them so that they would fit on the page :/

Anyways...

Let us first start with the Doctors!

Doctors Darling, Joyful, and Frankly have bested too many years of medical school and are now here to take care of their young patients! Both Dr. Wally Darling and Dr. Julie Joyful are physicians, and they can be found buzzing around the hospital, tending to whoever needs it! Dr. Darling, with his calm and cool energy, is more often assigned to older and more anxious kids. Dr. Joyful, on the other hand, is often tasked with the care of younger children and babies with her more energetic and sweet personality. Dr. Frank Frankly is the surgeon of the group, and he excells with his steady hands and his thirst for knowledge and for solving problems! Dispite his grumpy appearance, the children find him a joy to see when he checks up on them before and after surgery!

Next, we have the Nurses!

Nurses Sally, Barnaby, and Howdy help make up the back bone of the hospital, and they are always on their toes helping those in need! Nurse Sally can typically be found in the ER, where her quick feet and her sunny disposition are a must have, though she can be found bouncing all over the hospital! Nurse Barnaby never fails to put a smile on a patient's face with his funny jokes, and he is a dream when someone needs a distraction from a needle or anything else that may be frightening them! Nurse Howdy is extremely handy with his four hands and arms, making him an amazing multi-tasker! He is also a master of hugs, and he is wonderful with calming down particularly upset patients. He and Barnaby are also often called on the occurrence where a patient (or even parent!) needs restrained, thanks to their size and even tempers!

Lastly, we have those with more miscellaneous jobs!

Mr. Eddie and Ms. Poppy also have important jobs that help the hospital and its patients! Eddie is the HHCH's trusty mailman! He takes gifts and letters from the mail room and gift shop and delivers them to their recipients. As he knows the hospital's layout like the back of his hand, he also often accompanys visitors and volunteers, such as those who bring therapy dogs and such! He also takes extra care to dress up on holidays and other occasions! Ms. Poppy is an Emotional Consultant, and she is there to help patients and their families make difficult decisions, usually regarding treatment. Still the nervous bird that she is, she still tries to put on a brave face and a warm smile to those who need a little extra guidance or reassurance.

They're all colorless now, but I'll probably add that soon lol.

Also, I haven't designed Home yet, but I imagine he'd be the Headmaster of the hospital or something similar? I may give him a design later on.

Anyways, that concludes my first Welcome Home AU! Feel free to ask for any specific info that you want me to elaborate on, and feel free to use these silly dudes in your own fan content, given that it's not sussy (NSFW in the sexual way), and that a lil' credit is given! Otherwise, go ham!

a/n: Halu! I think its pretty clear now that I'm heavily inspired by music and so this came out after listening to Shayne Orok’s Renegade Japanese version! It gives late night drives vibes y’know. Also, I’ve finished World Trigger and omg, its so good, it was a bit slow but still, good. Anyway! I hope you guys like it, I honestly am not sure on how to react on this piece cause I tried writing it a bit differently. I also tried inserting comedic expressions and I'm not sure if I executed it well. Also, thank you so much for all those who have read my other writings! It made me so happy knowing that so many people have seen it.

The sound of clinking glasses and the smell of sweaty body were overloading into your brain. You told yourself that you wanted to know how it felt to go to a club, to experience the night life or so you say, but really you were just a curious introvert who read too much fanfics on mafia and bad boys.

So here you are, at a club somewhere in Roppongi, your dear friend has brought you. The face of disbelief and slow excitement was still fresh in your mind when you asked your friend, Haruki about it.

“so, I am curious”. Haruki’s eyebrow perked at your statement as she gestures her head up.

“about clubs. You know the ones you always told me about”. She gasps at your question, dramatically and slowly bringing her hands to her mouth.

“you’re asking me about clubs? You? The one who buries their nose in books?”. She fakes wiping a tear as she continues. You rolled your eyes, cheeks getting hot as you proceed to turn your body around but Haruki’s hand stops you.

“so you want to go to a club?”. You nodded, hesitantly and somehow deep in your heart, you believe this will lead to unexpected endings.

So here you are, wearing clothing you never thought you would wear and honestly, you feel the hottest you’ve ever felt. Haruki helped you choose your clothing and help you fix up your appearance a bit, giving suggestions here and there. Haruki told you minutes before that she was going to meet up with some friend first and then will come back to you, so you were left here, at the bar, drinking freaking orange juice.

Oh no don’t misunderstand, its not that its your first time drinking, its just that you’re a very light drinker. You remember the first time Haruki gave you booze and boy were you embarrassing. You shuddered at the memories but continue to drink your little orange juice. Your eyes scanning around the crowd, and you thought, its not really as exciting as the books have described. The music was so loud and the bass was enough to keep your body buzzing. The smell of alcohol was thick but indeed, there were a lot of attractive people.

Your eyes fell upon lilac hair, his eyes boring into the distance, legs propped wide while a girl was next to her, trying to give him drinks. Clearly the man doesn’t care and you were going to glance over him when his eyes caught yours. Realizing that he’s watching you, you quickly turn around to face the bar and held your orange juice, sipping it a bit.

Well, aren’t you a shy one suddenly? A mere glance from a man, a hot man and here you are jittery and shit. Now your head is glossing over texts over texts from the mafia stories you’ve read, all about the awkward main character going into bars for the first time and then catching the attention of some mafia lord. Nah, that can’t be happening to you.

And it did. Your shoulder was tapped and immediately you turn around, a scowl in your face, ready to bombard Haruki with questions. The Haruki in question is not actually her, but the lilac haired guy you were eyeing before. From up close, you can see how extra hot he is. His eyes were a brilliant lilac, long eyelashes, and that tattoo on his neck, somehow beautifully complimenting his looks.

“y-yes?”. He smirked as he sits down beside you, ordering two tequilas, after that he turned back to you.

“so, what’s a sweet little thing like you doing here”. Classic.

“I was just curious”. You muttered nonchalantly, as your eyes flutter at him.

“curious of what?”. He asked, as he push the tequila he ordered before to you.

“of clubs.”. you pushed back the tequila, his eyebrows perked at your action, you then explain.

“I don’t drink, or I will embarrass myself enough to jump off a building, so yeah no alcohol for me.” He chuckles as he pushes the drink back to you.

“Well, if you’re curious about clubs, drinks are one of its essentials you know, now drink up sweets.” You squint your eyes at him, challenging him, but his grin widens at your action.

“okay, how about I’ll show you something fun?”.

“you know, usually in this kind of situation, the drink is probably drugged up, and then… well never mind, or you’re actually a nice person”. You voiced out your concern as he laughs out loud.

“you’re really funny you know. I never thought I’ll meet someone who acts like this upon meeting me.” Upon meeting you? Whatever it is he’s implying, you still are quite wary. Without warning, he chugged up the tequila and asked the bartender to make you a new one, in front of you this time. You were baffled at his action and once the bartender was done, he places the tequila in front of you. You look at the tequila and then at the lilac haired man, as he gestures for you to go on.

Well, honestly, what could go wrong? Man’s was nice enough to give you tequila twice and so you closed your eyes and drink up, finishing with a soft sigh. Yeah, shit was good you thought. The man claps his hands softly as he gives you a thumbs up. You smile at him, somewhat happy at the possibility of making him proud.

“okay I drank your tequila, where’s my fun?”. He chuckles as he stood up and held out his hand. He gives you a serious look as he asks.

“do you trust me?”. Usually in this kind of scene, you don’t trust them but you took his hand and nodded.

“well if anything goes wrong, I’ll either die or you’re going to jail, so fuck it.” He nods and pull you out of the club, his hand lock into yours while he guides you to his car, a freaking Lamborghini, you know the ones without roofs, the one rich people rides. Yeah, that lambo. Now you’re freaking out inside because holy shit, who would have thought you’re speaking with a rich man. Though now that you think back, he looks expensive so, with a shrug at the thought, you are standing in front of the Lambo.

The man, who’s name you still haven’t gotten, opens the door for you and with a hand on your back, he ushers you in. Once he’s inside, you popped him a question.

“You know I think its about time I get your name.” He was starting the car when you asked the question, his head slowly turn to you with a shock look. He stares into your eyes for awhile and then shrugs.

”Ran. Haitani Ran.”. He said, eyeing you as if trying to gouge a reaction out of you.

“Ran.” You mutters the name, as you smile, finally getting to know the lilac haired guy, Ran.

“(y/n), its very nice to meet you Ran.”

“I thought we have established that”. He said as he pulls out the car in a reverse and drive through the streets of Roppongi. Your eyes glaze over the myriads of people, the colorful lights on the tall building and the starless sky. Excitement bubbles in you, as you feel the cool air whipping through your cheeks.

“its so pretty at night”. You whispered, Ran heard you and couldn’t help but smile at your wondrous eyes.

“your first time out at night?”. You nodded as you face him.

“I don’t go out much and my guardians were pretty strict so… yeah its my first time really. My first time of a lot of things tonight.”

“The club too?”. He asked, swerving the car to the right, going into a quiet lane.

“Yeah the club too. But I don’t like it though, the club. Its so loud and dark. Its too much for me I guess…”. He was silent for a while, you chose to look up the sky, you can finally see the stars, albeit a little.

“where are you bringing me? A place to plan my murder?”. You said jokingly as he laughs at your poor attempt of poking fun. “if I were to murder you, my dear (y/n), it would have been done before you could even think of it. So no, its not the place for your murder.”

You squinted your eyes at him, poking at his shoulder repeatedly. “That’s very scary Sir Haitani.” He laughs again, louder than before, glancing slightly at you with a smirk.

Goddamn he’s hot as fuck, thank you Haruki.

Throughout the ride, the both of you question each other, on your favourite food, his favourite song, on your favourite color, and his favourite time of the day. Surprisingly, the both of you share little to no resemblance each other, and here you thought you were living your Wattpad dreams. He likes the color purple— which was pretty obvious, while you like the color blue. You like Lana del Rey, he likes Chase Atlantic, there was no similarity, aside from the fact that the both of you share the same sky, and breath the same air.

Yet despite the differences, you feel calm and giddy around him, anticipations running through your heart at this man. You were lost in staring at his beautiful jawline when he stops the car, eyes, once again on you. He smiles gently at you, as he stood out of his seat and went over to yours, opening it and guiding you out of the car again. You gladly took his hand as he leads you forward, and in front of you were Roppongi.

You were on top of a hill, overlooking Roppongi, the scattering lights and the small bustling of cars could be seen. The scene was breathtaking as you laugh out loud and turn around to face Ran who was already looking at you. He has witnessed the puzzled look on your face, as it turns into a happy realization of what you’re actually seeing. He has seen how your lips curled up into an innocent smile and later to a happy grin. Ran could feel his heart beating, could hear it in his ears and he felt like a teenager once again. A teenager who learn the beauty and excitement of love and new beginnings.

“do you like it?”. Ran asked, nervous drenched in his words despite already seen how you reacted. He is still worried that you don’t share the same sentiment as he do.

“I love it Ran! This is such a beautiful scenery!I never thought Roppongi could be so … shiny and tiny”. You expressed as your hands went up in the air, gesturing how beautiful it is. You give him a wide smile as you squeeze his hand that was still holding yours.

“thanks Ran. I really appreciate the fun you’re showing me.” He chuckles, ruffling your hair at how cute you are. He then went back to the car and brought out a folding hammock, as he sat down at one end. He pats the sit next to him, telling you to sit down which you did. The both of you then share a silence, admiring the scene, admiring the presence of each other.

It was Ran who broke the silence first. “this is my fav spot you know. I never shown it to anyone before.” You turned around to face him this time, his gaze still straight at the scenery in front.

“so why did you show me?”. He shrugs as he replies.

“I don’t know, besides, I promised you fun right? And its fun, right?”. Ran gave you his attention now as you nodded. “Its very fun, the car, Roppongi at night, the hill, you.”

You could feel Ran’s thumb tracing circles on your knuckles as you lay your head on his shoulder. You were not really sure the ordeal you are in. Its such a weird experience, to suddenly meet a man, ride in his car, and now laying your head on his shoulder, everything was so unordinary yet it felt right. It felt like this was supposed to happen, tonight was going to be his and yours.

The warmth of Ran’s body, entangling with yours was just so right. The way he can hear your breath and the sounds of crickets accompanying the both of you. Ran himself were not sure what’s in the air, it felt pleasant. It has been a long time since he felt this calm and comfortable. He was really not thinking when he approached you, he thought you were hot and interesting so he approached you with bedding you in his mind. Yet the way you reacted to him, your way with words, the fact that you don’t know him and now he can’t get over the fact that someone like you exist. Someone who sees him not as a killing machine, a tool, a Bonten executive but as Haitani Ran.

He felt honored, touched even at you, because finally, after so long, he can breathe easy and not suffocate at the thoughts and title he bears. After a while, relishing in each other’s presence and watching the beautiful Roppongi, the both of you decides that its time to go back. You gave him your address as he drives you away to your apartment, again talking about the most random things. You noticed how easy it is to talk with him and how easily he flows with the topics you bring up.

Once you arrived, you finally realized how empty, yet warm your hands are. A pang of sadness settles in your chest, bubbling at the thought that you’ll never be able to meet Ran again. You sigh as your hand reaches for the door when Ran hand grabs yours. You look up at him, his eyes swarm with evident sadness and you give him a soft smile with a squeeze of his hand.

“ Can I… Will you… um”. He was stumbling around his words as you smile at him a bit wider, encouraging him. He took a deep breath and he bit his lip, contemplating on the right words. Who would of thought that the Haitani Ran would be stuttering over someone he just met.

“Can I pick up you tomorrow? For lunch?”. You chuckle at him as you place your hand on his cheek, in which he leans into. You were grinning now as you nodded. “Of course Ran, it would be my pleasure.” He was beaming, overjoyed at your acceptance which he thought was going to be rejection. Ran pull up your hand to his lips and kiss it, making you blush at the gesture.

You exit his car, numbers exchanged and with fond goodbyes and goodnights, the both of you went your separates way. You were overjoyed, your stomach is filled with every goddamn animal there is. You went into your shared apartment and upon entering, you were hurled questions over questions.

“where were you!! I was so worried, holy fuck, I almost called the goddamn police!”. Haruki was slapping your body as she continues.

“I keep on calling and texting and you didn’t reply to me! I thought someone have kidnapped your stupid ass!”. You then explain to her what happened and the worried and angry look she gave you before were replace with a gleeful look and a screech.

“So who’s the guy?”.

“I don’t know, some Ran… Haitani Ran I think.” Haruki was quiet all of a sudden, her face gone pale at the mention of his name.

“Do you know who that is?”. You shrugged, brushing through your hair as she tapped around her phone and then show you. Your mouth slacked open at the revelation of who Ran is and suddenly it all makes sense. Hikaru voiced out her worries and you honestly were worried again, because he was the goddamn mafia lord you thought you were not meeting.

You gave it some thought and come into conclusion that it doesn’t really matter. You know who you met, and whatever it was between the both of, it was happiness, calmness and realness. It’s okay if Haitani is some crazy ass gangster, you met Ran and you’re going to meet him again tomorrow. To hell with it, Ran is the risk you’re going to take.

How I got here

So I used to have another account on here years ago which I stopped using years ago. Something happened at that time where I had to make a new account (which is the one I'm currently using) After that I gave up and used Devinart for about a year or two. However, in my opinion, that app sucked because the app crashed all the time, and its not the best place to go to for 34 as there were a lot of haters in the platform. Let me just say I didn't really get nice words sent to me, while I tried to draw different characters and fandoms like what I do now, versus my best friend @anonymousartist1727 who paints all of the time, lots of people love her paintings (which she's my best friend and don't get me wrong and her paintings are AMAZING I love her art so much she's so freaking talented! ) but it made me realize Devinart wasn't really fit for my art “type” so I stopped my toxic relationship with Devinart and came back here realizing I left my newer account here unattended, so I was surprised when I got a notification from Tumblr saying “your account is two years old!!!” :D

Smg34 or ships in general:

But of ALL fandoms I have been really REALLY fixed on Smg4 and especially Smg34. I understand why some people think they’re brothers, but it was never said by Luke or anyone, plus there’s a lot more sussy gay moments between them vs being siblings moments. Also they have joked about it before- And yeah they look similar but that’s how it always was even with the Mario models. But this is my opinion and belief of that, the thing is if there’s a person who only sees them as siblings and in their head that’s how it is for them then that’s how it is. It’s their world not mine. And I respect that.

I'm starting a little something new.... Ai Review #1

Hello peeps, today is the start of my new series of posts called "Ai review" where I'll be reviewing text generation AI ranging from novel ais, chat ais, etc. Though I don't know much about the ins and out of ai, I think I know all the basic knowledge revolving ai. I'm doing this out of pure fun, so always take my review with a grain of salt, and remember everybody's experiences will differ. I hope this can shed light on some of the more obscure ai services out there. Todays selection is an ai site named "AiSekai", They claim that you can have deep conversation with the ai and they will remember your interactions. The model is their own but they do not specify the parameters. Overall rating: 8.5/10 UI design: 7.5/10 Character variety: 7/10

General features: 7/10

Nsfw Filter: No

Personality accuracy: 7.5/10 (This mostly depends on the creator)

Cohesiveness: 10/10

Fun factor: 10/10

It's very exceptional and works quite good. However, some UI elements aren't able to be removed so it kind of creates pointless clutter. Memory isn't awesome, but a lot of ais don't have good memory so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. it's very fun to talk to the characters as there is no filter to limit what I can and cannot do.

Overall very nice. It’s a very good alternative to something like character ai, so try it yourself and see if you like it!

I believe I found this one through a random reddit post, but so far, the UI looks pretty sleek and simple. So, there will be categories and features that I will be considering on rating 1-10 for general chat services like these.

Character personalities, cohesiveness, fun factor, memory, character variety, general features, ease of character creation, and does it have a NSFW filter?

Okay, lets get started. The first thing I can do right off the bat is search for a character I would know. Except, there isn't there any PGR characters or BA characters. There are some Hololive characters but not my oshis so mehh.

Well, overall, you won't be finding any obscure characters from any fandoms are here. And no Linh, there are no Brawlhalla characters. You'll probably be seeing a lot more genshin ais on here if anything.

Character variety: 7/10

Well, since this ai is named "AiSekai", I guess its appropriate if I chose a character from Prosekai. Lets see who's available. It's odd how when I search "Project", the characters appear but If i searched "Project Sekai", they don't appear.

I'll be choosing Emu as her personality is pretty easy.

There is a bit of loading screen for talking to the ai so its not exactly seamless.

The chat UI is quite nice so far, and the ability to edit and refresh is here but that's obvious. There's nothing new and groundbreaking, it's just your run of the mill chat ai. General features: 7/10

Lets start off with testing out her cohesiveness and how accurate the ai knows her personality. I myself don't know much about her, but I'll figure it out along the way. Lets start off with some general talking. Lets say I ask her what her favorite food is? Keep in mind, an ai can be good or bad depending on how the creator wrote the ai.

I guess my nickname is rice lover now. But she seems in character so far. I'll ask what food I like at least later on in the chat.

Lets move on to the big general issue. Filters. Lets see if this ai can generate NSFW stuff. In the reddit comments, they said there was no filter.

Okay, so acts of violence are allowed. So far, better than a few ais I've used. Although, it took a bit of time to generate, so maybe there is a filter going on, but at least it didn't tell me "Sorry, I cannot compute this act of violence."

Ahem, so maybe I should test up some more sussy ones. For educational purposes of course.

Wow, this really doesn't have a filter. Jokes aside, I did in fact test it.

It pisses me off I can't get rid of the recent chars tab, but never the less, so far the word ain't filtered. That probably means it can do a lot more. Also, yes, I did test it out properly... With Shrek of course and nsfw is possible. EDUCATION PURPOSES. Nsfw Filter: No (Which is good depending on the person)

Well, judging on these messages, it is pretty accurate with personality and it is cohesive.

Cohesiveness: 10/10

It's also very fun since there is no filter limiting me, so 10/10 it is. Fun factor: 10/10

After talking to Emu about Shrek and cooking, lets ask her about what my favorite food is and see if she remembers.

Aw, looks like the ai doesn't remember. Don't expect them to remember something from at least 10 messages ago! Memory: 6/10

Overall, the chatting experience is quite exceptional. This is a very very good alternative to Character.Ai. Lets check out character creation.

Lots of options that can help very much with the ai's personality and chatting quality. Unfortunately, some of these will be forgotten as along the line, the descriptions will most likely be thrown out. However, this isn't unusual as it happens all the time with chat ai services like these.

The fact that there is tags and a way to enable/disable nsfw is quite nice as it allows you to have a more streamlined search engine. There's a lot to customize and add. Kind of overwhelming since I don't create ais often. But so far, it looks nice and simple. Ease of character creation: 9/10

This is the end of this review. It'll probably get better the more I understand the guidelines and once I understand how to rate better.

Look at those instagram pictures, Sussie is getting married next month. And what about David? He's getting his phd in astrophysics, working and going to the gym meanwhile. But let me tell you about Morgan and Trixie, they are always on the go, concert to concert, country to country, and no place to belong. I wonder where their job and money come... Oh, did I tell you about Luna? She's in India on her own, living her free life without second thought and no remorse. Wish I was that brave. Look at her, everything looks so beautiful and so great! What about Tony, he just posted a picture from Tokyo, he's eating sushi and drinking sake with his group, such fantastic teamwork I see...

And I see. I see that we care about all of these things but then, suddenly, your child, your sibling, your mother, grandfather, friend or lover, dies. Then you wake up and feel sad because they don't get to see the sun rise once more. They don't get to smell the wild flowers blooming from spring like before. Nor, drink that wonderful tasty coffee you're taking for granted once more. They won't get to feel the sand and the cold of the waves trapping their feet anymore. Listen to that favourite song you hated with every fibre of your soul. They won't get to take a walk with you and the dog. And you won't get to listen to their voice, the sound of their heartbeat and breath, the warmth of their skin, the scent of their hair, the rhythm of their steps. All of it, is gone. It’s time to say goodbye to my favorite city. Not for long tho, but still, it’s an international flight.

I took a few hard minutes to choose what to bring with me on the flight. The music is recommended by my girl, so it’s easy, but the reading material…hard. At last I took “Le petit prince” with me. Now, this is an old book, which I first read when I was 10 or so. Been a long while since then. I can hardly remember the details of the book, just that it is a book for children and all.

Holy shit. How wrong was I.

My fucking god. The book hit me like a truck, straight isekai-ed me back to the past.

The book describes exactly the person that I have become. A fucking adult, with its monetary value and all that. A person who lost his “childish” imaginations and can now only measure stuffs in numbers and values.

What went wrong along the way?

This brings me back to a discussion that I exchanged with my girl’s ma. Basically her younger sister’s been very stressed. The fucking kid is 12 years old, and is already studying some 12 hours a day. What the fuck is that?

I told her to back it off a little. To “let children be children”. Her mom got a little sussy at first, but then agreed that she will find a way. I feel poor for the souls of those kids.

After all, where are we heading? The book reminds me of a time where I can describe a house using its declarations, colors and patterns. When “a house with floral tiles and beautifully decorated edges and corners” actually meant a thing. Now it’s all fucking numbers. “Oh that house? That is a big ass house, 1 million dollars” my fucking god what have I become?

That is not all. The book teaches me, again, how to feel. Why should we all rush? What is a few minutes of “free time” can do to us? So we can spend time procrastinating on some fucking TikTok bullshits? Life is about enjoying the moments. The moments of the first sunlight, where I am writing those lines, are one of such.

And why is everything so money-oriented? Why do we have to keep on making more and more money? Where is the time to enjoy the life that we live? The times with family and friends? Where is it? People keep on rushing to work, thinking they will achieve a thing in the end. But then they look back and think, damn, all that time…wasted. Nobody want to enjoy the moment anymore. Everything is rushed, faster and faster. Makes people crazy.

And another lesson for myself: learn to let go. The beauty of life is that everything is temporary. “The beauty of a flower lies in its ability to wilt” I usually tell people, but I myself forget that. The first love is always beautiful, because it always end. And in the process, we learn to experience, learn to move on.

The final lesson: “the eyes are blinded. Always feel with your heart.” This phrase, I usually say to my girl when we are cuddling. I want to feel her love when the lights are out, so that the visual won’t ruin our love. I myself never understood why I liked it that way. But now I know, all thanks to this book. It is because in the process of losing visual, we gain something else. We gain the ability to feel the world, with our heart. We hear things better. We can feel better. I couldn’t see her face, but I can always feel her heart beating next to mine. That is the experience that I love.

After all, I’m just a grown-up kid.

I don’t recognize myself anymore. First time I’ve ever cried so hard on a plane. Because of a book “for children”. I have changed so much that I hardly recognize myself anymore.

Maybe this whole article is for the inner child of me. He loves to feel. To live the world with the heart. I shall do as such.

Oh and of course, must not forget my girl. So here goes:

You know what I think is fascinating about the MF theory is that is opens a lot of doors to ask a lot more questions about the nature of the barrier between Hawkins and the UD. Like, idk maybe I'm getting conspiracy brained here, but we get a lot of confirmations throughout the show that the barrier between Hawkins and the UD is thinner than anywhere else on the planet: literally took our characters to Russia to confirm it without a doubt that no matter how many times the Russians blasted a high powered beam of energy at a wall no portal ever opened right and the second half of the puzzle was Hawkins and Victor saying that the town is being haunting by a demon- which is a weird line to insert given he had been obsessed with his "home" being haunted.

The strange thing is theorizing on how the MF even "chose" or "contacted" Henry in the first place. The whole creel story started out with the fact that they *moved* to Hawkins when all the weird shit started going down. If the barrier was strong back then, then how did the MF have an awareness of what was going on above in the Creel home and then to even except enough influence to screw with their lights and connect itself to Henry? Also Brenner in the Hawkins lab was already operating in Hawkins it seems so it makes me think that the barrier has been thinning even before Henry became a major player, he was just the MFs first "chosen one" for a lack of a better term.

And it's just all so sussy. TO me at least. I definitely take this over Henry being the big bad because big scary cloud go brrrrrrrr and I love it.

The whole fandom forgot the confirmation from the Russians that the UD has a specific connection to Hawkins and thus the gate to the UD could ONLY be opened in Hawkins.

I don't think the barrier was ever particularly strong in Hawkins, personally. I don't think that was ever what the canon was trying to suggest. Rather the opposite, actually. I'm sure the duffers have a lot of unrevealed lore about the town and why its so special in that regard but personally it reminds me a little of myths surrounding the Bermuda Triangle and other legends of similar "vile vortices" that are suppose to describe anomalic regions on earth where inexplicable phenomena occurs, presumably put down to some sort of "wrinkle" in space time, some kind of weird wormhole through space/time or entrance to another dimension or some cursed gateway that was brought into existence by some terrible thing happening or just generally some cosmic failure like myths about the stairways to hell and all that kind of stuff. Like the way we're shown how the compasses go stupid when close to areas around Hawkins were the Upside Down is pulling through remind me a lot of that type of mythology.

Personally, thats where I've been drawing inspo from so I really wouldn't be surprised if the Duffers actually are doing the same.

Whatever the case the Duffers have been taking inspo from popular horror and sci-fi, particularly from masters like H.P Lovecraft and shit so there is no way the Mindflayer is just a random cloud and Stranger Things isn't perfectly at home in the eldritch horror genre. Sure things can all easily be viewed as metaphoric for something more mundane and arguably more terrifying, but that doesn't mean evil entities and scary alien monsters aren't the "big bads" of the damn show and that this hasn't always been a thing since day one, nor that the introduction of some kid who got fucked with bad by these beings means the show isn't actually about these things and is just about an autistic coded kid who is just evil for the lulz. Thats not only stupid as hell, its pathetically unimaginative. And ST is not a stupid, unimaginative show, imo.

Context for House of Cards was that Sussy Civil War comic was doing MASSIVE numbers in the comic book box office! So Archie HQ saw it and then grabbed that hedgehog by the neck and went "Do that. NOW!" So then ppl were scrambling to find a way to make Sonic and Tails fight, since they were the two specifically requested to fight since they were from the games and also close friends and shit! So then they were like "oh hey we're trying to make this 'morally ambiguous' and shit just like the marvel bitches" so naturally. Politics YIPPEEEE!!! Since the Kingdom of Acorn was a monarchy. Easy. Introduce democracy. Boom. well how do we drive a wedge between besties/brothers?? Okay read through the previous issues any developments that can be taken advantage of?? (reminder this is still very sudden and had to be done in only a few issues, meaning the scope can't be too big or anything) Hey look Tails's parents from space. Okay from the sonic in space arc (that u didnt read like a LOSER!!!!) we know that the aliens from that planet are very logical and all that. So it must track that they have a democracy too! Okay lets say the Prowers want to establish a democracy for the Kingdom of Acorn too. Time is ripe since veryone has settled into New Mobotropolis and Elias is still a lil bit of a sussy king so far! And ofc Tails is gonna side with his newly accquired parents. Which means Sonic defaults to being a bootlicker horray! But why the fuck, you ask? Well you have to remember here that Archie Sonic and Normal Sonic are two very different beasts. WE know that Max is a little piece of shit, but in universe, the goal after defeating Robotnik has always been to get Sally's dad back from gay baby jail. And subsequently, this restores the rule of the Kingdom to its "rightful monarchs" or whatever. The people with the highest stake in this, and therefore the most supportive, are Sally and Sonic. Sally for. obvious reasons, and Sonic because his whole family worked for the Acorns, moreso than Tails or Antoine's parents did. The personal conflict between Sonic and Tails hinges on how Sonic T. Hedgehog has. maybe been treating Tails kinda like shit. Yeah the Fiona stuff is lame as hell, but apparently one of Sonic's motives in getting with her was so that Tails could play the hit video game Getting Over It (trademark). OBVIOUSLY that did jack shit, and only fucked up Tails more. But ALSO the Anti Sonic shit, along with Sonic literally being presumed dead as hell for a year, and the old writers not really writing Sonic very well all adds up to Tails not feeling like he can trust his bro, and Sonic being. pretty different than how he is in the games! So aside from all that, the arc was also a way to bring Sonic's character more in line with that of the games. Yeah even with all the context and shit I said it still does feel kinda ooc, but like. We already knew it was. Anyways cant believe i wrote a 500 word essay about an arc of a sonic comic <3 this better send or i will shit and scream and cry

Once again you made my day feels better because I was really struggling with mental breakdowns, and kind of disappointed by the lack of feedbacks since I am really insecure and overthinks a lot about my works 😭 I squealed while reading your beautiful words bcs it always reminds me that I gotta do what I do despite the trouble with motivation. At this point, everyone seems suspicious since each of them have a secret to hide ~~ And yass, Serena and Jungwon would be a powerful siblings duo indeed, if only Serena told him the truth from the beginning 😔 Jay is also keep on levelling up his ✨rizz✨ bcs I figured that would add a little bit of spice and sugar with balance to the thriller and mysterious vibes.

I did think about how far I want to go with the length of "Siren" chapters. But so far, I'm just going with the flow, bcs I'm the type that is spontaneous with free-writing and see how it goes within the updates due to my random burst of spontaneous energy. But maybe it might be a bit long because I thought about publishing it on my wattpadd account. Despite my spontaneous idea while writing, sometimes, I also like to have the difference and planned about what I'm going to write with details. For "Siren", there were chapters that I planned with details which goes up to 6 hours and above, and chapters that I just spontaneously write in less than 3 hours. I want to talk about this actually on my feed but I barely got any interactions so I think like "ahh, maybe I don't really have to do that" because it might seemed like I'm full og myself lol.

author’s note: ok...wow, where do i even begin ???? this project will always hold a special place in my heart and i will genuinely never forget the journey i have come on with this. the clocks changed here in the uk, and i somehow woke up at 6am and told myself, i WILL finish snapetober today. and here we are !! after 31 days of writing, late nights, early morning last minute write up, a lot of tears, a lot of me talking to myself in the mirror like a blithering idiot, this is finally done !! its over, and im quite sappy about it but looking at the complete book of oneshots i've made,,,makes be unbelievable happy. i sobbed finishing this oneshot up and i am still crying now SHDHSHJF,, i literally cannot believe snapetober is over and i finished this book !!

you were asleep in the bed you shared, stirring awake as you looked at the scene that unfolded before you.

you looked at the cot, your daughter sleeping deeply and then to your left you saw your husband.

you sat up and pecked kisses all over his jaw and his cheek, which slowly and surely woke him up.

“good morning my love.” you said.

“morning y/n.”

you both shared a morning kiss, you shifted slightly so that now you were on top of him, resting your head on his chest perking up here and there.

“did you sleep well my love?” you asked, severus nodded which brought a smile to your face.

you placed kisses all over his face and placed a small kiss to his nose.

“what on earth are you doing my dear?” he asked.

“just showing you how much i love every part of you sweetheart.” you answered.

severus didn’t argue, he let you do so. in fact it warmed his heart that you loved him this much.

your chin laid on his chest as you played around with his hair, letting it fall into your grasp. in the moments where you got some peace and quiet, you were both very close in each other’s touch, in a comfortable and poignant silence as you both held each other.

“you’re so beautiful y/n, my little kitten.” he said.

“kitten huh? you haven’t called me that one in a while.” you perked up.

“it simply rolls off the tongue so well, especially with you.” he admitted.

you giggled as you brought your hands to his cheeks.

“so you want to play this game hm? i’ll admit to you, you’re so amazing. juggling so much in just one day, i couldn’t be more proud of you.” severus said.

you giggled and your smile grew bigger.

“you’re such a good girl…hm?” he teased.

you sunk into severus’ hair, hiding away your thoughts.

severus’ fingers laid on your chin bringing them up so you both looked into each other’s eyes.

“what are you thinking of my dear?” he asked.

“you…”

“you’re always thinking of me.”

“i always will.”

you both shared a kiss, more deeper than the last one. you both heard sapphire making noises in her sleep, you both turned to her as your intimate moment was undoubtedly cut short.

“time to get back to our duties.” you said, pouting slightly as you wished for this moment to last.

you got off of severus’ body, getting out some clothes from your wardrobe. you had to go to hogwarts today, you were a visiting teacher at hogwarts. with the new roles of mum and dad obviously being handed to you by life, you split severus’ very stressful and chaotic work schedule between the two of you.

today you had to go into hogwarts, you wanted it to be the weekend everyday but unfortunately you couldn’t control time and you had a job to do.

you put on your work clothes, grabbing a hold of severus’ cloak and wrapping it over your body.

every time you put that cloak you always found yourself to be the most confident woman on earth.

“you know what that means don’t you?” you asked.

“i’ll be home with sapphire.” your husband answered.

“you’ll be fine with her right?”

“of course my love, i’ll call for a patronus if anything goes wrong.”

“you know what time to give her, her bottle right?”

“of course.”

severus left you to get yourself ready, he went to your bedroom who picked up sapphire who was wide awake by this point, giggling when she was in her dad’s arms.

the fact that severus knew what the routine was, put you at ease. you grabbed a hold of your bag and adjusting the cloak.

“right then, i’ll be off…have fun with her alright.” you said.

“i will my dear, have a good day. i love you.” he left a kiss to your head and you returned the affection back to him.

“i will…i love you too.” you said before leaving and apparating to hogwarts.

“be a good girl for daddy.” you said to your baby daughter as your kissed her head and left the home

severus looked up at the clock, it was almost eight.

he heard sapphires cries which deafened the whole house. severus had calmed her down, rocking her up and down gently.

he whispered little affirmations to her that calmed her down and left her babbling and giggling.

“come on sapphy, lets get you some breakfast.”

severus put out the baby food on the table and fed sapphire who had been slowly obeying her father and eating her food.

once breakfast was over and down with, he held sapphire in his arms and closed the kitchen door, now he was in the living and he put sapphire down and he sat down at the nearest arm chair.

he watched sapphire crawl around on the floor, soon her attention was grabbed by the fluffy teddy bear within arms reach. she had been waving it around for quite a whole and biting on the stuffed toy for a bit. severus looked down at his daughter with the toy in her mouth.

“now now sapphy, you shouldn’t have that in your mouth.” severus said softly, gently taking the teddy bear out of its misery and putting it on the window sill. he then sat back down and got back to reading his copy of the daily prophet.

but the reading was cut short as he looked at sapphire who was trying to stand up on her own and then her fingers reached up to the daily prophet.

“what is it sapphire?” he asked. sapphire had been babbling for a bit, he then smiled and put the newspaper down.

he went to the ground and helped his daughter try to stand on her own two feet. for a baby, sapphire was shockingly clever, being able to stand on her own for at least a few seconds before falling to the ground again. but luckily for sapphire, she never fell. her father was always there.

“keep still for daddy. there we go.” severus eventually let go of her hands, sapphire squealed excitedly before almost stumbling forward but luckily severus caught her just in time.

sapphire giggled loudly as she looked up at her father’s face of relief. “you scared me there princess.” he chuckled when he saw her smile.

severus kissed the top of her head, lifting her to her playroom where she had the freedom to do whatever she pleased. severus looked around the room, a smile laid to his face as he looked at the toys that laid all over the place.

sapphire crawled to the huge fluffy swan that was in the corner of the room. she tried to slowly stand up without her father’s help but babbled when she found herself struggling, severus rushed to her and helped her up, soon she found herself flopping onto the fluffy swan.

the swan happened to be your patronus, so seeing sapphire so attached to his melted his heart. severus knew that sapphire’s patronus would be just like her mother and father’s.

sapphire went back on all 4’s and crawled away from her father.

“sapphire! princess come back.”

sapphire was trying to crawl away from her father but he slowly caught up to her and then begun to chase after her as slowly as she could.

“got you princess.”

severus caught onto her ankle and sapphire squealed, her hands on severus’ chest as she giggled away. sapphire’s laughter was all severus could hear, it warmed his heart that this was what he would wake up to on most days.

as time passed, severus managed to feed her once more. giving her the bottle of milk at your request.

once sapphire was well fed, it had been another round of playtime to which severus decided to play hide and seek. he had been so focused on his daughter, he didn’t hear you sneaking right into the home.

“sapphy, where are you princess?”

you heard your husband’s voice, he was trying to hold back his laughs. you leaned on the doorframe, watching your husband become so gentle around sapphire.

severus found his beloved daughter and attacked her with tickles until she had no giggles left in her.

“well looks like you’re having lots of fun.” you said, approaching your favourite people. severus’ brows furrowed and his cheeks became flushed, like he was caught doing something.

“welcome back my dear.” he pecked your lips and you took sapphire from his grasp.

“looks like you’re daddy’s little princess huh?” you cooed at your daughter, kissing her cheek and sapphire soon fell into another giggle.

“she’s a mummy’s girl, she was crying for you earlier.” he said.

“aww sapphy, mummy and daddy’s always here for you.” you cooed to the girl again.

“m-mamma.”

you both looked at each other in absolute disbelief.

were you hearing that correctly?

“sapphire, where’s mummy?”

sapphire’s hands were now on your face.

“mamma, mamma.”

you bursted into fits of giggles.

“what did i just tell you?” severus said, you both knew that sapphire will get round to recognizing her father soon, and that would be very quick.

“her first words, sev! can you believe you’ve just heard her first words?” you said.

severus was still in shock that he got to witness such a precious moment.

“she’ll find daddy soon, isn’t that right princess?” you said. sapphire only giggled.

you looked up at severus with a warm smile, and severus smiled back. kissing the top of your head, all three of you were on the floor as you were both in utter bliss that this was your daughter.

like you said, she was going to make the both of you very proud.

“mummy mummy, look what i made!”

you had been downstairs in the potions lab you had finished making batches of calming draughts and you had done so for quite a while. so seeing your daughter sapphire made you a little bit too aware of how much time had gone past.

“sapphy sweetie, hello! why don’t we go upstairs eh?” you suggested, sapphire obeyed as she watched you clean up the potions lab, she was in such awe over how quick you managed to clean the room up.

“i’m sure daddy will teach you that soon!” you said, you grabbed a hold of her hand you went upstairs and sat her down on the sofa.

“sapphire, remember what did we say earlier?” you asked.

“not to go to the potions room.” she answered, letting out a small pout.

“good girl, you’re still very tiny and anything can happen in there and we don’t want you…to turn into a mouse!” you said tickling her sides as she then let out a squeal of laughter.

“mummy!” she squealed. you both laughed away, you were right though. you didn’t want anything to happen if she had gone into the potions lab without yours or severus’ permission.

“now what is it you’d like to show me?” you asked, sapphire unravelled her piece of paper. what was before you was a plan of the living room.

“its almost halloween, can we paint the house?” she asked, you couldn’t help but let out a giggle.

“well we can’t paint the whole room orange, though i will admit the house does need a little retouching.” you said.

“although i do have a better idea, come with me.” you said, gesturing your daughter to follow you.

you went to the cupboard under the stairs and turned to the room opposite the potions lab, you picked up a box and you opened it in front of sapphire. she picked up the decorations and smiled.

“yes! yes! mummy these are perfect!” the 9 year old happily replied, you did nothing but watch her get excited over these decorations.

“come on, lets go put them up. we can surprise daddy with it!” you offered, and sapphire nodded.

you helped her put up the decorations in the living room, you had put on some muggle music to help her get into the halloween spirits. she giggled and started doing little bops here and there.

it wasn’t rare of you or severus that you also made her accustomed to the muggle life. since you and him were both half-bloods, you both had a duty to cherish and protect her from all sorts of harm from the wizarding world the muggle world.

“mummy, what’s daddy’s favourite song?” sapphire asked as she was putting miniature bats all over the house.

you knew this answer, and it made you smile even more knowing how intrigued she was.

“well…daddy’s favourite song is also my favourite song too, would you like to hear it?” you asked.

“yes yes yes mummy!” she nodded and that prompted you to go to the music player and put the song on.

“loneliness is the cloak you wear, a deep shade of blue is always there…” sapphire looked over to the music player.

“that’s daddy’s voice!”

“the sun ain't gonna shine anymore, the moon ain't gonna rise in the sky. the tears are always clouding your eyes, when you're without love, baby.” then she heard both of your voices together.

“mummy that’s you!” she giggled.

you and severus always wanted to share that song with sapphire, you obviously beat him to it. but to make it even more special, you and your husband made a special recording for sapphire so that it would always make her happy, and would cheer her up at her lowest points.

“the sun ain't gonna shine anymore, the moon ain't gonna rise in the sky. the tears are always clouding your eyes, when you're without love!” you both sang as you fell to the sofa taking in your now newly decorated living room giggling away. and as if by chance, severus had arrived back home.

“daddy!” sapphire squealed jumping into her father’s arms.

you smiled warmly at your husband who had gotten back from hogwarts.

“i see you decorated without me…you both wound me my girls.” he dramatically pressed his hands to his chest and the both of you giggled away.

“welcome home sev.” you said pressing a kiss to his cheek.

“you showed her the song.” he picked up that the recording of you and him singing was playing around the house.

“looks like i beat you to it sevvy.” you giggled kissing him again, both your attention turned to your daughter who had been begging for a little halloween party.

to which neither of you couldn’t say no.

“daddy, you’re supposed to be something for halloween.” she said.

“what’s wrong with my costume sapphire?” he asked raising a funny little brow at her.

you quickly got changed into a quick costume. you slid down the banisters of the stairs and showed your little family the costume you had.

your cheeks heated up, giggling and hiding your flustered state in his hair. severus hugged you from the side as he looked down at his daughter and hugged her too.

it wasn’t a party party so to speak, but it was something that made sapphire happy. you and sapphire both danced away whilst spooky music was playing in the background. severus watched the scenes unfold and he couldn’t help but join in.

even if he did have two left feet.

sapphire giggled at what looked like severus’ little jig, severus lips curled into what looked like a smile. you smiled at your husband who looked like he was having a good time.

after what seemed like hours, sapphire had been exhausted and fell asleep on the sofa. she was laid on your lap as you and severus both decided to flick on a movie to watch together.

“i’ll take her to bed.” you said as you carried your tired 8 year old to her bedroom. you tucked her into bed and kissed the top of her head.

“sweet dreams my love, we’ll see you in the morning sapphire.” you whispered before putting one of her teddy bears beside her before you turned on the night light and closed the door on her.

“did you turn on the night light?” severus asked.

“yep.”

you both inevitably relaxed on the sofa, you put on a fantasy adventure movie. your preferences were no doubt completely in sync with one another.

you beamed when the title screen had come on, you were watching robin hood: prince of thieves with him.

bizarrely, severus actually liked this movie. it was the first muggle movie that he had watched with you, he was completely hooked onto it with some of the dialogues from the script still stuck in his head and the ongoing debate that severus must have been an actor in a past life.

“locksley! i’m gonna cut your heart out with a spoon!” you both recited alongside the movie, falling into laughter.

“see look, the sheriff on nottingham is basically you. its so uncanny.” you said getting up and pointing to the screen.

“darling i’m telling you there is no way i could be him.”

“you look like him.”

“no i don’t.”

“yes you do.”

“no i don’t.”

“yes you do.”

“no i don’t.”

“yes you do.”

“no i don’t.”

“yes you do.”

“no i don’t.”

“yes you do.”

you bickered a little on this topic for more than 10 minutes before eventually you continued to watch the movie

“why a spoon, cousin? why not an axe?”

“because it's dull, you twit! it'll hurt more!”

you both recited again wholeheartedly. you couldn’t help but let yourself relax in severus’ arms as you watched the movie go into absolute chaos.

when the movie ended, you lazed around on the sofa as severus held you in his arms. he looked around the house for a moment, drawings that sapphire had done were all over the walls as the halloween decorations accompanied it alongside. it was a pleasant sight for him to always come back to.

“you know y/n, you are a wonderful mother…and i’m so proud of you.” severus said, kissing the top of your head as you then looked up to him and smiled.

“you’re a wonderful dad.” you replied.

you sat up slowly and kissed him softly, as you both pulled away from the kiss as the house fell into a comfortable silence.

“she’s gonna make us proud that one.” severus said.

“oh just you wait till she comes to hogwarts.” you said, winking at him as both shared a few laughs and kissed each other once more.

“i love you severus.”

“i love you too y/n.”

new things had been happening for the snape family. you would be starting out as the new muggle art teacher, severus was back in potions and had applied to also become the defence the dark arts teacher but again, failed at the hands of gilderoy lockheart.

but aside from that, your daughter sapphire tatiana snape was starting hogwarts. you couldn’t have been more happier.

but you knew that sapphire would face a few hardships here and there, you reassured her that if anything were to happen to her, you instructed her to come to you or your father and they would help her till the very end.

“sapphire go to the front here, i’ll be at the table with your dad okay.” you said.

sapphire nodded and stood at the very front. you went to the front table and saw the new defence against the dark arts teacher.

“oh hellooo there, we have a new flower blossoming here…” gilderoy approached you.

“gilderoy…” his name left great disgust in your tone.

“ah she knows my name. and who might you be?”

“y/n, y/n-”

“snape.” you turned to see your husband, who just so happened to finish the sentence.

“y/n snape.”

gilderoy gulped slightly, looking at the couple.

“shouldn’t you be in dumbledore’s office signing your entire life away to hogwarts?” you quipped.

“very well…i should be going, nice to see you both.” gilderoy choked out before walking away.

you looked up at your husband and let out a giggle.

“what a blithering idiot.” you muttered.

“he won’t last two seconds here.” severus said.

“does anyone in the d.a.d.a post ever last more than 2 seconds?” you said.

you both giggled to yourselves as you both made your way to the front, looking at the great hall filled with kids.

as the new 1st years got assigned to their houses, you both eyed sapphire who had been fiddling with her jumper. anxious to see what her predicament would be.

“sapphire snape.” minerva called.

you stepped forward, your fellow 1st years muttering things about the girl. they hadn’t a clue who she was and what her goals were but it made them ever curious.

“slytherin!” the sorting hat called without any hesitancy.

the students in the slytherin table cheered and applauded. even you and severus stood up and clapped for your daughter who had been greeted and congratulated by the many students surrounding her.

you both looked at your daughter who happened to wave at you, you and severus waved back with pride.

she was going to be a great addition to slytherin and the pair of you knew that anyone who hurt her would eventually have to deal with them.

with both her mother and father teaching at hogwarts, sapphire snape was the unstoppable girl.

she would not be beaten.

sapphire looked over to her mum and dad who were just about to head out to their own classrooms.

“mum, dad! wait up!” she called, you and severus both turned around and saw their daughter approaching them.

you perked a smile and let her join you. some of the students in the other houses were in absolute disbelief that severus snape had a family.

severus snape…the potions professor…had a life?

to them that was uncalled for.

“who was that getting all weird with mum?” she asked.

“that is unfortunately your new defence against eh dark arts teacher…gilderoy lockheart.” you sighed, severus didn’t even bother saying his name considering he literally took the job he wanted.

“he was getting all cozy with you mum.” she muttered.

severus only chuckled at the worry his daughter had. she was most definitely a mummy’s girl.

always have been.

“don’t worry sapph, your father here took care of it.”

“you stood there and it was enough to make him run away.”

“i told you, i’m the scariest thing there is.”

you and sapphire giggled, ruffling her hair and accompanying her to the dorms.

“are you sure you’ll be fine here?” you asked.

“yes…maybe…” her expressions soon turned little as she begun to worry about the year ahead.

“come, lets go to dad’s class. he’ll make you the best lemon tea there is!” you offered.

that was enough to put a smile on sapphire’s face, the three of you went to the classroom and there severus was, brewing a lemon tea for his favourite people in the world. severus was never one to pick favourites in his life but of course, if you or sapphire were mentioned he would pick the both of you in a heartbeat.

“now what’s on your mind sapph?” you asked, both you and severus paid very close attention to your daughter who had been very anxious about hogwarts.

sapphire explained that she was worried about being lonely, that she wouldn’t have any friends at hogwarts, considering she saw groups of first years who had known each other before, perhaps from a muggle primary school. she was worried that people would pick on her because she was a snape and that people would hurt her much like her father had been hurt.

it was a mixture of 1st year blues alongside new worries that kept the poor girl awake at night. you’d often remembered in the days counting, she wouldn’t be able to sleep in her own bed, sleeping on the sofa out of nerves.

“sapphire you will have a good time here at hogwarts, trust us. we’ve both been here…well i don’t know the school just as well like your father but, this is all very new to me too. if you have any problem here, come to me or your father.” you reassured her, as you both sipped your tea you looked over to severus wondering if he had any advice in him.

“your friends will come to you soon, whether it be a day, a week a month…maybe even two years. i can assure you sapphire that you will never be alone. you have us, and obviously you’ll be on your own for some time and that is all in good time.” severus said.

“you’re sapphire snape. you’re gonna do the unstoppable, the unthinkable but you’ll make me and your father proud.” you comforted your daughter who had now been smiling over the advice her parents gave her.

slowly accepting it into her own.

“thanks mum, thanks dad. you’re the best!” she said, her smile didn’t leave her face.

“come now, let us accompany you to the slytherin dorms."

when you left her in the common room with her fellow house mates, you looked over to some of the students who had shot glares at the couple before they both walked off.

as time slowly progressed sapphire looked like she was settling well at hogwarts, she accepted the fact that most of her time was spent alone, but that was completely fine. it showed her focus and dedication to her studies. she answered every question that every teacher asked her and that garnered her house more points than ever.

but today had been pretty bad for the girl, she was unfortunately made crash dummy of the day for the pathetic defence against the dark arts teacher.

whilst everyone had been swooning and falling head over eels for him, you held a grudge. you weren’t going to forgive him for attempting to flirt at your mother.

you and severus had already been in the call for quite a bit so seeing sapphire’s uniform completely ruined shocked you and severus.

“can i please scream…can i please scream?” sapphire asked.

you grabbed your wand and put silencing charms all over the room.

“be our guest.” you said.

sapphire had let out screams of complete stress, to which severus actually covered his ears.

after a few more screams, you noticed that by this point she was going to damage her voice, you shot a look to severus that instantly made him get up and get his daughter a calming draught.

“sapphy honey! that’s enough” you said comfirting your daughter as she let out a few pants after her screams.

“that felt good.” was all she said.

“sapphire you’ll damage your voice if you keep screaming this viscerally.” you said.

“here…” severus offered her the calming draught which sapphire cautiously took sips from.

“was it lockheart?” severus asked.

sapphire nodded.

“and he unleashed a hippogriff into the classroom and of course i had to be professor lockheart’s crash dummy.” sapphire said, with such detest in her voice.

severus waved his wand and now your uniform was instantly back to normal.

“thanks dad.” she said.

“there’s going to be a halloween ball soon, are you going to join?” sapphire asked her parents.

“i’ll be there, your father on the other hand probably won’t be there out of second hand embarrassment.” you teased, to which you were greeted with a book being playfully whacked against your head.

“relax i’m kidding!” you giggled.

“eitherway, staff and students alike have to be there plus your father can’t resist taking house points for any prank he sees fit.” you added.

“dad won’t take any house points from me right?” sapphire couldn’t help but ask.

“we would never do such a thing to you, and beside you impress us more and more each day.” severus said, pressing a kiss to his daughter’s forehead.

“oh oh i have to go, i promised to help professor flitwick today!” sapphire quipped, she hugged you and hugged severus, both as tightly as she could before waving goodbye to her parents.

“she’s doing so well here.” you said.

“sapphire has no doubt learnt from the best.” severus admitted.

you only smiled up at him and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, to which he obviously couldn’t resist.

“oh y/n…you’ve been such a bad girl.” he mumbled.

“have i really been a bad bad girl?” you teased.

“teasing your professor is something you can’t get away with.” he held back a smirk as he looked into your eyes for a moment.

“we’re both professors you idiot.” you joked.

those were the last things you said before he pulled you into a deep kiss, your lips colliding with his as the scent of parchment paper lingered all over the classroom.

you pulled away when you weren’t able to cath your breath, “you have a class soon.” you reminded him.

“class can wait…it looks as if i need to teach my favourite student…a lesson.” he admitted deeply.

“favourite student huh? i’d never thought you’d be this…scandalous.” you teased.

severus then took you into his stores and closed the door, he pinned you to it as he placed several kisses all over your lips, he then found himself leaving love bites all over your neck as you let out a soft moan.

that was pleasing to the ears.

his hands felt at your waist as you wrapped you arms around him and you let him leave love marks on your shoulder. you tilted his face to meet yours. your lips made his way to his neck, leaving a mark on there.

you both shared one last kiss. making it as tender and passionate as possible, before pulling away

“such a good girl…” he murmured.

your cheeks heated up as you perked a shy smile. “you’ve been so good my love.” he whispered again.

“i guess i’ll be returning the favour soon sev.” you smirked.

“i’ll see you at the halloween ball then…professor.” you winked as you let out a giggle and walked out, making your way to your classroom.

severus watched you go, severus’ eyes had been filled with love, such desire. the fact that he was loved, only made his heart warm. you were the reason he married you, your personality was what made him thrive. and it warmed his heart at how kind you were, to the people around you, to your little family.

that was the life he lead.

when the day of the halloween ball arrived, you helped sapphire get into her ballgown.

“do you wanna show dad?” you asked, sapphire nodded going outside and there her father stood. in his usual attire but inside, he was beaming.

his daughter made the whole world shine, “sapphire you look lovely.” he said kissing her head.

sapphire did a little spin and smiled at her mum and dad who couldn’t have been more proud.

you all entered as a family which deserved some looks here and there.

“your father and i going to patrol the event okay, you’ll be fine right?” you asked.

“i think so.” she nodded.

“right…have fun okay.” you said, letting her go into the crowd.

the patrol had been as usual, severus took house points for any misbehaviour, you were there to comfort and have casual chats with the students and staff.

severus looked over to his daughter who looked as if she was looking out for someone.

as the hour passed, sapphire looked sad. and alone, she looked to her parents who had been dancing together, no doubt she was happy but this year was solidified.

she was going to be alone.

sapphire walked out which sparked the attention of you and your husband, as you searched for sapphire you knew where she would be…the astronomy tower.

you both knew that students couldn’t be up there, how she managed to get in was besides the point, your daughter was sad and you both had to comfort her.

she cried as you both hugged her lovingly, reassuring her that everything will be okay.

severus looked over to you, it looked like he had a trick up his sleeve, you grabbed your wand and both waved your wands around the astronomy tower, which was decorated in the same halloween decorations she was familiar with when she was younger.

“you…still have them?” sapphire sniffled.

“you know your mother by now.” severus said.

“we can have our own halloween ball…right here.” you said. sapphire smiled at that idea. you put on the music player and what was always playing was the family’s favourite song.

“the sun ain't gonna shine anymore.”

“the sun ain’t gonna shine anymore.”

“the moon ain't gonna rise in the sky.”

“the tears are always clouding your eyes.”

“when you're without love!”

the three of you danced to that song, singing the lyrics back and forth to one another and you both fell to the floor. nothing but laughter and happiness radiated from this little family.

you and severus wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

you would do anything to make your daughter happy.

severus would do anything to make his wife and daughter happy.

and that was something he swore to do.

“didn’t think you two would go off to the halloween ball without me huh?”

you both turned back and saw your daughter in that beautiful dress.

now she was in her fifth year, almost all grown up. she looked over to her mother and father, your smile still lingering as you both let her join in with you on your walk to the great hall.

“you look absolutely lovely saph.” severus said.

“why thank you dad…you too don’t look so bad for someone who wears the same 3 cloaks over and over again.” sapphire said.

you giggled at how playful your daughter was.

“so saph, i hear you have a partner for this dance…is that correct?” you asked, severus shot a look at his daughter.

“relax dad, we’re not like that…we’re just friends.”

“that’s what they always say, next hour she’ll come to me with a ring on her finger.”

“dad!” sapphire giggled.

“oh look there he is now!” she beamed going over to what seemed to be the lucky boy.

cedric diggory.

“a slytherin and a hufflepuff. that’s something you don’t see everyday.” you said, nudging his arm a little.

“mum dad, i assume you know who he is.” sapphire said, bring cedric in front of you both.

“cedric diggory, your reputation proceeds you.” severus said.

“likewise professor snape, professor l/n…snape? i take it.” cedric said, confused at what to call you.

“oh call me professor l/n snape. i merged the two names together so that nobody would get confused. its nice to meet you cedric.” you said, shaking his hand.

“cedric’s partner couldn’t make it so he asked me and i obviously said yes.” sapphire smiled.

“she’s quite lovely for a slytherin.” cedric admitted.

“oh you, hush or we’ll miss out on the pumpkin canapes.” sapphire said, playfully punching his shoulder.

you and your husband couldn’t help but giggle at the two. their daughter really hadn’t changed and you couldn’t help but smile at her growth.

“go on, have fun okay…oh and sapph, meet us at the astronomy tower when you’re done.” you said.

“will do mum, don’t have too much fun without me.” she said, waving to her parents before being ushered away by cedric to participate in the dance.

you looked over to severus, who looked out for his daughter with for once, a smile to his.

“are you crying?”

severus looked over to you and wiped away the very obvious tears that ran down his face.

“no i wasn’t.”

“yes you were.”

“no i wasn’t.”

“yes you were.”

“no i wasn’t.”

“yes you were.”

“no i wasn’t.”

“yes you were.”

“you were crying sevvy, admit it.” you giggled which was then replied with a simple roll of the eyes from severus.

“that’s our daughter right there.” you said.

“she’s grown up so fast.” severus replied.

“are you proud of her?” you asked.

“i’ll always will be.” he said.

“and do you know what y/n…i’m proud of you.” severus said pressing his lips to yours lovingly.

you smiled and hugged your husband as you oversaw the scene at hand. but before you could get intimate with one another, you heard a bang nearby. you looked over to your daughter who pointed at the situation at hand, both of you relieved that she wasn’t apart of it.

“50 points from gryffindor.” severus bluntly said.

that was greeted by groans and mutters from the gryffindor students.

that aside, you looked over to your daughter who looked like she was having a good time.

when the ball was over, sapphire bade her goodbyes to cedric. leaving to go to the astronomy tower, “mum what was it you wanted?” she called.

sapphire looked over at the scene that unravelled, a dinner table and around them.

the halloween decorations.

the same ones.

she never got old of them.

“mum, dad…i love it.” she beamed.

“come along saph.” severus said, ushering her to join.

with no hesitation sapphire joined them. the three had a halloween dinner fit for a royal family.

you and severus told sapphire stories from the early stages of their relationship, whilst sapphire spoke of the ball, how divine hogwarts looked and whilst she picked up only a few friends along the way, nothing could compare to the love she had for her family.

the night was concluded when the three of you decided to do some stargazing, looking up at all the constellations.

sapphire was in complete awe of the sky, how beautiful it was. she looked over to you and severus who had been sat on the balcony.

“i’m so proud of you y/n…my love.” severus said.

“i’m more proud of you, severus.”

you both shared a soft kiss, which was interrupted by your daughter who said, “still here… don’t think you’ve forgotten me yet.”

you and severus only laughed, shifting up a little so your daughter could join you.

“soon it will be another day at hogwarts.” sapphire said.

“it’s never another day sapphy, you have us.” you assured her.

“i know…i just don’t want this to end.” she said.

“your adventures will never end sapphire. and we will be here for you every step of the way.” severus said, pressing a kiss to sapphire’s forehead. she looked up at her father with a smile.

sapphire embraced her mother and father, looking up at the night sky.

“we’re the snapes. our adventures will never end.” you said.

“mum…dad, you’ll still be here right?”

“always sapphire.” severus said.

“always? i like that word.” your daughter said.

smiles were left on you and severus as you all took the scenery in.

“i love you all.”

“we love you too sapphire."

the snapes, the family filled with laughter and love.

everyday was another adventure with your husband, with your daughter.

you didn’t want this to end either.

Not "autistic anon," but also autistic, (being called maybe ableist made me want to put this out there before go to bed) i thought Zane was depicted that way purposefully by the writers. He has stereotypical traits like taking things literally, and has an actual humor switch. The writers have done things with Zane before like have him lose bodily autonomy (during that one Wu's teas short) and did something with his voice be it making him unable to be understood or talking too loud and the forced pirate voice by Jay. (what you're doing isn't too different from that, right?) I thought it was just a little iffy to distort his body and memory bc that could be interpreted as something not that I'm sure what exactly, it's some kind of disability. I dunno. I'm not good with putting this to words. I hope this makes sense.

Im a little confused but I think I get what you're saying? You're saying the Ninjago writers absolutely DON'T write Zane well (you listed examples of this) and you don't want me to fall into the same trap?

I had the opposite logic earlier. I thought: If Ninjago writers made Zane have stereotypical autisitic traits while also being a dehumanized robot, I may as well embrace it, say he is autistic blatantly, while also making him do funny/cool non-human robot things, so its clear as possible the two aspects of his character are literal and separate and not a metaphor for each other. But you're right! I do have a choice and I dont have to embrace things! :)

Like there were a couple ways I was gonna reject the original, for example, I never wanted Zane to have a funny switch, and I hated how other characters could fuck with Zane and he didn't even care 😬. I want to change that stuff. So youre right, if I am changing shit like that, it would be counterproductive for ME to GIVE him MORE traits along that theme. 😬😬😬 I should try to feel less obligated to portray Zane like he originally is. I still like the concept of "scary zane" (for reasons i explain below the cut) but I might tone it down a bit like with the claws and weird proportions and shit. I’d def make him look more skeletal and undead. That was my original intention, but i didnt execute it as good as I could have.... idk if anyone could tell thats what he was supposed to be like...my bad! But rn I dont wanna redesign him I wanna draw other stuff like normal alive Zane. Sorry LMAO 😳. Like I said in some earlier asks I think, I think Im gonna focus rn on how I should portray season 1 normal not dead Zane so thank you and feel free to share any other Zane thoughts ^_^ SOME OTHER THOUGHTS:

Also I Wanna Argue Some Stuff But I Understand its a Weak Argument Since All of This Context was Just In My Brain (so don't take this as an argument, just as me rambling): I don't want messed up things to happen to Zane and for it to just be ignored. I think if Zane is going to have fucked up things happen to him, as all characters must, its best for it to happen during a season where he actually addresses his feelings about being a robot (learning to accept that he will always be himself, regardless if hes "human" or the "original" or whatever. (thats how I always interpreted his emotions)). But I wouldn't have the other Ninja be very phased by Zane's looks because the whole point is they already love who he is (seasons 1-3 were about getting to know Zane) and now Zane himself just has to learn the physical, robot part of him is okay. Its about person-hood rather than humanity. Because the season focuses around Zane's soul, and because he lost his original body, I feel like I could mess around with his current, temporary body and have fun and make it scary. Because that body should be irrelevant. I understand it possibly being upsetting for an autistic character to be designed like this, but other people I talked to see it the opposite way. They find it comforting for him to look so different but still be himself and be so loved. SO IM ABSOLUTELY NOT saying its wrong to be bothered or to hate it or to feel any way. Just that I personally think it would be cool for Zane to be portrayed with a little spice lol, so thats why I like scary Zane for season 4.

Another Thing I Wannna Say But Is REALLY Hypocritical: (this isnt directed at anyone I just REALLY want to say this) I know I say "this is Zane but scary, he looks like fnaf" so he's obviously dehumanized, but I always felt like "scary" is more of an objective fact. Its an instinct. But what's "not human" is subjective. I think there is a problem with saying anything different from "average" human is dehumanized because that could extend to real people. Lol I know its bad for me to compare FNAF-ass Zane to real people, but I mean he could be real. People can have exposed teeth, and people can be shaped weird. And when someone first sees a person who looks like that they'll probably think "woah those features are scary" by instinct. And that surprise doesn't make someone ableist obviously. But bring that person’s humanity into question is NOT an instinct, and is fucked to shit. This is kinda a bad point for me to make since its about the fictional FNAF Zane I drew, and I am NOT implying ANYONE was thinking like this. [especially not the original asker anon who I am totally forgetting about at this point OOPS]. But I just thought it was an opinion of mine I couldn't go without mentioning when talking about dehumanization and disabilities.

I think this because you started to bring physical disabilities up and you said it was "a little iffy." ^_^ So we agree, but I don't see Zane's relation to real life disabilities as "a little iffy" I see it more like "complicated"? IF THAT DIFFERENCE EVEN MAKES ANY SENSE?????? I feel like a lot of things about Zane are really just complicated and need the right context, rather than the concepts necessarily being wrong -- NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT! THATS THE WHOLE REASON I DO THIS STUPID REWRITE! XD thats why a lot of my rewrite SO FAR has been the same concepts and plot beats, but different dialogue n specifics and such. I like a lot of concepts in Ninjago but I dont think they were presented correctly.....! :( So I guess all we can do is wait and see if I make Zane offensive or not....???

Also something about the memory part - yeah i agree i was surprised no one thought that was weird to make jokes out of his memory issues..... BUT I am like 100% firm on making his memory take longer to come back because I think its stupid how quick Zane was able to recover from literally dying. Like its just dumb to me. Hate it. (also bc memory & soul mechanics is ummm kinda important in my rewrite.... for reasons). Another memory thing btw, I was going to make his original amnesia come from hitting his head in an attack against the Skulkin when they stole his dads corpse, rather than his dad fucking choosing to make him forget. (its a sweet & iconic scene, but Um, WHY?!!!?!?!?!?) He has to follow data recovery instructions he finds in his dads diary. I think in that context it makes moments of memory loss somewhat different for Zane's character? Instead of loss of autonomy associated with disability, its a literal violent loss of autonomy associated with being traumatized by physical force. Fuck Ninjago writers for making the robot lose autonomy (a stereotypical robot theme) while also making him seem clearly autistic (NOT A HAPPY THEME FOR AUTISTIC PEOPLE) and not addressing it. And also auuugh Zane with a weird body is a difficult topic - kinda sussy pretty iffy.
