You know, in the ball pit au, during the previously mentioned scene where the dead kids are trying to “protect” Gregory and going after Mike (mostly Cassidy), I can imagine Gregory getting fed up with them, because Mike’s from before the prank. He hasn’t killed CC. The worst he’s ever done is be a bit of an asshole, and like, he’s 15. 15 year olds are assholes. They’re punishing him for things he hasn’t done yet, and if Mike isn’t frustrated by that (probably because he’s freaking out over it) I can imagine Gregory would be.

Oh he absolutely does get angry.

Gregory spends the entirety of the time fighting back against the kids, desperately trying to reason with them that Michael hasn’t done anything wrong. Even if, in their eyes, it’s technically not true. In their timeline (the original), Michael did cause Evan’s (CC’s) death. They think Gregory’s been duped into trusting Michael, and Cassidy takes the reigns in order to exact vengeance in behalf of Evan.

So the frustration comes tenfold when trying to wrestle haunted animatronics off of you, plus yelling at them to stop chasing and hurting Michael, plus trying to explain your whole time travel situation and how you’re technically not lying, plus when you’re locked in the back rooms with the ghost of your technically dead and still pretty resentful uncle, plus knowing you’re on the clock and you don’t have time for this.

Yeah, Gregory’s pretty peeved.

walking into work tomorrow for the staff training day after i got rejected for the job i was near guaranteed to get and didn’t find out the news from my boss who i was with the whole morning in TUTOR PLANNING DAY FOR NEXT YR FOR TUTORIALS THAT TUTORS WOULD BE DOING THAT I WAS BOOKED INTO WITH THE TUTORS THE ROLE I APPLIED FOR AND HAD A VERY GOOD INTERVIEW FOR i found out from a noreply auto generated email from hr that was sent out as soon as i stepped out of the meeting room :) and then got invited back to the meeting for the rest of the day where my manager repeatedly talked about taking my good ideas from my interview and implementing them into tutorials next yr. after i got rejected via generated email. late to the party but as an emotional abuse survivor it means so much when people look at all sides of the story before coming to conclusions. Abusers, especially emotional abusers, will lie about being the victim in order to hurt their target, so it's important that when something like this happens we make sure that both sides are separated from each other, safe, and have the time to tell their sides. Part of the reason why october messed me up so bad is because you could TELL that a good chunk of the 'support victims uwu!' people DID NOT ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT VICTIMS. They cared about feeling like good people, or looking like good people, or having a spotless record, they did not care about the people who might potentially be in danger. Not to mention the one person who made a video 'supporting' the victims where he managed to mix up two separate people's stories, rant about Dream for half an hour, and then toss out a half-hearted 'oh yeah sorry this happened if ur a victim'. They don't care about victims, they care about looking morally superior and they care about hating Dream, and as a survivor myself I hope their platforms all crumble out from under them.
