the sounds he makes are hauntingly beautiful, like a distant echo under the sea. they're almost like white noise at first, only to change when the melody lilts and his voice goes with it- it'd be a little eerie if you weren't used to it. Legacy loves it when you sing, nudging his head underneath your chin so he can listen to your tune, crooning lightly along with you. it's very common for you to be curled up in front of the fireplace with Foul Legacy resting his head against your chest, absentmindedly humming together as you pet his thick ginger hair- it's almost guaranteed to put both of you to sleep in ten minutes or less, always waking up in a warm, drowsy pile of human and Abyss monster

and yes, different songs have different meanings!! the most common one is when he mimics whatever you're singing, almost doing it in an idle way; it means he's content and happy in the current moment. a slow, warbling tune means that he misses you or is generally lonely; a quick chittering song when you're in different rooms means that he wants to see you RIGHT NOW but is too sleepy or too comfy to get up. and there's another song, a gentle, cooing melody full of notes and joy that's always accompanied by a headbump and a purr- you've asked what it means several times, but Legacy merely chirps mischievously and nudges your hand with his head, asking for scritches

Its inarguable that daigo genuinely cherished mine as a confidant and a reliable ally. he valued mine not just for his stalwart loyalty, but how despite (or perhaps because of) that loyalty mine was prepared to disagree with daigo and not just be a self-serving yesman only after money or a semblance of power like other members of the tojo; because of mine’s readiness to risk going against daigo despite his position, daigo saw mine as someone who genuinely cared not just for him, but for the tojo clan that meant so much to him

When it comes to romantic feelings though, its never going to be as cut-and-dry as we’d like (unless you’re mine. Unless you’re a raging homosexual like mine.), so i can never- with confidence- say a character has romantic feelings for another (AGAIN. Unless You’re Mine). At the very least, it’s safe to say mine was more explicit about demonstrating that love, or at the very least he was given more chances to show how much he loved daigo, so it’ll always look one-sided going off of what we have so far <- delusional

If we want tho, we can have some fun with the franchise and implications and all. after the events of Y3 via an RGGO story, daigo visits the bar he and mine would frequent. Inside, the bartender brings up a special bottle of alcohol daigo was meant to share with mine, though because mine’s, daigo declines drinking it. Ultimately, he decided the bottle should only be opened if mine was there to share it with him, otherwise it would be pointless

I bring up this moment For Giggles because in Y7, kashiwagi the bartender weaves a similar story during nanba’s drink link. The story goes that he keeps an expensive brand of alcohol on his shelf because he wanted to give the bottle to his lover, though she died before they got the chance to share it and keeps it in honor of her

Obviously, the story’s just a silly front to trick people into coming in- but it is Dually funny considering the parallel to the mine/daigo situation..

So with Baizhu coming soon I remembered how everyone agree to say his medicine is extra bitter and taste bad. When you fell sick you naturelly have to take them and one day Foul legacy decide to taste some (mothman is very curious) and end up sticking his tongue out while looking at you with his big eye, refusing to give them back to you until hes 100% sure that this is really medicine and it will help with sickness :')

Idk if mothman can even fell sick but if he does makes him take his medicine will probably take hours after that event

big mistake. the brew is bitter and medicinal tasting, not to mention scalding hot, and he ends up yelping and whining in dismay. immediately he plucks the mug from your hands and sets it where you can't reach it, hugging you to his chest when you attempt to take it back. at first you chuckle at the high-pitched whines slipping from his mouth as he buries his face in your hair, until your throat stings and you start coughing again. Legacy's grip on you loosens, and he lets out a sigh before begrudgingly sliding the mug back into reach- it's from Baizhu, someone you trust to heal you, so he can trust the doctor too, right? he does notice how you also grimace whenever you swallow and is pleased to know that it's not just his sense of taste... although he will encourage you to eat something that tastes nicer afterwards. it's a reward for being able to choke down that bitter medicine!!!
