Oh the Chain of Memories memento and how it said Sora didn’t hate Naminè….but he wanted to get his memory back. Wasn’t he losing memories of Riku or was it Kairi? Ik it said Kairi was being replaced by Namanè, but like I thought his memories of Riku were disappearing too???
Gosh then that’s even more of a reason to go into a coma. He could never wish to forget about Riku. His best friend, someone he looks up to, someone he chased down into darkness, someone he eventually would accept to spend eternity in the realm of darkness with, and someone he loves….ugh I’m probably wrong about the missing memories of Riku but just imagine he was losing them and he also went to sleep to get both Kairi AND Riku back. Gosh I love this game-
the rad thing about headcanoning fictional characters as neurodivergent is that you don’t even need to wait for the writers to confirm it bc if they give that character enough traits to qualify as being a certain way, then they just are. obviously it’s great if they did it on purpose but also. if you didn’t mean to write an autistic character? well you still did by accident and nothing you can say is gonna change that lol
the writing style of the hunger games is addictive and that’s a huge part of the appeal of the novels that didn’t get translated to the screen. i always think about the stephanie meyer (lol) quote on the hunger games book where she says “i couldn’t put this book down i had to take it out to dinner and keep reading it” and i mean, so true bestie stephanie, but here’s why.
it’s because every chapter ends in a cliffhanger. and i’m not kidding when i say that it is so flawlessly paced that you can’t put it down, but those beats are so crucial to why the book is so amazing to read. think of the end of the literal first chapter of the book: “it’s primrose everdeen.” that is a BOMB that she drops in that first chapter, and after the introduction, you as the reader are as blown away as katniss. so, you can’t help but turn the page and keep reading!! because you HAVE to know what happens next. and how does the second chapter end? like this: “of course, the odds have not been very dependable of late.” you, the reader, are instantly thinking, oh my god, what is going to happen? are the odds going to be in her favor? is she going to have to kill peeta? you HAVE to know. so you turn the page.
the reason this works so well is because suzanne collins wrote for television and you can tell. it is my personal belief that thg should have been adapted for television and not into films, because missing those beats, even just the white space of the page, i think fundamentally warps the pacing and the structure of the novels. i know i go on and on and on about the “because she came here with me” and “if it weren’t for the baby” lines but seriously this is why peeta is a media genius, it’s because suzanne COLLINS is a media genius. can you imagine watching that on television and the screen just cuts to black and goes to commercial or the episode ends and you have to wait to see what happens next?? it’s GENIUS
furthermore, the hunger games series as a whole is divided into a trilogy, but within that, divided into three sections each. and each section ends with an even bigger cliffhanger than the last. i see these, in the world of television, as mini season breaks within the larger three “seasons” of the show (that being the whole trilogy). here are the first three endings of all the sections. imagine you’re watching this on television and these lines drop, and then you have to wait several more weeks for the next installment. you would be climbing the walls for it. part 1 (the tributes): “peeta blushes beet red and stammers out. "because. because. she came here with me." part 2 (the games): “before i can stop myself, i call out peeta's name.” part 3 (the victor) (the end of the book): “i take his hand, holding on tightly, preparing for the cameras, and dreading the moment when i will finally have to let go.” those are ALL cliffhangers and make it impossible to stop reading.
(also, we can talk about the fact that all three of those beats are focused on peeta, the one who seems to most intrinsically understand dramatic timing and using his words to create a narrative.)
anyway that is why it is my personal and impassioned belief that the hunger games should have been adapted for television rather than film, because it would have been far more in keeping with the spirit, tone, and pacing of the novels to adapt it into a serialized form rather than a 2 hour film.
the juxtaposition of michael sheen’s portrayal of aziraphale, where all his best details, his best expressions, are centered in his eyes - the flitting glances up and down crowley’s body in paris, the lingering gazes on crowley’s mouth throughout the wall scene, the softness and kindness in his eyes when he deals with mary hodges and adam young both, the intensity of his eyes when he looks at gabriel in that last trial scene (that’s crowley, but it’s him being aziraphale, and it’s still michael sheen underneath lol), the way his gaze flicks to crowley when he says “luck of the devil” and crowley double takes at him, the pain in his eyes when crowley leaves the bandstand - aziraphale holds himself quite stiff, very often holds his hands in front of him, bound together, and while he does have various big expressions like the gasp in 1941 or the gavotte smile, michael sheen’s portrayal places aziraphale’s soul in his eyes - we see more of the hidden pieces of aziraphale through his eyes, the things he’d probably rather we didn’t
juxtapose that against david tennant’s portrayal of crowley, which relies on so much outside his eyes - his movement of his mouth and forehead and eyebrows become dramatic, the baring of teeth, the raising of his brow, and then of course his entire body comes into the picture, that distinctive walk we’ve all yelled so much about. when we do see crowley’s eyes they’re so open and vulnerable - in many cases dramatically enlarged, even - much like the rest of his expressions. david tennant’s portrayal of crowley is a portrayal that can’t help but give itself away, despite not seeing his eyes - the crumbling face in the bar scene, the devastation at the bandstand and on the soho street, almost shocked, the soft smiles on the bench and in the ritz, you know the ones, and the one, very bright, very big smile after the paintball scene. david tennant’s portrayal gives you everything everywhere else because he so often can’t give you the eyes, or he can’t give aziraphale the eyes - we see more of crowley’s eyes when he’s alone than any other time - so the soul of crowley is lodged everywhere else. you don’t need the eyes to know him.
it’s a very cleverly done juxtaposition and really reinforces, actually, how together these two characters are meant to be, that, as michael said in an interview, they really don’t exist without one another. they fill in the spaces the other has left empty literally. it’s very cool and very fascinating to watch and very chef’s kiss.
The man can read a room. The way he spoke softly with Bucky, matching his tone, when they were on the plane after meeting John Walker... He kept the conversation civil and logical to keep Bucky’s emotion in check. (One of my favorite scenes of ep. 2)
Balances emotion and logic. He acts on emotion but also thinks logically and listens which can be seen a lot when he was with Steve (and now with Bucky). For example, when Bucky left the car with Walker, Sam stayed and let Walker finish speaking before getting out. Even though Walker consistently insulted them and didn’t deserve to be heard.
Maintains an empathetic open mind. When Bucky, Walker, Hoskins, and Sam talked about the Flag Smashers. Sam proposes, just once, they could just be trying to help people. It’s shot down by the ass-clown Walker but Sam has empathy for them and considers every angle of the situation without jumping to conclusions.
Patient and keeps his temperament in check. He will firmly defends himself and others with a level head. But he never gets riled up unless he has a good reason like when he finds out about Isaiah. He has every right to be angry in that moment
Always fights for what is right. THE MAN DROPPED EVERYTHING TO HELP STEVE OUT OF THE BLUE AFTER MEETING HIM TWICE! Two damn times. Come on!
...But always keeps things light and fun. Self explanatory lol This is seen throughout his time in the MCU.
Always says the right thing and affirms what people need to hear. He says it whether they want to or not. He is logical but maintains respect. This can be seen with Bucky consistently, probably because he was working at the VA for vets with PTSD.
Incredibly compassionate. He is a good man which is why he got the shield. This show just proves it. It shows us what Steve saw in him! Bucky beat his ass in WS and he didn’t move his seat up for him CW but the man still TEXTED BUCKY FOR MONTHS DESPITE BEING IGNORED because he knows he’s in pain.
Handles situations with such grace and poise. This is despite the stress and grief that systemic racism brings and despite being absolutely humiliated and heartbroken when they gave the shield to Walker. He gives me grounded Black Panther energy.
Unbelievably charming, hilarious, and charismatic family man who never gives up. NOT ONCE do you see him complaining about money or making demands. He doesn’t get a loan in episode 1 for the boat but says he’ll go to every bank in the area.
GREAT WITH CHILDREN which is why he and Bucky get along lol
YES, Bucky has been my favorite MCU character since forever and yeah, Bucky’s story is sad and heartbreaking...
BUT you are... blind and/or utterly ignorant if you don’t see how heartbreaking it is for Sam.
He is holding it together BECAUSE HE HAS TO! He doesn’t get the option to act on his emotions and throw a tantrum as a black man. He moves forward because he has to and he continues to fight for a country that doesn’t respect him. These are real world issues. Respect him and his journey.
(Rewatch the episodes. Watch his expressions. Mackie went to Julliard he knows what he is doing. His acting is brilliant.)
Sam is such a good person and an incredible character. I LOVE how tfatws is finally showing it. Like that is Captain effing America. I have immense respect for this character and...
A truck driver stopped at a roadside diner for lunch and ordered a cheeseburger, coffee and a slice of apple pie. As he was about to eat, three bikers walked in.
One grabbed the trucker's cheeseburger and took a huge bite from it. The second one drank the trucker's coffee, and the third wolfed down his apple pie. The truck driver didn't say a word as he paid the waitress and left.
As the waitress walked up, one of the motorcyclists growled, "He ain't much of a man, is he?"
"He's not much of a driver, either," the waitress replied. "He just backed his 18-wheeler over three motorcycles."

author’s note : I just wanted to say that all of my fics, headcanons, drabbles, etc with the Mcyt people are all in-game- whether it be an au of sort or follows the main story line. I’ve always been better at writing for fictional characters so I’ll be writing for their in-game personas, although some of their real-life personalities may be involved sometimes.
Really tries to act all big and tough
But literally as soon as your hand comes in contact with his cheek, he’s leaning into it with a embarrassed scowl
“I do not enjoy this, alright? We’re gonna be very clear here that I do not, I repeat do nOT-“
He’s so sweet oml
He’ll see your hand coming closer to him and just lean in the rest of the way
Could honestly fall asleep like that
“Say, Y/n? Could we do this more often? I quite enjoy it.”
We love our resident Dadza.
He’s tried so hard to take care of his boys for so long but who takes care of him? When your hand gently caresses his cheek it takes him a bit to process
Gets a bit emotional cause wow he didn’t know how much he needed this-
“I-...thank you, Y/n.”
We saw how he acted when Ranboo gave him an axe as a present- he’ll be no different with this
Won’t even say anything, honestly, he’ll just sit there with his signature blank face
If you listen close enough though, you’ll hear Techno’s happy piglin noises
Mans has not felt like this since Sally died
Straight up melts and gets misty eyed at first contact
Will NOT let you go for awhile
“Y/n...stay here with me, please?”
- He still loves Sap and George deep down and no one can change my mind
Hasn’t had friendly contact with people since he left Sapnap and George
He’ll freeze up at first, making you move your hand away until he grabs it hastily
Covers your hand with his and cries about his two best friends
“T-they hate me, Y/n! Please...please tell me you don’t hate me too.”
Gets all giddy and giggly
Pulls you into his lap so he can cradle your face as well
Won’t let you get up unless you have to use the bathroom
“Y/n! You’re so cute, you know that?”
Gets all blushy and turns to hide his face in the palm of your hand
Loves the contact but can’t look you in the eye for long
Won’t ever deny you when you wanna do it again
“Can you...can you do that again?”
He’s just so happy that you’d want to be near him like this that he’s practically vibrating in excitement
Will speak about this for days with Skeppy
“AwWH, you’re such a sweet little muffin!”
You were 100% doing this after he got into a fight
He wasn’t used to affection after Schlatt so he just sat there in shock for a second
Won’t say it twice, but he appreciates you so much
“Thank you for always being here...I love you Y/n.”
Another sweet blushy baby
He’ll stare at you adoringly and kiss your palms here and there
Tugs his multicolored hoodie over your body and cuddles against you
“Y/n...your eyes are beautiful. Did you know that?”
Absolutely cannot look you in your eyes
The blush on his white side matches the color of his eyes
Trembles and stutters as he tries to form a sentence
I mean people really expected Meghan to just be hounded and tormented all of her life just because she was a biracial girl who married into the british royal monarchy. What’s comical is some people swore she was using Harry for money and status. Saying she was loving the attention anyway. Only for her and Harry to say they’re leaving and will be “financially independent” instead. People who thought she was going to leave, only thought she’d leave via divorce. They didn’t expect for her to take Harry with her lol
When Vision broke Norm out of his trance, he said, and I quote, “You have to stop her. She’s in my head.”
He never said who this “she” was, though.
At this point, I’m pretty sure that Wanda isn’t in complete control—even though, for the most part, she thinks she is. There’s someone else taking charge.
Here’s some more clues that something’s not right:
- Vision claiming that Wanda wasn’t aware of what’s going on at first, but then eventually figured it out and took charge.
- Wanda, when Sparky died and the kids wanted her to bring the dog back to life, told them that you cant reverse death. She seemed pretty mournful about it too? (Though, this could be her trying to play it off).
- Wanda saying, “I don’t know how this all happened.”
- In the first two episodes, up until the end of ep 2 with the SWORD agent, Wanda didn’t seem completely aware of what was going on. She seemed rather confused at a lot of the reality-breaking-through moments.
- everything with the twins aging—Wanda seemed pretty taken aback with that. Same with her having twins in the first place? Though this could be her subconscious + powers making that happen. Idk of that happened in the comics too lol, I haven’t done enough research oof
- In this ep, when Vision confronted her, Wanda claimed that she wasn’t controlling everything that everyone in Westview did. And the doorbell at the end “wasn’t her doing.”
- She seemed genuinely shocked and confused at recast Pietro arriving.
- unless she’s gone full crazy at this point, mcu Wanda wouldn’t kidnap a bunch of civilians for her own coping mechanism.
- As established in episode 4, someone is obviously censoring the “abnormal” parts of the sitcoms. I honestly don’t believe that Wanda knew that someone was watching her outside the hex and made a sitcom out of it for people to watch. It seems . . . weird.
- Plot-wise, to say that Wanda went insane and created Westview with 4 episodes left makes you suspicious—it seems too simple. And with how obviously complex this series is, it’s even more suspicious.
- editing to add: in ep 2, Dottie and the rest of the town kept chanting “for the children,” despite there being no children in westview. And at the end of this episode, Wanda becomes pregnant. It seems like someone who’s really in control is influencing her, somehow?
There’s more stuff too, but it’s 2am and I’m tired so I’ll probably edit in more things later lol.
My working theory is that someone—mephisto, Agatha, whoever—created this place and put Wanda in it, and when Wanda began to figure everything out, they allowed her to, basically, keep anything “weird” aka abnormal from occurring in Westview. I think that the turning point for Wanda, when she began to think realize that she’s in charge, is when she kicks Monica out and tells vision that she has “everything under control” in the end of ep 3.
Basically, to come full circle. I don’t think that this “she” Norm talked about is Wanda. I think it’s someone else—probably Agatha Harkness.
EDIT: Also, Im thinking about why Wanda broke in and took Vision’s body in the first place. Perhaps Wanda made a deal with the antagonist in the show (mephisto, maybe?) that they would bring Vision back to life, in exchange for something else? Whatever that may be. Though sword was doing sketchy stuff with his body before she got him, so who knows.
A man walks into an old pub in Dublin, takes a seat at the bar and orders 3 pints.
After he is served he takes sips from them in turn and when all 3 glasses are finally empty he orders 3 more. The barkeeper, who has been watching him, has never seen such a weird style of drinking and says to the man: “You know when you leave a beer for too long it goes flat, so they would taste better if you order just one at a time.”
“Well”, says the man at the bar. “You see I have 2 brothers who I used to drink with, but unfortunately one moved to America and the other one moved to Australia. Now we are on 3 different continents and we hardly ever see each other. So I drink a pint for me and 2 for my brothers. This way we at least try to keep this tradition alive and it feels like we’re still together.”
The bartender agrees that this is a beautiful explanation for his weird behaviour and the man becomes a regular at his bar. The other customers also get used to his ritual of ordering 3 pints and drinking them in turn.
But then one day “Mister 3 Pints” comes in and orders only 2 glasses. The whole pub gets silent and the by the time the man orders a second round of only 2 pints the barkeeper says: “I’m terribly sorry as I don’t want to intrude on your grief, but I just wanted to offer my condolances on your loss.”
The man looks puzzled, but then a smile breaks through and he says. “Thanks a lot, but everyone is fine really. It’s just that my wife had us join the Baptist church and I had to give up drinking. But my brothers are still Catholics, so it didn’t affect them.”
