1. How many works do you have on AO3?

9 completed works, some of them multichapter but nothing tooo long. one series.

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

More than my actual thesis... that i should have been writing... for my actual work... (almost 85k)

3. What fandoms do you write for?

Ted Lasso and Tedpendent specifically! But I am a multishipper, so you'll find some TrentBeard in there and some TrentRoy too.

I'd love to write for Midnight Mass but I'm scared of how to write all the religious talk. I thought about writing for OFMD and BBC Ghosts but sort of didn't find the inspiration. There's something about TedTrent that just has that sort of grip on my brain I guess!

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

So... Michelle’s Bisexual Bureau of Investigation seems to be the most liked. I mean, it's basically about Trent being a gay disaster on social media so I think many of us out there can relate (it's actually largely based on something I personally did). It was fun to write and I can sort of see why it's a fun read.

Second, third and fourth place we have 🪄The Smut Fics🪄. It's all private on ao3, so you'll need a profile to access them cause, well.

Fifth place we have Bicycle Day Surprisingly Not About Cycling, which is about divorced dads with a mutual crush doing LSD together. 😇 It was so hard to write but I had one (1) idea and had to stick with it!! Also it was for a challenge so I was extra determined to get it out of my system.

Ironically (in the Alanis sense of the term) some of my personal favourites have the least kudos.

5. Do you respond to comments?

Yes! I love recieving comments and I wanna let people know I really appreciate them. Also, I love commenting on fics and treat the comment section on ao3 as a sort of community-building place. People have been so nice and lovely in the comment sections, it's amazing, really.

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

The ending is not angsty, cause I like to give some happiness to my fictional babes, but this one is sort of angsty and has the least explicit happy ending: Can you still edit a written book?. It's about Beard and Trent being sad and miserable about Ted leaving and hooking up about it. I also wrote a short sequel here: A different pace. This is a wip series and it's the most emo / earnest i got with fic writing. I don't mind it tho!

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Inside of me there are two wolves. One wants to make a sex joke out of the question and thus recommending smut, the other wants to link a wholesome future fic written from the Crimmlet's pov. The duality of humankind.

All of my fics have happy endings, so I'll re-interpret the question and I'll link A very special Crimmlet Diary entry for Coming Out day because it has a glimpse on a very cute and happy family future for Ted and Trent together.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Only from my own brain when I feel down about my writing! 🙃

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

YES. I. DO.

More open than the jar of peanut butter on my kitchen counter is a multi-chapter multishipping madness of a fic I thought about orphaning many times and which I keep as a testament of my own progress in writing fics. I am still grateful for having had some help with beta-reading it but it's just such a mess and very self-indulgent. There's some fun sexy parts including potentially problematic dirty talk, public sex, platonically holding your hands with your bff while you both get head... Ops.

I also wrote an alternative chapter for it which became a one shot, called Cowboys are secretly frequently fond of each other, which is about Trent getting horny over Ted singing karaoke.

But I think the only one I really like it's You’re an angel I’m a dog (Or you're a dog and I'm your man). It's a nasty (you've been warned!) PWP pup play fic. I just think those men deserve to be freaks once in a while. I debated over publishing this as anon but my lack of shame won.

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

No... but I do think Trent deserves boyfriends from every corner of the multiverse.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

No, don't think so.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

No.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, but I'd love to. My DMs are open!

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

💙Ted and Trent💙. Truly a perfect ship. My losers. I love them.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

The Midnight Mass AU that lives rent free in my head and that most likely will never see the light of day (...wink wink, pun intended).

16. What are your writing strengths?

I don't know! I think I can be quite funny. And sometimes poetic, even accidentally so, in the way non-native speakers sometimes can be, using language in a different way. I think I can also write pining quite well (gay water sign talent).

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I hate, HATE, writing dialogue. I am terrified of it. I am afraid it will sound fake or artificial. I also feel insecure about English not being my first language and it showing in fics, in them sounding weird somehow. Not seeing mistakes etc. But I also lack the impulse control needed to wait for fics to be beat read and I sometimes just post the second is done. Which. Not ideal.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

The bane of my existence. Hell on earth. Help. (I willfully misinterpret this question and answer implying that all dialogue is in another language for me).

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Somewhere, on EFP (Italian fanfic site) there are some original works of mine from AGES AGO, and even (if memory doesn't fail me) some Harry Potter wips that I hope are long gone, since fuck that TERF and her work.

20. Favourite fic you’ve written?

Probably the last one I wrote for the AFC Richmond discord server bingo challenge. To love flowing in different directions. it's about queer chosen family and love. It has puns about sex toys, drunken confessions, fantastic wing man action, lots of mutual pining. It was fun to write!

OKAY i know it has been. weeks. months, even. however, I considered how I wanted to say this because too many characters too little time. but here we go:

A Penchant for the Ordinary

Jamie Caldwell is everyone's favorite character and by that I mean she's chaotic as hell, makes knee jerk reactions, definitely unknowingly has ADHD, extremely low self control, and her stress relief is punching people who (probably) deserve it. She's a gay mess in every sense of the word and has seriously tried so hard to get her life together and it's just. it's not working out for her. so, after accepting that fact, Jamie begins to embrace the chaotic and darker sides of herself. if her life is going to hell, she may as well take a free trip down as well and see what it's all about

Chloe and Gus together, because they're so codependent we quite literally never see them apart except for a single scene near the end where Gus hangs around to say one last thing before following her. As mentioned: codependent as hell. Not romantically involved but they know every single in and out of each other- moreso than most couples. While Jamie feels regret for her sudden reactions, Chloe basks in them and has never once wished she made a different decision. Gus typically has the braincell, but usually not for long- he's as much of an adrenaline junkie as everyone else.

Madison did not sign up for any of this shit. When my dad read my book, one of the things he told me was that it was so not necessary to put her through everything that I did. And although I agree, it was sadly necessary for Jamie's questionable character arc. Sorry Madison- but trust me, you're better off with a different girlfriend

Kat absolutely signed up for everything she gets herself into, even if she claims that she didn't. She goes around saying "I'm not involved with any of these people :|" and then actively hangs out with them and invites them to her apartment. for multiple days. She's the type of person that would claim to want to have a relaxing life but she literally chose not to. girl what

Davy tried his best. kind of. he could've done a hell of a lot better, but he also genuinely tried to do well to fix his mistakes. He's the type of person who will feel genuine regret for what he's done and try to rectify his mistakes, even if it takes uhhhhh a lot of time :)

Evelyn is a bastard. absolutely mad woman and in not a fun sexy hot way. Power hungry, unfazed by hurting anyone else in the process of getting what she wants, and yet she still sees herself as benevolent (she's not). Believes she's the main character of the book (she is not).

James did not deserve any of that. I'm sorry dude. That being said, your coping mechanisms were a little subpar. Sorry we still don't know exactly how you died (it's not a spoiler okay it's happened like ten years ago).

Daniel and Edward are absolutely in love but neither of them realize it and it's not a standard love. think qpr. think: they've known each other since elementary school and have gone through all of life together. loyal to a fault but would change on a hat to keep the other safe.

and now: Paradigm

Delilah's trying her best except she makes about a few wrong turns, which ends up shaping her life for the next decade. Surprisingly little self esteem for a person in her job market, though she acts the opposite. She doesn't have enough of a filter but manages to charm her way past a lot of things that should've ended badly. The queen at pushing things down and pretending it never happened. Is aware that she's pretty much trapped, but doesn't believe she can get out.

Charlotte is still Delilah, but she's determined to change into someone else. A new woman who's better, stronger, more confident than Delilah. She becomes the femme fetal that Marcus had wanted since day one, and embraces it. She likes being the bad guy, relishes the feeling of knowing she's in the wrong, and pretends that she doesn't have a nagging feeling that she is, in fact, in the wrong.

Taylor is still Delilah, and parts of Charlotte bleed through to her as well. A changed woman. Mature, who believes that she's seen so much of life that she's immune to anything else that could be thrown at her. Truly believes that she can't change and was created to be bad. Acts like she couldn't give a damn about other people when in fact the opposite is true and she's just afraid of having weaknesses. Aren't we all.

Marcus is pretty much the worst person you can imagine. Runs a cool home business called "assassins for hire :)" (paraphrased). Although he used to do the dirty work himself, he now has employees that he keeps on a tight leash to do everything. Always has multiple contingency plans in case something goes wrong and the authorities get wind of him. If any employee screws up, Marcus gives them zero chances to fix it, and will round up everyone who fucked up last quarter, shoot them, and give them a shallow grave in the Nevada desert. Has an insanely creepy infatuation with Delilah.

Sid is quite possibly the only employee of Marcus that is somewhat on the genuinely good spectrum. ...or at least the "not actively trying to do bad" one. Ex-military, classic "never really left [insert place of war]." Hates Delilah until he begrudgingly doesn't hate Delilah. He knows that everything Marcus is doing is screwed up, but Sid's just going through the motions of life at this point. What's one more life for one more paycheck?

Lainey's name is still pending, but it'll probably end up as Lainey. Smarter than anyone in the world gives her credit for, and is very calculating. She knows more than she lets on as well, and uses that to her advantage. She's probably more forgiving than she should be, but that makes Lainey who she is. Eventually, the only one who knows the most about Delilah (and that isn't just because she sleeps with her. oops)

Rebecca is the classic TV CIA agent except she's actually real. She has poorly controlled OCD but pretends like she has everything under control at all times. After spending over half of a decade attempting to track and take in Marcus, she's eventually promoted to a higher up position, where she gets to create her own team, to finally, once and for all, bring in Marcus. Is pretty much willing to sacrifice it all for the job with little hesitation.

Carter is somewhere between Rebecca's second hand man while also being the worst (affectionate) gay hopeless romantic there is. He thinks he can juggle a relationship and CIA work but let me tell you. He's never learned how to juggle. Keeps Rebecca sane in every way you can think of, and the two often spend nights at each others' places because that's just what they do. Like Rebecca, he's on thin fucking ice with every higher up in the CIA. However, unlike Rebecca, he's excellent at damage control with their supervisor.

Unnamed Classic Hacker Character is still unnamed because no name has truly suited or worked with her. Trusts literally no one, especially not Taylor. Hates her guts, actually. Probably the only one who's actually confident about things, though she knows the least at any given time because she's a junior agent. Rebecca immediately was like "I want her" despite the fact that she graduated worst in her class. Opinionated and full of spite, in the way that every person in a fandom would fucking hate. Absolutely, without a doubt, a character I would love to write an 11 book series spin-off with

finally: Lou is for Lavender

Lou, originally Louisa, is going through it. The book is a journey on her life- or rather, the three months after escaping somewhere between an abusive boyfriend and being trafficked. With little identity, she finds herself constantly trying to figure out who she is, who she should be, and if there even exists a woman beyond the girl she used to be. She's genuinely trying her best, but fuck if it isn't hard. I love her. I love her so much. She is so lost but she's trying so hard to find her way back on a path. I could write five more paragraphs about her at any given time.

Maria is a six year old with far too much energy for someone her size. Absolutely infatuated with her grandmother and the way she used to read to Maria every single day and night, Maria begged her grandmother and Dana to teach her how to read by herself, which quickly morphed into writing. She'll write pages of six year old nonsense for hours without getting bored, and is absolutely thrilled to have a new friend around the house! never mind that she's an adult- Maria sees Lou as a built-in summer friend.

Dana has been putting on the best face for nearly five years. Although it wasn't her intention, after her mom got sick, she moved back to her family's ranch along with her three kids- Maria and two older boys. After her mom passed, she stayed, unable to bear the idea of leaving once more for good, but she's great at hiding that fact. The youngest of seven, Dana is caught somewhere between constantly feeling the need to prove herself while also knowing that no one's waiting and watching for her to grow anymore. Six kids came before her, and Dana genuinely believes that she simply slipped under the attention of everyone.

The Flowers are how Lou refers to the other women she met along the way. The girls who all had an intimate understanding of what she was going through, and yet nothing at all. The flowers are constantly living inside of Lou, always on the edges of her thoughts, nearly controlling her at some points. They stay with Lou, sometimes causing guilt, sometimes causing pain, sometimes just to remind Lou of the dandelions that used to sprout up in between cracks in the sidewalk.

The Journal that Maria gives Lou (after declaring them best friends forever), isn't technically a living character, but it may as well be. It's where Lou's thoughts reside. Where her fears and regrets and memories live so they don't have to live in her head. The journal is an extension of Lou, and the scariest thing she could think of is losing it, but the journal was never meant to stay against her chest for the rest of its life.

Everything Great About a Match: Brooklyn Bodywrecker v Matt Carlton (Bgeast.com)

Everything Great About this Match: +8

SPOILER ALERT: I highly recommend viewing this match in its entirety before reading this post.

So let's begin: +1: For the wrestler intros. I love that Bgeast matches used to begin with a solo flex and intro for the wrestlers. Yes, the music was dated and yes, some of them were more akin to strip shows, but this really established each wrestlers persona, with the added bonus of getting to see long lingering shots of each fighter.

Brooklyn Bodywrecker: "It's wrestling time". [Yeah it is!]

+1: Right out of the gate the Brooklyn Bodywrecker goes at it full force. Stomping, trash talking, and humiliating Matt. We're barely a minute into this and it's clear Matt is gonna get owned.

+1: For the give and take in this match. One sided matches are okay ... but I definitely prefer some back and forth in a match, even if we all know how this ends.

+1: For the unmasking. Now I have mixed feelings about a masked wrestling match, but the one thing I can't deny is how thrilling and climatic an unmasking can be. Just the exposure and added humiliation is worth a point.

+1: For the Brooklyn Bodywrecker being a badass heel. Ever watch a master at work? There's a certain something extra added when this heel is working his craft. It really isn't just how brutal he can be or his moves or his swagger; it's a complete package and other heels need to take note!

+1: For Matt Carlton for being the perfect jobber to play off against. Jobber and heel, it's a dance between opposing forces. Matt is great in his role.

+1: The Brooklyn Body[worship]. I'd certainly be remiss if I didn't mention this wrestler's sexy signature move. A move so infamous, that whenever I watch a Brooklyn Bodywrecker match, I sit in eager anticipation, waiting for this move. Hell this deserves a bonus point [+1].

So there you have it. There is just so much to love about this match. Both wrestlers know their roles well and this a classic match up between two gay wrestling veterans. The entire bout, while not long at all, is completely packed with crushing blows and humiliation, making the heel-jobber interplay between the two absolute perfection.

SUMMARY: You were a striving student in Resonance High and had perfect records. Besides your devotion to your education, you were also gifted with a talent. All these stuffs making your sugar daddy, Jaehyun, proud of you, so he decided to give you a night you won't forget.

He gave Jeno an acknowledging nod for looking out for you for him and carried your smaller body with your legs wrapped around his waist like you were an eight year old. "You asleep, baby?" You buried your head on the crook of his neck and shook them 'no'. "Alright. Cause I don't want dinner going to waste." He made you giggle while you hugged his body tighter that were hanging over his shoulders.

He pulled the door to the passenger's seat and gently seats you down on the comfy chair. He closed the door for you before moving to his side of the car. The driver's. He got inside and made himself comfortable, just as you were putting on your seatbelt. "Are we good to go?"

He chuckled with his deep voice that you always find so hot and fascinating. "Were you practicing 'til the late night, again?" He asked you, concern lingering on the tone of his voice.

"Yeah. I stayed with Jeno, though. He was a better mentor, in full honesty." You pouted. "Ah, right. The mentor told me I made him proud." You said like a puppy who was complimented by their owner.

"He did, huh?" He said, before he raised his hand from the steering wheel and patted your head. "I'm more proud of you." You smiled and felt all your insides go giddy as you wiggled cutely on your seat.

You drove through houses and past buildings before you arrived at the older man's house. You were in your first year of college when you ran away from your family's house and moved to a more far off place, somewhere they wouldn't be able to track you down. To support yourself, you rented a room in a boarding house, but had to eventually leave due to you having not enough money to pay for the rent. You tried so hard looking for a job and you did, but it didn't last long. Although, you were paid a good amount of money that helped you with your house renting and food. Of course, you found a very unstable job again, but was fired for your poor performance. Yet again, you were forced to leave the the place you rented and even thought of actually working at a gay bar. Not until you stumbled upon, your now bestfriend, Jeno who offered you a shared room with him in his apartment, which you gladly took.

Jeno was one of your coworkers that you never really got to interact with, so seeing now that he's your roommate, you had to eventually get to know him more and you two grew closer together, becoming the best of friends that you two are now. It was quite coincidental that you two were studying at the same university, so it was a shock for the both of you. You two were roommates 'til the end of your first year, when you met Jaehyun on that faithful day, who was generous enough to invite you to live under the same roof as him. At first, you were very hesitant, but with the agreement he had set between you two, who were you to refuse? Like you said before, you were only up for it because of the money and pleasure.

"Daddy?" You called out to him. In the agreement, you were free to call him anything you wanted if you two were in public, but when it's just the two of you, that nickname should be the one used AND only that. He hummed in reply as his eyes never left the rear view mirror, parking the car in the garage. "Do you ever... er, I know it's a very unnecessary question, but..." You chuckled with hurt on your voice. "... Do you ever get tired of me?"

Who doesn't love a goofball? In the first half of the movie, Chase is basically perfect. He's sweet, funny, not all caught up in his ego, and actually pays attention to what the girls around him are saying, not just to what he wants to hear. If not for the whole... it was all an act to get close to Caleb and try to steal his magic thing, Chase would actually be a damn good high school boyfriend. 9 Jack Benjamin

Y'all. Y'all. Words cannot describe how much I love Jack. Pretty sure I've made this clear. Come on! You know he and Mickey had to be back-to-back - they're practically the same character! 😂 Frank is Mickey... slightly more grown up. He's still a disaster, but he's respectful of boundaries, he's caring, he's funny in a dry, witty way that I just adore, and hoo lordy that man is a giver! 🥴🥵 Honestly, if he didn't smoke and didn't ditch Daphne in the middle of a party hours away from everything familiar to her surrounded by strangers to go do drugs, I'd call Frank perfect. He's smart, he's funny - pretty sure Sebastian is incapable of playing anyone who's not delightfully snarky lol. He's pragmatic when he needs to be but there's also nothing he wouldn't do or risk for the ones he loves. This man is husband material and I cannot be convinced otherwise! So why isn't he #1? Before that fucking closeted shitbag broke his heart and stomped on it for good measure, TJ was clean and sober for months, he was happy, he was playing piano again, he was pulling himself together. Not only would he be an amazing boyfriend, but his partner would get the extra joy of getting to watch their love and devotion to him be the thing that saves this beautiful man's life. It's not healthy overall to tie your self worth and will to live to a relationship, but if he found the right person who would be there for him through all of life's shit and stick it out, I think he'd be okay. I don't know but this whole masculinity/femininity discourse is a bit dicey to me. Especially since, as RM said, the lines of what it means to be masculine is disappearing.

It's easy for us to say he expresses his femininity through clothes and skirts, pink tattoos and what not but frankly as a gay woman I am more attracted to his kindness, his emotional honesty and maturity as well as his nurturing side. Those are the traits I see as more feminine.

I associate his spirit of competitiveness, his smartness, his ambitiousness, and his protective tendencies to traditional designs of masculinity. That is the bit of him I feel he shares with the others who present as "masculine."

Traditional traits of masculinity includes but isn't limited to being a protector, a provider, strong both emotionally and physically as well as the negative traits I don't like such as non caring, emotionless, aggressive etc

RM talks about how they 'as men' didn't do this or that, didn't have that gift exchange culture until Jimin introduced it. And it's like that to him is what masculinity is. Pfft.

In that sense I think Jimin and V are very similar. They are both very naturally caring and nurturing and I consider that very 'feminine' qualities even though physically they look totally different from eachother.

Unfortunately, it is those qualities most people ignorantly associate with bottomness, submissiveness or being low ranking gay. Beta male is it? Let them come for me I don't care.

I'm a femme sub and do consider myself 'bottom' sometimes but I'm attracted to girls who have these exact traits these people associate with "bottomness" rather than those they consider 'tops'. And it's like that's not how things work out here. Lmho.

Based on these straight people's definitions and understanding of top and bottom, I'm a top basically- which is just weird to me. I don't know about you, but it seems to me the more 'top' a person seems to be to them the more 'submissive' they are likely to be in their intimate relationships?

Yes I'm a girl. Yes, I like to be cared for and nurtured. If a girl don't have these qualities I don't find them attractive or feminine. I would classify such girls more masculine leaning regardless of their heels and lipsticks or how they look physically. Know what I mean?

That bigender symbol was a very specific thing he drew on his body among a collection of art he finds meaningful. Of all the symbols in the world he could draw inspiration from that it what he chose. The youth, young forever and all those temptorary tattoes have some form of meaning to him but not the bigender symbol? I want to know why.

People like to dismiss the queer traits in him in order to affirm his straightness which I find disturbing. Ignoring it would not make him any less queer than he already is.

And you are right. There are a lot of misconceptions about 'androgynous' identities. Being possibly bigender don't mean he wants to transition into a full blown woman. If that's the case he would be transgender not bigender. I don't know why anyone would assume we mean he wants to be a woman when we say he might be bigender. That's just nuts. No amount of huffing and puffing will make that symbol 'straight person symbol.' That's the elephant in the room and so of course they are gonna have to dismiss it.

Jimin is not a crossdresser either and that is not why we think he is queer and possibly bigender. He made that clear when, after he said he thought he looked pretty in feminine clothes, he said he didn't want to be that kind of person. The fact he even had to clarify that is sus to me.

I find the topic of cross dressing particularly interesting when it comes to BTS and Kpop in general. I do believe some of these idols use the cover of fanservice and woke culture to live out their queer fantasies. Thus it's fascinating watching them cross dress, do drag, or homoerotic fanservices.

There are times I find certain things Jimin says about his gender contradictory but that is community business. There are times I think he identifies firmly as a cis man who just looks androgynous and exhibits both feminine and masculine qualities like any other man- we are all never a 100% anything. But then he turns around and does stuff like tattooing the bigender symbol on him or talking about being 'Filter and claiming those really queer labels or hinting at it.

I look at him and go- sir you're Asian. What makes you think you are more feminine than the average Asian man? Where is it? How do you express that feminity in your Bigender? Do you express a femininity above what your bandmates express within the group with their feminine clothings and accessories? Or even beyond what we see in Kpop?

It makes me really suspicious about his culture's view on masculinity. For whatever reason it seems he don't see himself as a typical 'man' within their culture. Not to diagnose him but I do feel he sometimes exhibits traits of body dysmorphia which may be stating the obvious at this point.

I don't know if he thinks he looks or acts stereotypically gay- as per the stereotypes of queerness within their culture. I mean the others used to regard him suspiciously?? *Cough JK💀

Cast against the backdrop of Kpop, he don't look out of place to me. Besides his physical looks, I don't find him genderly ambiguous at all as an Asian man- throughwestern lens, sure, definitely ambiguous. If you are new to him his looks can be confusing, but once you get used to him you find he leans more towards masculinity than femininity.

And so it's fascinating to me that he struggles with his masculinity sometimes especially within the group. He is constantly defending it, projecting it, or doing something to it.

I know the gender of Kpop idols does not accurately reflect the gender ideals and culture of their society but this is interesting to me. I'd have to look into it.

I often wonder if it's because over the years, he's been more conscious of how he appears to us? Especially for someone who used to suppress a part of himself in order to project his masculinity. Whatever 'femininity' he believes he has, I don't think we've fully seen it yet. l don't think he has showed us that. He's just been revealing aspects of it here and there gradually. In my opinion.

I wonder what Bigender means to him. What femininity and masculinity means to him. I wish he could talk about these things openly. I'll sip that tea. Too bad they don't do them solo Vlives again. Too too bad. It helps us connect and understand them on a deeper level.

One person said when we were discussing his recent 'hyper masculine' phase that he might be experiencing a shift in his gender identity where he is identifying strongly yet temporarily as a manly man- I couldn't weigh in on that cos I'm not bigender so I wouldn't know. But if he does go through shifts like that where he alternates between Male and female then there would have come a time he shifted to identity mostly as feminine and we would have seen that too which I don't think has ever been the case. Perhaps because he doesn't show us? But then again, I wouldn't know. All these shifts could very well be going on in his head on a psychological level if indeed he is bigender. We will never know.

All I know is, he is bigender or hinted at being bigender and if you find him attractive you are gay or queer regardless of whether you identify as man or woman or other. I'm gay, JK is gay, all Tuktukkers are gay cos they can't seem to get him off their minds- in fact all Tuktukkers are NOT GAY WE DO NOT CLAIM THEM.

I know when we say feminine people quickly jump to a traditional notion of it and so they outrightly reject the label of bigender for Jimin but that's a very narrow minded not to mention binary view on things. Bigender could mean he identifies as Man and some other gender- female is not the only other gender next to Male. He uses Male pronouns, identifies as man but expresses both masculine and feminine qualities. That's equally valid as a form of bigendered identity.

On his sexuality bit, I don't know. I like to use the umbrella term gay for him but if I had to label him specifically- not that it's my place to- Bi or queer has always been my go to for him because I do think he is attracted to both girls and boys but leans towards- men💀

It's not like I can call him gay, he could very much be a lesbian who knows with this bigender identity stuff. Lmho. Kidding.

The bigenders I've come across don't use labels at all. Some just use gay or queer and keep it pushing.

Favourite thing about them:

i think it's his competence which he's very proud of. he's built himself up since he was a kid and yes, i am sad about that too, but he is also just doing So Well by himself. he can take on anyone, can survive from anything, can outsmart even god (and i will bet on that). he got shitty cards when he was born but he made the best out of them so who's the real winner here

Least favourite thing about them:

how he keeps pushing xiuxiu aside and hiding things from her. and i know he thinks it's for her own good blah blah blah but Let Her Be There With You. she can take it, she's a badass too and she deserves to know things the same way you and wu xie do. she's not some fragile girl you need to put in a golden cage, she will kick your ass any day

Reviewing the Grishaverse Couples (Canon and Non-Canon/Alternate Universe) just because I can, here we go:

These are not based *strictly* on the books, but rather the Netflix show, which appears to have spawned ✨all the ships✨ as of late.

DISLAIMER: I don't hate any ships! And I won't tolerate any slander. Creativity is the core to all fandoms, and that's what shipping (canon or otherwise) is ultimately all about. Cool? Cool.

CANON COUPLES:

Darkling/Alina aka DARKLINA: What I came for TBH, though not necessarily what kept me watching through the end (damn you, episode 5! you got me so confused! ahhh but also corruption arc for Alina? hmmmm) Jessie and Ben have chemistry in spades, and Ben emotes well for an ancient asshat. These two have great fic potential.

Mal/Alina aka MALINA: Sweet! A little boring to me initially tbh, but much better on rewatch. They are each other's safe haven, and there's something really lovely about that. I like them together.

Kaz/Inej aka KANEJ: GOD TIER. THEY'VE RUINED EVERYTHING ELSE FOR ME. NOTHING EVEN COMES CLOSE. THE FUCKING PINING BITCH. HE LOVES HER. SO SO MUCH. 1000000000/10.

Full disclosure: I came for Darklina, but stayed for Kanej. And, at this rate, will happily suffer countless seasons where the most they do is maybe hold hands but also Netflix please let them heal their trauma together and kiss at least once for my poor shipper heart PLEASE

Nina/Matthias aka HELNIK: They're cute. Almost a little too on-the-nose with the tropes for me, personally, but the actors make it work.

Jesper/Stable Boy: Honestly? Good for Jesper. The only person on the show who actually managed to get laid onscreen. He deserves it.

Genya/David: Also very cute, though they don't necessarily occupy much brain space. I like that David is this awkward little dork but he's just. So good for Genya. It's very pure and she really needs that.

Darkling/Zoya: Zoya, baby, you deserve better. That said, I wish the show had explored their backstory a bit more. These two would clearly put the T in toxic (Aleksander largely being the one to blame here, of course).

Ivan/Feydor: As someone else put it, these two can be summarized simply by -- be gay and do crimes. They're real cute. If only they weren't Team Darkling.

NON-CANON/ALTERNATE UNIVERSE:

AKA time for some ✨multishipper controversy✨

Darkling/Inej aka DARKEJ: I am extremely biased since I've written for them, but honestly? I would like to convert you all. This pairing has POTENTIAL. The sinner and the saint, the immortal and the ordinary. Also they both have this elegant, shadowy grace to them. Bonus points? Kaz getting a whiff of this nonsense and meticulously planning how to cut up Aleksander into a million tiny little pieces lol.

Darkling/Kaz aka DARKAZ: Sexy. So so sexy. Not in a physical sense (for obvious reasons' on Kaz' end, unless you go AU with that aspect, too) but more a battle of brains. Would inevitably end with Kaz slitting the Darkling's throat, somehow as he should, lmao.

Kaz/Alina aka KAZALINA: I didn't understand this, initially. They barely interacted and Kaz seemed more the type to drag Alina by the kefta than woo her. However, I saw a bunch of people on TikTok attacking someone who made a fantastic AU video edit, (and by a bunch I mean at least two attack videos amassing 10K+ likes total) -- so now I ship it purely out of spite, LOL. It only works in an AU where Inej doesn't exist or Kanej is somehow still endgame, but you know what? The saint and the nonbeliever has some potential. I dig it.

Kaz/Jesper aka KESPER: There's some basis for it in the books. I do prefer them as friends (and come on! Wylan!) but again, I get it.

Jesper/Inej: I... want whatever y'all are smoking bc it must be AMAZING (I kid, I kid). While I can't fully claim to understand it, I love both characters, want nothing but the best for them, and am not entirely opposed to it given the right premise. And Jesper did say he'd kill a man for Inej pretty much without hesitation...

Kaz/Jesper/Inej: OT3 vibes. I haven't read anything with these three just yet but I think, done right, it could be absolutely perfect.

Inej/Alina: I feel like Inej's piety would actually get in the way of a true relationship but I think it's cute as a one-sided crush, Inej on Alina.

Mal/Inej: This one is probably the most random of the Inej ships, but I'm team "Give Inej All The Love" so I'll let this one slide. Also, Amita and Archie low-key have crazy chemistry off-set so again. I get it.

Mal/Kaz: ... does this even exist? Lol I think Mal would definitely drive Kaz up the goddamn wall

Mal/Darkling: Objectively hilarious to me on several counts LMAO (that fight scene at the end of episode 8 PLS). BUT there's a fine line between love and hate... maybe it's not Alina they were after but each other all along

Alina/Genya: Again, god-tier. Also, makes Genya's later betrayal of Alina extra tasty in my opinion. So yeah, add in a dash of heartbreak why not?!?

Alina/Zoya: Enemies to lovers excellence. Though Zoya clearly has some internalized self-hatred to work through (baby WHAT was that half-breed comment?), I don't hate it. Maybe some day...

The double standards when it comes to show!Sansa is so blatant that IDK who they think they are fooling with that. "Everyone got dumber to make show!Sansa smarter!!!" First of all, like you said why is it always Sansa did this Sansa did that, but when it's other characters D&D make them do that? But also umm did you mean Dany? Tyrion lost all his wits the moment he left KL and became part of her storyline. Jon lost all his characterization in order to make Jonono somewhat work. Daario x Dany dynamics is the complete opposite of the books: It's Dany who acts like a lovesick fool (which is fine, she's a teenager) (but oh ofc it can't happen on this show bc "sTrOnG fEmAlE ChArAcTeRs" can't have crushes esp unrequited, that's a role deserved only for characters like Sansa) and Daario is the one who doesn't care. Missandei was killed in order to soften Dany's turn, to make it about grief. Even cutting Missandei's scene in EP4 was to make Dany look good. Imagine if we had had the scene of Missandei leaving Dany alone in the feast to be with her loved one (just like everybody else did) in the same episode where Dany chose the IT over saving Missandei. Or better yet if they had followed up with their set-up and let Missandei and Grey Worm inform Dany that they wanted to leave. End of EP4 would look a lot different then, wouldn't it? And it's not just bending the characters out of her way, the fighting pit scene is vastly different too, and it's again to make D look good: Harpy attacks, Drogon comes to save Mommy, they leave. In the books, Drogon comes bc it smells blood and starts eating people in the arena, people rightly so attack it, Dany chooses her dragon over "her people" and flies away with it and at that pointed she is too excited about flying to care for how Drogon is burning people alive.

D&D favored the characters they liked, or the characters they knew the fans like and the characters they knew they could use as cashcows. Tyrion never molested Sansa, never even admitted he was attracted to a child, they turned him killing Shae in vengeance into self-defense. He doesn't hate Cersei, never talks about wanting to rape her and her children, as he does in the books. They wanted more Tywin, which made Arya look dumb when she didn't name him to Jaqen H'ghar. No one goes around blaming Arya for being stupid, suddenly everyone understands it's D&D's fuck-up.

Sansa has been sidelined in her own story in KL from the beginning, they took all her little moments of agency. They erased her manipulating Joffrey, fooling Tyrion. They mocked her for her crush on Loras, silly girl doesn't realize he's gay hehe, when in the books she is aware Loras isn't interested in her but by then she cares about getting away from Lannisters more than a true love marriage. Margaery became a more important character than Sansa bc sexy seductress is more exciting. Sansa didn't suddenly become a smart woman adept at being Lady of a major house with all that it entails, she didn't suddenly become a shrew political leader who understands how courts work. They erased her political arc, they erased her managing a household in Vale, they erased her intelligence from the very beginning. What happened in the last seasons wasn't them making Sansa more important or smarter, it was course correction bc they fucked up her journey but they had to deliver her book ending.

The way “Jonono” makes me laugh each time I see it! I think the goal is convince themselves, anon. As bad as we had it with the ending of the show, as unhappy as we were, can you imagine being a Dany stan? Thinking she would be embraced for killing Cersei? And you have to watch that happen? Watch Jon kill her to protect Sansa? Or maybe they’re an Arya fan. Can you imagine thinking Arya would be QitN and instead have to watch Sansa be crowned? Sansa didn’t stay in her place and they have to convince themselves that she will in the books because what they envisioned is impossible unless she does. They’re lashing out because we were meant to be proven wrong about everything, not them. So, they hyperfocus on show!sansa and her fans because we took what was theirs. Not that they’ll ever admit it, but I think that’s what it comes down to.

Instead of creating elaborate theories about why Sansa doesn’t matter and what D&D changed to make it so she did in the show, all they have to do is realize everyone was mischaracterized to hide Dark Dany—even Dany. Tyrion can’t be his villainous self or people might begin to suspect something when he’s on team Dany. Jon has to become an inconsistent mess too or the audience will begin to think there’s something wrong with conquering. Sansa has to be possibly traitorous or someone might think, wait, why does Dany deserve to rule these people? Why shouldn’t they be free? Cersei has to be on the throne rather than Aegon to keep the “Dany is saving people” idea afloat.

D&D made the wrong decision when they chose to get to the ending that way, but as soon as you accept, not even full scale Dark Dany, just the fact that to Westeros she is a threat, that whatever her intention she is an agent of chaos, that Tyrion will want to use her and that everyone in Westeros has reasons to fear her, well, then you see how D&D’s choices, while stupid, were towards one end, and yet, instead of acknowledging that, instead of admitting that D&D were building to Dany burning KL for seasons but didn’t want the audience to realize, they come up with elaborate theories for how/why Sansa still doesn’t matter. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Re: Tyrion, there are a lot of people who view his book incarnation very fondly and fully expect him to be a dragon rider/save the word. Apparently, wanting to rape your sister doesn’t make you a bad person but disagreeing with your brother or not liking his gf who threatens your life or breaking a promise does. Interesting. Dany who profits from slavery and orders the death of children is a kind soul, but Sansa allowing a man who raped, tortured, and skinned people to get eaten by his own dogs is too far and now she’s a villain. Interesting. Jon can betray her trust by giving away her freedom, the freedom of their people, and she should be grateful, but Sansa betraying his trust to save him/the South/Westeros means she’s eViL. Interesting. Clearly show Sansa is different from book Sansa (who is incredibly merciful and kind), but their criticism isn’t evenhanded. Why is what everyone else does fine and dandy, but Sansa is the one character no one is permitted to like unless you condemn her. And while you condemn her, don’t get confused and condemn others. You can’t condemn the far worse acts of the book characters because they’re morally grey. Condemn show!Sansa though, that shit isn’t allowed. Their stance is basically, “You don’t love her if you don’t condemn her” which makes no sense, anon. None at all.
