i think theres something a little fun and interesting about media franchises in other languages where only one entry was ever localized in english, officially or otherwise

like, its obviously a shame that we never got the other entries in these series and franchises but also sometimes never having the sequels or prequels for something can turn it from a normal story into something accidentally surreal, and i think i just find it fascinating because it comes not from the initial writing process but from adaptation instead
