kuroo's starting to get comfortable at your place. youre cooking breakfast while he's in the shower - the door's ajar and you can hear him sing off-key. your cat is sitting curiously in front of the bathroom door because despite being eight years old and seeing you survive a shower every time, is still convinced humans get mortally wounded by the sprays of water.

you dont notice the change in tune or lack of water sprays as you flip kuroo's egg. he doesn't like them sunny side up, so with your tongue sticking out in concentration, you try not to break the yolk during the maneuver.

thats when you hear the first shriek. and another, inhuman in its octave but so kuroo that theres no doubt in your mind. you start to walk towards the bathroom, a question on your tongue when he yells,

"who taught you to bite defenseless people! i am sitting here naked because nature called but it certainly didnt call for you!"

you can't help the snort that leaves you as you bend over laughing. he whines your name, "can you call him? oh woe is me, my poor ankles," he cries and you start calling out to your cat. opting to give kuroo some privacy, you close the door after you've succesfully retrieved the culprit. an ashamed "thank you!" is heard and you shake your head before walking back to the kitchen to finish breakfast. you're glad he's comfortable at your place now but embarassed by the behavior of your cat. you count your lucky stars he's a cat person, too.

duck duck buck if no one else has asked about it <3

The duck duck buck fic is my crack fic that's getting feels in it because I am physically unable to write an Eddie that's not in love with Buck apparently lol basically Buck tells everyone he never go ducked, the jeep thing, where people leave rubber ducks on jeeps, and everyone decides to do something about it. On the same day. So Buck goes from no ducks to a bunch of weirdly specific ducks after supposedly random run ins with the team. All while Eddie is with him the whole day with one of way too many ducks he bought in his pocket questioning if he should give the duck to Buck or not. But writing something that's supposed to be funny is not all that easy for me so she's moving very slowly.

When I was at work the entire time I was thinking of the AE imagines I got. (Specifically the pimp outfit because that episode is my fave anyway, lol. COCAINE TUESDAYS). But when I envision AE as your pimp I see him and the reader in New York because it was super seedy, dangerous, and just amazing in the 70’s. When Times Square was called The Deuce and was lined with pimps and prostitutes and porn everywhere. (Also highly recommend that show I watch it like every few months. But James Franco is in it in case he triggers anyone.)

This is a bit of a weird thing to observe but Ima do it anyway.

For as long as I can remember, whenever pregnancy appeared in my dreams, it was always in a nightmarish setting and was itself part of the nightmarish plot.

Last night was the first time it wasn't nightmarish, ever. I don't know what that means, but maybe it's just one more example of how God is working on my fears.

#Not that the fear of pregnancy particularly has a reason to be worked on right now #Considering I'm virgin and shunning romantic engagements more or less #But who knows lol #And yes #Pregnancy has been one of my MAJOR fears for years #Right up there with rape and sex trafficking #... probably because I found out about the truth of them and how they're connected on the same night #All because my dad was annoyed with my sister and I for playing in his car #I was six #I didn't need to know about sex trafficking at 6 #But I did and it has seriously impacted my view of sex and pregnancy #It's taken a lot of studying the Bible and praying to deal with #It's encouraging that it's paying off
