how did you get into typo + figured out your enneagram?

Got into it in middle school because I was mentally ill and took every personality quiz I could find😭 I would literally spend hours on quizlet. So naturally I just stumbled upon mbti at one point and then got into ennea after getting tumblr at 14. My first type was Intj because thats what the test gave me 💀

I figured out I was an Isfp because I sat down my sisters and made them read through horrid cringe mbti posts and they went "well yea the artist fits you most ofc" (cus im good at drawing) and yea it was right 😭 Sometimes u just gotta go simple and admit to yourself you're a stereotype

With baby's first ennea core I went for cp6w5 actually. I just read through the description and went "yeah this works for me 100%". My first tritype + iv was spsx 648 because I was convinced Im this mean and dark person, also any abused kid identifies with 8 at one point lol.

Then people told me I wasn't aggressive enough, that I was too caring and a doormat, so I typed as 9w8 sxsp. The 9 lasted for a couple of years, turned to 9w1. The spsx became sxsp cus ppl said I wasnt contra. Its funny how people used to tell me I was way too mellow and chill to be contraflow and now they all insist I'm overly aggressive and so so so undeniably contra😭 The only reason I went from sxsp to sxso is because ppl agreed I was very sp-blind (as u can see, I've never changed anything about my type by myself. I usually always asked ppl around me how I come across) and I'm very obviously sp-blind so it was a good call.

I only stopped typing as a 9 like..a bit more than a year ago? I went from 946 to a 2 core 295 tritype. I had always really related to 2 but never typed that way because people insisted I was too much of an edgelord and too selective of ppl to be one. Now I think its just being cp6 + FiSe + sx-dom. So I went with 2 for a bit, but honestly it didn't make much sense and the 5fix was just so I could blame all my obvious headcore behavior on it😭 goofy.

But yeah then I just went with cp6 again a couple months ago, can't believe I typed my core correctly at 14 and then it took me 6 years to type that way again. I think its accurate, the only thing im iffy on is if im a p6 or cp6 (im sxso so its kinda hard to tell for me)

I guess my way of typing myself has always been about getting feedback/relating to others but it wasn't always right. My advice would be (if you're asking for advice) to keep it simple, to not dive into your own traumas or passions or whatever too much. Thats not typology, thats personal. Just think about what makes you you in the most basic way, how do you react to others, what do others see? What actions do you take? I think one can often blind oneself a lot. You only know whats inside your head, not whats subconsciously lying in your brain and you can get very caught up in your own idea of self-image. Other people have a better chance at guessing this. They see your body language, your behavior, your essence much clearer tbh. Just..base it on tangible things in your life.

I dunno, the whole thing reminded me of you, in a way, how he could sort of flip between being this funny, witty guy who was making these jokes about the twins that they couldn't even understand because they were too drunk hahaha but also doing the responsible and reliable thing when it came down to it, you know? he felt sorta like, an old soul who still knew how to have fun, which I think you'd really like because its like this balance of being cultured and interesting and intelligent both emotionally and practically... but also letting loose and cracking jokes :) I can see you LOVING the energy he brings. he just seemed so strong and mature and confident in himself, and he was so approachable and just easy to chat with. so good at reading the energy of the room! A game that involved who would cave in first, who would come running back unable to take the heat, seeing each other frolicking with other people and stoking the flames of jealousy. It was toxic to say the least, but you two didn’t care.

“What is this?” He chuckled and took your black hair in between his fingers, his seemingly innocent eyes disappeared behind his smile, “Are you perhaps, jealous?”

Physical Description: long straight black hair that reaches the middle of my back, dark brown eyes (that apparently makes me look like i have eyeliner sometimes) with long thick black eyelashes, light-medium neutral skin, 5'5", i apparently have long legs, thick thighs, cute butt (LMAO im just listing wut ppl have described of me too sdfkj), soft hands with quite long fingers, pretty basic body i would say sdfjhsd, and i apparently make things look expensive (i love fashion) i would say the best way to describe what i wear is probably (dark) academia but i like just wearing whatever i like--i don't like to limit myself to a certain aesthetic.

bestie i was reading old asks about false god to try and find something, this is exactly what i wanted but it works.

i like your interpretation of that line, and it makes sense, but do you think it could also mean exactly what she sang, like, nyc is his fave town (yes ik he chose london over nyc, but maybe it’s one of his fave cities within the usa) and that she’s saying “why are you looking out at the window? staring at the town when I AM YOUR FAVE TOWN im nyc” does this even make sense lmao?

Maybe 🤨 I guess that take would make sense if the fight happened while they were in NYC and he was literally looking out at the city. Like that time when she was in the middle of the Australian leg of rep tour, and he was in New York doing press and she flew 20 hours just to go see him for 2 days.

And because the song covers that general timeframe, I think part of it has to be inspired by that specific situation. Like she would've been tired and jetlagged as fuck, and they hadn't seen each other in weeks. She didn't spend all that time on a plane so just they could fight and shut each other out iykwim.

So yeah, that would stack too but I still think she's talking about him being distant and closed off during a fight, and she doesn't feel like his favourite town. Like it's such a typical ISFP x ESFJ dynamic

He sure does, but he doesn’t really know what it is. He mostly just thinks he’s going literally insane. It’s a pretty big reason for him not sticking around people very much even though he craves affection.

No not really, Archer has a hard time, now more than ever trying to keep his simple life together, he’d prefer it not change as much as possible.

Is your OC a martyr?

He tries pretty hard not to be, or at least to not show that he is. He sees the truth though.

Archer is pretty straight forward, if he fucked up he’ll say something. But he’ll make things up for others if he like them enough.

I guess it depends? If its not something that matters very much, compromise will be easier, but if he thinks it’s important then he’s going to be harder to bargain with.

Only his dogs and his friends needs get put before his own. Anyone else? so sorry.

He’s addicted to taking in animals? Seems harmless, but in truth he does it so he has a reason to keep living, which isn’t healthy. I can’t say he’d still be alive if he hadn’t taken Ranger and Fletcher with him the day those raiders killed the rest of his dogs.

Does your OC have any phobias? If so, where did they come from?

He’s terrified of needles. Thanks mom and dad.

Is your character empathetic?

He is, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to care.

Is your character observant?

Yes, very. Probably because he works with animals a lot, and its very important to notice their body language, so he can read people and situations pretty well. Plus he’s more of a sniper so being observant is important.

What’s one of your OC’s proudest moments of themselves?

He was really proud when he finished building his house, and all the furniture for it.

Do they get jealous easily? Do they feel bad if they do?

He doesn’t get jealous very easily, but even when he does he doesn’t bring it up. He’ll sulk around a bit, and when asked he’ll say he fine. He wont really feel bad about if? Its just an emotion, it happens sometimes.

What instantly irritates them or puts them in a bad mood?

Seeing people hurt animals for no reason. He will throw down. Might not win, but its the thought that counts.

Are they harsh on themselves?

YES.

Nah he’s pretty fast to admit when he’s doing something wrong.

I mean i didn’t make him like super ugly? But i wasn’t going for amazingly attractive either, so average i guess?

He wears a mask all the time so he really doesn’t care. I mean at one point he had tore most of his hair out and just had a few scattered clumps clinging to his head, but people couldn’t see his face so it didn’t matter to him.

He got some damn big emotional problems, and he recognizes some, like his slowly diminishing will to live. But things like his urge to have someone else control his entire existence he doesn’t really realize are problems.

Everyone starts off with a set amount of respect. You either get more or have it taken away depending on your actions.

Arch can be pretty funny, if he has anything its a sense of humor.

Yeah he does, what can you do. No guilt will stop him.

He has two dogs and sometimes he works with a stinky man. He thinks Gage is a friend but does Gage think he is a friend? Who knows if Gage will ever tell him.

He likes talking to people, but if there are too many people around he gets overwhelmed pretty fast.
