About Mary

Stars I know none of you know about Mary in B*C S*h*rl*ck or even understand what I'm saying but still I need to say this:

1. I loved her character it was super complex it's too bad she was wasted potential and completely ruined by writers who have proved themselves that they hate women characters.

2. In my canon rewrite she doesn't exist because j*hnl*ck is my OTP sorry not sorry (if you ship with one of them fantastic! congratulations! you're valid! but so am I) HOWEVER I will say that in at least one (1) universe she does show up but it's not canon compliant

3. My version of Mary is this: she definitely had been working for Moriarty from the beginning and was planted into John's life I'm talking being one of his assassins for hire, was there during The Pool Scene™ holding the rifle kind of There.

4. No seriously, she should've been there with Seb.astia.n Mor.an (who definitely doesn't exist in canon but fanon says he does and so do I).

Ma.ry Mo.rst.an and Seba.stia.n Mo.ran working for Ji.m Mori.art.y it's a "Mor-" party LOL

5. Moriarty, knowing he was going to fake his own death and that Sherlock probably was too, definitely would've enjoyed planting Mary into John's life just to fuck with Sherlock.

5a. She befriends Tex too on purpose bc firstly, xe is one of John's best friends but secondly because Jim asked her to. Before Jim came back, Mary would send requested updates to Jim on how Tex was doing mentally and was given instructions to dissuade Tex from moving on to someone new.

6. I like the thought of gaslight girlboss gatekeep Mary playing mind games with John and Sherlock and Tex it's very fun if not cruel. Mary sees them all as a job but like maybe she actually develops real emotions for them and grows to care for them in her own way.

7. Tex and Mary are good friends right up until Mary shoots Sherlock and Tex finds out that she shot him. Then Tex absolutely hates her and no, won't forgive her for it come hell or high water, although of course Tex still acts civil around her and treats her with basic respect she deserves. It's hard and probably fun for the audience to see this character who generally likes everyone have to struggle with exercising kindness and respect towards someone xe feels genuinely wronged xem, especially because I don't think Mary would apologize to xem.

Black women were (and in some cases still) not allowed to care for their own children or those within their community. And when they did prioritize caring for their own kids, White women forced laws to punish them; all because they didn't want to take care of their own damn kids that badly

Queen Ramonda isn't a mammy. She's a mother. A grieving mother at that

She has her duties as queen, but that doesn’t negate her parental instincts

Yes they needed to bring Riri into Wakanda under circumstances, but as a mother AND a queen to a whole nation, Ramonda recognizes that Riri is just a scared child. She misses her mother, who is also probably panicking over her daughter's sudden disappearance

Angela Bassett as Queen Ramonda demonstrated a brilliant performance of showcasing a ruler who must put up a strong and tactical image against those attempting to take advantage of her kingdom's weakened strength

But when it comes to her people, especially her family, she is just as human and fragile

You won't get that kind of emotional range from a caricature

Also a major point in Black Panther was to convince Wakanda to stop abandoning or being indifferent towards others' suffering within the diaspora, so yknow 🤷🏾‍♀️

Yknow what’s interesting with that whole “would you react differently if it was another creator?” No. No I wouldn’t. i'll be real honest, i....... don't like namari all that much. i really like her design and she's cool and i did manage to mostly get rid of my initial dislike of her, yknow for leaving the group at the very beginning of the manga. i just disliked her and shuro immediately for that but namari proved she's actually a decent person and she had her (valid) reasons to leave n it's all good (i mean she still left them in the worst situation possible and it sucks that that was the moment she finally decided to prioritize herself esp when falin was the one who literally saved her life but... still understandable n honestly marcille and chil did risk it all for their friend in a way that simply cannot be expected of everyone). plus after reading her part in the world guide... ugh... she deserved so much better okay. what i'm trying to say is i simply don't care for her much but i do a little it's just not enough yet. she's absolutely the type of character i might wake up one day and be like "omg she's literally PERFECT!!! how did i not realize that all this time!?" lol. or maybe not 🤷🏾‍♀️

Yep. I don't want interaction from endogenic systems/their supporters because countless traumagenic systems have told me they're ableist. And there are also racist and culturally appropriative endogenic systems (tulpa systems), so I extra don't feel comfy with them interacting. I also never see anyone besides traumagenic systems call out tulpa systems, and that reaaaally bothers me and makes me even more uncomfortable. And then people are mad at me for setting boundaries. So yeah, I've been getting lots of angry anons, people harassing me on posts that aren't even related to syscourse, and people saying rude things about me on their blogs. And it wouldn't even matter if I changed my stance because it'll upset people but so will keeping my stance. So, yknow, I'm fucked 🤷🏾‍♀️

But yeah, people are angry with me for that and are calling me ableist and a "sysmed" or "traumascum," both of which are triggering to me because they remind me of transmed/truscum (also called trumeds). And trumeds have been horrible to me multiple times in my life, so seeing the words sysmed/traumascum and seeing people call me that just brings back memories of the harassment I've gone through with trumeds. It's not a good time. But whatever, it doesn't matter to them.

I mean, it is possible, and it's also possible that they're the exact opposite. I try not to speculate too much about things we have little to no information about yknow? I know a lot of people in fandoms take "you don't know them" to mean to assume the worst, which I don't think is the flex people think it is.
