Meet Me at My Altar
Day 29 of 31 of Kinktober
Prompt: Begging/Pegging
Word Count: 1001
And God said, 'Let Misa Amane go feral.'.
Misa rocked back on her heels and looked over her bed. She had her evening planned. One that she had been planning for a week now. And she couldn’t wait for it to finally come to fruition. The rose petals were scattered on and around the bed. The scented candles were lit (because despite what was about to go down, Misa was a sucker for vanilla. And occasionally, a dash of irony). She was ready. All she needed was her consenting participant.
“Light…” she called from the top of the stairs, her silk robe flowing behind her.
However, Light was buried in work with L at his side. Nothing boiled Misa’s blood quite the way L did. It wasn’t that she didn’t like him. Far from it. She had no problem with L as a person. The way he got to be so close with her boyfriend? That’s what set Misa ablaze. That’s what she hated more than anything. It wasn’t fair. He exploited Light’s workaholic nature in order to be close to him. And Misa knew. She knew deep down that if Light could choose consequence free, he would run to L in a heartbeat. That’s what tonight would be about. So, he knew who he came home to.
“Light…” Misa called out again.
And much like last time, more silence. Misa would not be ignored. And she would not beg for Light’s affection. Not tonight.
“LIGHT!”
“Misa!” Light yelled back.
“L…” L was a little quieter than the others, “I’m sorry. Were we just yelling out names or…?”
“This doesn’t involve you, Ryuzaki.” Misa came down the stairs and took a quick look around. Just to make sure none of the other members of the task force were still lingering.
“What do you want, Misa?” Light asked, getting an eyeful of the young lady in front of him. And even Light could appreciate how beautiful she looked in the low lighting.
“You,” Misa sat in Light’s lap, “If you’re not too busy.”
“We’re still trying to catch a serial killer, Misa,” L pointed out, “We’re going to be busy.”
“Well,” Misa ran her finger down Light’s jaw, “That doesn’t mean Light can’t take a little break for a while, does it?”
“That’s exactly what that means,” L looked over at L and Misa together. And it made his stomach turn. I suppose I can’t fault you for your good taste, Misa. But either you’re so deep in denial, you’re drowning, or you’re much stupider than I give you credit for, “We’re busy. You’re going to have to save your poor attempts at flirting for a later date.”
“Or,” Misa wrapped her arms around Light’s neck, “Light and I can go upstairs, you can keep working, and everybody gets what they want.”
“I still need Light working down here,” L argued, “So, no. Not everyone gets what they want.”
“Light,” Misa demanded, “Come upstairs. I have a surprise for you.”
“L’s right, Misa,” Light took his side, only throwing fuel on Misa’s fire, “I need to keep working.”
“And you’re going to work yourself into the ground,” Misa grabbed Light by his wrist and dragged him upstairs, “More likely, Ryuzaki’s going to work you into the ground. And you don’t deserve that.”
“It’s not whether or not I deserve it,” Light took Misa by her shoulders the second they got to her door, “Misa, I appreciate you trying to help, but we need to get just a little more done tonight before we can-”
“Liiiiiiiiiight,” Misa whined, “Come on. Will you at least come see what I’ve been doing?”
“I can do that on the monitors.”
“Cameras wouldn’t do it justice.” That’s right. I forgot about those creepy ass cameras. I’m sure Ryuzaki’s watching us right now. You know what? I hope he is. I hope he sees I got what he wants. What he’ll never have.
“Fine,” Light caved, “Show me. What have you been up to?”
“You’ll see,” Misa brought Light into her room and showed him the altar to their love she built. Light froze at the sight, knowing exactly what came next. But Misa couldn’t have been prouder of herself, “Well? What do you think?”
“It’s very nice, Misa.” Because the last thing Light wanted to do was upset her, “And I know we don’t get to spend much time together, but I really do-”
“Please?” Misa batted her eyelashes at him, her ankles latching in Light’s lower back, “Light, I’ve hardly seen you all week. Please?”
“Well…” Ryuzaki should be able to finish up without me. He always goes on about how much smarter he is than me anyway. Maybe he can see just how much he needs me, “Alright.”
“Yay!” Misa opened up the closet door, “Because this is just the window dressing. Am I your goddess, Light?”
“Of course, you are, Misa,” Light sat at the edge of her bed, telling her whatever she wanted to hear. Just to speed things along, “Why do you ask?”
“Because,” Misa whipped out her strap, “That altar isn’t for you. It’s for me. And we’re going to make a sacrifice tonight.”
“Misa…” Light looked down at length of Misa’s strap and his blood ran cold, “What do you mean, we’re making a sacrifice tonight?”
“Just that,” Misa smirked a bit, pushing Light over onto her bed, “And look at that. You’re already laying at my altar. But see, you have way too many clothes on for this to work. I’m sure it said you needed to be naked to sacrifice yourself to your goddess in the Necronomicon. Didn’t it, Light?”
“Yes…” And Misa had him under her spell. Light started undoing every button and stripped down to his boxers.
“Good boy,” Misa ran her strap down his cheek, just to get him used to it, “Now…Are you ready for what comes next?”
“What comes next?” Light asked, his heart rate spiking.
“With any amount of luck, baby,” Misa kissed down the back of Light’s neck, “You…”
