Raph and mikey as sunset duo! It even goes w the rise theme!

Even cuter, donnie and mikey as smarts and crafts!

Annnnd someone ik irl suggested leo and raph as fire and water! Cos leo is def more chill and go w the flow guy and raph is more firey anger and passion plus it goes w their colours!

Edit2: Even tho I heard of the brawns and brains for donnie and raph, which both like sorta works but also kinda cliche and may not be the best rep of their duo. Tho I honestly think there isn't much moments w those 2 specifically. Both are kinda serious at times. Maybe the no duo or no no duo XD cos they shut down each others bs

All I can think of for leo, donnie and mikey is the little brothers trio or chaos and disaster.

Cassandra and april are for sure badass. And think they need a duo name cos I can see their dynamic so well. We've seen BOTH of them literally LAUGHING while they're in danger or fighting. Like the daredevil twins.

So when you're writing, sometimes you get a really good scene in your head. Could be anything, full of action or sad or triumphant. You just know it's awesome.

But for it to really work, you need to do a lot of writing before and after it. Your audience has to be engaged and emotionally connected enough to care about how amazing your scene is. And you have to make the stakes matter, so any earth-shattering you do can't be easily undone later. Otherwise what once felt meaningful will feel cheap.

And sometimes, that just seems like too much. So you just write the scene. Maybe a string of scenes, all of which would be amazing if only they had context and emotional weight.

In general this is fine, because it's a first draft. Or you're goofing around and don't intend to make the finished work.

But sometimes you end up with The Mandalorian Season Three

#and also the sequels let's be real #you can't jump from neat scene to neat scene #trashing context and story and lore whenever it's inconvenient #that does not make a coherent narrative #ugh #best ep is the one where Ragnar gets eaten bc at least that had an arc to it #nothing matters #the show ended with season 2 #I know a lot of this was probably exec meddling #and Disney's weird penchant for keeping the sequels canon #but not the OT #c'mon y'all #star wars #the mandalorian spoilers

To be honest I feel like as somehow Apo was able to let himself go more/be affectionate more with the Mile paper thingy than he would be with the real one in public.

It is so good to see that they let us in a little bit more in their own little world and starting to let go of their let’s say fear of how would the world react.

It is so beautiful how they helped each other through self-acceptance (Apo) and self-discover (Mile). I honestly love and respect them so munch. ❤️

if you mean physically affectionate 1) Mile standee can't move by itself and 2) yes, somewhat. like Apo would not give kisses to Mile in public in the view of fancams like he did to the shirt and the standee, but they're also at a work event. 99% of what we see of them interacting in public is in the context of work.

maybe I'm too old school but the PDA at work barometer of hypocrisy for this is if I saw a straight couple (Tom and Zendaya for example) promote their work and act more than at the level Apo (and Mile) has been regularly acting at would that be cool... and my personal answer is no.

So no I don't think Apo is holding himself back anymore and no I don't think he should do more either, especially in the context of work.

Also their relationship isn't for consumption. They can get to show us as much or as little as they want. I feel privileged to witness them sharing their happiness as it is.
