Question I wish I had thought to submit: was Matt ever considering ramifications for the blood pact Fjord and Caleb made in Dashila's lair? Because they handed him a blank check with that one.

i mean, ramifications how?

like, if you're talking about dashilla's table, we know what the effects of that would have been, she used that table to cause massive storms at sea above her lair, which would have sunk their ship, it's the closest they've ever gotten to a tpk bc getting out of the middle of the ocean with no ship would have been practically impossible

if you mean the handshake itself, i don't get the sense that was supposed to be magical at all? i think that was more of a symbolic gesture of trust between the two of them, made dramatic bc liam and travis enjoy the drama

Caleb’s “I’m always curious” to Fjord before they make a blood sacrifice gave me CHILLS! that entire interaction did, this with the conversations they had near the tower in Nicodranas is giving me so much hope for their interactions through the rest of the campaign. I love that they’re getting really into making connections between the characters now.
