I love that Nott/Veth consistently is protective of Caleb and refers to him as ‘my Caleb’ pretty much through the whole campaign. We’re almost 2/3rds through the campaign, they basically know everything about one another. I would argue that their relationship is one of if not the strongest inter-party relationships. 

He is and will always be her boy.

sometimes I caught myself thinking about that moment in c2 when the m9 first met king dwendal after the catedral fight, specifically the moment trent goes to talk to the nein and all of them just go and surround caleb like a literal wall between him and trent and I'm just-

there's something in this moment that always gets me in a way that no other moment of the campaign does? something about how this is possible the moment that solidifies to caleb that this people are actually his family and WILL get in the way to protect him from the man that is the personification of the worse things that happened in his life and his trauma even if they are literally in the middle of a court where most people would very likely be against them in a fight between him and their archmage, they're STILL gonna get on his side to protect him??? like wow these people know how powerful this man is and what he did to him and what he made he do... and they don't even hesitate in go in front and around him to protect him and i- this moment always makes me feel so much for this group of people hxudhdudgdudg *SCREAMS IN FOUND FAMILY*
