Do you guys ever think maybe Quackity fell in love with Wilbur because after how bad Karl and Sapnap hurt him he thought maybe loving someone like Schlatt again would be easier? At least with Schlatt, he knew what to expect in their relationship.

Sure, Schlatt was a mean old bastard, but he didn't pretend that he wasn't. Quackity never let himself get his hopes up with Schlatt. Either he was always right or he was pleasantly surprised by the other man. But at least he always felt he was somewhat in control, somewhat knew what to expect and how to protect his feelings.
