I wanna thank the beautiful, the lovely, and the talented @pinkfadespirit for making this gorgeous sketch of Isra and Bucky. I adore it so much, I could cry. I haven't written about them in a long while and seeing this fills me with so much inspiration already, I can't wait to crack open my laptop. I've also received the physical copy of the actual sketch itself in the mail just today and I'll have to find a good frame for it to preserve it. So, some of my OCs are very specifically inspired by others, like:

Aza: Princess Keeah from the Secrets of Droon books

Zalen: Lord Sparr from Secrets of Droon (this one is so funny to me because Sparr was kind of a serious villain and Zalen was always just a wannabe)

Negleeglo (who took a massive left turn in my work and became Seriito's grad student love interest): Galen from Secrets of Droon

New unnamed shifter warp witch in Nicea: Toast from Bee & Puppycat: Lazy in Space, Darla from Bicycle Boy (comic)

But then I have some that don't seem like they're inspired by someone, and then I go, "wait X is like Y…huh" and Y sort of becomes an inspiration. For example, in Nicea:

Declan: Alec Hardy from Broadchurch (played by David Tennant. yes they look a lot alike)
