NEW SHORT FILM!

This last year at Uni I was supposed to finish two short films, a 2D and a 3D one. I ended up focusing on the 3D one. So here is the official cover for my new 2D short film! 

“Millennials and how to identify them” is a series of short poems accompanied by animations describing my generation. I’ll be doing a presentation on it this Friday at the 3D Wire animation festival in Segovia, Spain. Il be showing clips, character designs and the animation process. Feel free to come if you are close by or wait a couple of weeks and I’ll post it here!

So, I’ve been a little busy and quiet lately (once again) ! Gobelins and family are taking most of my time, then again, I shall post part of my school work to keep this page alive : here, have some character design for a short movie project.

The story happens at the end of WWII, as France is going through that dark age called “Epuration”, punishing all the people who more or less collaborated with the Germans, while France was occupied ; including women who fell in love with the enemy and for a lot, had children with them. Not a very happy subject, I agree-

Gobelins 2D+3D Characters Acting Exercise CAAF43 Shen Yi

The characters acting exercise I did at Gobelins.There were 8 soundtracks and six characters to choose from. In this case I took “Grandmother” from “Persepolis” and “Monkey” from Gobelins’ film “Burning Safari”. The audio is an extract from the film “Death Becomes Her” with the voice of Meryl Streep and Bruce Willis. Hope you enjoying!!!
