A simple drawing for this prompt :) I’m enjoying flipping between more simple/graphic pieces and complex/detailed ones. I usually get bogged down in detail (i.e. cross-hatching for hours) so it’s nice to work on a piece where I can challenge myself to try something different.

Our cabin has a one of a kind rain harvesting system, solar that charges our ev and e-bikes, and a custom roof truss system that literally defies gravity. This cabin has a cargo net loft section with a million dollar view!
Anyway so since I was in the group of counselors that got to go up early to camp to decorate, we all shared a cabin the first night before splitting off into our groups. So the crush and I stole a corner of the loft the first night and we set up our beds and that night she held my hand and I aaaaaaaa
ive been taking my time with the next gestalt update because im doing a LOT of experimenting (even though in the end i will go back to doing things that dont look Too different) and i briefly considered doing everything mostly traditionally in watercolor and scanning it in because ive been wanting to paint physically for a long time instead of digitally, but that would be a LOT of paper. so maybe ill save that for an intermission type update thats only a few pages or until i move out and have somewhere to store it all
