3. Your favourite grounding activity- I’ve been doing a lot of crochet since the lock-down, I only know the most basic stitch but my mum gave me loads of yarn when she was having a clear out recently so I’m in the middle of making a little blanket for my cat
4. An account on social media whose posts make you smile- my rhink fam here on tumblr of course 💕 but @caenhillcc on Twitter is an animal rescue I follow that constantly posts such innocent wholesome stuff that never fails to lift my mood

A youtube video you find useful, entertaining or relaxing- I have been watching a LOT of Brad mondo, he is just such a sweetheart who genuinely wants everyone to have great hair, even when he’s watching some idiot take a pair of blunt scissors to their bangs he’ll still manage to call the end result ‘kind of cute!’ and sound like he means it, I love him
27. Your favourite flavour and brand of tea- my favourite flavour is earl grey, my favourite brand is whatever is on special, I’m cheap that way I guess!

As I think about my teacher on what would've been his 100th birthday I remember when I was first introduced to the teaching of Dharma Rakshita entitled Tsoncha Korlo (tib) or "The Wheel of Sharp Weapons" aka the "Crown of Knives" around 1996/7(?) My guru Lobsang Tharchin advised us that Bodhisattvas are not afraid of pain. The suffering we experience in this life, if addressed properly, will help us develop a good heart and compassion towards others ultimately leading us to liberation from suffering by training our minds on how to handle mishaps transforming them into the possibility for happiness. A Bodhisattva does not run from difficulty, they embrace it, he said, in fact, "she carries poison in her purse." I reached into my bag and pulled out a 1.7oz bottle of the Christian Dior fragrance #Poison and wept. To this day, I carry a small vial of it with me every day to remind me of his love and wisdom and remind myself that any suffering I endure will make me a better person as long as I can get through it with a calm mind.
