when did you start watching shameless?: so I once watched shameless a long time ago but only watched a few episodes. Then in may (during grad school finals) I began at the beginning and now here we are, totally obsessed!

how did you start getting involved in the gallavich fandom?: I found shameless again through amazing fic writers in the schitts creek fandom (I forget who exactly!). I saw some gifs and was just immediately intrigued first by how attractive the actors are 😬 and then the more i researched, i fell in love with ian and mickeys characters and their resilience. I’ve been working on a fic for a while but haven’t had time to write lately so look out for that (hopefully!) soon!

favourite shameless character? (other than ian & mickey of course): I honestly really love Carl—he’s so unintentionally funny and has a lot of growth. He’s also pretty unapologetically himself which I appreciate!

what plotline from the show irked you the most?: there are many to choose from, particularly in the later seasons, but I think my least favorite plot line was when the rest of the Gallaghers were upset with ian for mourning Monica. Having a lost a parent with whom I had a complicated relationship (and therefore complicated feelings of grief) I relate a lot to Ian’s feelings after her death and think it’s unfair of his siblings are so unsympathetic to his complicated emotions.

favourite line from the show?: on a serious note, I just love when mickey tells ian, “I love you. It means we take care of each other. It means thick and thin, good times, bad, sickness, health, all that shit.” He’s so all in at that moment, even when things are brutally difficult. On a lighter note, I do love when mickey says, “they’re not climbing Everest, they’re climbing dick”

best concert(s) you’ve been to: panic at the disco’s nothing rhymes with circus tour—it was my first ever concert and omg it was magical. I also really loved seeing this band called Cafe shahor hazak; that was a really fun show!

comfort movie franchise: idk if this counts as a franchise but any Nora Efron movie—like you’ve got mail or sleepless in Seattle

piercings/tattoos?: no tattoos, but I have a few piercings—nose, lower cartilage, and a rook piercing

most rewatched tv show?: it’s a toss up between parks and recreation and schitts creek!

pet peeves: being/feeling misunderstood when I’m explaining something. Slow walkers. Men telling me I’m too sensitive. 😡

random fact about yourself: I’m actually studying to be a rabbi!! It’s not anything I ever thought I would do, but I really love it and feel like I’m going to actually be able to help people.

🍦 what is one treasured childhood memory? - well, heck if i can remember much of my childhood. i guess... the time at camp when we did those papers that everyone passes around and writes something nice on everyone else’s paper, i wrote ‘i’ve always tried to be a good friend to you and i hope i succeeded’ on one friend’s paper and when they got their paper back, they hugged me and said ‘you have succeeded’. it was the first time they hugged me. (i don’t know if this counts as a childhood memory since it was like two years ago but oh well)
