Y'all here is the thing - the met is not just about looking good. This is the event where principles of fashion need to be followed. Menswear has less, but there are a few cardinal fashion sins when it comes to suit, and the main one is the suit not fitting correctly!!!

Look at the way the vest fits on Danny, absolutely not tailored correctly. Pants sag at the crotch, jacket swallows him a the shoulders, and as @paddockbunny wisely mentioned, THIS IS A DAY SUIT!! The red ribbon you see peaking out? That's part of the vest lining which should not be exposed. EDIT: found out this is showing on purpose. I still hate it tho. The material is for daytime and it's a night event. He is doing himself a disservice by not getting someone to dress him properly. Look at Cai XuKun (KUN) for example - setting the bar for Menswear this year.

I'm just saying that there are rules to this shit, and you can't break the biggest ones and still be praised for having a cute face. Fashion is an art, a skill, and a talent, and people learn it over time. You don't follow basic rules you get reprimanded. Simple.
