Loquatius creating this crystal, a message, a time capsule with a final lie on it, crystallizing Laerryn as a hero, Loquatius as a villain, Loquatius resigning as herald of Avalir. Loquatius creating this doomed message for a doomed city, one last act of protection for a doomed love.
All Laerryn has ever wanted was to leave her mark,
and Loquatius is going to make sure its a beautiful one.
(except he can't, except he can't make sure, except we know the history books don't speak about Laerryn, except this hidden act of love in a falling city seems doomed to only be heard by him,
and us.)

When the malleus keys were first introduced, I noted that "malleus" means hammer, such as in the word mallet and also the bone in your inner ear that helps with hearing. I know this because of a witch hunting book from a long time ago called the Malleus Malefacarum (or the Hammer of Witches)
I make note of this.
They are called "hammer keys"
So, I'm sitting there. Episodes pass. I'm thinking about the Aeor arc in campaign 2 for some reason, can't recall why. But I'm thinking about it, and suddenly, I recall something
The Mighty Nein uncover notes about something called the Factorum Malleus project, AKA the God Hammer. We know this to actually be, canonically, what Ludinus has been trying to replicate with his keys courtesy of FRIDA and their memory of protecting one
In those notes the M9 recovered, the project head is noted as a mage named Athodan. It is stated that this mage uncovered a relic, which turned out to be a Luxon beacon, and used necromantic glyphwork to unlock some property from it that pleased the overseers of this mage's work. What this mage was working on prior to (or in conjunction with) the Malleus Factorum project was rejuvenation
I believe that Ludinus Da'leth is an ancient Aeorian mage named Athodan who worked on the original project to free Predathos and kill the gods
When the gods (collectively, Betrayer and Prime) struck Aeor out of the sky, I believe Athodan somehow survived, but lost all of his work
Maybe he wasn't in the city at the time. Maybe he had some sort of contingency. Regardless, he survived. And, in order to survive the Calamity, he made his way to Issylra and hid out in Vasselheim, the Dawn City, the last bastion of civilization left after the Calamity ravaged Exandria
Once people began migrating out from Vasselheim again, he settled in a town called Ivaadel. Maybe this is where he developed his harness thing that allowed him to rejuvenate again, since he'd be approaching pretty old age (depending on what was done with the Luxon beacon and how old he was when he did it)
He rejuvenates and relocates. Can't have anyone back home notice that Old Ass Ludinus is a 150 year old elf again, right?
He settles in Molaesmyr, because in this post-Calamity world, he is working with figurative rocks and sticks when it comes to magic and technology. So, he needs somewhere that will
a) have a natural wellspring of powerful magic, and
b) have access to relics from Aeor. Molaesmyr has both
And we know Ludinus began hoarding Aeorian artifacts as per Team Wildemount's investigationHe attempted something. Either a shoddy replication of what was built in Aeor, or just an attempt at communion with Predathos and that wiped out the city and corrupted the surrounding woodlands
Ludinus then runs off to Bysaes Tyl for a brief time before showing up on the Eve of Crimson Midnight (interesting name, that) and is credited with stopping the violence between powerful Dwendalian and Julous Dominion aristocratic mages. This accord he is able to reach with them is the basis on which he founds the Cerberus Assembly
The Cerberus Assembly is named after a conglomerate of mages from the Age of Arcanum and predates with Calamity
Knowing that Ludinus founded the modern Cerberus Assembly is kinda suspicious considering how little information of the Age of Arcanum survived the Calamity
He also mentions Laeryn in his notes (Abriya's character from ExU Calamity) and literally no one remembers who she is. Him being aware of her is nuts in the first place, even crazier if you think he is just a modern-day elf mage
In summary:
Ludinus Da'leth is a pre-Calamity, semi-immortal mage from Aeor named Athodan who has been using his knowledge of rejuvenation to keep himself alive for, at the very least, 1000 years
Too many boxes of this theory have been ticked, and I wholeheartedly believe it

the thing about cerrit’s “two tickets out” for his kids is that like... he already knows this isn’t limited to Avalir.  and we know, with the benefit of history, that the Calamity is going to happen everywhere, that nowhere is safe, really, that the whole planet will be plunged into chaos within the day.
and yet, and yet --
some people survive.  they do.  we know they do.  and we don’t know where cerrit’s wife is rn, we don’t know if she’s somewhere super doomed (like aeor) or possibly somewhere slightly safer (like vasselheim) - but we know that the world as they know it is about to end, yes, but some still survive.  and there’s just the barest, barest sliver of hope that Kir and Maya Agrupnin might be two of them.
and that makes this all so much worse

Ok obviously I saw this and my immediate reaction was a wordless noise that sounded like someone fondled my vertebral column
But after that I noticed the (first look) movie deal portion and was wondering what they would turn into a movie because the campaigns are getting tv shows.
And y’all, what would be a better movie than

trying soso hard to be positive about the game. and the equestian festival is very fun so far and the hollow woods update is Amazing but also.

what in the fresh fucking hell do you mean this game has been around for TWELVE YEARS with every single individual tack item (and. lets probably be honest. clothing probably works the same way doesn't it. fuck.) being it's own individual horse model.
i Need to know how exactly this works when you put multiple tack items on a horse. please tell me a horse model is not actually EIGHT horse models layered on top of each other. no wonder different tack and clothing items will clip into each other. how much fucking space would it save the game if it didn't need to load an infinite amount of combinations of tack and clothing all on top of each other, fully horse-sized.
we should be nicer to staff, bc clearly at least some of them are working hard behind the scenes to make this a somewhat functional game. instead we should hunt down whoever came up with this fucking idea to begin with and Explode them with Hammers. i want this guy to hear tom&jerry music slowly get louder in the distance. what the fuck.

Wait doods... what if those other names in Luds' notes are of Architect Arcanes from other flying cities? Bc as far as we know, nobody except the ring knew about Laerryn's inventions or studies, hell people from Avalir barely knew what her regular work entailed.
There's only three names there but the three most relevant flying cities were Aeor, Avalir, and Zemnia — at least that we most often hear of.
Why the Architects? We clearly see "his" machines did something to the leylines and those people would be the ideal ones to contact (whenever, however it is he planned to do that, idc), giving their work material was leylines and ether gathering — and however they/that relates to the divine gate, maybe; Avalir's whole shebang with the extending lifespans unnaturally that Brennan didn't tackle in the game; whatever nightmarish horror show Aeor was up to.
Though one way to refute the anonymity of her plans would be if Aeor successfully infiltrated and discovered her plans and studies, and this is how Bolo is involved—

Gonna go ahead and make some predictions now for the rest of Calamity going forward, specifically how everyone dies:
Cerrit will die first, looking deeper into Vespin Chloras and eventually finding out his true intentions and plot, only to get Maes Hughes-ed before he can tell anyone else.
Laerryn will succeed in whatever she's trying to accomplish with the leylines, drawing the ire of the gods and be struck down where she stands in an instant.
Nydas, in the assisting of Laerryn in whatever machinations she has, will be killed by Chloras next as he uses her machinations to open the Betrayer Gods prisons.
Patia will be crushed to death by the statue of her grandfather crumbling over her as the gods wage war on Avalir--literally killed by the hubris of her family legacy.
Zerxus, seeing the destruction of the city he watches over and the home he loves, will call out to a god, any god, to protect his family, and Asmodeus will answer his call.
Loquatius will be the last to die, sending out a final broadcast through his towers urging the people of Avalir to safety, to escape, before Herald's Tome is leveled.

If you think about it, the Blood Moon is a fantastic mechanic in Breath of the Wild. Each Blood Moon clears the game's memory cache, thus ensuring that the player never runs out of expendable resources while still granting enough time between resets to allow for a sense of progression after defeating enemies. In addition, the event ensures that the system won’t be overwhelmed as its memory approaches maximum capacity. In the context of the game’s story, the Blood Moon is somehow connected to Calamity Ganon. According to Zelda, Ganon’s power “rises to its peak under the hour of the blood moon.” It's reasonable enough to believe that the Blood Moon is a manifestation of Ganon’s malice, but this causation is never clearly stated. Rather, Zelda’s words suggest that the reverse is true, and that the Blood Moon exerts a strong influence over Ganon.
Given that the Blood Moon is such a useful (and perhaps even necessary) game mechanic, I wonder if the phenomenon will continue to occur in Tears of the Kingdom. If it does, I’m curious about how the game’s lore might explain what’s going on. Assuming that Ganon isn’t controlling the Blood Moon, is it possible that it might somehow be controlling him?

everyones characters. are so cool. and so capable. and so fucking powerful. and so deeply accustomed to it. it rolls off of them in waves, in how they carry themselves, how they ask for things, how they interact with others. and im so excited to see it clash with the end of the world, something they cannot overcome with their wealth or power or influence or talents that they are so comfortable with.

the Ruidusborn Exaltants? who all felt fated to be in the Hellcatch? y'know, the ones like Imogen who are developing scars and physical disfigurement by just existing?
they didn't.

Okay, wait, hold on... The prophecy says 'The stars are leaving us'. Nydas kept looking up to make sure the stars were still there, but, and hear me out here, Zerxus is repeatedly compared to and described as stars and star dust. What if him siding with Asmodeus was the stars leaving them!

WELP idea just popped into my head where one of parties in campaign or oneshot have to into the hells... while going through they come face to face with Asmodeus’s champion... and then Matt introduces their guest star and Luis comes in.
Just Zerxus who swore loyalty to Asmodeus ending up as the champion of the hells.
