I was thinking about the brothers again and one thing that I thought about specifically was how often Todomastu lies about his plans and accomplishments while Karamatsu is open about his failures and lack of direction.

Like yeah, all the brothers tend to lie about themselves or their accomplishments to other people to seem better (except for Osomatsu but he has no shame so he don’t count) but specifically Todomatsu is the only one we’ve seen that actively lies to other people to gain their favor, while also not admitting that he has no idea what he’s doing in life. Meanwhile, Karamatsu is the one who lies about his image, but we don’t see him hesitate to admit that he doesn’t have a job or plans for the future.

Karamatsu is undeniably a try-hard, but he goes out of his way to share his hobbies and accomplishments with his family, as opposed to Todomatsu who had done several things worth celebrating, yet has mentioned none of them.

It’s also interesting the scope in which they lie. Karamatsu lies about doing adventurous things like getting a ton of girls and being a super cool hero, while Todomatsu lies about every day stuff like going to college and not having brothers. Karamatsu’s fallacies are easy to spot and easy to come undone but he doesn’t seem to flinch when others call him out on it. Meanwhile, Todomatsu’s lies are carefully crafted to make him fit in, and he tends to have major freak outs when that lie seems to come undone.

The parallels between both brothers is just interesting to me. Karamatsu is honest with strangers while playing himself up to his family (as if the only opinion that matters is his family’s) while Todomatsu barely mentions things to his family while lying to strangers. (Maybe he knows he can be himself around family?)

I just want to say that since i posted about a death in my family a few days ago, i have gotten 2 anons trying to drag me into callout drama, an angry anon from a green day fan, multiple anons accusing me of lying about wedding discourse, someone who accused me of lying about a mildly interesting anecdote from my old job, an anon telling me other people have drama with me, someone who wanted me to answer for pete’s misogyny crimes, et cetera, et cetera.

Normally my blog does not have this level of negative anons directed at me personally, and I have to say that I feel like all of this together indicates 1-2 specific people who already dislike me, noticed I am in a worse place than usual and am more likely to respond to bait, get in a fight, or be upset by mean messages.

I dont really care if you dont like me but please reevaluate how this behavior reflects how weird and sad the way your mind operates is, hit unfollow, and get a life

The way some of you are implying that MileApo have gotten that much screentime because they're the ones willing to fully lay it bare in front of the camera and supposedly have "no qualms about nudity and s*x" is such disgusting behavior.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with being comfortable enough to show that, but your implications are undermining the dedication and work they've put into the KP project. KinnPorsche's relationship is beyond those NC scenes, don't get me started on how a huge chunk of the "fandom" complains everytime we get anything but tension and angst between Kinn and Porsche. It's just so weird that you guys can't stand to see these two's relationship thriving.

There's also a very simple reason at play — they are the leads. Say whatever you want but MileApo's portrayal of KinnPorsche is the heart of the show. That's more than enough of an explanation why we see them the most.

Also, blaming Apo and calling him a liar for supposedly leading you on? 🙄 The man simply said we'll be seeing more of the VegasPete story in the last 4 eps (in comparison to the previous 10). He never claimed that all those 4 eps will be majority (if not all) VP. Like?? Did some of you really think they'd shaft all the other characters, especially their leads, for VP? I firmly believe that Episode 11 is the most we'll see of them in an episode (they had atleast half the episode) and Episode 12 proved that to me.

The way I see it, some of you had extremely lofty expectations about your fave ship and are angry at the show for not matching up to your own expectations, so now you're taking it out on MileApo. If anything, take it up with BOC. Don't unnecessarily hate on MileApo for doing their jobs well.
