The moon shining bright above you as the fire crackled, bursts of deep red and orange flames in front of you. Calum's strong arms held you close to him in an effort to keep you warm, you draped your fuzzy on top of the both of you. Ashton, Luke, and Michael with their partners gathered around the bonfire accompanied by a plethora of blankets. Ashton leaned over the fire as he roasted marshmallows for everyone craving s' mores; you watched as Luke attempted to help Ashton with opening the package to graham crackers.

Within seconds Luke had broken 3 crackers in a row cueing a roar of laughter from everyone, his cheeks flushed pink as Micheal commented "Thank god we have more crackers in the house!"

"I'll go get more.” Crystal smiled getting up and walking towards the back door.

“Perfect, who wants to start?” Michael asked as he sipped his drink.

“Start what?” You asked confused, unsure of what he meant.

“Scary stories, duh! I’ll start” Ashton said excitedly as he grabbed his flashlight, turning it on and putting it under his chin like in the movies. “Did you guys hear about the father who showed his 4-year-old daughter a photo of herself? She told him she didn’t look like that in the mirror. He asked her how she looked in the mirror and she described his little sister who drowned in the river?”

Calum snickered at the story, “Was that supposed to be scary? Psht, next.” You gave Calum a look and he chuckled, “What? It wasn’t even scary!”

“Mhmm, shush.” You giggled as he pulled you closer to him which you thought was impossible.

“What about the children’s playground in Alabama?” Ashton mentioned and everyone shook their heads, “That’s what I thought. People have reported hearing children giggling and voices of them calling out when there were no children around the premises. People have taken photos and there were rumors of orbs of lights that are believed to be children’s spirits passed on. Most of the sightings are from 10pm to 3am which is obviously too late for children to be playing.”

You shivered against Calum as a gust of wind blew, “Are you scared bub?”

You giggle at Calum’s comment, “No, are you?”

“I have no reason to be.” He smiled kissing your cheek softly. Crystal walked back outside with crackers in hand. Ashton put his flashlight away to finish making smores for anyone who was still hungry for one.

“In 1976, a small town in Ireland there was an unusual fog that scared people enough to lock themselves in their homes. There were over 60 reports of sightings of the undead, the police found the local graveyard had all of the graves dug up, it’s one of the biggest mysteries.” Michael told as Crystal sat down next to him.

Calum gripped you tighter, you quickly turned around to face him as he gave you an unrecognizable facial expression, “You okay?”

He nodded kissing your cheek, “Mhmm, just cold baby.” You knew he wasn’t being completely honest but nonetheless, he held you close as he nuzzled his head on your shoulder while you wrapped your arms around his neck. Luke started to tell a story as your focus was shifted to Calum who was holding you as tight as he could. When Luke finished his story Crystal changed the subject entirely and played music so people could dance to her playlist they made.

Calum’s grip loosened as you took off the blanket and got off of his lap, he followed as he stood up behind you. He wrapped his arms around your waist, “Let’s go home, yeah?”

“Good idea, maybe we can warm up by drinking hot cocoa or take a hot bath?” You smirked with a wink causing him to chuckle in response.

“Or we could do both?” He smiled as he walked with you towards his car.

“We could drink hot cocoa and then take a hot bath to relax.” You mentioned as he held on to you tight.

“Good point,” He kissed your cheek before stepping ahead of you so he could stand in front of you. He cupped your face with his hands, “Thanks for tonight, your the best.”

“Of course, I’m always here for you.” You smiled kissing his lips softly.

“I’ll always be here for you, someone's gotta protect you from the monsters.” He commented as he continued to walk with you.

“Someone has to protect you from the ghosts.” You teased winking at him, he laughed before shaking his head.

“Mhm, I’m never going to live that down am I?” He blushed while he got his car keys out before unlocking the car.

“Don’t think so bub, your secret is safe with me.” You smiled pretending to zip your lips and throw away the key.

“Thank god, everyone already knows my kryptonite is you.” He winked as he opened the car door for you, he kissed your forehead before helping you in the car.

“We have that in common, you’re definitely my weakness.” You smiled putting your seatbelt on smiling at him; knowing your night was far from over in the best way possible. You loved being with his bandmates and friends but alone time with Calum was your favorite pastime.

A/N: As some of you have heard or seen, My Ultimate Reading List (in it’s original version) has crashed on desktop because of (as I realised trying to restore it) too big number of links, so I’m basically recreating the whole thing in a new format. This post goes for One Shots and Serieses. There’s one more post for Blurbs. I’m really sorry for the tag notifs for the people who has been tagged already in a previous version. Hope it’s not much of an inconvenience. I’m also not going to delete the first version of the list, as it’s been liked and reposted a lot of times, it’s still working on mobile, so some might still use it. But all the updates are going to happen only on this post, which I’m going to put in my bio instead of an old one.

So, this list was created because of my crazy urge to reread favourite fics and blurbs from time to time. It was made purely for me, but if it helps you to find a fic or a writer you’d love, I’d be only happy. I tried to make navigation easy. For blurbs links go to my reblogs, for oneshots and full lengths links go to the original posts. I try to check links from time to time, but if you see that some of them don’t work, please, hmu.

Another Year, Another Tour

Pairing: Calum Hood/Reader

Author’s Note: So, I love the show Bones. Great show. Booth is hot af. Anyway, the episode I was watching the other day had the greatest line in it and I totally needed to put it into a fic. Here is that fic. The line was, “I do facial reconstructions... and him,” but obviously the job will be something else since it’s not an AU. ANYWAY ENJOY xox

Meet You There Tour is a go. I was called by 5 Seconds of Summer’s tour manager, Livvy, to see if I would work with them again as their joint photographer. Obviously, I agreed. I loved being on tour with the boys, not only because I’m Calum’s girlfriend, but because they are just really great and fun to hang out with. Plus, I enjoy working with Andy. He’s a hell of a great photographer.

“So, the flight to Japan leaves this Saturday at six-thirty in the morning. Did Calum tell you?” Liv’s voice comes through the speaker on my phone as I pack my suitcase.

I hum in response, muttering a yeah as I focus all my attention on neatly folding my clothes since I’ll be gone for months.

“Also, you should probably know this… there’s a new girl working on this tour. She’s part of the management team since Dave left to go on vacation with his family in the Bahama’s,” she informs me and I nod my head, grabbing my phone off my bed.

“Good for Dave. He deserves a break,” I chuckle while combing my fingers through my hair. “Have you met her, yet?” I ask, looking down at my nails before picking at them a bit. “Also, do the guys know?”

Shuffling is heard on the other line before Livvy speaks up. “I haven’t no. She actually lives in the U.K. so she’ll be meeting us in Japan, at the venue when we get there. And, no. The guys don’t know yet,” she answers and I nod my head once, letting out a hum.

“Okay. I’ll see you on Saturday then! We’re gonna get drinks, yeah?” I ask her since I actually haven’t seen her since the wrap party after last years tour.

“Of course. There’s a bar in the hotel so we don’t need to go far,” she chuckles and I chime in as well, giggles leaving my lips. “Have a good night, Y/N. Say hi to Cal for me.”

My head rests against Cal’s shoulder, eyes drooping shut every couple of minutes as we all waited for our flight. I didn’t get much sleep last night and I had to get up at five am. The brunette grabs my hand, lacing our fingers together as his thumb gently strokes the back of it.

“I told you to go to bed early,” he mumbles into my ear and I let out a scoff, tilting my head to look up at him.

“I tried, but someone decided to visit,” I giggle tiredly, nuzzling my face into his neck. “It’s fine. I’ll get to sleep on the plane. Plus, I enjoyed last night.”

Calum chuckles, pressing a quick kiss to my head. “Yeah. I think it was the first time in a while where we just had a night to ourselves. I love our friends, don’t get me wrong, but I love just laying in bed with you and doing absolutely nothing,” he mentions and I agree, nodding my head slightly.

“Flight 349 to Osaka is now boarding,” the woman on the intercom spoke in a monotone voice.

Everyone had got up, gathering their carry on bags and heads towards the gate we needed to go to. Our hands never separated as we made it to the gate and I grab my passport and plane ticket from my pocket, handing it to the man that stood by the door.

The older man checked everything before handing it back to me, wishing me a good flight as my hand left Cal’s. I slowly make my way onto the plane, hearing the guys close behind me. My eyes search for my assigned seat, muttering apologies to people I’d run into accidentally. I found my seat and I shove my carry on into the small cubby above the seats before sitting down beside the window.

Calum sits down beside me after about a minute, his hand landing on my thigh as a sigh leaves his lips. “I think I might just take a nap with you,” he mumbles and tilts his head towards me, a lazy grin on his plump lips.

“Naps are the absolute best. I totally think you should,” I grin and lean over, kissing his lips. I pull away after a couple seconds, a whine leaving his lips. “Hopefully someone will wake us up when we get there.”

A little over twelve hours later our plane flies into Japan. The smile on my lips widens at the beautiful country as I had missed being here. “Dude, we totally need to get more of those different flavored kit kat’s,” I tell Calum, glancing towards the brown-eyed boy as he rolls his eyes.

“Why? You didn’t even like most of the ones we got last time,” he mentions and a scoff leaves my lips.

“We didn’t even get all of them. Hence why we need to get more,” I state with a duh expression on my face.

Cal reaches over and grips my chin in his hands, shaking my head a bit. “Fine. Only because I love you, though,” he laughs and I give him a cheeky wink. The airport was coming into view as we began to descend, the stewardess telling all the passengers to put on their seatbelts.

It becomes a bit crowded as everyone gets off the plane, entering the busy airport as I look around for Cal and the guys. I bite my lip, getting a bit nervous as I can’t find them and continues to turn in circles to look among thousands of faces.

“Y/N! Babe, over here,” I heard his voice call out and I snap my head towards the sound, standing on my tippy toes. I see the beautiful brunette wave his arm above his head, seeing them standing beside the conveyer belt that the suitcases come out on.

I squeeze my way through the people, making my way towards them. A smile comes to my lips as Cal had grabbed both mine and his suitcase, the five of us beginning to walk towards the exit of the airport to meet everyone else before heading to the venue.

“Is there a reason we always go to the venue first?” I ask while chuckling, trying to grab the handle of my suitcase, only for Cal to roll it away from me.

He shrugs his shoulders, smiling down at me as we can hear screams coming from outside. “I don’t know, babe. To see everything before the show since we get busy with interview’s and stuff?” Cal questions and I snap my fingers.

“True. God, you always so right,” I laugh and link my arm with his.

“Of course I am,” he scoffs in a dramatic way as the doors to the airport open. The screams become louder as our security team holds the girls back so they don’t trample over us. Here we go…

The boys, Andy, and I step into the back of the venue after almost half an hour of them saying hi to the fans. I fiddle with the camera that hangs from my neck, grinning ear to ear as I remember the memories of the last time I was here. The time Cal and I had our first kiss.

“You guys made it!” Liv’s voice calls out and I turn my head towards her voice, seeing her walking up to us. She gives everyone a hug, a small smile on her lips while playing with the lanyard on her neck. “So, there’s someone I want you to meet.”

A platinum blonde makes her way towards us and I can’t help but look over her features. Well, damn, she’s definitely gorgeous. A smile comes to her lips as she gained each guy’s attention and stops about a couple inches from us. “Hi! My name is Carly. I’ll be a part of the management team this tour,” she tells us in her English accent, her blue eyes moving to each person.

“H-Hi, I’m Calum,” my boyfriend stutters and I raise an eyebrow, turning my head towards him as I cross my arms over my chest. Oh, really? I roll my eyes a bit as she reaches forward to shake his hand, moving to each other band member first before looking towards Andy and me.

“You guys are?” She asks and Andy introduces himself first, a respectful smile on his lips. Carly’s eyes move towards me after he was done, waiting for an answer.

“I’m Y/N. I do the photography… and him,” I nod my head towards Calum with a distinct tone of voice, a smile on my lips. Her lips part a bit, glancing towards Calum as his eyes were on me, lips parted in surprise.

“Okay,” Carly drags out, laughing awkwardly while tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, “it’s nice to meet you all.”

Calum and I got into our hotel room, my heart pounding against my chest as I fear that I’ve said too much earlier. I chew on my bottom lip, glancing towards the bassist as I drag my suitcase towards the corner of the room.

A sigh leaves Cal’s lips as he plops onto the bed, turning onto his back. “So, what was that back there?” He asks and I narrow my eyes at the man.

“Are you kidding? I should be asking the same question Mr. I Stutter At The New Pretty Girl,” I mumble and Calum sits up.

“Okay, I’ll admit that she’s really pretty but I was just surprised. I’m not mad about what you said if that’s what you’re worried about,” he mentions and I sigh softly, moving to sit next to him on the bed.

He sits up, grabbing my hand and intertwines our fingers. “It just slipped out honestly. I just wanted to let her know that you were taken,” I shrug and glance towards him to see a silly grin on his lips.

“Well, you’ve definitely shown that. Putting out our sex life, geez,” Cal chuckles and I smack his chest, letting out a small giggle as well. “I mean… if you really wanna let everyone know about us then we can totally break in this king-size bed.”

He gives me a wink as his hand leaves mine and slides it across my lower back. I hum in thought, shifting a bit so I straddle his lap. “That does sound tempting,” I whisper and runs my fingers through his hair. “I love you.”

Calum grins, leaning upwards to press his lips against mine. A deep sigh releases through my nose as my other hand strokes his cheek while moving my lips against his. After a few moments, he pulls away, his forehead resting against mine. “I love you too. So so much.”

-so you’re a ravenclaw and Ash has noticed you around but never really spoken to you

-Ravenclaws keep to themselves a lot because ya’ll are so busy

-so when Ash gets paired to be your lab partner in potions class he’s kind of like ‘well fuck this is going to be boring.’

-he sits down next to you and without even looking up from your potions book you’re like “whats got your panties in a rut Gryffindor boy?”

-he laughs immediately, “I’m Ashton.” he holds out a hand

-you continue reading “i know who you are.”

-”You’re Y/N.” he states, taking his hand back, his Gryffindor pride already a little wounded

-”yup.” you continue reading the book

-class starts and the teacher tells you the potion you’re all going to make

-you still don’t talk to him

-then around halfway through class you state: “you better tell your buddy over there that if he continues to stir the pot like that it’s going to explode.”

-Ashton doesn’t even know who you’re talking about because you’ve yet to look up from your book

-but then there’s a loud popping sound and the teacher goes “five points from Gryffindor Mr. Hemmings, have you not learnt to read instructions?”

-Ashton bursts out laughing and turns to you, “come on, how are you not laughing at that?”

-you shrug, “i’m making this potion, gotta be done first.”

-”you’ll for sure be done first.” Ashton assures you, stopping after he says it to be like why the fuck did i even just say that

-”you’ve never had a potions class with Calum Hood.” you say, focusing more on your work

-Ashton looks over and realizes Slytherin!Cal looks just as focused as you are

-”hate that guy.” Ashton states

-”get in line.”

-the class continues and you barely speak to Ashton as he tries to focus on what he’s supposed to be doing

-class is almost finished when you call the teacher over and he looks at your potion, “very good Y/N. Irwin you should take some tips from your partner, might learn a thing or two.”

-now that your potion is done you turn to Ashton, watching what he’s doing, “whats the difference between crush and chop?” you ask

-Ashton is kinda taken aback because obviously there’s a difference, “obviously chopping is when you cut something and crushing is when you crush something, aren’t you the Ravenclaw here?”

-you roll your eyes, focusing on your book

-Ashton raises his hand and the teacher comes over, “this is incorrect Mr. Irwin, it looks as though you you chopped the bitterroot instead of crushing it.”

-as soon as the teacher leaves Ashton turns to you, “you knew i was doing it wrong!” he yells

-”i asked if you knew the difference between crushing and chopping.” you shrug, “i would have helped but you seemed to think the difference was, whats the word you used? obvious?”

-class ends and you leave before Ashton can retort something witty and he stares after you as you go

-and so begins this odd partnership

-you start to open up a bit more and Ashton takes notice right away

-one class he just watches everything you do and tries to copy it and finally you give in and show him what to do

-and then comes the flirting

Crazy 2am thing:

I’m jamming out to sgfg from my laptop while surrounded by my 2014 5sos posters no my door and reading tweets on my phone from Easier-era 5sos about how the youngblood era is dead. It suddenly hit me really hard how much of an impact 5sos has had on my life and who I am today. I’m not just talking about the 7 piercings I was inspired to get because of their 2014 punk aesthetic. I’m not talking about the flannel I rushed to buy because their SLFL concert in Madison Square Garden started in 2 hours and I didn’t “blend in” with the 5sos fam waiting outside the venue as much as I wanted. I’m talking about the fact that I probably really wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for 5sos.

I sat in this exact spot, on my bed, in my room at home 3 years ago in 2016, depressed af, literally crying as I listened to skh and safety pin and broken home, and the rest of the album, even though it was the only thing that brought me joy at the time. There was so much that just… was dark in my life at the time. I was depending on 5sos to stay afloat. Sounds Good Feels Good, an album primarily about depression and mental health was such a life saver. I related to so many of the lyrics, but also, was inspired by them. 5sos put a smile on my face every day and gave me the ability to stay positive through the sadness. I truly developed the “it will get better” mentality because of them, and the 5sosfam on tumblr.

Now I’m here in 2019, in the same spot, listening to these same songs for the first time in a while, and I’m overcome with emotion. They were right. It was worth it. I’m so happy right now. I no longer really live at home, I’ve got a life in America. I have 5 amazing friends, where I previously had zero. I have a boyfriend who loves me, which I previously thought impossible. I have grown in self-confidence once I left this house and my high school, both very toxic, draining places, so much so that my confidence surprises even me sometimes. I sit here in 2019 belting out the same songs I did in 2016, but now they’re sung in triumph. They are no longer my sole motivators, the thread I’m hanging on to. I don’t draw my strength from them anymore, but I am grateful to what they did for 2016 me. And I’m grateful to 5sos for being there for me when no one else was.

I’m living in America now because of them. I literally did a whole foreign exam in order to get into an American college. My motivation? Seeing 5sos in concert. With my success came the opportunity to leave my father situation at home behind, and create a happy life for myself far away. I’m crying again listening to these, but this time, they’re happy tears. I’m overwhelmed by how drastically my life has changed, and that the lyrics I clung to as mottos, put all my faith in, were right. It got better. I patched up all the holes. I’m alright.

I sit here, with 5sos surrounding me, as they have from 2014, and I realise, the love I had for them has evolved. The love I feel for them now is no longer “Calum Hood’s hot I wanna marry him.” It’s so much more than that. These boys have been with me through the lowest points of my life. They’re the only people who have never let me down. It’s crazy…I’ve never even met them. But I’ve grown with them. I haven’t always 100% agreed with the directions they’ve gone in musically, and there have been times where I thought “okay this is it. I’ve apparently outgrown 5sos and their music. Time to leave the fandom.” But something always kept me right where I was. The love I have for these boys…I can’t explain it. It’s something deep and unshakeable. It’s more than the infatuation with 4 aussies that it began with. It’s…true I suppose. They’re my first true loves because of the support we’ve given each other, the struggles I’ve faced both with them and outside of them. I don’t know…its 3am now and I’m just rambling. I just wanted to capture my emotions in this moment. What it felt like to sing sgfg from my laptop to 2014 5sos posters on my door as I looked at 2019 luke’s confident predecessor ig post.

sam was born in new zealand as an accident child that neither of his birth parents felt they had the time or need for, thus leaving him up for adoption at a v young age

he was hopping from foster home to foster home throughout the majority of his childhood, never having met or known either of his birth parents and being understandably stubborn and closed off to each place he was taken to

about around the time when he was 10 or 11 he was sent to these kind foster parents in the states, being the only ones that actually made him feel secure and like he actually had a place now, a home. they were patient w him, let him open up on his own terms. learned that he liked to sketch and got him some supplies and sketch pad. the foster dad taught him how to fix and care for a car, and for awhile, he was content

one day he came home to learn that his foster parents had their foster care license revoked for housing in more children than they were allowed, having all the kids in the house taken away and each divided off into different places, sam being taken away kicking and screaming

from then on, he was never the same. more keen to rebel and not cooperate to the next homes he was taken to, having detention almost every day, not coming home at all most times, getting caught by the cops, and, ultimately, being sent to juvey a few times. his acting out making it harder for him to stay longer than a few months at a time at each new place he was sent, until they finally placed him in military training in hopes of bettering his behavior, where he was forced to stay until he was 18

he was convinced that the military was making their own army of super humans as every time his head hit the pillow each night he was as exhausted as ever, he learned how to rightfully shoot a rifle as well as tone down his rebellious ways. not necessarily stop all together, but enough to keep the authorities off his back

once old enough, sam was given the option to go or stay and he added up all the money he had made by working part time, leaving to chi in order to have his own place, and wanting a clean slate somewhere no one else knew him

now as well as malnati’s, he works as a mechanic at the nearby garage, working w cars giving him something hands-on to work w and he adores everything about it tbh, he’s never more in his element than when his clothes and hands are stained in grease, working under the hood of a car

he still sketches and is actually really really good but kinda brushes others off if they ever get to see his work bc he just doesn’t know how to take a compliment, honestly. he hopes to own his own tattoo parlor someday but until then, he’s gotta pay the bills, yanno. most of the tattoos on his arms he’s designed himself

still kinda keeps others at arms length, tbh??? he’s just kinda v moody a lot and has a lot of pent up negative emotions he doesn’t really know how to deal w really, if your lucky enough to get on his good side tho, he’s so heckin loyal??? his abandonment issues just make it difficult for him so

now that he’s out of the military and has kind of matured a bit, he’s not as reckless as he used to be but i mean....he’s still p freakin reckless like...kinda self destructive

under all of that anger, sarcasm, and stoic-ness is like…a really sweet and caring lonely boy who has felt lost since the day he was born, but i doubt he’ll let anyone ever know about that, i love my boy sm :(

-you and Ashton have been best friends since the first day you were sorted into Hufflepuff together

-you have a reputation in the school as the best friends who everyone wants to be a couple

-people have long standing bets on what year he’s finally going to tell you how he feels

-and then one day when you’re walking to class you bump into Slytherin!Cal

-you’ve heard of his reputation. he’s quiet and always hangs out with the kid who’s hair changes colour, Michael you think his name is, you have to admit he’s intimidating but when he bends down to help you gather up your books and flashes you a smile to silence your apologies you’re like damn

-”hey Ashton the weirdest thing happened today, you know that Slytherin guy, Calum? i bumped into him and he actually wasn’t a jerk.”

-Calum knows you told Ashton about the encounter because suddenly Ashton is glaring at Calum from across the great hall at breakfast

-and suddenly Ashton is trying to make you laugh every time your within view of Calum

-”he’s doing it on purpose.” Michael tells Calum one morning when the sound of your laughter ringing through the hall is making Calum’s jaw clench, “Ashton knows you’re competition. he’s just scared.” Michael pats Calum on the back, “you’ve got this buddy.”

-you and Ash go to every Quidditch game together, when Ashton isn’t playing of course, and the two of you go to a match between Slytherin and Gryffindor

-Slytherin wins and as you and Ash are leaving Calum seems to appear out of nowhere, “hey, Y/N, we’re having an after party at the Slytherin common room, want to come?”

-you can’t say no. i mean, this is Calum Hood. notorious gorgeous Slytherin bad boy who just had the match of his life.

-”sure, i’d love to Calum.” “cool, i’ll see you there, just you.” he glares at Ashton then leaves.

-Ashton is grumbling about it the whole way back to the Hufflepuff common room

-”look i just think he’s a nice guy.” you insist, “maybe you just have to get to know him better Ash.”

-”screw it, im walking you to the party.”

-when you get there, Calum’s waiting outside for you and Ashton hugs you before leaving, glaring at Calum over your shoulder

-”has anyone ever told you Yellow suits you?” Calum teases as the two of you go through a corridor and into a sea of green and black

-”Oh my god Calum i’m practically the only non Slytherin here.”

-”its cuz you’re special.” Calum teases, “but if you’re uncomfortable we can go somewhere else. i’d rather be alone with you anyways.”

-”wow, you’re smooth Hood. i heard you don’t talk much and when you do it’s always something charming, you’re living up to your reputation.” ”yeah and you’re living up to yours, your guard dog hates me.” “Ashton’s harmless, we’re just best friends, he doesn’t want me to get hurt.” “yeah, sure, just friends.”

-ending up chilling on a staircase somewhere and talking for a while

-Ash just happens to walk by and ends up sitting down on the other side of you while Calum just rolls his eyes

-Ashton kinda puts his arm over your shoulders because he’s used to that and Calum’s hand goes onto your thigh and you’re just like, “okay what is this.” they both try to act dumb first but you glaring makes them finally give in.

-”we’re both into you.”

-”and you guys figured you’d just fight over me instead of talking to me like adults?” “yeah.” “pretty much.”

-”look, i’ll date both of you and then make a decision.”

-they’re oddly okay with it.

-going on dates with them separately but the other always just ‘happens’ to show up so most dates end up with you hanging out with both and them both holding your hands

-they get to know each other better and although there’s always this background tension of competition they actually seem to be getting along okay

-you go cheer them on for their quidditch matches while in the stands with the other and on their game day where they go against each other, they each give you their scarf to wear

-getting a few odd looks from some Slytherins because you’re wearing Calum Hood’s scarf and Ashton Irwin’s?

-but like what do you even do after the match cuz one is going to win and ones going to be upset

-Hufflepuff ends up winning and as you go onto the pitch to hug them both you notice Cal looks a little down and you’re not sure what to do and then Ashton says, “hey Cal, we’re having an after party at the Hufflepuff common room. you should come with us.”

-you and Cal are #SHOOK

-Ashton actually inviting Cal to come to something? but you are both Hufflepuffs and Ashton is a sweetheart, something you’ve always loved about him

-you and Ashton wait for Cal to show up at the party before going in

-Hufflepuffs are usually hella chill and it’s not like they’re going to be mean to Calum but you do get a few confused looks and hear a few “what’s the Slytherin Seeker doing here?”

-the three of you collapsing on a couch and your house being pretty nice to Calum and lots of people coming by to say he had a great game

-you get up to go grab some drinks and a few girls are just like, “so are you dating Ashton or Calum?” and you’re kinda just like, “seeing both?”

-getting back and they’re actually laughing together

-you’d never seen them without you but they seem to get along great

-being the last three at the party after everyone has gone to bed and you’re all having a great time until Cal says he should go, so you and Ash walk him to the door and you kiss his cheek, Ash gives him a hug?!?!

-”wow, you two seem to get along well.” “Cal’s a nice guy.” “never thought i’d hear you say that.”

-Cal is a pure blood but Ashton is a half blood so Ashton knows about polyamory

-he meets up with Cal without you and discusses the whole thing with Calum.

-they’re buds and they both like you and they’ve realized that they don’t mind sharing, in fact they’re kind of having a great time together too?

-they find you in the hall and pull you to a separate room to tell you about the idea and you’re shook but you agree

-they both give you a kiss on the cheek and so begins a poly relationship between two Hufflepuffs and a Slytherin

-Ashton is friends with Calum’s Slytherin pal Michael so sometimes the three of you sit at the end of the Slytherin table for food but you always get weird looks from Slytherin’s whereas when Cal comes to sit at the Hufflepuff table everyone is super nice and inviting

-Cal feels kinda weird about being so included by the Hufflepuffs but i mean he is dating two of them so….

-they’re both obviously super into you but the more they hang out and get to know each other the more lovey they’re being with each other too

-usually during sex they’re both taking care of you. Ash is the ass man lets be serious, cuz he’s into the spanking and your ass is right there

-but one night in a particularly hot and heavy session they brush past each other a few times and then they’re kissing too

-it’s one of those things where they’re both completely in love with you and they love each other like the highest level of friendship but also friends who make out sometimes

-so much studying together

-teachers start calling you the three musketeers

-Ashton is more into pet names like princess and honey (cuz badgers yo)

-Cal is more into babe or baby

-they each get a designated side of your body for hickies

-Ashton finding a nice Hufflepuff girl who’s into knitting to make a custom slyther-puff scarf for you to wear on game days where they’re playing against each other

-they still fight like rivals on the pitch but it doesn’t continue off the field

-dates where you walk between the two, holding both their hands, to go get butterbeer or just walk around outside

-you and Ash vs Cal during snow ball fights

-cuddles where you have to be pressed against each other because Hogwarts beds are small AF

-they both like to surprise attack you into broom closets which are also hella small

-”Hood, Irwin, you’re both late.” “sorry professor.”

-the room of requirement is hella required yo

-Ash likes to throw you over his shoulder sometime to make you scream, and he makes it seem like he’s going to set you down but you end up in Cal’s arms so he can spin you around a bit

-they’re a great team the two of them

-Cal being a regular in the Hufflepuff common room. he usually has to wait for you or Ash to come let him in but the other Hufflepuffs are so used to him they just let him in

-the Slytherins would not be chill with one Hufflepuff being around all the time, let alone two, so not going there that often

-a bunch of Hufflepuffs gifting Cal with an honorary yellow scarf for Christmas

-this blushing idiot would be so happy about it though

-he never thought he could feel so much love

-you and Ashton pamper the shit out of this boi

-”Cal, you’re acting like a Hufflepuff.” “and what about it?”

-the whole Hufflepuff house ready to kick any Slytherin’s ass who makes fun of Cal for being in a relationship with you and Ashton. Ashton would lead the beat down too

-”hey Cal, where’s your Hufflepuff guard dog?” “Ash? he’s behind you.” “not funny Hood!”

-Calum coming back and telling you and Ash that someone referred to Ash as Cal’s ‘Hufflepuff guard dog’ and you all laughing your asses off because Cal was the original person who coined the expression

-big group hugs that are so calming and perfect

-taking advantage of the prefect’s bathroom’s huge bath tub

-so many sweet kisses

-lots of cheek pecks

-doing that thing where you have an arm over each of their shoulders and they kinda lift you up as you walk, am i being dumb, this is totally a thing right?

-i have a hella massage kink and im going to project this onto you because imagine giving these guys massages after quidditch matches

-okay so i always thought Slytherin reader x Cashton would be my fav but holy shit i have swerved into Hufflepuff reader and the dynamic is giving me life
