Calum was passionate romantically in and outside the bedroom. He knew that he had a certain ripple effect on me and at certain points, he could use that to his advantage. He knew his way round a women’s heart and body and he’s proud to say the least. Calum in the beginning of our relationship was great. The determination and love Calum provided to make it work was motivating.

It was difficult at times as him being a public figure, people wanna know everything and then use that against you. He knew that he didn’t want that to drive distance between us both away and so he kept us both away from the spotlight for the first couple months of the relationship. This gave us privacy to get to know each other and enjoy our intimate moments together.

These kind of nights were amazing and memorable especially the aftermath of the actions from the night before. Calum knew he was rough and so he usually suggested me taking a long bubble bath with him beside the tub talking, almost like a date. Sometimes the days after the wrangled bodies was lazyily spent hours watching binge watch shows and sometimes, it would be us going through a normal day. Today, I had planned to visit my friends house where it was gonna be a get together.

Shortly after my calming bath and fixing together a outfit, I headed out the door with Calum driving me to my friends house. Calum knew it would’ve been nice to drive me and pick me up and so off I was to the house, walking towards the door. Shortly, I entered the house and chatted to my other 3 friends, while we swirled our drinks in our glasses. The topic of conversation arose “so y/n, how are you and Calum?”.

I smile and nod while answering “yeah, we’re good”. She then smirks and asks further “yeah, but what about, you know, the sex?”. I get a little uncomfortable with it but I go On to respond “yeah, it’s great”. The all look at each other collectively and one of them start “y/n, remember when we told you not to go with him since he was a bad boy? That must’ve worked in your favour”. I silently laugh and look up at them again.

The continue talking about their warning signs made to me about Calum but they seemed surprised and almost a little jealous that their plan didn’t work out. Fair enough but the conversation continued talking about the other girls relationships and their detailed sex life, and then moved onto other subjects and so I decided to leave. I called Calum prior to leaving, with him being outside in timing for me to exit the house.

The door opens and Calum sits there and asks “how was it?” And I respond while just getting into the passenger side “yeah, it was good”. He smiles and starts the journey home. Shortly after a drive, we arrive back to the house and make ourselves comfortable. The night grows later as the time suggests that your eyes were drooping and quick 5 minutes of sleep every so often in front of the tv. Calum then said “baby, let’s get you to bed”.

Calum carried me to our bedroom and laid me there as I noticed I needed my pyjamas on. I quickly get changed and make myself comfortable under the covers. Calum goes beside me on the bed and his arms make their way around my waist with his face nestled in my neck. He asks “so baby, what we’re they sayin today?”. I answer tired sounding “just asking about the bedroom antics of us and know what they said” as I turn myself to face Calum. He says smiling “what?”. “They thought you were a bad boy before meeting you and I was like “what?” But look where we are now” smiling to cuddle him. He nestles in and says “I love you baby. Forever and always” as I say “I love you too baby”.

The clock was inching closer to the hour of 9 and I knew I was gonna need to be out of the house before then. Calum enjoyed seeing me do the whole routine getting ready for a girls night out. He liked when I went out and enjoy myself since people thought went out when Calum went out for the candids which would be all over the internet.

I was looking into the mirror and wore a short black dress and my makeup matched my outfit so I had done a black and brown smoky eye paired with the fenty lip gloss. My hair was straightened and was in my place and I look down to my black heels. Everything seemed perfect and I felt a pair of eyes following my movements. I look through the mirror behind me and Calum sits there like a kid watches a puppy doing tricks. His smile was almost turning creepy soon as she admired the look of his girlfriend.

I look behind and to him and say “You ok, baby?” As I put my arm on his shoulder and bend down to the couch’s arm. His eyes follow and responds “I’m better now” as we both giggle. I look at him and say “you know I Love you baby” and kiss his cheek. I go back to the mirror and he shortly comes in like a child has a nightmare and going to their parents room. His arms wrap round my waist and he rests his chin on my shoulder as I fix my hair. He slowly but progressively peppers kisses all around my shoulder and neck. I smile and giggle as I tickles but it’s seductive.

I tell him “baby, what are you doing?”. He finishes the lip locking with my top side and replies “well, you look so good tonight and what if you didn’t go out tonight? Huh?” And proceeds to grab my bottom. I jump at the sudden touch and I laugh. He smiles and I turn to rest my arms over his shoulders and wrap at the back of this neck. Calum was currently on tour with the boys and so it was natural for me to miss him, but not as much as this, both emotionally and sexually. The usual phone calls and face times to him were our little routine but you could tell their was frustration coming from both of us.

The boys were allowed time for themselves and talk to their loved ones although the strict regime of them waking up early for their performances at that city. I always made sure I was comfortable with everything calum could see in the tiny screen, whether it be me lounging in a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie or rocking zero makeup and a messy bun.

Calum crossed my mind every possible way. When I was working, when I was with family or even when I was simply on my phone, his face would appear and our memories flooding back, making me smile. Tonight, me and Calum had told each other we were gonna face time each other and so I was more than ready for this call to begin.

The ringing of the little tune that played made me more anxious as the awaited moment has come. Slowly but surely, his tanned completection filled the pixels on my screen. His eyes seemed lively and refreshed as he looks at me while I’m talking. “Honestly baby, I cannot wait for when you come home and we can spend as much time together”. He takes a moment for it to settle in as he adds “yeah, I enjoy these FaceTimes but nothing beats being in the moment with you”. I comment “you’re being sooky. What do you want?” As we both laugh.

I try and make the conversation neutral now “I know babe, I’ve been missing you too damn much. I never knew I could be this sexually frustrated all the time”. We smile at each other as he connects the last sentence you said “I feel you on that one. My hand is gonna fall off with the amount of -“ and you overlap him “oookkaayyy, anyways” as you both nervously giggle.

There’s a moment of silmence until “I’m sorry babe, I feel a little weird talking about this stuff in general let alone to you but I totally get and respect were your coming from”. He nods and responds “thanks babe. As we were saying, yeah, when I get back home, bed, naked and -“ I make a surprised face and we both burst into a laughing fit.

After while, me and Calum could talk about the majority of stuff until we returned to a certain subject. “Babe, what’s one thing you wished you knew about me before we met?” Said Calum curiously. I took my time answering “hmm... I think it would be... about how stubborn you are sometimes” and nod with my response. I question him “what about me babe?”. He makes the usual thinking face and starts “just how your look could kill anybody” and i nervously giggle.

He smiles seeing me smile and it almost like a cute cycle we fall into. Calum speaks “but baby, just the thought of you in bed, doesn’t make me tired. I just wanna you scream my name till we are breathless”. I look down as when Calum was passionate about something and staring into my eyes, i couldn’t take it. He finishes and I say “ugh, baby, you know I I’m dying just to be in your arms... and in your pants too”. We smiles and jokingly laughs while looking down.

As my sentence finished, Calum’s face seems serious and darkened as he speaks “but seriously baby, as soon as I get home, you know I’ll have you on that bed, making every noise under the sun. It was nice the fact that calum didn’t need to go around hooking up with groupies and have me and not just sexually, emotionally too. It was good for Calum’s mentality being known and in the band, you could just tell he felt like a weight was lifted off his shoulders because somebody ( me) was there for him.

We just looked into each other’s eyes through the camera and occasionally looking down at other features made up by pixels on the screen. I fuelled the conversation again “so babe, hopefully I’m not making you stressed while being on this tour. You deserve to enjoy this time with the boys and yourself.” He smiles and replied “thanks love. You know, I didn’t expect to firstly, be with the woman of my dreams. Two, be in a band and do something that I love with people that I love. And three, be happy with everything going on in my life”. I could almost cry with what just came out his mouth.

I get a little emotional and say “aww baby. I love you” in a high toned voice, almost like how you would hear parents talking to babies. He smiles like he knows what he’s up to but you knew he meant what he said. His train of thought continues “but you know babe, it’s everything I’ve ever wanted. Be in a band with my four best mates, have a hot girlfriend and have people that love and support me, inner and outer circle”. I nod and add “you deserve it baby ! You’ve worked so hard for so long and the universe always has a plan”.

While the hours grew later where I was, the phone call was gonna near a end soon so I tried to use my time wisely. The sky outside my window was darker than usual. Sometimes it was a light dark blue or some days, pitch black which supposedly was one of those nights. I start “well baby, I’m gonna have to go soon but I just wanted to say that I love you and I cannot wait to physically be with you. Your just making me so proud and I’m just so in love with you babe. We’ll talk tommorow, ok?”. He nods and quickly says “I love you so much baby, take care of yourself, ok?” And I nod. We both quickly so bye as I placed duke where he could see calum and pick up his paw to wave at him. We both laugh until the call ended and until next time, I’ll think about him.

My birthday was today and I knew calum wanted me to have a day I’d never forget but even being in sweats cuddling watching clueless was also perfection for me.

I was still at work when I texted calum “whatcha wanna do tonight baby?”as his reply was short but took forever to actually text. He answered “it’s your bday babe. Wbu?”. He knew I was a minimalist or simplistic but then sometimes I go all out.

I responded to his message “maybe watch a movie tonight since I’m not exactly in the mood of going out :/“. The minute he saw the message he replied “ok :) can’t wait for you to come home”.

I smile as the clock kept turning as my shift was coming to a end. After I left the place, I started texting Calum as I walked down the street to find my car.

I start up the conversation again “just getting in my car coming home:)”. I shut the door as Calum works up a reply. He says “ok, can’t wait”. I smile as I drive back to my apartment as I wanted to get out my clothes that reminded me of the dreaded workplace.

My keys jangle as they it inside the keyhole and make the door swing open to the small yet cosy home. I drop my bag on my kitchen counter as I make my way to my wardrobe. As soon as I find myself standing in front of my closet, Calum texted me.

“Hey baby, dress up nice, I’m gonna surprise you”. My kind immediately goes to a surprise party. I respond “a surprise party?”. He then replies “no, too cliche”. I laugh as I find a maroon dress that stops at my knees as I place it on my bed as I put a little makeup on making it natural but pretty. I get changed as I find black heels and find a small bag that compliments me as well as holding my phone and small things.

I finally get back to my car planning my destination at Calum’s apartment. My white mini takes me there as I take the elevator and see Calum’s door. The grey door came closer and closer as I approach the action of knocking.

He opens it slightly and says “hey babe, wait a minute, k?”. A puzzled look washes over my face as I question what would take calum a minute behind the door. Shortly after pondering, he opens the door as his lights were out as I candle stood at the Center of his connected kitchen and living room.

I muffled whispers as Calum walks backwards and opens his arms and shouts “SURPRISE!” As my friends and his shout along and the lights beam on again. I drop to the floor in shock and embarrassment as everyone laughs. As i look up, I see Luke and Sierra as well as Michael and crystal and Ashton and kaykay. I also see a few other people and some of my friends.

Calum comes closer and says “happy birthday baby” and kisses my cheek. I hug him and everyone “aw”’a the scene. I look up at him and say “this is the best birthday surprise ever” and smile as he lights up by the sight of me smiling.

Me and Calum set ourselves up for our movie night. We build a fort with the giant mattress that puffed itself up. Its corners sat up with the two large bed posts.

The television lit up the room as the lights were a dimmed blue colour. I wore a white thin strapped crop top paired with grey sweats and white ankle socks. Calum wore a dark grey baggy top with navy blue sweats and white socks.

I say to him “whatcha wanna watch baby?”. He skins the options as I scroll through the selection of movies. I go to the Disney section and scan what catches my eye. Every other minute, I looked at him to see his reaction to anything until we were met with the poster for ‘Coco’.

I pressed the play button and me and Calum snuggle as the fort stays in its place. The movie made the colours appear on his face with vibrant pinks and bold blues. Shortly after the first 30 minutes, Calum turned to me as my eyes stayed on the screen.

I feel eyes on me as I turn to see what he was looking at. I ask “what is it?” As I nervously laugh. He smiles and answers “Just you” and gets comfortable looking at me, readjusting his arm. I smile and get comfortable as well.

He often talked about other guys trying to get with me and always questioned himself although so did I. I look at him and say “I love you”.

He asks “you love me?” And makes a dramatic facial expression and hand on his chest. We both laugh as I crawl on top of him. “Of course I love you, You dork”. I kiss him and cuddle him as we watch the Disney Children’s movie.
