Yoooo! I was about to pitch in a Greek Myth AU when I saw your reblog.

I just find it so poetic that it fits Camilil and Avatrice too. Sort of. You see, Mother Superion somehow knew that Bea would be her successor then she quits the order. Here comes your fic and it fits because after Bea left, Camila became her supposed successor but also left after the Holy war. Sure, Camila may have left on her own but she is literally the Persephone to her mother Demeter (Cami being your littlle ball of sunshine). It is also quite a parallel to Lilith being Hades equivalent. Lilith be like, stalking Cam and not knowing how to approach her because she is a useless lesbian like that.

I do think that it took Mother Superion some time to cope with her children's departure from the order, but I know that her thing with Jillian helped with that. She was able to feel it for herself, what it was like to be devoted to someone. Last weird similarity is that they are all her daughters but like greek gods do, they marry their fam.

I could talk about the myth of hades and persephone and its various retellings for EVER but like. something something something the relationship between mother and daughter is what makes the world go round. something something cami and superion played little games with bible verses and songs they like. like I don't know there's just something about Them that calls to me.
