#i tried combining watercolor textures with chromic abberation and i think it turned out well!!!! very proud of this #normally i try to color and shade with a different brush so it contrasts a little with my lineart. but in this case it kinda #feels more.. put together?? like smth youd see on a print comic book i think..#i havent drawn this guy in so long.. i dont think he even has much going on hes just fun to draw #campfire monster who cooks your smores and eggs in exchange for sticks and coal ^_^#my art #myart #illustration #my oc #oc #rover #eye strain #eyestrain #bright colors #monsters

To conclude my roundup of /r/196 refugee posts, I bring you my proudest shitpost, the one that resonated with the most people. I suppose "left-leaning bisexual 20-something male" was the stereotype.

Ironically I'm a little ashamed of this now because some of my friends informed me that I was a bit annoying to talk to because of it. I guess that's the discovery of heretofore-unknown sexuality for ya.

who knew having a near death experience (and the holidays in general ig) would be so exhausting lmao. anyway i'm past that and i'm back with my piece for my pinch hitter writer @noctifer-night for the @vashwoodbigbang! :D

he wrote this fun fluffy story, Patient is the Night, for the event so i can have a drawing that actually accompanies a story this time. i can say i'm really excited to read this story again, it was so so enjoyable the first time :D

of course i only had a month instead of several months this time around so this is a bit more rushed than i'd like, but it should be serviceable 😅 thanks again to mod sana for her hard work during this event and @priellan for beta-ing his story!!

Plus a messy comic of how it happened for context. The hardest part is always writing Floofty and how they'd behave in a situation like this. I always ask myself: 1. What do you think they're going to say?

2. Is this in character? If not, try something else instead. If yes, go to step three.

3. Write it how you think they'd say it. Like, no slang, more proper English, and maybe sprinkle in some five dollar words if you can.
