Beel, Levi and Asmo with chubby! fem! s/o who have low self-esteem
Was fighting thoughts about ordering delivery for fast food and then a sudden idea came to my mind...! (p.s. I lost the fight)
Femreader, fluff, hurt/comfort, Asmo being mischievous a little bit;;
Tumblr media
-He has no idea why you think about yourself so low and can't believe he actually loves you.
-Beel is so big, like, really big. And you love him, don't you? Then why did you think he couldn't feel the same passion for you?
-If you have a tummy it just means you are eating well. And that he has something to squeeze and kiss, as much as your thick thighs too.
-Don't you dare to try diets or something. Beel doesn't mind if it was because of some health problems or something, but if you just tell him that you want to lose weight because you feel ugly, he will stop you.
-He may not be that good with words but he will try to explain to you how much he loves you and that's real happiness not in your figure but in your heart. So you can be pretty and beautiful in any form and shape, the main point is confidence and he's willing to help you work with that.
-"S/o.. i.. I really love you.." - it was kinda hard to talk so intimate without getting embarrassed but Beel threw away his shyness, knowing that you need some comfort right now. - "I love you and your appearance the way it is, because you are already perfect and without any flaws.. Like a big Cheeseburger…"
-He wants you to be healthy and happy, and there's nothing better than a big portion of your favorite meal, don't you think? So now he will take you with him in cafes more often, he hopes eating together will be less nerving for you.
-Will try to compliment you more, especially about your appearance. Despite it looking like all he thinks about is food, he's pretty attentive and always notices when you buy a new skirt or get a new haircut.
-"You look so.. um.. tasty in this dress.." - Beel gets closer to you and takes your hands, smiling happily with a little blush on his cheeks. - "And the way you smell is so.. delicious.."
-Well maybe he's a little bit awkward but he's trying his best! After all, he just wants to always support and help you..!
-He doesn't care how much you weigh, for him you're still so small that he can easily lift you up with one arm. See? That means you are not that fat, so don't worry, darling..!
Tumblr media
-You may be sad because in all that anime he watches so many pretty girls with such unrealistic thin waists.. How can he look at you and feel something after seeing so many pretty fictional characters and so many beautiful cosplayers..?
-When you tell him about this he will get shocked. How can you think like that?? After all that love and care he put in you?? It's not fair..!
-"Since when do you start thinking like a normie, caring about your weight and everything?! The real otaku's mind has thoughts only about new games and shows..!" - he scoffs, but then looks at you with a worried expression - "Come on, there's no one who will be cooler than you.. Even Ruri-chan says that personality is more important than appearance, but you're great in both ways, so why do you care??"
-He's really surprised how someone so precious and cute can have low self-esteem. If someone will combine all his waifus the result still will be not that adorable and stunning like you..!
-He absolutely loves your big thighs, as he can lie on them while playing on his phone. It's much more comfortable and warm than his pillow so don't you dare try to get rid of these plump squishy things..!
-Levi will try to find some anime about cooking or some that includes plus size characters, so you will feel better. When you are so sad his heart hurts more than when he died right as the boss got like 1 hp left in his favorite game.
-Also.. What did you say about all these cosplayers? He now makes you a great outfit so he can prove to you how much more beautiful you will look in cosplay than all these people..!
-"Here..! Try this!" - he drag you to his room and show you a dress that looks as if it would be worn by some magical girl like Sailor moon. - "Come on, you will look hella cute in this..! After all, it's my work, and I always pay attention to all details, don't you see?"
-Will make one of your photos like his avatar in social media as he really can't stop admiring your beautiful form here.
-Levi will use any opportunity to show you his love, maybe sometimes not with the real words but through text as he's too embarrassed to say something like that out loud but still.. Despite he hates when Asmo doing this, just for you, he will add extra hearts in the end <3
Tumblr media
-Honey.. From all people on this planet.. you…?!
-He's stunned. Speechless. Will probably give you a side eye for a moment. Come on, baby, beauty loves confidence, and if you keep being so shy about yourself you will never shine bright..!
-If you will avoid him because you are afraid that you're not worth his attention, the attention of the most beautiful, skinny, precious demon in Devildom, then he has no choice but to annoy you everyday.
-Expect a bunch of text from him with millions of sweet words about your cute appearance and breathtaking figure. Also will shower you with presents, from small lipstick to a whole outfit.
-"S/o..! Oh, my precious charming goodness, here you are!" - he gets closer and, before you have time to react, pepper all your face in small quick kisses. - "Are you sad again about your figure? Stop it, there's no one who has such a mesmerizing and beautiful body as you have..! And I'm willing to show you how truthful my words of love are in any way you want me to, darling..!♡"
-He's a pro in fashion! And he knows how to enhance the beauty of his little beloved girl, finding the right clothes that suit your stunning look.
-So yeah, Asmo will take you with him to all the shops now. He thinks that if you refresh your wardrobe a little then you will also refresh your mind. You will be able to look at yourself from his view and realize just how much potential you have.
-"Hurry up, there's at least five stores that I wanted to show you..!" - he takes your arms and leads you through the streets - "You know, shopping always helps me forget about everything, so come on, let's enjoy our little date today, hehe..!"
-There's no one who will outshine Asmo in beauty. Well, at least among demons. Cause among people there's no one who will outshine you, and he will repeat it to you until you will remember it, darling.

Re: what would an audience want from an FFA content creator:
Sorry to do this via anon, but I'm a feedist that's been in restrictive ED recovery for the last couple years, and I would go crazy for feedist content about:
-letting go of fear/shame around eating
-gaining weight as a healthy, necessary thing that isn't "ruining my body" or "giving into gluttony"
-being comforted and reassured that this is indeed what I'm supposed to be doing for my health and happiness
-that while I still struggle with internalized fatphobia and bad body image, there are feedists out there who think I'm still (or more) attractive letting my body be the size it wants to be without it being a "I get off to you being such an unfit, weak-willed slob" thing that conforms to every stereotype about fat people.
I'm comfortable talking more over DMs or additional anons if you're at all interested, but most feedist content creators tend to (understandably) run screaming from this subject, so please don't feel obligated if this doesn't sound like something you'd be interested in.
Thank you so much for such an open and candid response. Firstly, I'm pleased you reached out because I think this is more common than some think. I myself am experiencing this, for example.
I say congratulations for taking steps to recover and I applaud your herculean effort wholeheartedly ♡
With that in mind, I don't think this is unreasonable at all. I *love* the idea of something nurturing, self-loving, and just *warm*.
I'm not someone who gains etc myself, but I can imagine that even those in the thick of it would experience moments of self-doubt. So I feel this could be a good thing for many.
If you need to talk about this, my dms are open and I try to reply whenever I can, you're not alone.
Thanks for the ask, I hope you have a lovely rest of your day 💕

Feeling Good | Edward Nashton/The Riddler x GenderNeutral!Reader | N/SFW (18+)
Hey there! AH, thank you SO much!!! <3 <3 <3 Thanks for the request, I love it! I really hope you like what I've done with it. :') I've only done Riddler now, but I kept the request in my Google Doc, so I might eventually write it for Abner as well. No promises, though! ^^" <3
summary; An exploration of Ed growing bigger and you loving his tummy (and making him come).
notes; Gender Neutral!Reader; Chubby!Edward Nashton; Body Positivity; Mentions of Past (Food-Related) Trauma & Abuse; Light Body Worship; Oral Sex; Short Fic.
Ever since he’s gotten out of the orphanage, Edward didn’t care about what or how much he ate. All his life, he barely got anything to eat and what they got was barely passable as food. So, now that he had the money and ability to buy and cook his own food, he was in heaven.
Of course, that also came with the consequence of gaining weight. At first he was just filling out what was ‘normal’, considering that he had been pretty severely underweight before he left the orphanage.
But then it became more and more and he started to put on weight a little beyond what might have been considered normal. His stomach grew soft and distended. He didn’t care, though. Why should he? He was still healthy and he felt good. He liked looking in the mirror and seeing himself like this.
Ed never grew past being slightly chubby, though, no matter what. He didn’t mind it, it was probably better this way if he was being honest.
All that mattered was that he kept feeling good about himself.
Although, he had to admit that when he started seeing you, he was becoming a bit self-conscious. Would you like his stomach or would you judge him for it like people were so prone to doing?
It worried him because he liked you so much and he didn’t want to lose you over something as trivial as weight and fat. Did it really matter so much?
But as time went on and you saw each other more often, he noticed the way you would often poke his stomach with this lovely smile on your lips and glint in your eyes. He wasn’t ticklish at all, so it never bothered him that you did it. And when he saw how happy you seemed when you poked him, he welcomed it even more. It made him happy in return.
The first time you two had sex, you went down on him. You kissed a path down to his stomach, where you stayed for quite a while, simply roaming your hands over it, such as your lips and tongue.
It only made him feel more aroused. His cock twitched and spurted a bit of pre-cum. He had had no idea how much he liked it when you paid so much attention to his bigger stomach.
You grinned up at him and bit into his flesh, sucking on his skin and leaving a bruise once you were done. He was so close to coming from that alone. It was all too much and yet not enough.
At last, you took his hard, leaking member into your mouth and sucked on his cock head to the point that your cheeks hollowed out. Moaning, he arched his back and reflexively put his hands on your head to hold on.
Then, you bobbed your head, taking him deeper and deeper. One of your hands held onto the base of his cock. The other one found his tummy again, squeezing and playing with it. Ed groaned softly. You were driving him crazy with what you were doing.
All too soon, he was coming, writhing underneath you, as he moaned and groaned wildly. He couldn't remember ever having come this hard or quick. He felt a little embarrassed about it at first, but by the way you smiled at him that feeling went away soon.
“I love your tummy,” you whispered against his lips before kissing Edward. He could taste himself on your lips. He also felt his face grow hot as he blushed furiously. “I love you.”
“I love you, too,” he sighed, pecking your lips. He truly considered himself to be the luckiest man alive.
Since then, you always played with his tummy. At any given time, you would grab a handful of his flesh and squeeze it lovingly, or simply poke it, and when it got heated, you sucked bruises into his skin there until he couldn’t take it anymore. And he absolutely loved it.

Y'know.... I love fat positivity, I do, but there's one thing that really, really bothers me about it. Y'all need to stop acting like the ONLY reasons to not want to gain weight are social, and that if it weren't for people treating fat folks worse, nobody would ever worry about their weight. That simply isn't true. I've been slowly gaining weight over the last few years, with depression and a lack of nutritional control making it very difficult to get up and work it off. I don't especially care what other people think about it, because I rarely see other people to begin with, and people have never been especially kind to me unless I put in a week's worth of effort to my appearance. You wanna know why i don't want to be fat? Why i wanna lose the weight? 1. Buying new clothes is fucking expensive. Let's imagine, for the sake of argument, that all the cute stuff I like WASN'T religated to skinny people. That still wouldn't change the fact that I have clothes RIGHT NOW, that I love, that I'm not going to find a replacement for, that I cannot fit into anymore. Which means I have less options on what I can wear, especially if I wanna wear it outside. But even cheap clothes cost money. Buying an entire new wardrobe because my body just randomly decided it's gonna get bigger now SUCKS. there is no getting around that; i didn't like doing it when i was a growing lass in school, and i don't like doing it now as an adult who is supposed to be done growing. 2. My Spine. I am pretty much destined to have back problems, something i've already begun to develop at the ripe old age of 25. My natural resting position is a clouch, I curl up like an unborn baby when I sleep, and my tits have the combined weight of a frozen turkey. I do not need even MORE extra weight on my spine. And no, having an unhealthy spine wouldn't make me Less Valuable as a person, it's not some terrible fate that removes my life of happiness, you don't HAVE to be healthy, but it's still an uncomfortable thing i would very much like to AVOID. 3. It's making it harder to sleep. Listen. I have insomnia already as it is. I don't need my slowly developing double-chin to swoop in and make certain positions unbreathable and make it even fucking HARDER to sleep. I can no longer sleep in some of my comfiest poses because fat is getting in the way and making them unworkable. and yes, these are all, ultimately, minor inconveniences. But they're inconveniences that FUCKING matter to me. I'm so tired of "I wanna lose weight" being treated as some slight against all fat people and something that no normal person would ever want all on their own without magazines telling them blah blah FUCKING blah. It is a decision you can come to because becoming fat has an effect on your life. not just a social effect, not just a mental health effect, a Tangible, PHYSICAL change to how you interact with your body and with the world. I don't hate my body, aside from maybe a couple reproductive organs. but i would like it more if it would stop growing out and cooperate with me. i miss the way that it was just a few years back. i am allowed to be upset about these changes.
yes, i could choose to love my body as it is and accept the changes that come with it. but i can ALSO choose to acknowledge the reasons i'm gaining weight and try to make some changes in my life. that is not a slight against you, and it is not a slight against myself. and frankly, i'm not very comfortable with the idea that i shouldn't be making decisions on what my body looks like beyond the decorations. strikes me as a bit transphobic in nature if i'm gonna be fully honest.

to everyone who came into the bear community to be fatphobic and try to say that the bear community was for skinny buff men with body hair only instead of the men the community was made for, the chubby queer men this community was for.... congratulations, you took away my safety blanket during my eating disorder recovery
I have been trying to recover from a restrictive eating disorder, it was so bad i could place both my hands on each side and fit my hands perfectly around my waist, it was enforced on me by my biological parents as a way of controlling me, i have not once in my life had enough food to eat
the one comfort i had in this as i started to put on weight was that as a gay trans man i could look to the bear community, i was simply becoming a bear, and that helped me so much while i was putting on weight as i started to slowly increase my food intake towards a healthy amount but then it stopped... because i found out that i wasn't welcome in a space that was made for people like me
i was "too feminine" in my presentation and some people had decided you had to be hypermasculine to be a bear... i was "too weak" my lifelong eating problems had resulted is muscle weakness that i am having to work on to be able to function and do simple daily tasks, meaning that i can't fit into the idea of bears all being buff, and of course... even though i haven't even worked my way up to three meals a day yet... now im too fat... i was robbed.... robbed of a sense of identity and security at this most difficult time in my life... i hope all you wolves claiming to be bears while driving the bears out of the community that was made for us to celebrate our bodies while you say we're "too fat" and "promoting obesity" are happy with yourselves because no one else is, i deserve better than this, i deserve better than being told im too fat to be attractive to anyone, that my mere existence is repulsive and i should hide myself away when all im trying to do is look after my health so im not wasting away anymore
im sick and fucking tired of people using "health" as a code word to bully people into being skinny when skinny is the least healthy thing for me
i deserve better, i deserve my place in my own community back, i deserve the security back that the word "bear" used to bring me i deserve to know that i am deserving of love in all its forms at any weight including when im at my heaviest, i deserve comfort while im in recovery, i deserve security while im in recovery, i deserve to prioritise my health while im in recovery without having that security and comfort being taken away from me and all you fucking people who tell me i "need to take better care of my health" as a coded way of telling me to lose way can go fuck yourselves, this is me taking care of my health, this is me prioritising my health over your fucked up beauty standards, like it or not this is what health looks like for me

this isn’t a usual ask, but today i’m just feeling particularly pissed about the way the masculine body is treated in hollywood and how stranger things perpetuates it. like the fact that not only did joseph quinn crash diet for months for the role of eddie to have a more “young” look, it was also spoken about at length during interviews. same with david harbour, even though his character had a tangible reason for it beyond aesthetic, he specifically said in interviews the expectations of his body was really damaging. i know a lot of young boys who enjoy stranger things including my brother, and i don’t want them to see content promoting the idea that someone at a healthy weight like joseph quinn needs to change his body for such a short appearance or that hopper was treated as sexier after his weight loss even within the show. this is part of why your blog has been so comforting to me, you’re very focused on showing appreciation outside of a conventional sculpted figure and masculine persona. you can totally ignore this if it’s ridiculous, but i just wanted to let you know i appreciate you 💞

Aaaaaaaweeee Capsi!!
Thank you so much for this, I agree with you, I think it's super important.
I have my blog here to present boys getting to be fat in the "wrong" ways or fat at all and appreciated. Like yes broadly David Harbour was treated as sexier in the show and in general after his weight loss, which is one thing, but he also had a super strong following before because he was masculine and fat in the right way. Early Chris Pratt was a lot like this too. But like again it comes back to permissible/expected presentations of hyper gendered fatness. I feel like all we're allowed to see are lumberjacks and bombshells. Don't get me wrong I love a bombshell and I can appreciate a lumberjack, but I am transfem leaning non-binary/gender fluid person. I love my soft feminine boyish body. I want to be able to see myself in media being happy, I want my body to valued and not just looked past. I will probably always write sex or intimacy between people with penises because that's my experience and what I'm most comfortable with, i prioritize softness, femininity, and fatness on bodies where that combination is more stigmatized, but I value all people and just want this to be a place where people can find that sexual legibility. I want it to be kind of healing. I don't know if it is or if I'm really succeeding in my goal, but that's what I want.
It's hard for fat fems, faggots, gay boys, trans girls and I just want to show it doesnt have to be only ex-jocks, and dad-bods, and bombshells, bbws. I love all of these, but I've personally felt limited in how even in fat appreciative spaces I feel like there are marginalized forms of fatness, and I want us all to be liberated.

FFXIV Write 2k23 - Day 13
Check - Emperor AU (tw: Mild Eating Disorder)
Things had fallen into a comfortable pattern for Hero, he sat at his desk in the morning after having breakfast with Varis, Quintus, Regula or Asahi. Varis told him military news, Quintus told him what was happening within the capital and surrounding areas, Regula told him what was happening abroad, and Asahi tended to eat in silence. He only came when there was no news, or the others were too busy to keep an eye on their Emperor. Hero knew the real reason someone was always there with him, it was to make sure he ate.
He’d never had a physical before, the idea of someone poking and prodding at his body once a year to make sure he was healthy seemed invasive. Underweight, the medicus had said. Underfed, made of lean muscle and not enough body fat. Hero was used to going a few days without a real meal; he used his own aether to keep moving now, but before Midgardsomr had interfered, the blessing from Hydaelyn had kept him functional far beyond what he should have been able to survive.
Hero didn’t realize anything was wrong with him. He thought he was fine, but it was enough to terrify his retinue. He wondered if he’d be able to survive if it wasn’t for his aether powering him. He was a god slayer, sure, but how strong would he be if he didn’t need to use his aether to keep his body from dying from the stress he put it through? He tapped his spoon against the barely-cooked yolk of the egg on his toast, allowing it to break and soak the bread below. He’d fought with Varis over the menu, foods too rich made him sick after years of adventuring and eating light. Instead the medicus oversaw his recovery and controlled his diet while the people he’d learned to trust kept a close eye on him.
An alert pinged on Asahi’s data pad and Hero’s ears turned towards it before his head followed. “That’s a Regula ping.” Meaning his spy network had news important enough to alert Hero immediately instead of waiting for Regula to introduce it in person.
“Yes, give me a moment your Radiance.” Asahi had to resist the urge to roll his eyes every time Hero stated the obvious around him, and he was terrible at it. Hero found it charming, really. He knew Asahi only took the job to meet Zenos in person again, but he’d grown fond of having a personal assistant willing to tell him off when he was being a brat. “Your friends in Ishgard seem to have stumbled face first into a plot, Lady Taru-”
“Just call her Tataru.”
“Lady. Taru.” Asahi insisted through gritted teeth, “has requested your presence, but in an unofficial capacity. We already helped Ishgard repel Nidhogg, what more could they need?”
“Ascians. If they need me specifically in an unofficial capacity? It means Ascians.” He began to eat faster, knowing no one would let him leave this table before he’d finished. “They need the Warrior of Light- not the Emperor of Garlemald.”
“You have meetings-”
“Cancel them!”
“There’s a dedication-”
“I’m going. End of discussion. Pretend it’s a diplomatic mission if you must but I am going, I am seeing my friends, and I am punching one of those shadowless twats in the face if it’s the last thing I do.” Hero grinned wide, his Au Ra genes showing every time he bared his fangs with his near-feral smile.
“I’m coming with you then, and Zenos. I can call Zenos. You need an honor guard at minimum.”
“Unofficial capacity means there might be a primal, what would you do if Zenos got tempered?” Asahi’s eyes narrowed, his entire face turning like a sudden spring storm before he found his trademark false calm once again.
“Fine.” He almost spit the word out, “I’ll tell Regula you’ve chosen to answer the request, and you’ll be on an airship posthaste.”
“That’s the spirit.” Hero spared Asahi a wink and blew him a kiss, “no one will miss me anyway, this whole nation just politely pretends I’m supposed to be here, not having to kiss my ass for a day will make more people happy than mad.”
“I refuse to acknowledge giving you the regard befitting your station as kissing your ass, your Radiance.” He was smirking a little though, so Hero still could count it as a win.

The Healthy Raising of Humans
Most people have the misconception that humans are an easy pet to raise, given their adaptable nature. What is most forgotten is that they are social creatures. You NEED to have multiple humans so they get healthy socialization. They are also prone to anxiety and depression if their needs aren't met, so be attentive!
Broadly speaking males are furrier than females, and the females will have larger fat deposits on their thoraxes. This is only the general rule, so be sure to double check with your vet! Humans are notoriously hard to breed in captivity unless you are a trained breeder, so most assume they are safe having a male and female together, but if they aren't properly fixed pregnancy can still occur. If you don't want little babies popping up keep a careful eye on your pets if you get differing sexes.
Speaking of babies, if you do end up with any be sure to be in contact with your vet or a local breeder. Human babies are very fragile and must be with the parents for an incredibly long time. Since they are social creatures humans will raise young together even if the baby isn't theirs. They all, also, will grow despondent if you take the baby away. This is why it is best to let trained breeders deal with them, because their stock of parents will be prepared for their offspring to be taken away eventually. Home breeders will soon discover that even if they wait for the healthy age to take offspring away it will still cause distress to both parent and child.
Regarding diet humans are omnivores so they have a wide array of options. Their digestive system has a hard time breaking down plant matter with high cellulose. They might be able to eat it, but they won't gain any nutrition, so stick to plants that are easier to break down. It is also highly suggested that if you want to give them any meat to cook it beforehand to avoid infections. You can also buy kibble for humans, but be sure to read the label and that there isn't a high concentration of chalk to bulk it up. Some humans have a propensity for being picky eaters, so just experiment until you find a diet they like! It is recommended to feed them three meals a day.
For their environment it is suggested they have a warm living space. If you don't live somewhere warm or you can't get a heater then fear not! Humans can live in colder environments as well, you just need to purchase some little sweaters for them. Unlike some other pets they are pretty chill with getting dressed up and even sometimes enjoy the experience. Just make sure the material is comfortable for them, as Humans have weak skin that can easily be damaged. Even without clothes special attention should be paid to their skin. Regular bathing is suggested, as is lotions or humidifiers if their environment is too dry. Grooming is also highly recommended for their fur, as it will continuously grow. Some breeders sell human hair to be made into textiles.
Humans are easily bored so be prepared to buy plenty of toys for them. You may have heard that humans are great pets for the active, but this is also a bit of a misconception. Some pets love exploring the great outdoors and doing activities with their owners, but just as often there humans that much prefer to stay indoors and relax. Find humans that best fit your lifestyle and if you end up getting one that doesn't live up to your expectations know that you can always find another one. Remember, you need multiple humans for their own happiness!
When owning humans be prepared for your home to no longer be quiet, they are quite vocal creatures. They will often communicate with each other and can make a variety of noises. You may have seen videos are humans "talking" with their owners, but they are only copying the sounds they hear. Having an actual conversation is impossible, but studies have shown that they can communicate simple ideas like wanting food or their favorite toy with their owners.
Going on with their mental capabilities they are extremely smart. If there are places you don't want your human to go or things to get into invest in good locks. Simple latches won't deter them and especially curious humans have been known to break through barricades. They also learn schedules easily so they may cause mischief when they know you won't be around, or they'll remind you EXACTLY when feeding time is. They can easily be taught tricks and it is recommended they learn a variety of commands both for keeping them well behaved and for enrichment purposes.
A fun fact about humans that most don't know is that they have more color receptors in their eyes than we do. As such they can differentiate between colors better than we can so they can more easily pick out difference between objects. Some organizations are starting to use humans to help in their work since we can't tell the difference without analyzing them, while humans can separate the desired objects out at a glance. So if you notice your human having a preference between two things that are the same it might ACTUALLY look different to them!
Speaking of colors, humans come in a variety of morphs. They come in many shades, some even with spots. Their fur also comes in an array of textures. Some breeders like to focus on specific morphs, while others like to mix and match. Though if you want a specific morph be sure to check with a vet for any health issues. As with any animal, the wider the gene pool the healthier they are. Focusing on specific traits may lead to accidentally focusing on health issues as well.

I have a genuine question : is there anything wrong with a cis person getting on hormones if it's done privately and not interfering with waitlists?
For context, I'm trans m and had to wait around 3 years for my testosterone. My cousin is a cis m and have always been very feminine in personality, but he has severe body dysphoria on how masculine his body is. He has always been like this and we've known eachother our whole lives so I know it's not just a recent thing. I suggested estrogen and/or testosterone blockers for him, but he was worried about taking resources away from a trans person who may actually need it, so I thought about doing this privately.
Here in my country, if you dont wanna get in a waitlist you need to be seeing an endocrinologist and a therapist frequently and buy your hormones with your own money. I didn't go through this because it's obviously expensive to pay for all the sessions and hormones, but that was when I was younger and now both me and him have a job, and since it's something he truly wants I'm more than happy to help.
We both researched the effects of both estrogen and testosterone blockers. He is fine with all of the effects (except for boob growth but it can be avoided) and knows that there's a chance he'll get dysphoric but he can always just stop taking them. He wants the hormones mainly for fat retribution, decreasing of muscle mass and thinning of body hair.
He used to be very insecure about his body and depressed about being "stuck" in a masculine body until I told him there were options. Despite hating his masculine features, he likes his genitals and likes being treated as a guy, and has thought about being trans before but he hated being seen as a girl. So he's certainly not a trans girl in denial.
Is this a bad idea? He's very aware of the effects and wants a majority of them. He's also getting hormones privately so he's not getting in the way of anyone else. In my mind, it's all good, but I'm also young so there might be a chance I'm doing something stupid, so I'm getting some more opinions about this. Thank you!
There are a lot of reasons why someone would take hormones. Only one of those reasons have to do with being trans. There are actually a lot of cis people that take hormones for several different reasons. They are not taking away from trans resources.
The resource issue comes from people who claim to be trans (who aren't) taking hormones. Because they back up the wait-list that is for trans people. Cis people have a different wait-list. I don't think he's taking away from trans resources and I really don't think he should be all that worried about doing so. The only ones who are going to get priority are those who medically need the hormones. Someone doing it for dysphoria or dysmorphia won't get as much priority. Your cousin would fall into that second area.
Most cis people take hormones for medical reasons (like their body doesn't make enough of something). Body dysmorphia reasons I feel are a little less common. Simple because it can be harder to get. It's not medically necessary so it's going to be a lot more outta pocket expenses. It's a body imagine issue not a physical health one.
I do think there's something to be said about accepting certain part of yourself. And you can talk about society pushing ideas on how you should look. But I am a firm believer that you can do what you want with your body. It's yours. If you understand the risks and are comfortable with all possible consequences, then have at it. My only advice is to make sure you're in close consultation with a therapist and doctor to make sure it's actually what you want to do, if you should do it, and keep you under control of what's happening/healthy throughout the process.
Basically. Hormones aren't a trans exclusive thing. There's nothing wrong with other people taking hormones. It's only a problem if you're claiming to be trans in order to get access to them. Your body. Your choice. Know your risks, accept your consequences, and do what will make you happy.

Is it bad to eat rice every day?
Tumblr media
Rice is the backbone of meals for a huge chunk of the world. A steaming bowl of rice is comfort food across so many cultures. But these days, with so many diets telling us to cut carbs, it makes you wonder...is rice actually good for us?
Tumblr media
Forget the fads for a second, let's dive into the real deal about this pantry staple. We'll look at the good stuff inside, how to make it part of a balanced diet, and some cool history about this grain that's been around FOREVER. What's the Power Inside Rice? Think of rice like your body's favorite gas station – it's mostly carbs, which are basically fuel for all the things we do. Each little grain packs an energy punch. But, there's more to rice than just quick energy – let's check out the two most common types: - Brown Rice: The Whole Grain Champ This is the complete package – it's got the bran (the outer layer), the germ (the nutrient-rich core), and the endosperm (the starchy bit in the middle). This combo makes it a well-rounded food. The bran has lots of fiber, which helps you feel full and keeps your digestion happy. The germ is full of healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. Brown rice is like having a personal trainer and a nutritionist in one tiny package! - White Rice: The Speedy Energy Boost White rice has the bran and germ removed, so it cooks faster and is super soft. Think of it as the sprinter of the rice world – a quick burst of energy, but missing some of the "staying power" that brown rice has. Still totally fine to eat, just don't make it your only source of carbs. https://youtu.be/RSLSnSbKrZY Rice and You: Finding the Healthy Balance The truth is, no one food should be the star of every meal. It's all about variety! But the good news is, rice can absolutely be part of a healthy diet. Here's the key: - Mix and Match: Think of rice as the base of your meal, then get creative with toppings and sides! Here are some ideas: - Beans or lentils + rice = complete protein power! - Toss in tons of colorful veggies! (check out a super simple recipe at https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/collection/vegetarian-stir-fry-recipes) - Add healthy fats like avocado, nuts, or a drizzle of olive oil. Yum! - Portion Control: A fistful of cooked rice is a good portion for most of us. It'll fill you up without going overboard on the carbs. What about Blood Sugar? Here's where it gets a bit tricky. White rice gets digested quickly, which can make your blood sugar spike. Not great if you're watching your weight or have diabetes. - Brown Rice to the Rescue: The fiber in brown rice slows everything down, so your blood sugar rises more gradually. - Can I Still Have White Rice? You bet! Just remember – it's all about balancing it with lots of veggies, protein, and healthy fats. Rice Through the Ages Get this – scientists think rice has been around for over 10,000 years! Pretty wild, right? Here's a fun fact: People started growing rice in Asia way back then, and farmers have figured out how to grow it in so many different climates, from swampy fields to dry areas. It just shows how important (and tasty) rice is! Grandma's Rice Wisdom Okay, time for a little story. My grandma makes THE BEST rice. She grew up in India, and there was always a pot of fluffy, fragrant rice cooking. Her secret? She rinses it really well before cooking to get rid of extra starch. Plus, she adds a pinch of salt to the water, which makes the rice taste even better! Rice FAQs: Your Questions Answered Let's clear up some of the common questions about rice: - Is rice gluten-free? Yep! So if you have a gluten intolerance, rice is a safe bet. - What's the deal with arsenic in rice? It's true there's a tiny bit of arsenic in rice (and other foods) because it's in the soil. But, don't stress too much. Eating a variety of grains and rinsing your rice before cooking helps lower the amount you get. - Is rice okay for athletes? Definitely! Carbs are fuel, especially if you do endurance sports. Brown rice is great for long-lasting energy, and white rice is good if you need a quick carb boost before a workout. - Can I reheat rice safely? Yes, BUT there's a right way to do it. Cool cooked rice quickly, store it in the fridge, and when you reheat it, make sure it's steaming hot the whole way through. The Takeaway: Rice is Still a Winner So, should you ditch rice because of a few diet trends? Definitely not! It's all about moderation and making smart choices. For most people, brown rice is a great source of nutrients and fiber. White rice is fine too, but just enjoy it alongside other healthy foods. If you have diabetes or have to be extra careful with blood sugar, definitely talk to your doctor. Rice is more than just a side dish. It's a food that has connected people for centuries. There are so many unique and delicious ways to enjoy rice all over the world. Let's take a quick trip across the globe:
Tumblr media
Rice Around the World – Taste the Adventure! - Asia: Where it all began! Think fragrant jasmine rice from Thailand, sticky rice enjoyed in many East Asian countries, and long-grain basmati rice from India. There are countless amazing dishes to try! - Latin America: Rice and beans are like the peanut butter and jelly of many Latin American countries. It's simple, but so delicious. And you gotta try arroz con pollo (chicken and rice) – a classic! - Europe: Italy's risotto is a creamy, dreamy dish made with special short-grain rice. In Spain, they make paella, a giant pan filled with rice, meats, seafood, and a ton of flavor. - Africa: There are so many unique rice varieties grown in Africa! A West African favorite is jollof rice, cooked with tomatoes, spices, and often meat or fish. So vibrant and tasty! Did You Know? Fun Rice Facts - There are over 40,000 types of rice grown around the world! Mind-blowing, right? - Rice paddies help the environment. They provide homes for all sorts of creatures, and even help reduce greenhouse gases. - In some cultures, throwing rice at weddings is a tradition wishing the newlyweds good fortune! "Rice is a gift from the gods, a food that gives strength, wisdom, and a happy heart." Ancient Chinese Proverb The Bottom Line: Enjoy Your Rice! Rice is a fantastic source of energy, especially for active people. Remember, brown rice packs more of a nutritional punch overall. Mix rice with all sorts of other healthy foods, watch your portion sizes, and savor all the delicious ways it can be prepared. If you have specific health concerns, it's always a good idea to check in with your doctor. Don't be scared away by diet fads. Rice has been a staple food across the globe for centuries – and for good reason! Celebrate the diversity of rice dishes, try new varieties, and make it part of a balanced and joyful approach to eating. Key Takeaways - Rice is a good source of carbohydrates – your body's favorite source of energy! - Brown rice is the most nutritious choice, thanks to its fiber, vitamins, and minerals. - White rice is perfectly fine to eat in moderation. Just mix it with other healthy foods. - Portion matters! A fistful of cooked rice is about right for most adults. - People with diabetes or blood sugar concerns should talk to their doctor about the best way to incorporate rice into their diet. 大家好! The company had arranged for a small Xmas buffet lunch for us which included salad, assorted ham, pasta, creamy carrot and orange soup, chicken meatballs, grilled chicken, fish in cream sauce, breaded prawns, beef and grilled veggies. The spread also included desserts like small cakes, log cake, mousse, as well as fruit punch. I didn't touch the dessert since I don't have a sweet tooth. The food was okay except for the pasta; al dente is overrated, too chewy and gross.

Colleagues found the soup strange-tasting as well as too creamy, and the assorted ham salty. There was also plenty of leftover pasta but no one wanted to bring any home. I was happy to return to local/Asian fare, including nasi padang (the Muslim version of cai fan - mixed dishes and rice). Chicken-wise, the stall sold ayam goreng (fried chicken), ayam sambal (sambal chicken) and ayam rendang (chicken rendang). I chose ayam goreng and, to lessen saturated fat intake, left most of the batter and skin behind.
Tumblr media
It felt comforting to tuck into cai fan and fluffy, soft rice after the Xmas lunch. Tomato eggs are so delicious, I choose them over fish and meat every so often. Eaten with other veggies and rice, this dish forms part of a fibre-rich, heart healthy meal; not only is it tastier than fastfood, it's also better for us. I said I would eat more meat during the rainy season - chicken counts as meat in my country, but I forgot about red meat, as usual. Must remember to eat some or it's hard to keep warm on chilly days.
Tumblr media
youtube
Xmas has arrived in my country and there're no Xmas lights, no Xmas tree, no presents to open up, no huge dinner, no carols for me. What I learnt from this Gaza war is, religious traditions are merely symbolic, they don't truly reflect someone's heart. Since I don't celebrate Xmas any longer, I eat moderately healthy, remember Grandma and pray for the Palestinian civilians in Gaza, a ceasefire and a two-state solution. This time of year has lost its magic after seeing the immense cruelty inflicted on an entire population. So much innocent blood has been shed that any party that doesn't agree to a ceasefire seems devoid of basic humanity.
Tumblr media
Time flies, it wasn't that long ago that we said goodbye to 2023; soon we'll usher in a brand new year and I hope it will be a more peaceful one. After the covid pandemic and subsequent hyperinflation, I pray for better days ahead. No more wars, more cooperation, so that all of us can work towards returning to prosperity. It's insane to think we can somehow decouple and still maintain our standards of living. 下次见!

1. Swap To Conscientious Dietary Plan
Do you have any idea how powerful your daily diet can be in healing the health of your heart? Your kitchen is the master king of your health condition. Everything is connected in this human system. Today, people follow a Satvic lifestyle to enhance their mental and physical wellbeing which eventually helps them to live beautifully and better. When you intake those vivid fruits, vibrant vegetables, whole grains, and ambiguous proteins which altogether helps in the reduction of saturated fats, sodium, and refined sugar. Avoid preservatives and junk food as that may harm your lifestyle.
2. Sweat Today, Shine Tomorrow
As you wriggle you allow the cells of your body to enjoy your lifestyle well. Make sure you contribute your time to exercising every day for more than 30 minutes. Every round will make you healthier and brighter. Our body is prone to store emotions, when you exercise there is an overall uplift to your mood. You might be thinking exercise makes me crazier but wait a second, when you devote your time to workout, you give a strong signal to your body that you care to live long and healthy. 3. Just Let Your Stress Fly & RELAX!
Cultivating a healthy lifestyle, Aditi Jagtap Pune, daughter of Ranjit Jagtap educates on how stress is injurious to heart health. We all happen to appear from different walks of life and have different experiences. There is a strong possibility that not everyone can understand your stress but believe me, when you decide to fly, nothing can come your way. Put your armor on and start opting for good practices from mindfulness, meditation, and deep breathing. These activities will always ground you down. When you worry a lot, all the uninvited diseases come to your place while asking you to binge-watch them instead of your favorite series all day long.
4. Man Becomes Genius When He’s Dreaming
As per Aditi Jagtap Pune, Sleep well no matter how excited or upset you are. Don’t compromise your sleep for a little profit or loss. Charge your mind and body by sinking into the bed for at least 8 hours a day. When you forsake your sleep, you increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases in your life. Try sticking to a routine where you find yourself relaxing each day. Choose a comfortable mattress that allows your spine to relax completely.
5. Regular Checkups & Day Care
At Dr Ranjit Jagtap Clinic, patients visit to get their heart checkups done and solve different issues on a day-to-day basis. This will keep your blood pressure and diabetes in control. Here you get to work closely with healthcare professionals who recommend each patient to live proactively which would result in living a peaceful and faithful life. Prevent yourself from the ups and downs of life by detecting the risks early in your life.
6. Drop Alcohol, Smoking and Tobacco
There are many chances of increasing blood pressure when you consume alcohol. It adds extra calories to your diet while causing harm to your liver. Both reasons increase the chances of heart disease in your life. Whereas consuming tobacco can increase the risk of heart stroke and attack. No one knows when you are going to get another life.
Conclusion:
Heart Diseases can happen at any age so don’t stick to the old beliefs that youngsters or teens can’t get these attacks in their lives. Self-Care as a Preventive Measure for Mental Health: Ideas and Practices | Solh Wellness
Self-care is necessary for preserving psychological wellness and avoiding mental health problems. Making conscious choices to enhance your overall health, including your physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, is what it entails. Self-care does not equate to egotism or indulgence. If you want to stay healthy, you must look after yourself.
As self-care has gained popularity, it has expanded to encompass both concentrating on one's general well-being and recognising and attending to one's own needs. Whatever you do for yourself that makes you feel good is self-care. Self-care is routinely assessing one's physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Self-care is something that people do for a variety of reasons, such as processing bad news or maintaining everyday delight. Since different people have different practises, each person's definition of self-care is unique, and through time, people's notions of self-care may vary.
Self-Care Strategies
Self-care can take many different forms, which can be further divided into the following groups:
Emotional self-care practises include self-talk, taking weekly bubble baths, saying "no" to situations that add extra stress, taking pauses, and scheduling weekly coffee dates with friends.
Physical self-care, such as making sleep a priority, creating a dependable workout regimen, or selecting wholesome, nutritious foods over those that have been overly processed
Going to church, spending time in nature, meditating, carrying out small acts of kindness throughout the day, or keeping a gratitude diary are all examples of spiritual self-care.
Tumblr media
Tips for self-care
Following are some advice and techniques for self-care that may promote mental health:
Make sure you get enough sleep every night and make having a good night's sleep a priority. Create a comfy nighttime routine, stick to a regular sleep schedule, and keep your bedroom at a comfortable temperature
Meditation and mindfulness practises can improve your ability to cope with stress, lessen anxiety, and develop self-awareness. Simple present-moment mindfulness, guided imagery, or deep breathing are a few examples of these techniques.
Exercise regularly: Exercise produces endorphins, which help lower stress and improve mood. To keep active, try to spend at least 30 minutes each day of the week doing something you enjoy. Walking, running, practising yoga, dancing, or taking part in a sport are all examples of this.
In order to maintain a balanced diet, eat a mix of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, and healthy fats. Alcohol, sugary foods, and processed foods should not be consumed in excess because they might be detrimental to your mental health.
Use relaxation techniques: Incorporate deep breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation, and warm baths into your regular routine. These techniques help ease anxiety, calm the mind, and encourage relaxation.
It's crucial to forge supporting ties with loved ones, close friends, or organisations that promote a nurturing and understanding environment. In trying circumstances, having a solid support network may make you feel listened, valued, and supported.
Establishing appropriate limits in your commitments and relationships is something you should work on. Make time for the things that make you happy and fulfilled while prioritising your needs.
Hobbies and recreational activities should be pursued: Spend time doing things you find calming and pleasurable. Choose pastimes that help you unwind and recharge, whether they be reading, writing, painting, gardening, playing an instrument, or engaging in other creative activities.
Conclusion
You must never forget how important it is to establish your own route to self-care. Therefore, it's crucial to determine what functions finest for you. Solh Wellness aims to provide people with proactive mental health treatments before things grow worse. Make taking care of yourself a priority in your life and try out different strategies to proactively assist your mental health. The Solh Wellness App should be downloaded to start the transformation.

What is the ice hack for weight loss?
Tumblr media
The so-called "weight loss hack" of consuming Alpilean ice has recently acquired popularity. However, this assertion is not backed by strong scientific evidence. Using ice as a weight loss aid has been cautioned against by several medical professionals as potentially harmful. Instead, red light therapy is a more efficient and secure option for losing weight.
Red light therapy, sometimes called low-level light therapy, employs medical-grade LEDs to penetrate the skin and activate the body's natural healing processes in a non-invasive manner. Originating with NASA studies, this treatment has been thoroughly investigated in recent years. Red light treatment has been demonstrated to help with a variety of issues, from inflammation to skin health to, yes, weight reduction.
Red light therapy was shown to dramatically lower participants' waist circumference, hip circumference, and body mass index (BMI), according to a research published in the International Journal of Endocrinology. Red light treatment in conjunction with exercise resulted in better weight reduction and lower body fat compared to exercise alone, according to another study published in the Journal of Obesity. Red light treatment has been shown to aid in weight loss in a number of trials, including those included below.
Tumblr media
Red light therapy is another alternative that is both harmless and non-invasive. The therapy can be used independently with the use of home gadgets that have been approved by the Food and Drug Administration. There are no intrusive procedures involved in the therapy, and it has no known major adverse effects. That's why it's such a good choice for people who want to slim down in a healthy method without risking their health.
The Alpilean ice hack may seem like a simple solution, but there is currently insufficient evidence to recommend it. However, there is ample evidence that red light therapy can help people shed unwanted pounds in a healthy way. It helps people lose weight by boosting their metabolism and energy levels, two functions that the body already does on its own.
Tumblr media
Red light treatment has been demonstrated to offer a variety of health advantages, including aiding in weight loss. It has been shown to improve skin health, decrease pain, and inflammation, and boost mental performance. That's why it's a fantastic choice for people who want to boost their health and happiness in general.
The great thing about red light therapy is that it can be done in the comfort of your own home with the help of a red light therapy belt. These belts can be worn at the waist, the thighs, or anywhere else on the body to help with weight reduction. There are high-quality medical LEDs within, and research has proven that one particular wavelength of light is optimal for weight reduction and other health advantages.
If you're trying to slim down rapidly, the Alpilean ice hack could seem like a good idea at first. However, you should assess the hazards and lack of scientific data before trying it. However, red light therapy has been shown through extensive research to be a safe and effective means of shedding extra pounds. The use of a red light therapy belt makes it possible for the treatment to be administered in the comfort of one's own home, making it an attractive alternative for those seeking to enhance their general health and well-being.
