the best hp fics with tons of world building and complex storylines and plot are always tomarry. Almost all the fics are over 100k words long but when i want to read more about the master of death thing, or time travel aus, or just dark/bamf harry who actually uses his power, I always end up in the tomarry side of Ao3.

For a small fandom, they are very talented.

The language you use is so beautiful and well-constructed, I can picture everything so clearly it's like I'm there. Wei Wuxian's perspective has such shades of depth, where sometimes you show us what he's thinking down to his core, not hiding from himself, then othertimes you show him shying away from his own thoughts - an unreliable narrator at times just like in the novel! (3/?) nuanced portrayal of surrounding characters too, especially the ones who in canon are morally grey but I find are often written in fic as black or white like Jiang Cheng, Jiang Fengmian, Yi Ziyuan. I loved the scene where Wei Wuxian met Wen Qing for the first time and found out she and Wen Ning were omegas too - a light in the darkness when he was at his lowest. I love Wen Qing and Wen Ning so much!! I also thought you wrote (around) Wen Chao's sexual assault of Wei Wuxian very tastefully,

(4/?) putting the effort in to communicating the consequences/fallout etc without having to have the actual scene itself in there. So many stories can't be bothered making the effort to do this - the only other one I can think of recently is Mad Max: Fury Road with the "wives". I also think you write about Wei Wuxian's flashes back to this very well and subtly too.
