Aries ♈️

They’re angry

Yeah Aries is ruled by Mars, and Mars helps us feel the anger that allows us to establish our boundaries. So not gonna say there’s nothing to this one. But to me, Aries are passionate in most of my experiences with them. People who are fake might piss them off, but otherwise the energy can actually be really chill a lot of the time when it’s healthy, because it’s authentic. Particularly angry Aries probably feel very conflicted in themselves.

Taurus ♉️

They’re boring

I guess if your idea of boring is someone that tends to wanna be physically more stationary, then yes this can hold true for someone really feeling their Taurus placements. But to me, I have never met a person with prominent Taurus influence that is boring. They notice so much about their physical surroundings and tend to have lots of weird little quirks developed in the name of protecting their resources, providing for themselves, or beauty. Very interesting people to my Scorpio Moon and Pluto. 🧐

Gemini ♊️

They’re two-faced

I think in a lot of cases where Gemini might appear to be giving conflicting information to different people or saying different things at one time vs another, it’s not an intentional effort to manipulate or be someone they’re not. They just process so much information and mentally they move so rapidly from one area of focus to another, that they might not even be giving themselves the proper time and in depth exploration to truly understand how they view something. Machiavellian Geminis do exist, but it’s more common that if Gemini seems to be showing different sides, that the duality is just how they authentically process life within.

Cancer ♋️

They’re sweet! (I think this warrants an ! because I have special insider status 🌞)

The Moon ruled crabs are protective 🦀 I know it’s not just me. You’d think this would be one of the first things discussed with Cancer, due to the images of a crab with its shell, plus the way the Moon rules over the night when it feels less safe out. Often times Cancer energy does not read as very inviting to just anyone! If the energy is unhealthy it can even be one of the most toxic in the bunch from how I see it. But don’t generally expect it either way to just be really warm and sweet to anyone. They show their nurturing side to their close kin.

Leo ♌️

They’re attention seekers

This one comes from a pretty personal place with me too, as Leo Venus and Mars. Soo many stereotypes especially about Leo Venus being an attention seeker in love. But my Leo Venus journey has actually looked way more like focusing on learning how to find self love and the ability to validate myself. Leo is a fire 🔥 sign and the objective for fire is exercising independent individuality. Yes, sometimes Leo energy is what you would clearly call the notion of true attention seeking (where it’s specifically the reactions of others that they crave). Sometimes they’re just boldly exercising their self expression though.

Virgo ♍️

They’re super organized

Some are, in ways that can be observed in their physical environments. But if you’ve ever wondered why some actually seem the exact opposite of organized in their physical environments, I believe it’s because Virgo, ruled by Mercury, is a very mental energy. They’re up in their heads trying to find order so much that it may never translate to their physical surroundings, as they may be depleting their own energy and will to act with their inner critic. Not to mention Virgo is a mutable sign, and some form of chaos tends to exist with all of them. 😆 I think my 6th house gives me some understanding of Virgos I wouldn’t have otherwise, and I feel what a mental experience it can be!

Libra ♎️

They’re balanced/fair

Lol I’m sorry I’m nitpicking something positive with this one, I’ll blame it on the South Node in Libra as this current transit has people needing to give consideration to the less evolved sides of Libra! Yes, healthy Libra energy tries to be as balanced and reciprocal as possible. That is the objective of Libra. But when at any point Libra energy is unhealthy, its keen sense of the scales can be used to intentionally tip things in their favor. Another unhealthy expression of Libra energy that we hear more is giving too much to others, but I want to bring attention to a less talked about unhealthy expression of using charm to gain more from someone than they are willing to give back to that person. Libra is ruled by Venus after all, and Venus doesn’t tend to be hesitant to accept special treatment. Finding balance is something Libra is working out over time, and it can be a challenge to find it in either direction! Sometimes we need to speak about the less healthy sides of all the signs!

Scorpio ♏️

They’re private!

Omg I just never understood this one from a personal perspective, as a Scorpio Moon. It seems maybe the people who see it this way are people who themselves aren’t very Scorpionic. Scorpio energy with its intensity might not feel safe opening up to them. But with me, while obviously not all experiences with Scorpios have been the same, there has never been a sign that has voluntarily opened up and shared about the depths of their life more rapidly, more times than I’ve experienced it with Scorpio. Depending where/how placed of course, some also make their taboos known to the general public. Pluto is both what is hidden and what is revealed, and the compulsion of Scorpio can sometimes be to reveal things, if they personally can see them. Not to mention Scorpio is co-ruled by Mars, and that’s an energy that is very up front.

Sagittarius ♐️

They can’t commit

Identifying how they personally view and understand things is very important to Sagittarius, so if they find something or someone they believe in, they could remain loyal with their views and dedication to almost a fault. I guess this stereotype comes from the way that fire is independent, and mutable signs can have fluctuating focuses. But valuing independence just means a Sag could be very happy to commit to a partner who also values it. And as Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, the fluctuation of Sagittarius as a mutable sign feels a little different to me, because Jupiter also tends to have a keen interest in establishing its worldviews.

Capricorn ♑️

They’re mean

The energy of Capricorn can be serious (although that’s also what makes some of them the most hilarious people; having developed humor as a coping mechanism to offset their seriousness) and can seem a little harsh to those expecting bubbly treatment. For this reason it tends to just feel more grounded and real to me though. Any sense of coldness that you could get from a Capricorn who has a healthy relationship with their energies does not read to me as mean! It reads as solemn and focused on realness.

Aquarius ♒️

They’re unemotional

Air as a function prioritizes intellectual and logical processing over emotional and intuitive processing, and fixed air can seem especially rigid about this. But does that mean this energy doesn’t experience all the emotions just like the rest of us? Of course not. And sometimes Aquarius can even have deep and honest philosophical conversations about their emotions. Aquarius wants to pick things apart logically and it prioritizes that form of processing to reach an understanding, but it still experiences the range of emotions that others do. And making personal emotions yet another topic they philosophize on can be a healthy thing for this energy, but an even more healthy thing to strive for is allowing the space to just sit with emotions.

Pisces ♓️

They’re chameleons

I personally haven’t observed this one much. Pisces can seem non-confrontational and agreeable, but I usually read that they keep the core essence of their authenticity across dealings with different people. It’s just that their authenticity might actually be expressed in the way that they can appreciate so many different ways to be and live. That Pisces who seems like they’re just acting interested in what you’re interested in to please you might actually be really interested in what makes you tick. Some may act chameleon-like for personal gain or only to avoid conflict, but an evolved Pisces understands that they’re one with everything so truly is interested in the views, loves, and ways of others.

Sebastian and Chris Synastry

My fave, Sebastian Stan. Astrodienst said that they got the birth time because he did a Romanian radio show and the subtitles said that he thinks he was born at 5 p.m. and they gave this a Rodden rating of A, which seems overconfident to me. I think you'd want to make sure that's what he said and why he thinks it’s 5 but whatever. I guess it's better than nothing at all.

Sebastian has a Sag rising conjunct Neptune and the Galactic Center with a 1 degree orb. That's impressive. Neptune conjunct the AC means he can be anything and can be seen as anything. He likely has very few restrictions socially, someone who is open for anything. Neptune is imagination and boundlessness. Juno is there too which is why he comes off as husband material no matter what he’s doing. This is a great actor placement both because of his versatility but also his comfort being anything. The Galactic center makes him magnetic. People will gravitate to him, he will come off as having a strong presence in person.

He has a Libra midheaven so he comes off as balanced, eloquent, fair, it’s conjunct Pluto so he will seem in control. Pluto is the planet of transformation. Seb has that air of someone who had a dark and rough past that he overcame, that’s from Pluto. Saturn is also conjunct his MC which gives him his sedate and measured attributes. That’s a very interesting mix.

Seb’s got a 5 degree Gemini Moon in the fifth house with Chiron at 27 degrees Taurus in the fifth along with it. That's a wide, out of sign conjunction. A lot of people in Chris's life have Moon and Chiron conjunctions. It also comes up a lot in the charts that I've been looking at. The progressed chart. The transits for the period I was looking at.

Seb’s North Node is seventh house Cancer. Venus is also in Cancer but not conjunct. He's meant to be nurturing in partnerships, and not so much of a workaholic. Which he identifies as. His sexuality is tied into his workaholicness too, in his mind. It's funny because the first house is Sagittarius but it's got that Neptune there so it's both expansive and unbordered. He likely thinks of himself as too much for others. He has a T-square with the Moon, Uranus at 0 degrees Sag and the apex is an 8 degree Mercury in the eighth house Virgo. His communication is a problem for him. It lets out at Pisces in the second house. This is why he's so good at acting. It's because he's got that Moon-Chiron conjunct in the fifth house and it's an out of sign Taurus Gemini conjunction. He's really in touch with his emotions and he can use them to express himself, it’s where his creativity comes from. His emotions are creative. However, Uranus in the eleventh Sagittarius. The opposition of his Moon and Uranus is the conflict in him between his social rebellious tendencies and his need for connection and creativity through other people. A Gemini Moon will have an extroverted quality. He will want to be around other people, to create and when he is creative, but that Uranus in the 11th will want to shake things up. He will be able to communicate this very well with a Mercury in Virgo, it will sound really fair, but in the 8th house it will cause changes, possibly affect other people’s money. He’s vey charming about it, with that Leo Sun there. They won’t blame him, they’ll just be aggravated by the things he says. The Sun connects positively to Pluto and Uranus. He is always in control but doesn’t seem so. People think the best of him, they project their idea of him. He has the ability to be very successful at manipulating people to what he wants and having them not even realize that’s what he’s doing. All the while thinking he’s so charming.

What's the house of his own doing? Jupiter in the tenth, his career. It's oddly at 0 degrees. Jupiter and Mars are conjunct in the tenth Scorpio. Now what does this mean? He has been very lucky with his ambitions but it will be his downfall. What he wants, he goes after, he gets it, then it’s a problem. They are both inconjunct his moon and square Venus. Be careful what you wish for. His fame has made it hard for him to be as creative as he would like to be because fame is a gilded cage. that also makes sense because of the Mars-Jupiter in Scorpio conjunction. It means that he is very fortunate in his ambitions. Mercury Virgo is just the very structured way he communicates, the very kind way he communicates, very giving. It's a very Virgo thing to be of service and he does have that north node in cancer. So he does strive to be sweet in partnerships. And since Venus is also on cancer he finds beauty in partnerships. He's a very loving person.

I see his fame, his creativity in the fifth house with the Moon-Chiron and then the Uranus inthe 11th sag with the apex of Mercury in the eighth Virgo. The more creative and good at what he does he is, the more fame he gets, which limits his ability to communicate the way he'd like to because you have to be very careful. The T-square lets out in the second house Pisces, his values, which is ruled by his ascendant-Neptune conjunction. He comes back to his weirdness, he comes back to his own strange values. He is different and he knows it and he embraces that. That big pink outfit he wore. Fame in the ninth in Libra with this midheaven. Saturn, Athena, Pluto, probably the closest to the midheaven with Athena. His image gets him a lot of power and control. It's also very karmic because of Saturn. The part of fortune there will bring him more luck. He’s a very lucky person. Sagittarius is lucky and it rules his chart. He’s extra lucky.

Synastry

Chris’s vesta is right on Seb’s Mercury. Chris admires the way Seb talks and Seb feels confident sharing with Chris, and around Chris. Chris's fame placements are right next to Seb’s fame asteroid in the ninth house. They have fame together. We know that. Chris's Pluto-Juno are right on Seb’s MC. It's like they fit together. Seb soothes Chris’s need for transformation through partnerships. This makes sense why it’s so easy for people to imagine them as a couple. They fit together well as one. This placement sextiles Seb’s Sun and AC. He is calmer and more himself with Chris and his public image is improved. Chris gains anchoring and softening. Seb’s Jupiter-Mars; Mars is a 5 degree Scorpio. Jupiter's 3 degrees Scorpio. Chris's moon is 12 degrees Scorpio. That's still close enough to be a conjunction. Seb doesn't have any placements except for Ceres and Chris's 12th which is conjunct with Lilith. They have a certain similarity to them. Seb's mothering to him. Chris's vertex and Venus are sitting right on Seb’s north node. Seb loves him. Seb’s moon has Chris's Mars on it. Seb’s moon is 5 degrees Gemini. Chris's Mars is 6 degrees Gemini. This is really cute. Seb’s Moon is in Chri’s 7th house on his Mars. Chris loves him and finds him soothing. Chris inspires Seb. This placement gives me giggles. I can see them giggling a lot together.

Seb’s moon Trines Chris’s Jupiter-Saturn placement. Chris's fame placements which trine their Uranus’s which are effectively conjunct in Seb's 11th house. This is really cute. Seb’s softness eases Chri’s reputation and makes his work easier. It also positively encourages both of their rebellious streaks. They get into trouble together. The only problem is Chris's Sun opposing Seb's AC. That makes sense. Chris has trouble extricating himself from Seb and his image with Seb. They both have their moon conjunct the other’s Mars. I think they really like each other. They complement each other and fill in the areas where the other one's lacking. They soothe and inspire eachother. They both have Venus conjunct the other’s North node. They are meant to be more like the other. They strive to be more in line with the aesthetic of eachother and to appreciate the world the way the other does. This is also just reflective of the fact that they got big with Marvel together in a very close way because of their relationship between their characters and all the press that they had to do together. Their fandoms are tightly linked. In some cases people are a fandom of the two of them. The Stucky fandom. It's a big thing. This is just really cute. I'm kind of surprised but it's sweet.

Energy Update: Mercury Retrograde in 08° Libra - 24° Virgo, First Thoughts

We are quickly approaching our third (complete) Mercury retrograde cycle of the year. If you've been following my astrology writing for a while, you should recognize by now that I'm not into "blaming" your life on the stars or anything - more I think that being aware of the energies going on in the sky makes it easier to accept and make decisions about your life.

The important dates and degrees:

Mercury enters its shadow at 24° Virgo on 8/20

Mercury retrogrades at 08° Libra on 9/9

Mercury stations direct at 24° Virgo on 10/2

Mercury exits its post-retrograde shadow at 08° Libra on 10/16

Mercury has been retrograding from air signs back into earth signs all year now. We may see some repeated themes arise around grounding our thoughts that may reflect back to our first retrograde back in January or our second retrograde from May.

The Usual: Mercury retrograde ALWAYS strongly affects anybody who has a Light (Sun, Moon, or Ascendant) in Gemini or Virgo.  This is because the ruling planet of Gemini and Virgo is Mercury. Additionally, people who were born with Mercury retrograded in their natal charts are often affected strongly by these retrogrades (though often in a better more whole fashion than others).

The Specifics: This retrograde is going to most strongly impact anybody with a personal planet (Ascendant, Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, or Mars) from 24°-29° Virgo and 00°-08° Libra. It will additionally affect anybody with a personal planet at 24°-29° Taurus and Capricorn or 00°-08° Gemini and Aquarius by trine, and anybody with 24°-29° Gemini, Sagittarius, and Pisces of 00°-08° Aries, Cancer, and Capricorn by square or opposition.

As a reminder: Mercury retrogrades always follow the same cycle.  First, Mercury enters its Pre-Shadow - this is the farthest point that it will retrograde backward.  Then, it will retrograde going backward through the chart to that point. Finally, it begins to move forward but the retrograde is not considered "complete" until it exits its Post-Shadow and has past the degree at which it went retrograde.  We will experience every point between 24° Virgo and 08° Libra three times.

The standard warnings apply: Mercury retrogrades are notorious for having an effect on communication, technology, and travel. Note that effect, in and of itself, does not have a positive or negative connotation associated with it. Some things will happen slowly but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Life is always what you make of it.

That said: Save often and triple-check your work. Proofread any important communications before you hit "Send". Expect a communication snafu or two and roll with it when it happens. Expect delays. This is a great time of the year to travel or get work done but you need to be willing to think both inside and outside the box. This is a great time for pathfinding or road opening. This is a great time to edit or revise your work. This is a great time to move inward and touch base with yourself.

Tuesday, September 14 - Mercury’s greatest eastern elongation, 18:23 Libra

Monday, September 20 - Mercury enters “Storm,” moving less than 40 minutes/day

Monday, September 27 - Mercury stations retrograde, 25:28 Libra

Saturday, October 9 - Mercury’s Inferior Conjunction with the Sun, 16:35 Libra

Monday, October 18 - Mercury stations direct, 10:08 Libra

Saturday, October 23 - Mercury exits “Storm,” moving more than 40 minutes/day

Monday, October 25 - Mercury’s greatest western elongation, 13:53 Libra

Tuesday, November 2 - Mercury exits post-retrograde shadow, 25:28 Libra

Mercury’s function in our charts is to serve as our inner computer program, which we can boil down to:

Input -> Process -> Output

That means we can equate Mercury’s retrograde periods either to “debugging,” or to upgrading the software. Something about the ways we learn, think, and communicate needs work. If you think about Merc Rx this way, it’s much easier to deal with!

This particular Mercury retrograde is rather fraught. It is tangling itself with the ongoing (and mercifully soon to be completed) Pluto-Eris square, which I have nicknamed the “evolve or die square.” Mercury’s station retrograde in particular aggravates that square. But, and it’s a big but, Mercury’s Inferior Conjunction with the Sun (essentially a “reset” button) will also be exactly conjunct Mars. And, that day is also the last time the Pluto-Eris square is exact.

Good gracious.

I listed some problems we run into with Mercury/Libra when I wrote about Mercury’s ingress, last week. Basically, we have problems with:

Refusal to acknowledge unpleasant realities

Intellectual laziness/superficiality

Sugar-coating everything we say

Manipulating others

“Peace at any price” (see: Neville Chamberlain)

Being overly argumentative

Cold and unemotional (remember, Libra’s symbol is a machine)

Any or all of the above mental attitudes are going to get us into trouble over the next couple of months. But that’s what Mercury retrograde is for! In the pre-retrograde shadow, we’re becoming aware of these problems - the better to be able to face them, solve them, and move on.

Mercury will be “stuck” between 10:08 Libra and 25:28 Libra. That’s about 4.16% of the entire 360-degree Zodiac. Some of us will have this little swath contained in only one house. Others of us (raises hand) will have these 15 degrees straddling two houses. Since I’m having it mostly in my natal 11th House, that’s where I’m going to focus my efforts. If it were mostly in my natal 12th House, then that’s where I would try to work. It’s all up to you and how you tend to roll!

All of the following aspects are the first of three, and they’re all connected strongly with the entire Merc Rx process. Note that when you see “11:38” you should understand it to mean “11 degrees 38 minutes.” (Me being a lazy typist.) Some of these aspects may "ding" something in your birth chart, which ties it in with a particular lesson you're meant to learn.

Tuesday, September 7 - Mercury/Libra sextile Juno/Sagittarius, 11:38; Wednesday, September 8 - Mercury/Libra opposite Chiron Rx/Aries, 11:45

We’re becoming aware of some problem, and accepting/offering help to overcome it. The help may or may not be accepted, though; the “offeree” could be a bit cocky about their ability to get through it alone. (And that goes for you if you’re the “offeree,” too.) Some manipulation could be taking place, too, and it will come back to bite us in the butt.

Friday, September 10 - Mercury/Libra inconjunct Uranus Rx/Taurus, 14:36

Uranus is always sudden and unexpected, so expect something sudden and unexpected to disrupt our plans. This may be especially true for those of us who wear rose-colored glasses and see only sweetness and light.

Monday, September 13 - Mercury/Libra inconjunct Pallas Athene Rx/Pisces, 17:50

And here we have the possibility of being out-strategized, out-thought. The other person possibly could be more comfortable using their right brain, than Mercury tends to be, and that’s what makes the difference. Another possibility is that we refuse to use our right brains, and it causes us harm.

Thursday, September 16 - Mercury/Libra (20:11) sesquare North Node/Gemini, semi-square South Node/Sagittarius (5:11)

By this point we may feel like we’ve completely lost the plot. We were so sure of ourselves only a couple of weeks ago! Our own attitudes are what is holding us back, which we may or may not be able to acknowledge.

Saturday, September 18 - Mercury/Libra inconjunct Neptune Rx/Pisces (21:40)

Another push from the right brain? This is going to be uncomfortable for those of us who are more the “Libra thinking machine” types. Clarity may be in short supply, and we have to feel our way (instead of thinking our way) through the fog.

Monday, September 20 - Mercury/Libra trine Jupiter Rx/Aquarius, 23:32

Trines don’t necessarily mean “good” - there is that old saying, “too much of a good thing,” of course. We could see some intellectual arrogance here, or we could come to the realization that our minds aren’t as powerful as we had believed. There may be some lucky breaks here, which will enable us to learn and grow.

Wednesday, September 22 - Mercury/Libra square Pluto Rx/Capricorn, 24:21; Wednesday, September 22 - Mercury/Libra opposite Eris Rx/Aries, 24:28

First of three for both, alas. What’s more annoying is that these aspects will remain very close from September 20 to October 1. Much of how I think this may play out, is shown in US politics - “liberals” and people on the left, no matter how well-intentioned they are (see: Neville Chamberlain), need to understand that right-wing people: (1) are determined to burn the world down, if they have to share it, and (2) actually enjoy the pain they cause. (Those of us with strong Aries, Scorpio, and/or Capricorn emphasis in our charts may not have this problem.) They. Are. Fascist. Sociopaths. True, it’s the fault of patriarchy and capitalism - but our own wishy-washy attitudes are also to blame for letting life get this far out of hand.

Synastry and how it feels being planet, angle, house person Part1

Synastry is fusion of energy of two people. The most searched is synastry of couples or sexual chemistry synastry, although it may be applicable to any relationship - business, family or friendship. Here, we’re going to discuss about love affinity synastry based on experience, personal and research over of 150 people (so far).

The most common question in synastry is “HOW IT FEELS... to be planet/angle/house person” and there is a big reason WHY is asked. Since energy is dynamic force and has changeable modality, it absorbs and creates... it is not often too easy to catch it’s true nature described in one synastry. 

We can blame lack of knowledge (astrological) and taking the aspect interpretation for granted. In life all it matters is FLOW. This is a natural order. We can try to understand it not only by mind, but with heart - soul/inner being/gut..whatever. 

That’s why many  astrolovers  don’t understand why, for example,  VENUS 0 MARS (conjunction) doesn’t work as described in many astrological sources, why you don’t feel that intense consuming passion, wild urge that wet your panties, or at least it’s not mutual.

Boring part for lazy astrolovers but important 

1. - To know the nature or entity of synastry it is important to know yourself. Be assured that EVERY SINGLE aspect in your natal chart - like it or not - you will FEEL in some point of life.  So, our Natal chart is not just screenshot of transit, of energy of the moment or just your life events. It is hermetic principle in it’s whole existence. AS ABOVE - SO BELOW. AS WITHIN SO WITHOUT. So, having in mind that we all contain microcosmos inside of us, the outside world is our reflection. 

2. - know yourself and do it daily. With consciousness, love and acceptance. We change and evolve. 

3. Having in natal chart any notorious aspect as Venus square Saturn, Mars opposition Saturn, Moon square Mercury it is not a same thing if you operate on mundane, primitive level or you have some degree of self consciousness and FEEL the world within and out yourself.

This energy still exists but in different manner.  And I’ll write about that in another topic.

Back to the synastry and how someone is feeling having some placement triggered by other’s energy:

1.Basic rule - PLANET has it’s own vibe and being in specific house in Natal chart - it has extra flavor. When that planet jumps into someone’s house it brings that energy mixed with house person energy.

2. CHART ruler extremely important. It must have connection with your essential planets and points in your own chart. 

3. House angles and their rulers too.

4. TRANSITS are triggers. Doesn’t matter if you have perfect synastry if timing is not right.

EXAMPLE 1:

Someone’s Mars in Gemini in 5th house - player, joyful, easy to arouse person becomes guest in your 6th house (health, duty, job, bypass between fun 5th and marriage/contract/open enemies 7th house), you have a situation:

-house person feels sex vibe from that person, it’s natural expression and wants that energy, but also wants to direct that energy into something with purpose- 6th house ruled by Virgo. Everything must have purpose. IT’s not a consciousness THING, it is our gravity and this is what pulls planet energy out.

- Mars person gets transformed into 6th house. It is still playful, but in manner to be someone that helps you to get in shape, takes genuine care of your health, mental and psychical. This Mars wants you to become better, to improve you. Still, there is some kind of attraction, because he is naturaly in tune with erotic, but he doesn’t accept you in raw manner as he would in 1st or 8th house - here - HE SHAPES YOU. It can be so exciting.

What would be product of that energy exchange depends of other inter aspects and condition of house ruler, in this case Mercury.

EXAMPLE 2:

If you want sexy Mars Venus conjunction it is not enough to just have it in intense Scorpio or sensual Taurus, or in 8th house. I have couple of examples where I couldn’t feel that connection, except in one case:

- His natal Mars in Virgo is in 12th house with Jupiter and NN and all that conjuncts my Venus in my 8th house. So my Venus (being in his deep 12th house) was instantly from the 1st look upon his face mesmerized.  His Venus in conjunct with my ASC (so we both feel nice in each others presence)

Here 8th Venus in conjunction with Mars becomes catcher, or pursuer...but in Virgo terms.. subtle :D Mars is passive, observant. Even the energy is strong and evident - it takes a stroke from Above to move two Earths!

Other guy had Mars in my 8th house which is his chart ruler and he is deeply moved by Venus.  Since my Venus is guest on his 6th house cusp, it’s friendly but here Virgo being amplified - not so turned on. 

If Venus is afflicted it may bring obsession, moodiness, dependency, lack of selfesteem or Venusian characteristics disorted. 

EXAMPLE 3:

. Having someone’s luminary (Sun, Moon) in your 4th house and (or) your 12th house - you will always have some deep connection with that person and forgive him/her more than you would for someone else. 

This angle house is sensitive place, it is your warm place, naturally ruled by Cancer in modern astrology. This is your “feels like home” place - physically or emotionally. Sun or Moon person feels your warmth and acceptance, but surely has it’s way to rub your buttons on the wrong way or even take advantage of your flexibility to forgive them. Even if you break up relationship, even when you’re angry, still this person would have some special place in your heart. Even (s)he hurt you and broke in 1000 pieces, still you would somehow have a nice words for him. This is unconditional love, but you can love and be distant - for your sake :)

Something on annual profections and how they’re bomb af

I'm in the middle of writing a post on Neptune but I was kind of miserable and whenever I feel that way, I like to stare at my solar return charts and transits, trying so see something that would give me some hope for the future. The thing is, there’s always nothing interesting happening in them so I was peeking at astro-seek (my favourite website for charts), trying to look for something different and I found a thing called annual profections. It's an ancient technique that I don't think is that popular right now, but holy shiz, it seems to be so accurate that I need to share my observations with you.

So every year your ascendant and planets shift one sign forward, activating each house respectively. The cycle repeats itself every 12 years (because there's 12 houses, duh) so you can analyze recurring themes from the past and see what's coming for the future cycles.

When you're 0-1 year old, your first house is activated, 1-2 - second house, 2-3 - third house and so on... This method requires equal/whole house system. Your planets shift with the whole chart. Let's say you're an Aries Sun in the 5th - when your 2nd house is being activated, it shifts to Taurus Sun in the 5th. Your ascendant changes from Sagittarius to Capricorn.

Now, when it comes to things you pay attention to when using profections, you can go every direction with this. You look at the ruler of your profected rising sign (use classic rulership!). It's going to be important that year. So if it's Capricorn, look at transits to a) your natal Saturn b) profected Saturn c) Saturn transits in general. If, for example, you have planets in the 2nd house natally and you’re going through your 2nd house year, these planets are also important.

Activation of each house brings focus on its topics during that year. For example, right now at the age of 29, my 6th house is the active one. I had many doctors visits this year to finally do something about my chronic health issues and also started working out (that's also a bit thanks to that Saturn that was in my Aqua 1st house for a few months) and I stick to a new workout routine now. These are very much 6th house issues. With my time lord being Moon (which is being squared by that transiting Cap stellium for months now) it’s been a hectic year and I’m kind of a mess lol.

From my quick observation, seems like the active house doesn’t have to be fully switched on right after your birthday. 2019 was a very weird year for me - had my 5th house activated. It didn’t hit me right away. At the beginning of the year, a couple of months after my birthday, I decided to buy a ukulele (I play guitar for 12 years now but REALLY felt the need to play something new). Then life introduced me to someone who, firstly, made me go into music even deeper and, secondly, makes my hormones go batshit crazy. After years of being bitter about relationships, the thought of romance seemed EXTREMELY fun to me. Now let’s break it down, my 5th house is in Gemini (so the time lord for the year was Mercury) and I have Gemini Mars there. The 5th house was in full mode when: a) Sun was transiting my profected Mercury in Aries, b) transiting Mars entered Gemini, c) Jupiter transited my natal Sagittarius Mercury and d) Mercury (along with Venus) transited my profected Aries Sun/Venus (I knoooow, that’s A LOT!). All these transits happened pretty much at the same time so the influence was strengthened. It literally hit me out of the blue... it was the most bizzare feeling ever. 

On top of that, my niece started learning guitar a year ago so I kind of help her with that from time to time. And I started learning astrology - this isn’t a 5th house thing per se, but I do see it as a hobby soooo... it counts? Now let’s summarize 5th house matters: creativity and arts? Check. Hobbies? Check. Romantic and sexual feelings? Check. Children? Well kind of yeah, check. 

Of course there were other factors, like Jupiter transiting my sign and making a trine to my natal Jupiter (it has a great ability to push me into expanding my horizons, especially in all things Venusian) and having my Saturn return (and I actually blamed all of this on Saturn, but guess it wasn’t just that). So this also shows that we need to pay attention to patterns - this is kind of what I was talking about in my synastry post, which was: a single aspect doesn’t have much power. A single transit won’t do much on itself unless you’re very sensitive to that particual planet it transits or you have a stellium or whatever... but that’s another topic. 

Ok but let’s have another general example. When we turn 6 and 18, our 7th house becomes active: it’s known as the relationship house - people usually think of romantic, commited relationships but it’s more than that. It’s about friendships and meeting new people and really experiencing all types of relations with others. What happens when you’re 6-7? You go to school: you’re put in the new environment of lots of kids you don’t know; you have your first friendships and start learning to interact with others; discovering and choosing what kinds of people you like and dislike. That’s our first 7th house year. Next is when we’re 18: we finish schools, some of us go to college or work so we’re put in a completely new environment once again. Some may start to work with others. A lot of people start commited relationships at that time (after trying it out earlier in high school during the 5th house period). And the cycle repeats itself.

We all have the same house lit up at the same age but our charts are different, that’s why our experiences are different. During some years our time lord for the year may be barely touched by anything, that’s probably why we won’t feel its influence that much; during other it may activate after a while or right at the beginning. But I did see some very clear patterns with that technique. I know some people love solar return charts and swear by them, for me personally, they’re mostly duds lol. The Planets

After the explanation of the 12 Houses, I have decided to do a little writing about the planets that appear in our natal chart. Here you can find out what these planets talk about and the influence they can have on our lives. In another post, if anyone is interested, I talked about retrograde planets: here. I hope it helps you!

When an individual is born, the zodiacal points in which the planets are located at that moment acquire an outstanding sensitivity and, for the rest of their life, that sensitivity will give the individual a certain attitude that will be exalted when those zodiacal points are touched by a transit.

Seven planets have space in our solar system: Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, Earth, Mars, Venus and Mercury. For esoteric astrologers, Neptune and Pluto are part of a border solar system. However, both planets exert an influence on us.

Everything that exists in our universe has been built with the forces contributed by the twelve signs of the Zodiac. The planets, therefore, will follow this rule, although each planet will have a deeper affinity with a certain sign. This is why a planet is said to govern a sign, since that planet is the one that most actively manages the characteristics of that sign:

Saturn is ruler of Aquarius and Capricorn.

Jupiter is ruler of Sagittarius and Pisces.

Mars is ruler of Aries and Scorpio.

Venus is ruler of Free and Taurus. Mercury is ruler of Virgo and Gemini.

The Sun is ruler of Leo.

The Moon is ruler of Cancer.

Modern astrologers, however, associate some zodiac signs with other planets:

Neptune is ruler of Pisces.

Uranus is ruler of Aquarius.

Pluto is ruler of Scorpio.

The position of the planets will indicate the main works that are being carried out in the life of the individual. In the sectors (or houses) where the planets meet, the individual will understand the meaning of everything he or she is doing with these jobs. Planets passing through empty houses will indicate the complementary works that will help the individual to develop the main works.

The Sun

The Sun represents the internalized will, the powers of the Ego. Our Sun stores the experiences of our ancestral past and in it end the messages of the other planets that we must execute in this life. The Sun is really who moves our "human machine", the impulses of other planets aren’t as decisive as our Sun (planets can be defined as the "ministers" of the Sun). The aspects that the planets share with each other will only manifest if the Sun (the consciousness of the individual) is predisposed to the abilities that this aspect grants. For example, a trigon of Mercury with Neptune, which gives high inspiration, but it will only have effects if the individual already has a talent as a writer or artist (either a natural gift or a worked gift).

The Sun is the consciousness achieved by the Ego (primeval solar personality) during their human experiences and, in the end, those experiences will end up modifying our personality: the individual will end his life being a different being than he or she was when he or she incarnated.

In a horoscope, the position of our Sun indicates the cycle in which the individual is working in this life: fire, water, air or earth. The aspects that the planets form with the Sun are very important, since these will indicate if there is a connection with the individual's will and the abilities that they can obtain from other planets.

The Sun manages the energy coming from Leo positively. Its other sign of regency should be Cancer, but the Sun yields such regency to the Moon, its negative polarity, so in the sexual field: the Sun represents the masculine and the Moon the feminine. In some way, the Sun will manifest itself differently in men and women.

In man, the Sun represents his apparent personality, and his Moon represents his non-apparent personality, which will manifest through the women he chooses as life partners (loving partners). For the woman, therefore, it will be the opposite, and her Sun will manifest through her life partners.

The negative aspects with the Sun: they reduce the power of the will and impose an arbitrary action on the individual. However, it is better to have negative aspects than not to have them, since if the individual doesn’t have aspects with the Sun, their life will be insipid and poor in experiences and tehir will will not manifest itself.

Therefore, our Sun tells us about:

our basic identity,

our conscious purpose,

our psychological and spiritual center,

our individuality and sense of identity

and what we want in our life.

The Moon

For atrolologists, the Sun and the Moon represent two companions. In this case, the Moon symbolizes your instincts, habits, unconsciousness, and emotional reactions. If your Sun and Moon are in compatible signs, your will and your emotions are in tune. If your Sun and Moon are in incompatible signs, you will experience a storm of conflicting wants and needs.

The sign your Moon occupies describes your emotional reactions and represents women in general and your mother in particular.

In our Moon the images of what our life is will be reflected. Depending on the type of images that we have in our inner world, we will move towards that type of life. Therefore, most of the negative events that occur in our lives are created or prompted by ourselves and, in the end, we cannot blame anyone but ourselves. Understanding that we create our reality ourselves and, furthermore, we can distort it consciously or unconsciously, will help us understand how the Universe works.

The Moon doesn’t give us any particular property, but it is responsible for transmitting the pulsations from the planets.

The position of the Moon in a sign will tell us what the individual's mental images are like. If the Moon is poorly aspected, these images will be blurry, dim, too full of color or dark. The bad planetary aspects on the Moon tell us whether planetary impulses are clearly picked up by the individual. In some cases, the bad-looking Moon, for a woman, is the announcement of a difficult character. For a man, it announces the recruitment of a difficult woman, and for both, a troubled mother.

Therefore, our Moon tells us about:

our emotions and feelings,

our daily habits patterns,

what we need and what we cannot do without what we need,

the mother figure,

domestic life

and how we feel safe during childhood.

Mercury

Mercury allows us to discern what is lawful and what is not. This planet opens the doors of our minds to higher realities. Mercury is the initiator and its position in our natal chart indicates the individual's ability to understand the relationship of things, a characteristic of intelligence. What is above is related to what is below, so Mercury will help identify what below corresponds to what is above (science of analogies). A well-regarded position of Mercury in our natal chart will indicate that the individual possesses a wonderful capacity for analysis, criticism, synthesis and discernment in order to understand the truth hidden in everything around him. The intelligence of the Universe begins within us together with feminine energy, which is the first that is born within us in order to understand the world in which we are going to incarnate.

Mercury works with the forces of Gemini and Virgo. In Gemini, Mercury is positive (masculine) and helps us to externalize our ideas in the material world. On the contrary, through Virgo it is negative (femenine) and will announce the end of a cycle and the understanding of a lesson for the beginning of a new cycle.

Mercury's bad aspects will worsen the individual's intellectual functions. First, it will hinder the ability to distinguish what is appropriate and what is not: the person will not know how to see the opportunities that they can take advantage of or, simply, their intelligent function will be reduced. On the other hand, the individual will not know how to learn from the lived experiences and that will lead them to twice encounter the same obstacles, since the individual is not capable of learning the lesson and closing cycles. Nor will the person have the necessary faculties to be able to communicate with their superior being.

Therefore, our Mercury tells us about:

our ability to think, speak, learn and reason,

our intelligence

and how we communicate with others.

Venus

In Venus, love ascends to a more intimate human plane and the projection of this love is concentrated on a face, a person, a detail, a thing, etc. Love passes from the general (Uranus) to the particular and beauty on the higher plane becomes the same beauty on Earth. In this way, the law of "what is above is the same as what is below" is fulfilled.

Reconstruction is a basic feature of Venus. The position of this planet in our natal chart indicates what the individual must rebuild, harmonize, beautify during this incarnation; that which will express with harmony, with art; that which will make them stand out for their beauty and harmony (be it their physical beauty or one of their creations). That where all the looks around them will go. If Venus never goes unnoticed by its environment, it will not go unnoticed by the individual either: he or she will have a taste, an attraction, about what Venus represents in their birth chart.

Having Venus as the dominant planet makes us a born harmonizer: someone who knows how to bring peace and harmony in big or small things; the right person to solve crises. However, they can also be the perfect artist who projects their inner harmonies into their works.

Venus is ruler of Libra and Taurus. In Libra (masculine), Venus positivizes love and peace, and helps the individual to harmonize their relationships, their homes, their environment in general. In Taurus (femenine), Venus expresses herself negatively and, instead of harmonizing and delivering that harmony, the individual enjoys and enjoys beauty and harmony (beauty becomes an object of consumption): she uses beauty through fashion, for example. The individual must be careful to focus on that stage of enjoyment, since he could forget his spiritual evolution and stagnate in material enjoyment, in the mundane.

The bad aspects of Venus can reduce the manifestation of beauty in the life of the individual: the Universe deprives the person of beauty and its enjoyment (it is important to consider which house our Venus is in). Conversely, a bad appearance with Venus could exaggerate the individual's thirst for luxury, harmony or pleasures. When the performance (force) of Venus is amplified, it beautifully covers that which is perverse, illicit, and dark. At that moment, the individual sees the vices and any negative feelings as something beautiful, poetic, spiritual... Therefore, the individual beautifies everything regardless of his true nature.

Therefore, our Venus talks about:

our ability to attract people,

the things we like and value,

what we appreciate and our social needs,

how and what excites us,

how we excite others

and how we express our feelings and affection.

Mars

Mars supposes the return of the law when it has been broken, although Jupiter can overshadow its effects in our birth chart. Mars comes into action in our life when Jupiter has finished its actions. The individual needs to exercise power, since at some point in their life, he or she is prepared to become a creator, so at some point in his life, Jupiter will allow the individual to organize life around them according to their feelings, their thoughts, their way of being. When this occurs, Mars will be the executor of this order and will take care of restoring the law of Saturn (the laws of the cosmos, the Universe) previously broken. In the same way, Mars will destroy everything built thanks to the influence of Jupiter.

If in your birth chart Jupiter and Mars are facing each other (aspects), the individual will be in a constant struggle between tolerance and rigor, permissiveness and respect for the law, between being carried away by the vices of life and spiritual discipline. The planet that is best aspected will be the planet that wins this internal struggle. When these two plans form good aspects, Mars will submit to the effects of Jupiter.

Mars is ruler of Aries and Scorpio. In Aries, Mars is positive (masculine) in projecting its zodiacal essence to the individual's head so that they can obtain their divine design. Through Aries, Mars exercises "inseminating" functions from a spiritual perspective, since it places in our brain, our mind, the "seed" that will allow us to understand the cosmic law, the law of the Universe. Unlike the first, Mars is negative (femenine) in Scorpio and that "insemination" will not be in our brain, but through our sexual organs. In Scorpio, Mars creates the physical forms that support the spiritual bodies to manifest in the human world, so it also refers to all the creations the individual obtains thanks to their work. The latter is one of the reasons why Mars is considered the planet of work and, in addition, in a natal chart it will tell us what skills the individual has for a specific job.

Mars acts as a carrier of life. Through Aries it introduces in us the seed of divinity, while through Scorpio it can be considered the bearer of death, since it provides us with a physical body for a certain time. This body (or physical form) will hold our spiritual energy for a specific time, as these physical forms must evolve and renew.

If Mars is located above the horizon, the planet works with the forces of life. On the contrary, if it is below the horizon, we will be working on creation and material forces. The position of Mars (sign and house) will tell us the work that the individual has to do, what is corrupt in us that we must renew and in which way we must renew it.

Bad aspects of Mars can indicate impotence (infertility) problems or mental problems. They can also indicate problems obsessed with sex or an unusual spiritual person (negatively speaking). At work, the bad aspects with Mars can speak about vague and little participative people, although it can also represent people with excessive and violent dedication on some occasions.

Therefore, our Mars talks about:

our ability to act and affirm ourselves based on our personal desire,

how we pursue our goals,

how we defend our rights,

how we express our anger when necessary,

our physical passion and desire for sexual gratification.

Saturn

The idea of ​​sacrifice is basic on Saturn. No matter what sign this planet is in, there will be some kind of restriction or decrease that can be solved with the corresponding sacrifice. The position of our Saturn announces which part of our Ego must be darkened: a part of our inner strength will refuse to collaborate with the plan established for us in this incarnation and, in the end, we must darken, fall into the void, to manifest everything that we have come to manifest in this incarnation.

Saturn is related to two signs: Aquarius and Capricorn. In Aquarius, Saturn is positive (masculine) and provides active intelligence, structures the thought of the individual and helps the thoughts end up manifesting in the reality of the individual. Those who have the materials and the correct mindset will be able to manifest ideas from the higher world in the physical world. Here we will have the inventors, the discoverers or those who work in the future.

On the other hand, Saturn acts in the present-future in Capricorn, and therefore acts from its negative polarity (feminine). With the strength of Capricorn, Saturn institutes our destiny. Saturn will give the individual the scenario, the environment or the reality in which he must live. This scenario will be delivered depending on the type of needs formed during our past (that karma we must pay in this life) and the needs to fulfill our life mission in this incarnation. Once this scenario is established, our life will unfold within it, but we will be free (free will) to decide the details that will complete this scenario: people, experiences, etc. Saturn does not put the details of our life, but only the "walls" of it. Saturn is the one who will put the thieves or the protectors in our path at a certain moment, and it will depend on us if that situation (positive or negative) continues over time with positive or negative consequences for us.

The bad planetary aspects of Saturn herald a life that is rugged, difficult, or full of danger. Saturn's relationship with the other planets in our natal chart define our ability to manipulate our destiny and our ability to interpret the lessons or messages of our superiors, from the Universe.

Therefore, our Saturn talks about:

our ability to create,

our discipline,

how justice works on us

and karma.

Jupiter

We have said that Saturn offers us the stage where our life will unfold, because Jupiter will be the planet that will fill that stage. Saturn gives us the stage and the law (the way of living in that stage) where our life will unfold. Jupiter represents the application of this law and how we use it throughout our lives and the situations we face. If Saturn and Jupiter form favorable aspects, the individual will be objective and will not go out of lawfulness nor will they have problems with authorities (those of the human or cosmic world). If both planets are poorly aspected, the individual will constantly face authority. Depending on which planet has the most influence on the individual, he or she will have one role or another (rebellious follower or powerful authoritarian).

Jupiter's position in our birth chart (sign and house) indicates what the individual will have in abundance and where they will exercise their power. The sign can tell you what you will have plenty of and the house where you will exercise that power. Jupiter's position will speak about authority, prestige, facilities in matters related to the sign Jupiter is in and the house it occupies. Whatever the role of the individual in their life, there is an area in which they must exercise the power to obtain the fruits that this life (experience) can provide them to evolve.

Jupiter is ruler of Sagittarius and Pisces. In Sagittarius, Jupiter is positive (masculine) and divine action is abundant allowing the voice of our superior beings to reach all the recesses of our being. Through Sagittarius, Jupiter contributes moral strength, generosity, and manages to destroy grudges, offenses or any obstacle that may occur in the "world of feelings". In Pisces, Jupiter expresses itselfs in its negative polarity (feminine), managing to moderate and purify the externalization of these feelings. In this way, in Pisces the planet lowers the emotional explosion of the individual, whether positive or negative, that may lead to future karma.

Jupiter is the planet of power. This well-regarded planet is an indicator of success and obtaining social or political powers. The bad aspects of Jupiter reduce its power and the individual is deprived of power in the house where Jupiter is. On the contrary, they can turn that power into an insolent power, unjust and corrupted by excesses or vices.

Therefore, our Jupiter talks about:

our search for meaning, truth and ethical values,

how we express our high mentality

and how optimistic we are.

Uranus

Uranus is considered the most externalized planet in our solar system. Uranus vibrates one octave higher than the other planets, so Uranus force is a destructive force when vibrating at a higher intensity that cannot be integrated anywhere without destroying it. It is not, however, that Uranus manifests itself indiscriminately, but destroys what appears to us as an obstacle in our spiritual development.

Uranus will bring a disintegrating force and its position in the natal chart talks about what it will not be able to consolidate as it disintegrates as time passes. Uranus invites us to integrate into a higher world, obscuring what already appeared dark to you, so we can recognize the darkness and we can turn it into light. Its destructive force turns the individual into a form of liberation, although we love and remain attached to our shadows, which does not allow us to clearly understand the message of this planet. Uranus represents everything beyond the real, inventions, innovations (technical or scientific). It also brings us divine wisdom in our actions in human reality.

Modern astrologers relate Uranus to Aquarius, although other astrologers are contrary to this correlation and argue that Uranus has no rulership.

Mars and the Tower in Gemini

Because Mars, like Saturn, is a malefic (as opposed to the benefic planets of Jupiter and Venus), we might consider the onset of its influence in Gemini (beginning on March 3rd) through qualities of challenge or disruption, with factors of positive growth or change becoming more accessible or recognizable as the transit continues.

We might recognize Mars in the impulses we wish later we hadn’t acted on, despite feeling a surge of emotion at the time that told us what we were about to express was true or right. Mars’s Tarot equivalent, the Tower, speaks to radical, difficult, or painful change, change that can feel like a destructive force if we are unwilling to work with it. The image of the Tower doesn’t necessarily describe change itself, but our fearful attitude towards it, or the way we experience it as a kind of utter loss. We might feel tempted to place blame somewhere in the face of jolting or difficult experiences. Whether or not we saw it coming or even knowingly took steps to aggravate its progress, change in accordance with the Tower feels like a loss of control, a traumatic dislocation or dissociation of the self. This may describe many different forms of becoming un-stuck, or falling out of joint. Lynn Bell has described Mars as where we have impact; maybe it can also describe where we feel impact, and how we react to it.

If you’re looking at the card from the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the Tower looks pretty precarious to begin with--old, most likely already long in the process of deterioration, i.e. in need of some renovation. Tragic or scary as it may look, the destructive change underway in the image of the Tower can lead to positive change, or changes necessary to building the next phase of stability.

With Mars leaving Taurus and entering Gemini, we might bring a bit more of a spark or apply a radical angle to the things we do and the way we work in order to frame our contributions as offerings to others. With Mars in Gemini, it’s a great time to be a novice, to surprise yourself. In Gemini terms, the Tower might describe the productive instability incurred by new and even contradictory ideas. It might refer to necessary alterations to the ivory tower of elite intellectualism, inviting us to imagine how we might rebuild the tower, or if we’d rebuild academic and “high” cultural spaces as a kind of tower at all. Instead of rebuilding, we may benefit from observing the rubble for a while.

A tower looms over all, claiming an ability to see all, know all, consider all. How can we divert our active, propulsive, Martian energy to experience movement in multiple directions? How can multidirectionality (or intersectionality) serve as a baseline for cultivating focused and empathic understanding of multiple perspectives?

It might be helpful to think of Mars in Gemini setting up for the planet’s entrance into Cancer by late April. If Gemini operates in the technology of ideas, and Cancer builds from the material of emotion, what is it that feels important to launch into the air, even briefly, so that when it falls downward, or when you no longer see it anymore, you can trust that it has sunk itself into a structure of deep feeling?

The twins are non-hierarchical. They are not, for example, a parent and a child, a performer and an audience member, nor a teacher and a student; they are two entities that share a secret, or are embarking together on a journey into a mysterious place. They are not competing with one another; they prefer one another’s company above all else. They speak in a shared language that they didn’t mean to invent; coded descriptions simply emerge between them, and help them to identify what’s hidden and invisible in the surrounding world. In short, they share for the joy of sharing, because they know that collaboration is how knowledge takes shape.

For the following considerations of Mars in Gemini, we will look at the topics of the houses as impacted by this Mars transit, drawing also upon Mars's Tarot equivalent of the Tower. With Mars cutting its way through the twins, it is worth it to ask: what is separating or crumbling? What is coming together, or fusing, via the alchemical power of lighting and fire? Where Mars splits something open, when lightning strikes the Tower (so similar in appearance to the word “I”), what is it that comes out? Susan Harding describes “apertures in the ordinary” as disruptions that provide opportunities to speak. In other words, when something ruptures, it provides an opportunity to tell a generative story, which, as M+C, is at the heart of what we hope to offer.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 1ST HOUSE

You may be doubting yourself in terms of intellectual abilities. This has little to do with how you yourself experience your internal world, where thoughts are quick, agile, and interesting, leading you to investigate unfamiliar fields or topic areas. But you may feel a stagnancy when it comes to expression. Understand that that stagnancy or feeling of being unable to communicate your knowledge is not a deficiency but an unfair pressure you put on yourself to usefully demonstrate or disseminate your knowledge in legible or impressive ways.

Instead of attempting to share everything with the most people, individuate what you’ve learned; consider who in your social world would be most interested in what you have to say. If what you want is to connect, you can; you just might have to be more mindful and do so on a 1:1 basis, tailoring what you share to each individual based on who they are, not how interesting you personally find the information.

In this case, the jolt of Mars, the bolt of lightning, is a gift you give to others. In your own experience, when lightning strikes the tower, it probably thrills you. Consider the difference between concentrated electricity versus electricity in the atmosphere. What are the situations where you’re creating static versus the ones where you’re being clear? MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 2ND HOUSE

You may be experiencing an anxiety over what you can claim as your own. The force of Mars might make you feel separated from your usual topics of interest. You may be worried that your focus or interests are mimetic of others’, or of something that already exists; you may be feeling defeated by an inability to see your work or your insights as “original.” This may cause you to want to tear down or blow up this work you have been constructing. But what if instead you gave your work the permission and the time and space to develop its own mouth, its own projection of speech? Allow your work to breathe and fully realize the thing it wants to be--existing beyond, or outside of, the compulsion to compare. When we call something derivative, we are reaffirming capitalist mythologies of material fetishism, intellectual ownership, and a lack of alternatives except the one dominant mode experience.

Gemini in the 2nd house is about entering communities by sharing a response to what is already there, not by pressuring oneself to generate a new topic; by adding layers of connection rather than a shock of distinction or separation. Instead of possessing a field, or an atmosphere, or an audience, Gemini in 2nd, by practicing self-possession and being honest about how one perceives or experiences something, exudes their own alluring atmosphere, which comes from a direct translation of how they think about things. You may not experience your own aura as striking, but your honest transmission of your experience, more with the excitement of a phone conversation than the gravity of prophecy, imparts to others an originality of relation that arises from the sense that you learn about topics by becoming friends with them, by earning their trust. When ideas or things we learn about are our friends, they don’t just reveal information, but they can provide us with actual advice. We don’t need our ideas to be strikingly original; we need to build relationships with them, so that, as in any relationship, we can experience the gift of their difference and transformation over time.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 3RD HOUSE

Busy bee. A lot may have been added to your plate, or a change in schedule has left you in a pinch in terms of getting everything done. Don’t try to do it all, but don’t think of yourself as “dropping” something in order to make room. Figure out, instead, what you can put aside, or approach in a partial or modified way until you can resume the energy to address it again. Instead of seeing your fatigue as a failure to meet demands, try and incorporate this Mars transit as an indication that you are entering a new phase of juggling multiple expectations and routines. Mars is not pointing to a weakness or depletion, but of a need to make room in the existing order.

When we look at the Tower we might think of the Tower of Babel, a symbol of the human desire to encounter God. Seeking to maintain his omnipotence and singularity, God punished the Babylonians by destroying the tower and separating the people via language, preventing their coordination in the future. The story attributes a lack of universal and mutual understanding between people to punitive divine will.

What is it that we expect from the divine? We may call it many things--God, or luck or circumstance--but when we assign an entity the role of determining situations outside of our control, it can in some cases prevent us from locating aspects of those situations within ourselves. When we feel stalled or punished by some force (whether seen or unseen), it’s important to take the time to ask ourselves what we are working toward and why, and what, as a reflection of the answers, might need restructuring, or what might not need to be built at all.

If we feel the approach of a breaking point, we’d do much better to focus our energy on bending. Work with your parameters in a way that honors the element of air and the m.o. of the twins--change directions, and delegate. What trajectory are you on that no one is insisting you remain on, except yourself? What are you trying to sort through on your own that you could talk through with someone else? It’s not a character flaw to change your approach to your schedule so that you are allowing yourself, at least once a day, to prioritize your own restoration.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 4TH HOUSE

You could be feeling some discomfort in your home life, whether that’s reaching a point of tension or conflict with a roommate, or having conversations with family members that seem to go nowhere. Instead of a burst of movement or change, Mars might have introduced a sudden awareness of the stale areas of your life. Mars in the 4th house is asking us to reconsider our routines, especially the aspects of them we practice unconsciously. Some of our habits are so deeply held that we may not understand they can be changed. We may replicate traditions of our childhood--ones that aren’t necessarily negative, but ones that simply no longer serve our happiness. We may set arbitrary rules about what we should eat, or when we should do things, like watch TV, read, or do nothing. We may be so desperate to be physically and psychologically healthy during a time defined by illness that we have become our own nagging, overbearing parent, exacerbating our own boredom and self-resentment.

Let Mars kick those real or imagined eyes of surveillance out of your head. If you have a Tarot deck, we recommend you look at the Tower card and let it act as a representation for the mental exercise of clearing your mind (or you could even use the images of the Tower included in this post). You might meditate on the image and close your eyes; imagine yourself sending a bolt of lightning into that point in your psyche where you envision these controlling voices live and tell them to get lost. You deserve to be liberated from their control.

4th house Geminis: you can live however you want. No one is watching you. You don’t need to coordinate with anyone. You don’t need to wait and see what others are doing. You don’t even need to plan ahead. Try acting first and apologizing later; don’t resent the lack of clarity or permission as a way to prevent yourself from being a bit more spontaneous within your own sphere of experience.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 5TH HOUSE

Hit send! Submit your work, your proposals, your effusive text messages. Find opportunities to pursue, even if it’s just entering a raffle, or bidding on something in an auction. Whatever you’ve been working on, or whatever desire you’ve been half-nursing, get it out there, or begin shaping it so you can let go of at least this iteration of it. Even though the fall from the Tower feels like a self-destructive risk, it’s likely that it feels liberating too--in both material and immaterial ways. If you’ve been working hard, it’s time to open the windows, take the lid off. Otherwise you run the risk of the work and your worry shutting you in and shutting you off. Don’t let your energies solidify into rock.

Eventually outside forces and voices will intercede or interject. One of the Tower’s Kabbalistic meanings is related to the mouth; it’s time to speak and/or let some outside nourishment influence or add to your ideas and projects. The energy of the relinquishing act is its own reward in that it teaches us a way of relating to what we love that is generous, creative, and inwardly lightening and restorative. Whatever it is, get it off your chest, or send it on its way.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 6TH HOUSE

You may be encountering a challenge that involves the navigation of a complex system; the transit here very much speaks to tax season, or the challenge of paperwork. It could be about wills, property, and other kinds of titles. It could be about getting yourself organized so you can see all the resources that are available to you. It could be that there are archives that need to be put into order so that you can actually use all the information you’ve collected. There is a pattern in your life--materially or psychologically--that is waiting to be discovered. Follow the feeling of Mars for the next two months. What are you drawn to? What are you repelled by? These signals are telling you what’s available in your extrasensory repertoire. They’re telling you what kinds of behaviors, thoughts, or other inclinations are no longer serving you, or what you’re undergoing for the sake of the space these things take up in your life. You may even be worried that without these behaviors or interactions in your life, you will be more bored, or you worry you will miss them when they’re gone. Divert your path. You can find things more worthy of your energy and attention; Gemini in 6th can always adapt to changes to the network.

In the Smith-Waite deck, the figures falling from the Tower are surrounded by Yods, a Hebrew letter that also symbolizes a dot of energy, a spark of fire and life. These marks appear throughout the Tarot, especially in the S-W deck, as points or moments of generative potential. While changing things up (even just thinking about it) might generate feelings of anxiety, at the same time movements of change create new energy. You don’t need to balance your life between what you hate and what you love, or what you fear and what you want. Follow your “nose” (your heart? Some other Martian organ?) toward objects, people, and mindsets that linger with you in a way that is both challenging and pleasurable. Do not mistake resentment for challenge, and do not mistake fear as something you have to bury. Feel for the sensation of something that lingers like a question, or an itch--what generates electricity in your body or the surrounding air. Clear space around that feeling so you can examine it; look for Yods. Chances are what you are unlocking is a key or a clue to the challenge of establishing a new, creatively generative system, one through which you can communicate to yourself and others with a surprising or refreshing clarity. Don’t get frustrated with yourself; enjoy the challenge of the game.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 7TH HOUSE

In looking at the Heaven’s Gate birth chart, Mars in Gemini in the 7th house seemed to speak very directly to the way couples were required to separate in order to exist within the community. In the HBO documentary, one of the men was sharing a kind of deep sorrow that he experienced when separating from his partner of many years, and the urge he felt to propose that they leave Heaven’s Gate so that they could be together (he did not end up saying this to her). Mars in the 7th isn’t just about the separation of the romantic pair bond, but the challenges of all aspects of intimacy, the way we struggle with ourselves to express things to another person, and the way we struggle to hear what they have to say to us. It can also be the desire that draws us to others in a way we can’t explain. With Mars transiting your 7th house, make sure to be present for the way you are experiencing your intimate, perhaps emotionally difficult relationships. Do you feel like you are able to get distance from your feelings, or do they overwhelm you? Do you feel the need to argue on behalf of your feelings, or, in conflict, can you sit with the unfairness of your perspective as it may feel unrecognized or unacknowledged?

Instead of the desire to use conversation or argument as an outlet or a primary outward expression of difficult emotions, try to bring the difficulty of conflict into a different or less immediate context than with the person who your emotions immediately relate to or concern. Talk to someone else. This might be about “airing out” the feelings of conflict rather than directing them towards a purpose or outcome.

In Kabbalistic thought, the Tower represents the mouth; and, speech, like the top of the tower, or the crucible, might be the opening that attracts the destructive activation of the lightning bolt. You may feel tempted to spout fire, especially in the direction of a loved one, but, before you do so, try to take a moment to consider the effects this will have on your immediate relationship or environment. Is the scene depicted in this card the kind of results or energy you want to foster? If you are seeking change, is this what you want it to look like? Here it might be more useful to look at the Thoth deck. To do so, we have included a picture of MM Meleen’s version of Crowley’s Tower. In the heat of chaos, the source of discontent matters less than the approach to recovery. How can you divert the force of your words--while remaining true to your feeling--in the heat of the exchange? Can you find a way to examine the feeling without making it a part of a contract or negotiation? When you are ready to share for the sake of sharing--not for the sake of achieving a certain outcome--it may be that the other person has an easier time hearing what you have to say, and you won’t feel the value of your expression wrapped up purely in the way that they react to what you express.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 8TH HOUSE

Go deep. This is a great time to lean into a divinatory practice, particularly Tarot, which helps you to focus your feeling into language and recontextualizes your language into imagistic forms, the descriptions of which provide answers. Use creative dialogue--prompts where you have to ask yourself questions and answer them. Book an appointment with a reader of some kind, or set an intention with a therapist that helps you to excavate a point of uncertainty or difficulty that you are having a hard time working out on your own. Mercury, domiciled in Gemini, delivers messages between the underworld and the surface world. Gemini in 8th is about bringing the depths to light, not necessarily so they can be shared, but so they can be meaningfully integrated in the way you understand and experience yourself. With Mars transiting the 8th, it may be that something has sent you downward, or inward, in an unexpected way. It could have been a trigger, something that in a straightforward way feels unrelated to trauma but nevertheless has made that trauma feel very present. Try not to see being in this place or mindset as if it’s a setback, but rather a challenge to your abilities of mental resourcefulness; feel around in the dark for the tools available to you, and celebrate that you are not with nothing.

You might take out the Tower card from your own deck of Tarot cards or use the ones provided in this post and meditate/converse with the images there. What kind of immediate thoughts or physical reactions do you have toward the card? If, at first glance, all you can perceive are negative messages, what if you tried connecting these to changes or next phases that you would consider positive? You might even choose one of the figures (again, here, referring to the Smith-Waite deck) and imagine that you are them, falling through darkness and fire. If you knew that in the end you would be physically okay, how might you use this inward, metaphorical “fall” as a potential space for personal revelations and transformation? Or, if a visualization of the fall is too much, imagine the figures once they have finally reached the ground: disoriented, lost as to where to go or what to do next. Try not to focus on climbing out of the darkness, but rather find ways to set up camp for a while, and to let your eyes adjust to what is there. And always remember that the card that follows the Tower is the Star.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 9TH HOUSE

You may experience the onset of this transit as a kind of rebelliousness or a “storming the palace” energy. Use it. Argue with your superiors on behalf of those you love and admire. Say what you need to say in order to make space for productive exchange, not only to critique. Be mindful of shots fired. Be honest but not cruel. If you are responsible for young people, as in an educational field, teach them strategies to experience anger, and to honor it as a useful tool for advocacy. Be the lightning bolt in the Tower card: assertive yet precise. Remember that the things you say--even one thing--carry the potential for cataclysmic effect. Use your own anger to advocate for others rather than focusing energy on harming those you might have positioned as antagonists, otherwise you risk becoming the antagonizer yourself. Remind people in power that their confusion is their own challenge and not your responsibility. In some cases this might mean stepping back and letting some of those that you care for “fall from the Tower,” knowing that this can be a loving act, even as it operates as a necessary learning opportunity. If you are thinking of ways to disrupt a structure you exist within while being aware of the ways in which it is harmful, think about ways you might attract lightning, or ways to welcome powerful transformative force. Like Walter de Maria’s lightning field, which “is intended to be experienced over an extended period of time” and “does not depend upon the occurrence of lightning,” you may find your inclinations better served by setting the scene for change to occur, rather than ushering in that change yourself. Laying the groundwork, or discussing widely and clearly the necessity to do so, remains a valuable contribution to the process of overall change.

We don’t need to rectify privileged ignorance; we only need to provide reminders that the ignorance of a few should not have the power to delimit the experiences of many. Take space by giving reminders that that space exists, whether the powerful acknowledge it or not.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 10TH HOUSE

Facilitate a meeting of the minds. You are probably the hub for several different social groups, and it is likely that you can think of people in these different areas of your life that would benefit from knowing one another. Think of a selection of your social world that would most benefit from a convergence of some kind, and make it happen. You don’t have to feel a responsibility to host, per se, and it may not even be the case that a large group (or email chain) makes sense, but for this transit you might want to think about connecting people who you think ought to be in touch with one another. It may be your job or your public role in some way to do this for others already, but with Mars coming through, it may be a productive challenge to think about conducting this role of connection by considering different topics of connection than you normally would. Like the flash of lightning that disrupts the stability of the Tower, subsequently creating a space for necessary change and dynamic thinking, how might you also shake things up in your communities that need it?

The resulting fire in the Tower is not simply disruptive; it is fabulously alchemical. It may be that you facilitate a connection between people who could enter into a kind of productive conflict, rather than a conventionally harmonious situation. Whatever you decide to do, it could potentially bring greater excitement into others’ lives if you consider the ways in which the people you introduce to one another are very different, rather than very much the same.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 11TH HOUSE

You may have taken on more than you actually wanted to in terms of zoom groups or other meetup type things to pass the time in this past year. You may have said yes to so many things out of the idea that too much is better than not enough, but now you don’t have as much time for yourself as you would like. You also may have figured initially that joining different kinds of arts or leisure communities could be a way to unwind, but you ended up taking on more responsibility in these situations than you initially anticipated--again, out of the idea that it would be interesting, provide more opportunities, be inherently rewarding. Before you say yes to any new roles or zoom meetings, think about what it is you’re actually willing to do, and be willing to admit what it is you want to get back. Are there times when you want to experience a more passive role in your chosen communities, where someone else is directing or organizing? Maybe ensure that if you continue participating in multiple community settings, there are instances in which you are not in a primary leadership position. A sense of being taken care of, at times, can be the pleasure of existing within a group. Remember that this kind of pleasure helps to strengthen your bond to other members of your community, and in some ways the cultivation of this bond is more useful than an assumption of leadership.

MARS TRANSITING GEMINI IN THE 12TH HOUSE

For some reason you rarely forgive, permit, or celebrate in yourself the same qualities you recognize as valuable or forgivable in others. Aries Season Celestial Calendar

Actually I’ve decided to just post some work and art that I’ve done for the zine sporadically here like I am too tired and overwhelmed to do a whole zine sorry you all had to witness this haha Especially today on the equinox a LOT is happening so I can’t even blame myself for trying to push a production through a mercury retrograde and this celestial CLIMAX going on in the heavens right now. This new zodiac cycle is the fire cracker we might all need to get us started off on the right foot. (especially to jump start us out of the thick mud-like slow pace energy the previous pisces season put us through. This past pisces season along with mercury rx in pisces was forcing everyone to STOP whether they liked it or not and reflect on our goals and what steps we need to re examine in order to move forward in our paths.) It starts off with intense energy with the full moon in libra begging us to focus on finding balance and support with close ones. We have a few moments when mars and pluto trine which will give us opportunities to ram through obstacles yet also with certain factors like jupiter going into retrograde, we need to rely on our planning and hard work instead of luck to get us there. It wraps up again at the very end of the season with the full moon in libra once more in hopes that we have achieved some harmony in our journey forwards.

 Will this aries season be as aggressive as the previous one in 2018 when mars and saturn were conjunct the whole time and mercury was retrograding in aries?? Thankfully I think not yet though this season seems to bring a few challenges, we also have a few days where we are given the energy and tools to progress. If you use your energy wisely you will get A LOT done in this season.

March 20th ~

- Spring Equinox Aries season begins on the spring equinox (in the northern hemisphere). The days are equally light and dark and moving towards the brighter days of the year. The spring equinox celebrates the inner child, new beginnings and springing forward with plans.

- Sun enters Aries A time for action, excitement, light hearted fun and competitiveness

- Sun conjunct Chiron They will be conjunct in aries at 1 degree This will amplify the need to find love for ourselves and uphold our power. If you might be unbalanced in this area it might either make you feel unempowered or you might feel the need to over assert yourself maybe even aggressively. If you feel pain in those areas where you feel you lack power now is the time asking you to address that.

- Mercury in Pisces sextiles Saturn in Capricorn This combination will give us a strong need to re-examine our direction with our goals. We might feel a strong urge to do some mental spring cleaning and reorganize our lives and ourselves. Mercury is still in retrograde so this energy will be directed inwards. With the sun conjunct chiron we might be prone to overthinking our previous steps and mistakes yet its good to be aware of this combination so we can take the moment to shed what no longer serves us and not dwell on our past.

- Mars in Taurus trines Pluto in Capricorn   Though the past two combinations might give us a lot to work with internally, this one will give us a lot of power externally. This trine is beneficial in giving you a surge of goal-directed energy. Today we might feel ambitious, assertive and direct in achieving our desires. Though mars and pluto might be an intense pair, this energy flow will still allow us to maintain harmony especially with the force of the full moon in Libra. If you have any obstacles or challenging situations that has hindered you for some time this is a time where we will feel the boost to ram through them. An excellent day for road opening magic whether you need it for external affairs or internal shadow work. This is an actual firecracker of energy to start off the spring and aries season off with power.

-Full Moon in Libra The moon reaches its fullness somewhere at 1AM GMT which will make it appear full on the equinox as well. However as this energy stays for two days, with the incredible combinations of other aspects on this day makes this an incredible day for celebration and cherishing close friends and lovers. This will be an amazing day for love magic and manifesting if you are looking to sow seeds for any creative projects.

 -Venus in Aquarius sextiles Jupiter in Sagittarius Venus and Jupiter is the best pair for partying, celebrating and love making. Especially if you decide to do some love magic on this full moon, your spells will be especially blessed. This energy will make you feel warm and blessed and rather generous. Especially with Venus in Aquarius, socializing and making new friends or building up your community will be favored on this day. If you are dating or looking for someone special, any romantic or sexual pursuits will be blessed on this day.If you want to travel, today would be the day. The only slightly negative thing to watch out for under this influence would be a tendency towards excess such as spending too much or indulging in too much.

 -Venus in Aquarius square Mars in Taurus Squares can amplify energy yet also cause some difficulties. This transit especially with lucky Jupiter involved in a great combo with Venus could amp up the sex drive to exhilerating levels. If you have a few relationship difficulties or underlying sexual or competitive tension this square would unfortunately bring it out. However if you do suffer from some built up sexual or creative tension today would be best to release it on the full moon or get it out by channeling it into a creative project.

Venus enters Pisces Love becomes all-embracing when venus transits pisces. We are able to forgive and understand. Compassion is key and we look for pleasures in places that are tender, understanding and dream-like. Pisces is ruled by Neptune the planet of dreams and illusions. We will find inspiration in our own dreams, messages from the astral and find pleasures in the ethereal.

Venus in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus The need to enjoy creative outlets or entertainment that is new and fun will be heighten today. Especially in the realm of things that are sensual as Uranus passes through the earthy Taurus. This will be another exciting day for our social and or love lives. We can make breakthroughs or birth brand new creations in our creative works. This is a great day for manifestation magic, creating charms or pouring our energy into our creative projects and adding excitement to our partnerships. Our unique expressions will be heightened today and it will be an opportunity to attract those of like-mind. This will be beneficial to those whom are more shy or don't gather much attention. Unlike the full moon on the 21st this may not be the best day to make new friends and lovers, though this transit might bring instant attraction, the connection might be fleeting. Therefore it could lead to friends-in-the-moment situations or one night stands, which some may like, yet others may find disappointing in the long run. Best to just focus on adding to what's already there.

Mercury moves direct in Pisces Finally out of retrograde we might feel like we are mentally breaking free of the sleepy state the rx has brought us into. We still have until the 16th until it leaves shadow and breaks forward.

Eros moves into Leo This little asteroid that trails along Mars describes our desires, sexual nature and creativity. As it moves into Leo (the king of creativity!) we might find ourselves able to create more and have a strong desire to keep our passions alive or seek out passionate affairs. Leo rules the heart and Eros transiting this sign asks us to open our hearts to our own creative forces. Eros will show us where our love and desires have been repressed and will awaken the urge to create and connect with the youthful nature of the heart.

Mars enters Gemini This will be a fun transit if you are looking to trying new things or exploring new pursuits yet unfortunately a messy transit for everyone else trying to achieve certain goals. This conjunction will bring our attention to all things spiritual and mysterious. The occult, secrets and spiritual affairs will seem really interesting and it will be an ideal time to take up studies in artistic or divinatory subjects because of our enhanced imagination and psychic powers. New moon in Aries Aries season started off asking us to re-examine our power and break through any obstacles in our way. However it's not a great time to rely on luck or travel and particularly its a great time to avoid trifling with the order of things or social justice as we might mispeak or get into more trouble than usual. this combination will increase the desire for stability in close partnerships. You'll need to feel loved and supported. and weak friendships or romantic flings will not be appealing for you. Through that we can evolve to a higher level and let things go and feel less threatened. Instead of a death this can lead to a transformation which can give us a sense of inner power. You can then channel this new sense of inner power into success through ambition or hard work.

Opportunities can come in the form of personal and spiritual growth if we work on self reflection.

With this transit close relationships will deepen to a soul level. Companionships will become more important as we will feel a longing to share love with someone worth our time. For some this might be a moment where we could get deeply infatuated with someone or develop an obsessive crush. Any new romance could be an exhilerating experience. Close friendships could deepen into spiritual bonds.

Today might be a challenging day to get work done or stay present. Venus squaring jupiter creates challenges in being responsible (with self control and finances), focusing on and completing tasks yet jupiter in retrograde can turn that tension inwards. If you can take the time off it would be a great day to do dream magic and explore our inner worlds through smoking blends and journaling, but if you have to be out and about it'll be best to carry stones such as hematite and smokey quartz to keep focus.

It's time to take all that we've gathered in self reflection during the retrograde and restful shadow period and apply it now as we push forward with our goals.

Full Moon in Libra The last day of Aries season wraps up with the full moon returning in Libra to restabalize balance as we transition our way into the blissful Taurus season. Aries season is like the canon launching us forward (whether we are ready or not) and also is one of the most chaotic solar transits, yet this year has a lot of helpful energetic tools to offer. With the Full Moon returning to Libra it helps bring closure to what seeds we've sown last cycle or helps us revisit any loose ties before moving forward.

  It’s finally Taurus Season (4/20 an appropriate date) and it begins with the full moon now in Scorpio and Juno moving into Cancer.

Progressively speeding up as we move deeper into the Solar Minimum and yet we have barely begun, the energy we find ourselves in is transforming those consciously aware rapidly, moving through realisations and releases almost hourly compared to how it was not so long ago when “things” would take “time”, of course, we realise that the “time” we took was again part of what required releasing and by releasing the lower aspects of this energy spectrum, the weighted time of the human linear way, it became Divine Time which simply showed the love within the energy, the light, and offers perfection in every moment. To exist in Divine Time is to be in a space of complete surrender, it’s a space where judgement would be self-sacrificing and defense creates internal wounds, Divine Time is the higher conscious view of Saturns playing ground and once you acknowledge our Lord and the rules on the gate he will gift you with the most magical experience as you release the restrictions of the lower octave programming we came to accept and be ruled by.

Breaking Free is a theme of energy that we have been surfing all this year, releasing from the Devil Tarot Card that represents the Capricorn energy, but as we know the Devil represents the low octaves of the human, the machine, the blind and so to use the old unconscious ways of the fear spectrum such as defense and judgment, blame and shame allows those loose chains to remain in place, those chains are not fixed, they are easily removed and so the choice to remain has always been yours.

The resistance creates disharmony, release brings magical celestial harmonics and with these Mars square Saturn and Pluto transits that are now reactivated for the next couple of weeks, the Mars square Saturn lined up yesterday and the Mars square Pluto is heading in now, we are continuing to learn how to ride this wild stallion, although perhaps some have mistakenly picked up the wild bull as it went charging past, see that’s a little different energy, the stallion holds heart, he can be tamed, the bull on the other hand doesn’t seem to hold the ability to connect, has no care, just wants to charge his angry self into every obstruction, and will eventually burn out his energy and most likely refuse to move for quite some time.

Both patterns, both rides are super important, those choosing the charging bull will no doubt learn to catch a ride with the stallion next time around and by that phase the chances are the bull will have allowed you to observe why you chose him, that the walls you had built up around, caked in unconscious belief systems posters and flyers to keep the truth of the wall hidden behind pretty dreamy pictures and fluff dressed in pity MUST come down.

This energy however you choose to move through is evolving us, taking us on lightspeed travels, zipping parts of our minds back into our ancient self, to retrieve data required for the now, and yet the next minute we are travelling with the ancient future self to receive the confirmation because the gems being retrieved are often beyond imagination and require boosts to fully understand the resonance and the codes held.

This means MORE raising of the physical body vibration, more listening to its requirements and acting in the moment as opposed to the old ways of waiting/weighting, which only ever slows us down, ignoring the most subtle signs of the body, even so much as making the request for thirst or hunger dissolve and opting for avoidance tactics signals to the body a lack of interest, a lack of unconditional love, there will be no self healing until EVERYTHING the body says is understood and innerstood, meaning we act upon everything, in the NOW because the now is the space in which we choose, now is The Creator of the ever evolving you.

This Mars energy we are experiencing is such a powerful clearing and creative energy if you understand how it behaves, and once that is understood we realise it is simply our own energy, emanating out from within and using the power of creation to highlight where our creation is not in harmony with our highest aligned timeline, and he is showing us the wounded masculine in its process of healing, as he is hot on the heels of the feminine, Venus, who is just one step ahead, Mars is focused, he is heading out of the underworld where he has been hidden behind the sun and he is now making the most out of this journey, fully aligned, fully committed to begin to unify with the feminine, the wounded masculine within is ready to support, ready to place his energy where it matters, within, to show his Queen her value, the true twin flame within, is ready to merge and become One very powerful light force energy.

What makes this more magical is that Saturn holds no expectation and the lesson is to realise it is the motion that matters, holding the awareness and making steady positive steps, in fact any speed or idea of rushing, pushing or charging ahead will only create an experience to understand patience, and again to step back into the flow of Divine Time allowing this to form so it can show you all the magical light gems along the way, and we don’t want to miss a single one, every light gem is so ridiculously valuable especially during this Dark Moon energy we have been surfing leading into todays Scorpio New Moon, which is opposing Uranus in Taurus, there is the bull again and he is acting rather jumpy with Uranus on his back, taking random turns, bucking and spinning, this is pure expect the unexpected energy, and for the cosmic surfers this is likely to bring a whole heap of new ideas and ways to underpin the new physical body vibrational upgrades you have been focusing on, this is something I noticed just a couple of days ago as myself and Reese, my son, have been adding some rather new and interesting things to our diets to assist on his road to recovery.

What has been interesting to See in this is that there is a reflection of weakness, whilst I don’t have Ankylosing Spondylitis I have become aware we do have weakness in the same area which is why we are now healing this as One body, he is afterall a future version of myself, his template was created during times of dis-ease and of course this becomes the baseline frequency of his genetic makeup, so it makes sense we do this together.

But what this experience has been showing is exactly how this all works, how when you release all fear and restriction, when you listen to the requests of the body, when you care more, when you prioritise Self and plug only into that which nourishes, which incorporates all feeds that enter the field, then the experience becomes nothing short of enlightening and therefore rapid, the moment you release the push and the need what transpires is the flip, the rise and the expansion into new healthFULL experiences and by using the signposts being delivered by our celestial map it becomes an incredibly INjoyable transition.

The Scorpio New Moon energy takes us in deep, it allows so much to be seen and released to begin yet another transformative week that sees us welcoming in the backwards dance of Mercury in Retrograde, we are dredging the pool of Scorpio, we are digging away at the bottom and there will no doubt be more data to be found as ancient relics are unearthed giving us yet more clues as to why we find ourselves here and from these clues we will soon realise new paths opening up for us to journey.

This Mercury Retrograde is coupled with a solar wind prediction, we await the codes heading in and I will be back to translate. Stay present in the heart angels and open into pure acceptance for how the guidance moves us.

I have no excuse because I knew what was coming - I am a double Taurus and Lunar Sagittarian. I knew my home was going to experience a shakeup, and my boyfriend kicked me out of our home. He and I talked through our problems, but after I followed through and he came to a home empty of me. He immediately regretted his words and I regretted my actions. A Libra Full Moon of Transition, Peace, and Trust

On March 20th, 2019 the Aries Equinox coincides with a Full Moon in Libra, providing us a powerful day of earth magic and celestial influences. The time of the Vernal Equinox (spring in the northern hemisphere) denotes an important turning point in our earth’s yearly cycle, where the day equals the night, and is a time of sacred significance of balance, harmony, and cyclical transition. With the Sunand Moon occupying 0º degrees of Aries and Libra, respectively, we may find our awareness drawn to the themes of how we operate as an individuals, versus how we navigate in relationship and cooperation with others.

During this Full Moon we may find ourselves confronted by that which we thought we had squared away and healed over, only to be faced with the painful places in ourselves that are still in need of love and acceptance. This is indicated by Chiron, the wounded healer, at 1º Aries in very close conjunction to the Sun, and therefore opposite the Moon in Libra. It may become extremely important, now, to be extra-aware of where and how we tend to blame others outwardly for our circumstances, or instead choose to step up and take responsibility for our own creation of our world. With all that Aries energy coming in, there could be impatience and frustration arising, and yet there is also more fiery vital energy available now to face ourselves and each other squarely. The trick will be to channel that belly fire in pursuit of peace and resolve, rather than furthering conflict or blaming. It is important to note that the Full Moon axis at 0º Aries–Libra, makes a semi-sextile and an inconjunct aspect with Uranus, in the very first degree of Taurus, therefore activating Uranus. These initial degrees being activated suggests a new phase emerging, where potentials and possibilities are buzzing and vibrant. This is an exciting, and volatile, lunation, especially with Mercury in retrograde. The Mercury Retrograde time is asking us to reflect inwardly, and to thoughtfully pause before forging full steam ahead. Within this context our choices become very important – recalling that the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step, and that that first step is vital in setting a particular path into motion. Let it be the path that you choose carefully, rather than the one that you happen to fall into.

In this Full Moon configuration we also find Mercury, still retrograde in Pisces until March 28th, now closing in on its conjunction with nebulous Neptune. This is a time to trust inner knowing, resting into a deep sense of trust and faith in the divine plan, and not a good time to over-analyze, or make decisions from a strictly rational or logical orientation. The realms of dream and mystery are very accessible, now, and we may serve ourselves, and others, better by employing our intuition, a deep sense of listening, and kindness towards ourselves and others. It might also help to remember that we all could use a little forgiveness and compassion as we stumble along through the misty fogs and uncertainties of Neptune.

We also have a whole group of planets occupying 22-23 degrees of their respective signs; there’sEris at 23º Aries, Mars at 23º Taurus Jupiter at 23º Sagittarius, Pluto at 22º Capricorn, and finally Venus at 23ºAquarius. So many planets in close aspect to one another makes for a complex dynamic. Mars in perfect square to Venus, in concert with all these other energies, is particularly dicey. One aspect of this tangle of energies is the need for reconciliation between what we label masculine and feminine in ourselves and in our external world. We must also stand up for ourselves amidst the tumult, and for what we most deeply believe. There’s a process of being tumbled in the stormy seas, yet looking to find a sense of expansiveness and levity, so that we do not drown in our own tears of sorrow for ourselves – or for the dire state of our world. 

The Sabian Symbols for this Full Moon, in the classic beginning degrees of both halves of the Zodiac, are also quite interesting; being, for Aries, “A woman rises out of the water, a seal rises and embraces her.” This is a symbol of new beginnings, in a different dimension, and in this case we might recognize that dimension as a more spiritual one. For the Moon, in the first degree of Libra, we find “A butterfly made perfect by a dart through it.” This is another quite powerful symbol, of the transformation of a well-lived life into art. Together these symbols suggest that we are all currently moving through some major transitional changes during a climactic March month.

We are being asked to not only wake up to some very harsh realities, but also to bring all of ourselves online and on board to navigate the many moving parts and pieces of our swiftly changing worlds. This could be asking very different things from each of us, so what becomes helpful and supportive for one person could be toxic for another. By truly asking ourselves what is most helpful, aligned, and supportive of the highest good, we get in step with the flow of life. I believe that through this inquiry and direct conversation with life, we can become infused with the most essential and purest aspect of our nature, thereby more usefully and successfully navigating the intensity and complexity of what is happening in our world. May we each remember the inherent divinity within ourselves, and may we endeavor to navigate our lives and world centered in that place of wisdom, grace, and love.
