When he found you in the forest, he was drawn in by your ethereal beauty. Oh, he was absolutely in love. You gave a curtsy and explained that Sovieshu had caught you in the forest while you were collecting herbs for a potion, and he asked you to be his mistress to which you said no because you just met the guy. Also, you didn’t sleep with married men because that was just rude.

The Emperor was heartbroken at this, but you just gave him a cold glare as you went with the Empress to be fixed up. This man had never been told no since he was the most powerful person in the Eastern Empire, so please excuse him if he is begging you to be his second mistress for a while.

Rashta

She first met you when Sovieshu brought you to the castle. Well… more like he was walking with you, but he didn’t bring you anywhere. You even scolded him and said that you should place a curse on him for even suggesting you be his mistress, since he already had another mistress and a wife.

The young lady had never been so shocked but so relieved, and so angry that her lover would do such a thing as betray her for a woman he had just met (sounds familiar…). She had to admit that you were beautiful, but you stole Sovieshu’s heart as well as the possibility for her to move up in society.

However, you were able to quickly become friends with Navier, which Rashta found completely infuriating because the two of you together had too much power. You were a renowned witch after all, and Navier was the Empress. She was intimidated by the two of you.

Every single time she tried to talk to you, you just walked away and didn’t give her the time of day (read that out loud and it rhymes). The worst part is that she couldn’t really do anything like cry to Sovieshu because he was still in love with you. You reminded her of the current Empress, with your cold, heartless stare.

Navier

She had also met you when you arrived at the castle with Sovieshu, and she liked you already because you were angry at him. She knew the two of you would get along great, and she harbored no harsh feelings against you because you were ‘proposed’ to since it wasn’t your fault.

You both were a lot alike: cold, kind to those you like, beautiful, etc. So, it was no wonder as to why the both of you became close after just a short amount of time. You both were also highly influential and powerful. So, she made you a noble and a popular dressmaker as well as a model so that she could raise money for poorer children to go through the Academy with fair educational opportunities. This was with your permission, of course.

Often, you both acted like young girls because you loved spending time with one another. Since being the wife of Sovieshu as well as the Empress of the Eastern Empire was stressful, you offered to pour her tea and try out different skincare products that offered an extended youthful glow as well as feature enhancement.

No one was surprised (but Sovieshu was upset) that you got letters and gifts from a multitude of suitors, and only one of them caught your attention. You had talked about it to Navier, and found out that the suitor that you were interested in was her brother. It was later that night that you responded to Kosair’s letter, accepting him as your lover and eventually as your husband.

Heinrey

You were a popular model as well as dressmaker, and you had your own skincare line. Of course he has heard of you because even Krista purchased some. There were stores that sold your products all over the world, and you gained worldwide popularity.

However, he found out that you were close to Navier because one night, when he flew in as Queen, he found the two of you enjoying tea together as you discussed your suitors. He was surprised to see you, even more so when you understood his squawks. However, as he told you how he felt for the Empress, you were intrigued and agreed to keep his secret.

You were an ally of the two, often using your own popularity to help as you announced that you were moving your headquarters to the Western Kingdom when Navier confirmed her plan to marry Heinrey. He was happy to see that you were on their side, and you told him how Sovieshu tried to ask you to be his mistress, so obviously you were on their side.

Now, while you were moving your headquarters, it wasn’t just to help the newlyweds. Part of it was, but the majority of it was because your fiance was exiled. You loved him, so you asked Heinrey if you could go there as well to marry Kosair, and he gladly agreed. After all, it would do good to get his future brother-in-law to like him.

Bonus: Kosair

He had seen you around town since you were a well-known model, and he thought you were absolutely breath-taking. He figured that there would be a chance that you would accept him because he was the Empress’s brother, but he was surprised that it was the way he wrote his letter that caught your attention.

You both had met officially in the royal garden of the Imperial Palace, and that is where you both found out you were a match made in Heaven. He made you laugh and feel appreciated in a way that no one besides Navier had made you feel before. The kiss he placed upon the back of your hand made you flush a little, and you knew that you made the right choice.

When he got exiled, he wrote you a long-winded but sweet-hearted letter detailing that he was leaving the Eastern Empire because of Sovieshu (which made you angry). So, you got permission from Heinrey to move there as well. You made quick preparations and couldn’t contain the excitement you felt.

Once you had arrived, Kosair was waiting for you. He opened the carriage door and helped you out, pulling you into a hug and a kiss. While it was scandalous to do that, neither of you cared at that moment. He was happy to feel your soft hands upon his face, and you were happy to hold him once again.

They have to be films I have seen in full and recommend, but I will describe them as objectively as possible.

These are not series, but either feature length movies, or shorts. All picks here will be watchable as standalones.

They have to be animated. This includes stop motion, full CG, traditional media, as well as a mix of techniques.

An animated adaptation of the comic of the same name, that compiles several of its stories in a single one. The rabbi’s cat has the wild adventures, talking beast premise and pacing of a fairytale, but whose characters are individuals full of personality.

A charming movie with unusual pacing and great acting. Watching the original french dub is a must.

Is on Amazon Prime to stream. Moderatly famous movie, should be easy to find copies of.

Part pseudo(is it?) documentary, part fantasy, it’s a film where brazilian cartoonist Angeli is interviewed, talking about his creative endeavors and the current crisis he’s in, half set insides his imagination, where his ugly and weird creations set on a journey across the wastes to prevent him from killing them like he loves to do to his characters.

While made by a fan of and acted by said artist and his friends, you can enjoy this film without knowing anything of his work. The physicality of the stop motion puppets and backgrounds works delightfully with the grimy punk vibes of it all and it’s not afraid to get weird.

Unfortunately not widely available, but english subtitles exist.

Sports, cars, sci-fi, anime extravaganza

Participants from all over the universe compete in the titular car race, a high stakes, no limits, completely illegal event that hypes the entire galaxy, much to the dismay of the planet the cars land on.

On a technical standpoint, Redline is insane. Animation, pacing, writing and music are perfectly calibrated to deliver a film that builds up hype the entire runtime. Don’t expect depth, you won’t need it - this is a movie that is just pure adrenaline and fun. Not liking cars shouldn’t be an obstacle, it’s to racing what Dragonball Z is to kung-fu.

I recommend watching the english dub. It’s fully on YouTube, albeit in bad quality.

2018 - Denmark/France - Hand-drawn 2D

This is an extremely hard film to watch. See description for content warnings.

Mental illness, dysphoria, eating disorders

Depicts the inner monologue of a woman trying and failing at battling her eating disorders. Alone in a room, she sees herself, her surroundings and her thoughts morph into monstrosities.

A gutting and raw depiction of the suffering caused by mental illness. While a remarkable movie, it’s one of the most disturbing ones I have seen, and heavily recommend skipping if you are having second thoughts about the topic discussed.

A brother and a sister flee their village to escape a pogrom, and soon find themselves alone, traveling through a fictional continent, trying to find ways to go further at each step, meeting a gallery of people along their way.

Literally an animated painting due to its technique. The story was inspired by the one of the creator’s own family, and she voluntarily chose a calm, down to earth, focused tone to depict the difficult subject matter. Never does this film try to push emotions onto the viewer, letting you travel alongside the protagonists instead, with no commentary, to experience their journey.

Unfortunately not localized that I know of.

Pretty graphic descriptions of violence towards children

Growing up, change, imagination

Two street kids watch the neighborhood they call home lose itself to gentrification. Their situation takes a dire turn when the local mafia in charge of operations decides to get rid of them once and for all - progress cannot be stopped by nobodies who exist outsides the law.

Although suffering from a rushed ending, it’s a story that provides many layers to get lost in, served by superb visuals and music. The two little protagonists and their sometimes troubled relationship are extremely endearing, and the film is emotional without being cheesy. (*)While I consider it an adult film, I’ve seen many fans say they grew up with it...hard to judge.

A psychiatrist is haunted by terrifying nightmares, ruining his life. Featured in all of them are famous paintings he, an art connoisseur, knows well. His clients learn of his troubles and decide to help the man fight his demons through a therapy they’re familiar with: high crime.

Ruben Brandt is a love letter to painting and art that does a lot of things very well. Charming characters, an investigation to follow, both fun and disturbing. The art style, voluntarily semi abstract for it’s characters, might take some time to get used to, but is very striking in it’s weirdness.

Yûl and the Snake

A boy accompanies his older brother during a visit to his boss in a remote corner of the wilderness. The two men play power games, taunting each other, and lash out at the boy.

This movie stands out for how naturally it’s written and acted. It’s intense and upsetting because it feels so real.

A journalist interested in the quest to scale Mount Everest catches a glimpse of a Japanese mountain climber long thought to be dead. He decides to track down the man and discover the truth.

This is a film you forget is animated very fast, but who’s animation itself is great, daring realism and an eye for technical detail.

You often hear of the merits of 2D animation that it lets you depict abstraction you just cannot reach with any other medium, and MindGame is the perfect example of that notion. A story about local legends that itself plays out like a folk tale. Both fun and spooky, it’s an especially interesting look into european catholicism - the old, old type, who’s weird rituals feel strangely...un-christian.

In a far future, one of the remaining humans is sent to investigate the underground for the sake of science. Blown up before he can reach solid ground, his head tumbles down there, from a floor to another, encountering the friendly locals who each time, give him a new body and welcome him to their weird little micro societies, before some slapstick disaster promptly makes his head fall once more...

This film was animated by a self taught solo artist (animation, music, puppets/props, writing and most of the voices!), which is already insanely impressive. Should it be the lack of any pressure from higher ups or no being told what to do by executives, but Junk Head is a batshit movie that screams fun for its entire runtime - and a lot, lot of heartfelt passion for movies. It’s weird, it’s funny, it’s touching, because it wants to be these things. A rare gem who stands out as utter opposite to corporate cinema.

Benefits from rare theater screenings, otherwise hard to obtain legally. No US release yet.

Memories is not one movie, but rather three short films mashed together with no transition in the hour and a half format. Each of these stories is fully independent and has its own art style, and all three are worth your time. I will present, in order, each individual short.

Worth noting - as I write this (summer 2022), a remastered version has been announced to get back in theaters! Otherwise, it is a remotely famous movie that should be easily obtained online.

Magnetic Rose: the crew of a spaceship follows an SOS signal which leads them to a long abandoned hunk of metal. Two of the men enter, determined to rescue whoever sent the signal. The deeper they go, the stranger the world around them becomes, as they slowly fall prey to a labyrinth of grandeur and illusions.

Of all three, Magnetic Rose struck me as the best film in the compilation. Great atmosphere and visuals, and very emblematic of that bygone 90s anime art style that flirted with realism.

Stink Bomb: a guy goes to work at his lab with a killer cold. Tired of sniffling all day, he tries out a new form of medecine, only to wake up a day later, only person left conscious amidst a disaster he knows nothing of. The national alarm is raised, and he sets off on a one man quest to help the nation, unaware of the damage he has done.

This is an over the top, expressive and very, very silly film. Nothing too deep, but it’s a really good time, and showcases some insanely good animation.

Canon fodder: one full day of the daily life of a mother, father and son, living in a gigantic dystopian nightmare town who’s culture is centered around a single thing - shelling an invisible enemy.

Writing-wise, the weakest of the films, but compensantes with incredible art, more illustrative than animated in style but animated nonetheless, like a strange, obsolete children’s story book from a non existing place and a bygone era... This is a weird, uneasy movie that does not tell much but keeps you watching.

Waltz with Baschir. An interesting and shocking film but who I did not enjoy enough to recommend it. Not family friendly, CWs for war, trauma and genocide, including actual footage of dead bodies

Anomalisa. Extremely interesting visually but again, not a movie I enjoyed. Not family friendly.

Perfect Blue. There is already a Satoshi Kon movie on the list, and Perfect Blue is a film I have issues with. Not family friendly. CWs for rape, violence and stalking depicted in the movie, as well as ableist writing.

The other day I cried because I was so sad but then I started thinking about Utonium and I cried more because suddenly I remember why I love this rectangle man.

Call me weird or whatever but I have no shame to admit that he is truly my comfort character and I can't imagine any of my other f/os that can comfort me other than him. I'm a bit embarassed to admit this but lately I don't feel like I was into selfshipping and I got so frustrated because honestly that has been my coping mechanism and like not being able to feel good and giddy about my f/o and think about them 24/7 and making scenarios in my head makes me so upset and I just hate it because I have to deal with a lot of things in my life right now and still grieving for my relationship irl and I feel so horrible omg

Fast forward to last week I was poisoned by twitter and fall for Miguel's Propaganda so like I crowned him as an F/O right after watching ATSV and like consumed a fuckton of medias involving him including reading fanfics again after not doing so for soooooooo long and honestly I feel so great because like I haven't feel any kind of butterflies in me for a very long while and I feel like a school kid with a crush again but then this week has been so cruel to me and like I keep trying to think about Miguel just for confort but I cant??? Like idk maybe because I don't really feel like a deep connection with this man and I just realize something: I like him because he's hot but I don't really click with his personality lol

I started thinking about Utonium again because I was really sad and I just want to be comforted and like after I stop sobbing like a dumb baby and my head hit clarity I remember why I love this rectangle man so much.

I literally will never shut up about this but I never have an f/o like him before. All of my friends knows I will always fall for the tall, brooding, hot bitchy men (which also kinda explains why I like Miguel lol) because I always have this idea of making an s/i that will fix these broken men but not Utonium, he never ever match any of my 2d men criteria at all. Clearly he wasn't hot and he is definitely not a brooding figure either.

But he 'came' when I was actually at my worst and was depressed. I only decided to watch ppg because the cw script leak made me so furious I decided to watch reruns of ppg. I just want something to distract me from my sorrow and I realized that each time Professor appears, I oddly feel comforted. I like how he loves his kids and teaches them to be good people but also scold them when they did something wrong. I find him to be silly because well, he's silly. He's smart sure but he can be so awkward around people I think that's cute. Sure enough I ended up falling for this nerd and then I come back to this site again because I want to tell everyone how much I love this rectangle man.

He's the only F/O I have that I love simply because of his traits and personality. He's the only F/O where I made an s/i that exist not only to 'fix' him, but instead wants to be 'fix' because all I want is to be comforted and wanted and he just hits everything that I want to have as a partner irl.

Maybe I talked about him less than I was before and maybe my feelings for him wasn't as strong as I was a year ago but he will always have a very special place in my heart and whether or not in a couple months or years he might not be my main f/o, I will always think of him as a true f/o to me 💕

Everyone saying ‘the whole cast is back’ when Nathaniel wasn't in the movie (as well as Narissa for obvious reasons) felt very weird and wrong to me

Why was Edward barely in the movie?? His himbo energy is a big part of makes the first film so great imo, and while he did steal the three scenes he was in (yes, three), he deserved to be in the movie more. Also this is a personal issue but I hate how he’s never called ‘King Edward’, as I was hoping his Disney Wiki page would be able to be retitled to that lmao. His name is King Edward of Andalasia, put some respect on his name.

And I was hoping he’d have a scene with Morgan detailing his own experiences with wicked stepmothers. But he and Nancy were missing for the whole middle act 😭, AND James Marsden deserved to sing more!

Robert too. Why did they make him an idiot knight? He’s not endearing like Edward, he just annoyed me. And they obviously kept him out of most of the film because True Love’s Kiss would undo Giselle’s wish. It pissed me off how nobody thought of doing that lmao

“We bring love from Andalasia and offer belated birthday cheer.” That was in the trailer, they filmed a part for it. It and the rest of the lyrics are in the official Spotify song, so why was it cut out of the film? So unnecessary.

Same with the Monroeville portion of the opening song, it should’ve been kept in.

The 2D animation sucks, and why did Nancy look so different? She and Idina both don’t have blue eyes, where did that even come from?

I wanted Giselle to go back to Andalasia and for Robert to go there period. We need to fully see how he looks in 2D and how Giselle changed.

And I dislike the implication that Giselle has never returned to Andalasia and shown Robert and Morgan where she grew up. As IF she’d never say goodbye to the animals who raised her. And since Morgan always asked for stories about Andalasia, why not TAKE her there? Literally what is stopping her? It’s bad writing.

And speaking of Morgan, yes teens are angsty but it still hurt to see her fight with Giselle (their relationship in the first movie is precious).

And I’m confused about the whole wicked stepmother thing? “It’s not true what they say, I have met so many kind and wonderful stepmothers.” What happened to that?

But ignoring that, Morgan calling Giselle her stepmother in the argument hurt bad. Because she knows how Giselle (apparently) feels about stepmothers and she was obviously trying to hurt her.

Giselle could’ve done her animal call and it either doesn’t work or ravens and other animals portrayed as villains (snakes, rats like in Lady and the Tramp) show up. That’d fuck her up and it’d be cool to watch! And Morgan sang the animal call in pt 2 of Fairytale Life, she should’ve done it for real.

Malvina was disappointing. I was expecting her to be an Andalasian who Narissa banished, like Giselle. Maybe they’re related (like Ursula and Morgana) and/or she was threatened by her magical competition so she sent her away. And with a name with Malvina, it made sense to me that she’d be Andalasian. Clearly that was the intention and I don’t get why the team behind the movie would trick the audience like that bc it’s the opposite of a good plot twist. Queen Narissa had way less screen time and I prefer her way better.

Plus it’d keep Narissa relevant to the plot which was not the case and I was deeply disappointed.

I predicted that with Monroeville’s slogan literally being “Your Fairy Tale starts here!”, it’d be designed by Malvina to be a trap for Andalasians to find out how they left Andalasia and if she can take their portal back there. Like there was so much potential that went wasted.

And where the hell is Malvina’s husband? (He’s on the billboard with Malvina and Tyson at the entrance of Monroeville, so he definitely existed at one point.) If he’s dead, at least just mention it once?

Why was Morgan and Tyson’s song cut? It’d give him + their relationship much needed development and it’s a cute song.

Rosaleen and Ruby were annoying. I love YNB and Jayma but their characters aggravated me.

Sofia crying after Morgan was pushed down the well could’ve been a chance for Giselle to break away from her evil self to care for her daughter. I thought that’d happen. We all did, right?

Paisley in real life

As the vacation in Sulani were soon coming to an end, the group went to the beach again, this time a different one, and with Jay on top of that. The Crosdale sisters had been meaning to show it to the roommates for a while, but it’s at around a 30 minutes drive while their local beach is only a five minutes walk. That beach is way less popular by virtue of being isolated, it’s usually where the locals go to get away from tourists. And this beach also had low-poly birds! Low poly chickens in fact! While most of the group was swimming, Akva, Rudi, June and Jay were building sandcastles.

Jay: By the way, got an idea on who’s going to adopt the baby? June: Really? Out of all the time you could have talked about that in the last week, you picked now? Jay: Well, Akva and I don’t see each other very much since I moved to Oregon for college, and my vacation ends tomorrow so...Indeed, no better time. June: Ya had an entire week you dummy! Akva: I was considering giving the baby to an influencer June likes, Paisley Cox, but she blocked me when I suggested it to her. Rudi: Ok but like, she’s a human right? Cause I mean, you’re a mermaid, Jay’s a merman, your baby will be a mermaid. And raising occult children is a unique challenge most humans aren’t prepared for. For example, my dad was a human and like, I love my dad, miss him so much and may his memory be a blessing but...It’s obvious he wasn’t prepared to raise three little werewolves.  Jay: “A unique challenge”. Why are you talking about us occults like we’re puppies? Rudi: Um, first of all I’m an occult too, I’m included in the three little werewolves, and also arguably my parents were indeed raising puppies. 

That’s when Akva looked up and she saw her, in the distance, taking some nice Instaworthy Selfies™ with her husband. It was her. Paisley Cox.

June: That’s because she took her husband’s surname, Damian Cox. Who is fun fact the son of the popular 90s rapper 2D-Maks. Her maiden name is Cucci. Jay: BITCH WENT FROM CUCCI TO COX???  Rudi: Trans men be like.

Well, as if she had forgotten any common sense, Akva ran (as best as she could) towards Paisley. She might have blocked her on Instagram, but she can’t block her in real life...Well, you can technically, it’s called a restraining order, but you can’t just click on a button and automatically get one.

Akva: Ok, ma’am, you’re going to think I’m crazy. But hello, I’m the teenager...Well, I’m 20 now, but I’m the teenage girl who suggested you could adopt my baby, remember me? My username is GuyanasTurquoise. And the offer is still open. Paisley: Stop it, this is creepy! Did you stalk me to find me here?  Jay: Well if you didn’t want to get stalked you shouldn’t disclose publicly that you’re currently on an island with a population of around 100,000 which you can drive the entire coastline in barely three hours. June: Great point Sanjayson, indeed sometime people are reckless with online safety. But could you formulate it in an even more victim-blamy way next time? Akva: I am serious. Y-You sound like a great mom, you’re clearly passionate over having children one day and I saw your videos of you taking care of your nieces and nephews. And how you’re looking into fertility treatment or surrogacy, and unlike me, you have loads of money, well more than enough to raise a child. P-Please, a-a-a-as long as you keep me updated on my child’s life and I get to see them ever once in a while, I’ll give it to you. Once we’re back in the US, I can even make the first move and contact the adoption agency. I’m not even saying it as a fan of you, I just think you’d make a great mom and it sucks you can’t have children while I ended up knocked up without even trying. Paisley: ...Look sweetheart, this is a huge decision for both you and me. I’ll think about it. Akva: Just don’t forget to tell me your answer, even if it’s negative. So in that case, I can just move on and start searching for another family. The official way this time though. Paisley: See, it’s not that hard.

Usually, when someone says they’ll “think about it”, it means a no. But who knows, maybe this time it’ll be a yes and Paisley will adopt Akva’s baby. Only the future will tell.

Oh yes.

So I probably won’t say much that anyone else hasn’t but- obviously he’s a huge piece of shit bastard who is awful and disgusting and destroys everyone around him (love that in a man/hj), but of course a lot of that is because he’s been through the shit himself. He’s so tragic in a lot of ways; he obviously never felt safe as a kid, and so ended up internalizing that violence is a normal thing— which is probably why he treated 2D the way he did; he had no idea how to react to someone being nice to him (and also as previously mentioned he is also just a massive dick). Another way he’s tragic is that he’s so fucking smart and hard-working, like, he loves books, he’s philosophical, he’s literally a doctor, he built a damn cyborg; if he weren’t as fucked up as he is, in another timeline, he could have been such a good scientist or doctor or inventor or whatever. He’s just such a self-destructive broken individual that he never ended up doing any of those, and I don’t think he believed he could either. And, fuck, he’s so goddamn passionate about what he does; as much as he makes all of his work seem so grandiose and spectacular, it’s not entirely unwarranted; he’s been shown to work so so hard on his music (he tries to take all the credit of course, which is pretty yucky but u can’t deny he at least knows what he’s doing). His incessant craving for attention is another part of what drives him to be the urethral cramp that he is; he craves closeness and intimacy and acceptance, and yet he is not emotionally mature enough to even begin to conceive those concepts, and, like, fuck dude, that hurts! I mean yeah getting abandoned as an infant is gonna do that to you, but god damn! He probably feels guilty on a fairly regular basis, but is too proud to admit it, and he doesn’t know how to say “I love you” or “I’m sorry” because he thinks vulnerability means he’s going to get hurt. And having the family he did, it’s not really a surprise he turned out the way he did. When you grew up fighting and with your guard up at all times like him, it’s hard to know when it’s safe to stop. He’s just such a mess of a man; he’s a brilliant, beautiful, hilarious, interesting, horrifying tragedy of a human being, and I fucking love him for it. Also I think he’s funny and I like his laugh and his vocal tics and his fashion sense and the little moments of kindness he does have that shine through and I can relate to his daddy issues and I also think he’s a bottom. Badaboom.

I figured I'd ask cause I've been following you for a while and you post transformers every so often, and I'm finally caving and want to check it out. So I'm curious what you might recommend to start at? (Cartoon-specifc)

Oh boy, okay SO this really depends on what exactly you're looking for in a show, so I'm gonna give you a variety to choose from.

The Transformers/G1: It's silly!! A fun Saturday morning cartoon that doesn't take itself too seriously. The Autobots and Decepticons, caught in their millions year long civil war, crash land on Earth and continue their battles. This is just a vehicle for Shenanigans to happen. You WILL get whiplash from how quickly the first episode changes scenes. 3 full seasons total, season 2 is the best one imo. You can watch it for free on Tubi.

Transformers Animated: not AS silly but still light-hearted. A fun cast with some of the best human characters in the franchise and a great overarching plot. Basically throws out the "in disguise" part and makes the bots heroes in futuristic Detroit. Some of my FAVORITE versions of these characters. 3 seasons and SHOULD'VE had a fourth but Hasbro killed it (something of a running theme in the franchise as a whole). You can watch it for free on Tubi.

Transformers Prime: a more serious take on the franchise that still manages to keep some levity. Small teams of Autobots and Decepticons (lead by Optimus Prime and Megatron respectively) continue their civil war in secret on Earth, vying for control of the energy rich planet. Absolutely STELLAR 3D animation and good character designs. A take on Cybertronian culture that has influenced so much of what has come after it. Middle of the pack human characters, /I/ think they're fine but a lot of people don't. 3 seasons and a TV movie, also got cut short. Season 1 is available on Netflix and the rest is for free on Tubi.

Transformers Cyberverse: I love Cyberverse to bits. Poppy art style that’s pleasing to the eye with a good mix of the 3D animation and 2D effects. I was gonna describe the plot until I realized that uh, it changes? Autobots vs Decepticons, except when it isn’t. Really has fun with the setting of Cybertron (once they get there), and is one of the few series that actually go PAST the war. 3 seasons and season 4 was two tv movie specials. Killed too soon. The only down side is that the episodes 15 minutes or so. I love this show so much. You can watch it for free on YouTube.

Transformers Rescue Bots: actually one of the best shows in the franchise and I am being 100% serious. A team of first responder bots have to team up with a family of first responders and keep the island of Griffin Rock safe while posing as highly advanced non-sentient robots. It's the baby show. Completely new cast of characters with some guest appearances from the heavy hitters (Optimus Prime and Bumblebee). The BEST human main and side characters. There's a musical episode. I honestly love this show so so so much please don't let the art style fool you it's SO GOOD. The only series to get 4 seasons and they are WELL. DESERVED. Also it takes place at the same time and in the same continuity as Prime, which will never not be funny to me. Season 1 is on Netflix, seasons 3 and 4 are available for free on The Roku Channel, but I can’t find anywhere to watch season 2. But, well, there are ways around that.

Transformers Beast Wars: listen. LISTEN. This is the best show in the franchise. Bar none. Look past the goofy late 90′s cg animation. Yes its fun to make fun of but eventually you stop paying attention to that because the show is just THAT. GOOD. Two ships, one full of Maximals and the other full of Predacons (the descendants of Autobots and Decepticons, respectively) are sent back in time and crash land on prehistoric Earth. GREAT characters, wonderful story, introduces SO many things that are still used in the series to this day. I love Beast Wars with literally all of my heart. It’s available for free on Tubi.

Honorable Mention: Transformers Earthspark. This is only an honorable mention because season 1 isn’t even finished yet but what we have of it so far is VERY good. Great characters, wonderful animation, great music, and a lot of promise going forward. I’m so excited to see where this is gonna go.

PROS AND CONS OF DATING VIVIAN.

the pros.

She’s a very cute, glasses wearing girl. Need I say more?

You will likely end up being her special interest... aka she will have a page in her notebook dedicated to you, with all your likes and dislikes written in it. Stuff like blood type, birthday, hobbies, kinks, and turn offs would also be included as well, but regardless, you can expect to be gushed about.

There will never be a dull moment with her, so you don’t have to ever worry about being bored.

She will bring you flowers, regardless of your gender.

Vivian will take care of you if you get sick. Seriously, this girl won’t take no for an answer and will see to it that your health improves!

It’s very likely you will be the only person she truly loves. Like, she may be sexually attracted to other people, but she’s not the type to really fall for others, so romantically speaking, she will only ever have eyes for you.

Vivian actually likes physical contact and being touched, so unlike most touch-averse autistic individuals, she adores PDA, to the point where she won’t be uncomfortable if you shower her with affection.

She’s a very good girl. For example, Vivian isn’t very motivated to cook for only herself, but if she’s cooking for two, you can expect consistent home-cooked meals. Vivian is an extrovert, so if you’re not much a talker, she can do most of the talking for you.

She’s very open minded and fun-loving, meaning she will likely agree to tag along in whatever adventure you’re dragging her into.

Vivian will actually stop hating couples/media with romance and fictional couples in it, so if you guys are dating, her bitterness towards normies would fade.

You will be up to speed when it comes to Gen-Z language and internet lingo in no time, because this girl is very much a nerd who grew up with memes.

With her, cringe culture is basically dead; in other words, she will absolutely join you, decked out in full frontal cosplay, and even go as far as to Naruto run with you.

the cons.

Vivian may be eccentric, but she isn’t a manic pixie dream girl, so you may end up disappointed if she doesn’t give you important life lessons or improve your life in any meaningful way. I mean, this girl is dumb, to the point where she doesn’t exactly have the best head on her shoulders.

She will still love 2D characters, to the point where she will continue hyperfixating over them and writing fanfiction of them. She will, however, cease to have the desire to date them in real life.

She has very bad table manners... meaning she might shamelessly belch around you.

Regardless of your gender, she will ask if you would want to take a leak together at some point.

With actual boundaries being set, Vivian can eventually mellow out over time, but if you don’t play your cards right, she can become obsessed with you. Honestly, due to the fact she has compulsive sexual behaviour, chances are high she will instigate very inappropriate actions around you.. Basically, though, if you give her an inch, she will take a mile, and by having sex with her, you’re potentially putting your dick in crazy.

Does prefer men and masc-aligned individuals, so while she is capable of being attracted to women/gender queer folks, Vivian might end up becoming miserable in a monogamous relationship with someone who isn’t a man. Like... if she is strictly forbidden to explore her sexuality with men/masc-aligned individuals, there’s a high chance she will feel trapped in that relationship, but she will never express it to you, because she doesn’t want to hurt your feelings.

She’s a slob, so she won’t often brush her hair and will probably be found with her pant pockets hanging out. Coupled with the fact she struggles when it comes to executive functioning, there might even be times where she forgets to brush her own teeth.

Despite being a true girl at heart, Vivian isn’t stereotypically feminine and will act very boyish, to the point where she’ll be the one to hold out doors and pull out chairs for you.

Vivian’s stubborn... and can get very mean-spirited, if you end up making her angry.

Because she’s an autistic woman who refuses to mask, she might prove to be a bit too much for the average neurotypical person. Honestly, her autism isn’t a cute quirk you can simply love away; in fact, it’s very much a permanent part of her, so there may be days where you’re frankly frustrated with her.

Her sense of humour can be considered off-putting at times.

She will risk her own life in order to protect you, meaning Vivian would basically shove you away from a moving car and let herself be hit instead.

The older she gets, the more she would become disillusioned by romance, so there may come a point where she would regret being in a relationship, especially with how much hard work it is and how much compromise it requires. Of course, this doesn’t mean she would necessarily stop loving her partner, but she might have lingering doubts and uncertainties over a future with them.

If you’re a man, her parents will likely bug you about having kids and will ask when you’re planning on give them grandchildren.
