🏁 Lando qualified P15 for Sunday's race in Las Vegas (finished P16, upgraded to P15 after)
⏱️ Time: 1m 34.703s on Soft tyres (+1.977s behind Leclerc on Pole)
My strong dislike for the Vegas GP continues with an unfortunate end to Lando's Qualifying here, with a result he did not deserve. Initially, the first two runs he completed put him in the top 3, but laps set by other drivers pushed him further down the grid. He attempted another run, but was clearly blocked by Pérez, which ruined his attempt.
Fortunately, he managed to get another run in, which put him in P3, but again, when he was back in the pits, others set faster times, which put him in P15 with barely a few seconds left of the session. It was here that Stroll just managed to narrowly knock Lando down to P16, thus taking him out in Q1.
This is so far away from representing Lando's ability as a driver. We know at least that he will be placed higher than the P16 he finished in as Stroll, provisionally in P14, has a 5-place grid penalty for overtaking under Yellow Flag conditions in FP3. It's also unknown what penalty Pérez will be given for impeding Lando in Quali, if he even is given one. He certainly deserves a penalty, but it wouldn't be the first or last time the FIA doesn't issue the penalties they should.
We knew this track would be tricky for McLaren, but I have faith that Lando can deliver a strong performance in tomorrow's race and climb positions. But no matter where he finishes, I am always proud of him. Let's go, Lando 🔥
(Edit: Lando finished P16, but after Stroll was given a 5-place grid penalty for overtaking under Yellow Flag conditions, he has been upgraded to P15)

Jenny Vi Pham and her game: Going live

I know it's not Twitter or tik tok but I think people need to know about this. This post is mostly about Jenny's new game even if she didn't wait for this game to be problematic. Also, this post is about Jenny Vi Pham and only her the others did a great job and I hope they got a lot of money!
1) The story in general
In the first place, the story feels rushed, I'm not the best writer but you can tell that Jenny did not do her own recherche about anything for this game starting with how fast the guy gets followers for doing almost nothing to the hanging ending (I'm talking about this in a minute). The whole story is a mix of Needy Girl Overdose ( the fact he wants 1M in a week and he is helped by his partner) and DDLC for its "disturbing" ending. Ok, it's great you take inspiration for your game but it's so similar and made not in a great way that the game get's boring and cringe really fast. Talking about cringe PLEASE stop making the MC act like you and PLEASE stop making the whole game feel like a booktok comment section. Also to finish this first part the relationship between the MC and the guy. The whole time it just feels like the MC controls everything about this little white hair dude it just feels like I'm playing a toxic relationship simulator (talking about the fact that we aren't guiding him for a better streamer career but we are imposing him stuff like "ban her from modding" or even when he have to apologize and the MC literally choose for him and when he say "I don't think it's a great idea" the MC doesn't listen to him and force him). He has 0 personality unless "I'm gonna take my shirt off on stream and I love my girlfriend" is personality to you. Plus the fact that he is sexualized by everybody in the game is just so sad he kinda deserves better.
2)The hanging and homicide ending
Now let's talk about real problematic things. First, the hanging ending: so if you don't know he decides to kill himself because he got bullied on the internet cause he apparently hates people with cancer (omg I wish I wasn't serious rn). So yeah the whole reason why he did this is dumb and it explains why I think the story is rushed but you know maybe before he was mentally unstable and it was the event that finally broke him. Nope, he killed himself just like that, there is no indication that he is feeling bad, it just happened. The way she just killed him was disgusting. Suicide is a very serious topic, normally you get signals of those things, this guy is not killing himself like that. It just feels like the ending was here to just shock people and it did I was shocked because it happened without warning, it was so out of place. I don't really get words to describe this scene cause the picture was very graphic kinda like DDLC but when you play it you know what is going to happen here no and maybe I act like snowflakes but you have to put warnings on those things. Same for the Homicide ending it kinda happened like the hanging ending out of pocket and was very graphic. After playing for a second time normally you get an interaction with the cat (introduced at the start of the story and then forgotten) AND YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT HE SAID?? "yeah I can bring him back if you leave 5,000 rates on itch.io". This whole thing is just crazy to me, you killed him TWO times in the worst way possible (creepypasta writer got competition) and you ask for a good ending if they give good rates... Like what?? when do you think it's ok? You are using his death and his suicide as a way to get reviews and you think it's normal?
3) Her fans and her

So after being shocked about the game I decided to read some reviews and saw people talking about her Twitter. It keeps getting worse. First, the way she mocks her fans is crazy it kinda reminds me of that fan/creator relationship in the Vtuber community "you're a clown to me and you like" type of relation she got with her fans. (some proof)
In the first tweet, she is making her fans looks like fools it's obviously a way to encourage them to give more reviews and that's so weird "he needs you" This is just pure manipulation knowing that her fans are probably young people it just making it worse. Kinda the type of manipulation in the second tweet ngl but here she is bringing her team which kinda tells us that some of her team workers support her way of acting.
this message speaks for itself, disgusting.
She also makes those kind of tweets here again just pure manipulation and making rates on someone suicide

The worst is literally the ED joke like what the hell?? and no one said anything it's so problematic in so many levels. Also again the hypersexualisation of her characters but sadly it's something normal on her twitter.
Let's talk about her fans cause they are also CRAZY. They encourage the hypersexualization of her characters, create fake accounts to make more reviews (which get obviously deleted) and are also encouraged by Jenny. They are also a bunch of creeps in general on itch.io or the discord server (proof from Elduator on Twitter)

ANON YOU JUST GET ME!!!!!! maybe it's because there's no show currently grabbing me by the throat and making me experience vice versa levels of derangement, but these past few weeks I'VE BEEN MISSING MORKDAY SOOO MUCH LIKE IT'S HONESTLY INSANE JUST HOW MUCH I CAN MISS TWO CHARACTERS FROM A 4 MINUTES MOCK TRAILER. literally the only reason i care about the trailer reaching 1M views is because.. well, okay, it's also because jimmysea deserve it, but THE MAIN REASON is because im hoping it will give people the excuse to post some content about last twilight i mean we can't count on jimmysea BUT I KNOW P'AOF HAS BTS PICTURES AND CUT FOOTAGE SOMEWHERE IN HIS PHONE PLEASE I JUST NEED SOME NEWS SOME CONTENT ANYTHING
while we wait for that, though, let me share with you this small scenario i've been thinking of. i've mentioned it before, actually, so it's not exactly new, but i LOVE the idea of day hanging out in mork's garage while mork is working on some car, just the two of them talking and bickering about the silliest things. and i know that since the very beginning mork would be like 'if you're gonna stay here at least help me out' and use that as an excuse to make day touch all the tools he usually uses, describing them in details and teaching day their names and what they're for so he can ask day to hand them to him while he's working. at first day would probably tell him something like 'just take them yourself, im only gonna slow you down', but mork would reply that he is in no rush and patiently wait for day to find the right tool and pass it to him, until eventually it becomes a routine
the first time namtan's character shows up while day is there she almost does a double take because the place somehow looks so much brighter and livelier, and so does mork, which is why she takes exactly 0.2 seconds to clock into all the yearning happening there. she and day become fast friends and they usually just spend their time trying to embarrass mork as much as they can, until one day, after she's already left, mork's debt collectors show up. AND LOOK LISTEN maybe it's too dramatic and cliche, idk, but like!!!! the horror the desperation the fear the worry coming from both of them as mork does anything to protect day and day tries as best as he can to help mork but to no avail. in the end day manages to call the police which makes the debt collectors leave, and what's left is mork feeling guilty and day feeling impotent and the two of them trying to put themselves together: mork would insist on taking day home right away but day would stubbornly stand his ground and start touching mork to check for cuts and bruises, so mork just relents and lets day's fingers wander on his skin to put bandaids wherever makes mork hiss in pain. and they're gonna have to talk about what happened, sooner or later, but for now knowing the other is safe is enough

Well why not? Even if you think it's not helpful and might embarass artist. I don't get what's embarrassing in this cause it's not like they're demanding him to not date or shit. Their demands are clear, they're only asking about LC's RIAA certification cause if jk can get it done even tho jm's was first one to sold out 1M then why can't they do that for jm?
Then next demand is Spotify split which idt will be useful for now but who knows it might be helpful for future use and if the company can do that for TXT and New jeans so why not their one of the biggest artist??? Why does he gets different treatment in a bad way than others?

Hype won’t listen or respond to the hashtags and emails so maybe the trucks will work (I doubt it) I’m glad they did it and i hope jimin is aware of the situation so that he can demand the certification himself
I totally do empathize and understand why trucks were sent. I think that HYBE is deserving of criticism for a lot of things in CH2 and there are moments where their silence is especially unforgivable to me, such as the billboard sales deletion. I hate that they waited until the night before Haegeum to update the rules on their store despite knowing we were trying to keep LC charting (I don’t think they had it figured out right away, but I also don’t think they came to whatever conclusion they did coincidentally the night before Haegeum). Also that Weverse article where they uplifted MW was absolute trash and they deserved to get dragged for it.
Part of the issue for me is that I think there are plenty of legitimate concerns and complaints (such as HYBE not even sending most of the members music to radio) that the fandom refuses to talk about (or straight up lies about) at all these days, and it just festers and opinions become more extreme. I also don’t think the statement k-PJMs released was bad. A lot of it really was just asking for clarity over certain issues without demanding anything. Also I think this is about a million times better than sending trucks over outfits and hair styling or because he worked with female dancers. But I guess for me I still don’t think enough of the things they listed in that specific statement warranted sending trucks over when it’s such an extreme thing to do and probably very embarrassing for Jimin (sorry this is so long, I just want to explain my stance here 🙏)
I don’t think BH is responsible for the Spotify split considering the same thing happened to TXT (their song was combined for around four days and then split same as like LC, also NewJeans do not have any combined songs). Spotify just seems messy and inconsistent sometimes but generally multi language songs do not seem to be regularly combined. Spotify also has errors all the time on their end as well and I’m constantly seeing weirdness with credits and similar things - I don’t think it’s a Jimin specific issue. The only evidence I’ve seen pinning it on BH was some random chat log which is a really flimsy thing to base such a heavy accusation on. BH absolutely does need to step up with how they manage their Spotify accounts though. I can’t understand why they’re so inconstant with songs getting added to the This is BTS playlist, last I checked Taehyung still doesn’t have a This is V playlist, and I feel like they should have given all the members better playlisting in general. The way they run those accounts just seems so sloppy to me sometimes. But I don’t think BH should have been expected to speak on the LC split as we know this isn’t even something irregular that happens with Spotify (recently happened to Jennie and TXT and even Post Malone had an issue with combined streams on Spotify). It was an awful thing to experience which is why I think we feel like it warrants some kind of statement, but taking a step back I can personally understand why there wasn’t one. I don't think it would have hurt at all for them to have cleared this up with fans though (I remember they said something about JKs YouTube) and I wish they communicated better with us, but obviously this is the consequence of that.
My most controversial take is that I think a lot of fans blow the CD restock issue out of proportion. The only strong argument for them to restock imo would have been to help with the BBMAs, but I honestly don’t think that’s a good enough reason to demand it either. Jimin also had that nasty hit piece written about him from billboard where they targeted and smeared him for the sales of LC specifically. This is just me reaching, but I could theoretically understand why BH might not have wanted to aggressively pursue a sales award after that. But there was also just no guarantee Jimin would have been able to win that award and imo it would have been a lot of effort and resources that could go to his future project instead (because he’s definitely working on something!). And I definitely don’t think it would have made sense for them to bother restocking LC to help us randomly rechart months later. LC would have reentered in the 90s and fallen out as soon as CDs were gone. It would have been cool, but I can’t see why the company should be expected to restock for that reason. I can see why fans want restocks and I still think they should have, but I don’t think it’s the height of neglect or sabotage like some make it out to be either (I’m not upset about them getting dragged for it though, they should know how it looks). And obviously tkk had more CDs considering they didn’t have DC2 store. I’m just waiting to see how his next single is treated concerning the CDs.
Now I’m in total agreement about the RIAA situation. Unless I’m missing something, it’s honestly pretty indefensible to me. Even if it wasn’t malicious, it was incredibly stupid. By doing all that for JK (obviously done purposefully to give him a boost during his promotions and to help legitimize his standing in the US) they acknowledged that it was something worth doing and publicizing. So the fact that they didn’t do the same thing for one of their other artists is just a bad look imo, it’s just blatantly uneven treatment and puts more of their actions into question. Plus highlighting Jungkook as the first feels so intellectually dishonest when he’s only the first because of their own unequal treatment (although I do think Euphoria & L&R qualified earlier this year). But I’m not an expert on this subject so if there’s an explanation out there that makes sense with this, I would genuinely love to hear it.
As far as protecting him better, yeah I can’t really speak on that. I will say the mail situation was really upsetting and the company seemed very at fault. I didn’t like how they handled it and it’s scary someone managed to get a hold of his personal information like that and it’s scary they might have employees who have malicious intent working with them, but it’s also a situation I’m very much on the outside of. I just don’t think it’s a great idea to bring public attention to that at all. I also think Jimin is probably aware of those forums to an extent (especially after what happened with his mail), so all I can do is hope that he and his team are staying on top of it and report anything serious I see quietly to BH.
I do think it’s good to keep HYBE accountable and on their toes and I hope they see our complaints about certain things and do better next time. But I also think some people don’t realize how insanely embarrassing it would be to have those giant trucks with your personal business being literally broadcast to every single one of your coworkers and the general public with loud music blaring in the background. I also just don’t think it’s our place to speak for Jimin. I think we can complain about things that impact us as fans, but I can’t be mad on his behalf, if that makes sense, like I don’t want to be presumptuous enough to try and speak for him. And also I just really don’t want Jimin to think his fans are unhappy or take any of this to heart or feel bad about anything, I would literally die to think I made him sad. Even though I think this whole solo thing is a learning experience for him and it’s okay to make mistakes and receive feedback about them, this is just a bit on the extreme side. I don’t want him to know how miserable some of his fans are and to blame himself 😭. Anyways, thank you if you read this whole thing, I just do take it very seriously because I love Jimin a lot and most opinions I come across are one extreme or the other these days.

Verstappen gave it everything en route to maiden Monaco pole as he hopes to avoid race-day chaos
Max Verstappen expressed his satisfaction after beating Fernando Alonso and Charles Leclerc to pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix during a hotly-contested qualifying session in the Principality.
Saturday’s grid-deciding hour saw the Red Bull, Aston Martin and Ferrari trio battle it out for P1, with the reigning double world champion ultimately coming out on top to bag his first Monte Carlo pole.

Speaking after the session, Verstappen admitted that his final lap of 1m 11.365s was a tricky one to put together, but it nonetheless gave him just under a tenth of a second in hand over nearest rival Alonso.
“Yeah, I’m very happy,” he said. “We knew that this was going to be a little bit of a struggle for us this weekend, to get everything together. Yesterday wasn’t the best start, but I think we kept on improving and kept on getting better.
Verstappen could not hide his delight after securing pole in Monaco
“In qualifying, you need to go all out and risk it all. My first sector wasn’t ideal on my final lap, I think Turn 1 was a bit cautious, but then I knew I was behind, so the last sector I gave it everything I had and clipped a few barriers… But of course, very happy to be on pole here for the first time.”
While he has the all-important track position for race day, Verstappen remains wary of the various dramas that can occur around Monaco’s tight and twisty streets – calling on Red Bull “to keep it clean and calm”.

The man has called Christianity scientific as a compliment and atheism a religion as an insult. I recently visited his ark encounter and creation museum(not by choice) and oh do I have things to say. He believes that humans lived with dinosaurs and that during the garden of Eden days everything was a herbivore. He even had a video of a Tyrannosaurus rex eating what appeared to be a giant watermelon. A trex was designed to eat meat just look at its teeth. In the creation museum they had a fucking penguin next to a toucan in the garden of eden display. The only argument they have against evolution is that you can’t mix 2 completely different species. That’s not what evolution is. According to them all bears come from a common ancestor though they don’t use that term. They describe all bear species as being the same thing since they can interbreed. Then on that same sign they said because some zoos keep polar bears in conditions that are too hot that they can survive in heat like other bears. They have a 4 inch thick layer of blubber.
Then they had a whole pro life exhibit with videos of an “abortion survivor” as if it’s some kind of heinous act. The whole thing was meant to scare people into not getting/not supporting an abortion. Then they had the audacity to talk about people who have had abortions as if they where wrong and needed to seek forgiveness.
They said the spiral shape of our galaxy means it couldn’t be older than 6k years. They also said that everyone deserves to die because we are all sinners. They had fucking pictures of things like the burning twin towers and starving Jews in the holocaust up as examples. They just use scientific terms in the wrong way to confuse the gullible. The amount mental hoops Ken Ham and his supporters have to go through to convince themselves that this shit is true is astonishing.
Not only that but Ken Ham promised high returns to Williamstown. He claimed they’d get 1m visitors in 1 year but only got 800k in 2 years. He got 62m from them as well as money from the state of Kentucky. Yet he wants to get out of paying taxes because AIG is non profit. It’s not even on the side of the interstate with the businesses. Even Christian paleontologists don’t agree with him. It’s just plain lies that he’s convinced himself are true. Keep in mind he has a bachelors in biology. I guess he fell asleep in class.

Edit: It turns out a lot of the information I had given out was false. I will be making a report later tonight explaining the truth, but in short the voting was fake and Jensen will not be receiving an award. I would also like to say I never intended on having all Brazilian fans attacked, I was mainly trying to call out people I thought were being disrespect to Jensen/Dean. I never meant to spread false news but I didn't check my sources as best as I should've and for that I am truly sorry.
SUPERNATURAL NEWS OF THE DAY: Toxic Brazil Fans Attack!
So get this (😉), there's this award show in Brazil called Séries Brasil. It does a variety of awards, but it mainly has to do with TV shows. Their account is @SeriesBrasil on Twitter. Now Supernatural just so happened to have multiple nominations and wins, including Misha Collins winning Best Actor for his portrayal on Castiel. That is a great accomplishment and I'm so proud of him. But then we have another award...
The award show decided to have an award called Worst Character. Considering this is a real and popular award show in Brazil (with 1M follows on Twitter), this shouldn't even be an award in the first place. Award shows are suppose to be about celebrating the good, not belittling the bad. Anyways, the results came in and they are SHOCKING:
Dean Winchester won in a SICKENING landslide. Now mind you, this is a REAL award show, not just a silly award show made up by a fan. Which means that
Jensen Ackles will be sent this award.
That is extremely messed up that these so called fans would take part in such a cruel thing. Now I'm not gonna say Dean Winchester is a perfect character who did nothing wrong. He is flawed and has made some questionable choices at times, but Dean also sacrificed his own wellbeing time and time again to save the world. He has inspired many people to keep on fighting even during the darkest of times. On top of that, Jensen Ackles just finished working on the show after 15 years. Not to mention he cares a lot about Dean and considers Dean his best friend. This is such a HUGE slap in the face for all the work Jensen put into Supernatural and it's even worse that a lot of the same people who voted for him claim to be fans of the show. If you actively HATE on Sam, Dean, Cas, or their actors, you are NOT a real fan of the show. It's one thing to disagree with certain things the characters/actors do, it's another thing to hate on them. I am so disgusted by this behavior and this award should have never been a thing in the first place.
I'm personally asking everyone who reads this to reblog this because this is such a messed up thing to do and Jensen deserves better than that, and I hope more fans can become aware of this situation.
My idea is that we should trend the hashtag #WhyILoveDean and #WhyILoveJensen and talk about why we love Dean/Jensen and how they have impacted our lives on Twitter to show that the Brazilian "fans" do NOT represent the SPN fandom. Shadow & Bone, The Crows & everyone's complaints
So now that I'm on my 2nd watch of the show, I wanna speak on certain things about the Crows in the show, which have made many people mad and some of which I didn't like either..but which I can still see as tying up with the canon.
⚠ Spoilers for both the Books & Show ⚠
Here we go:
• Kaz accepting the 1M Kruge job
Now ofc we all remember the book Kaz who bargained with a Mercher and raised his prize to 30M. But Leigh, Eric & the Crows Cast has been pointing out since day one that these aren't the same people we know from what we've read. This is a sort of prequel to those characters and just them figuring out their dynamic with each other.
Remember, the book opens with Inej saying Kaz is a feared man in the Barrel without hesitation, she introduces herself as the Wraith who can't be stopped even by gravity on certain days and Jesper as the amazing sharpshooter and charmer.
Now as a new reader, I found that chapter sort of funny because how are you claiming all this without showing me their process of becoming these formidable people? But as I read through, the thought that inded these are 6 dangerous outcasts, settled in my mind.
But before that 30M job, they must've had many smaller conquests too right? Ones which slowly built-up their experience, confidence and relationships.
Since this is a prequel, consider this as another day in their Barrel life, as them going on another of their regular jobs. And just think of this as a learning experience for Kaz. That its the dangers that they got into travelling to a different country that made Kaz learn his and his crew's worth. And prepared him for the negotiations he did with Jan Van Eck in SoC.
• Kaz brought to his knees by Pekka
While Kaz being bested by two mere lackies of Pekka was kinda annoying to me as well, why do we believe that Pekka can't harm him or the others? PEKKA ROLLINS WAS THE BARREL KING BEFORE KAZ.
Remember on the Ferolind when Oomen tells them he was ordered by Pekka Rollins to take down the Dregs? They all were shocked and somewhat worried. And it was brought up later on when Jesper said they were going against Pekka Rollins and Wylan explains for Matthias sake how Pekka is not to be messed with.
It was only Kaz who wasn't concerned at all, who consoles Jesper by saying Pekka is just another Barrel Boss.
And what were we even expecting Kaz to do when Pekka brought him to his knees? Didn't Kaz express in the books enough how a simple beating won't make it up. He promised to take his revenge in small steps— building up his gang, stealing customers from Pekka's clubs, etc. BRICK BY BRICK.
So Kaz can be brought down to his knees too. And Pekka can easily do it if he wishes so. But no one wants outright Gang Wars; Pekka because he is far more experienced and knows when and where to put pressure or when to let go of a job. He even advices Kaz to forget Inej and drop the idea of going against a Mercher in SoC last chapter, because it is a foolish thing to do.
And Kaz wouldn't want gang wars because he knows the Dregs aren't big enough to face the whole of Dime Lions. Besides he already plans to bring down Pekka brick by brick.
But no one threatens Kaz Brekker, so consider this "on his knees" scene as a set up and another reason for Kaz to strike back and pay back tenfold.
It will also serve as an amazing parallel if we get to see him make Pekka beg on his knees.
• Kaz and Inej are too obvious
Are they? Haven't they always been like that when in each other's company or when around the other Crows? So of course they're expressing alot in front of Jesper.
But note that there are was no incident in the show where Kaz expressed his slowly developing feelings in front of his enemies, namely Pekka. In fact all Kanej moments happen only between them or in Jesper's presence. So there's nothing wrong with that.
Are they too obvious? No. As I said before and as we all know Kaz and Inej ALWAYS share deep conversations whenever together even in books— "i will have you without armor", "i would come for you", etc.
So show Kaz telling Inej "no saints have watched over me like you.." was not much different from their canon alone conversations.
Have they shown too much already? NOT AT ALL.
We only saw Kaz putting the Crow Club on collateral but his reason behind it wasn't shown at all.
We only saw Inej kill a man to protect Kaz. We don't know why she chose to kill for him. You can't immediately translate that to love. It can very well be considered her trying to pay back because he saved her from the Menagerie.
Remember in Crooked Kingdom Chapter 4, Inej says: "their lives had been a series of rescues ever since, a string of debts that they never tallied as they saved each other again and again."
So consider these moments as their endless back and forth of saving each other.
*Another thing to note in the show is when Inej gave her knives to Kaz. She says: "as a friend once said".
She has started considering Kaz a "friend" and she knows he feels the same way even though he won't say it. They're only starting to open up and give way to friendship. And not just Kanej, Jesper too.
People can care for and have each other's backs without it having a romantic aspect. The show gave the viewers a peek at what Kanej are willing to do for each other and showed that there's obviously sparks flying but no clear motto. We still didn't see Kanej's first encounter at the Menagerie or Kaz staring at Inej sitting on his window. These are just small moments to set up the ship.
• The Crows only there for comic relief
NO. I don't agree to this at all.
I'm gonna go back to SoC Duology. Now we know both the books have a sort of a dark setting. But both of these books also had hilarious moments.
Right in Chapter 2 of SoC, Jesper joking about spelling with his bullets and Kaz joining in on the joke. There's also the "this whole shoot me thing is starting to worry me". Inej & Kaz's banter about "greed is your god".
Almost every chapter had atleast one moment that was either comical or to lighten the mood or just straight up banter between the Crows. And all those moments were all always entagled with serious ones.
The show did exactly the same. We were given their crime life because they were after all, on a job to capture and sell off a person. But the show lightened it by adding the Crows banter and certain comical moments. And for the finishing touches, they sprinkled in some vulnerability.
• Kaz not being ruthless enough
I AGREE. I DO.
What the fuck is wrong with us all wanting a sinister man being ruthless? 😂
There's not much I can say about this but that even in books, Kaz isn't always ruthless.
He is mostly giving out orders and scheming schemes. But in those rare moments in the book when we get to see Dirtyhands, we are given a view into some really intense moments.
When Kaz dislocates a man's arm in the Ice Court Prison, he himself admits it that he didn't do it as much to make himself look intimidating to the other criminals but more to remind himself that he can do it, that he isn't some helpless man.
The only such thing we got in the show was the brief scene between Kaz and that Inferni where he had that scary look on his face as he crushed that inferni's arm and slammed his face.
WE DID DESERVE MORE OF THAT.
But maybe it was a good moment to set him up for more violence in the coming seasons. *crosses fingers*
• The Crows not stealing from Alina
Okay whilst Inej wouldn't do it, Jesper may only consider, Kaz would definitely do it!
Remember Kaz kazually conversing with Van Eck and Pekka but also stealing their stuff in those moments with his slight of hands?
Yeah, the showrunners had a perfect chance at the end to do it but they missed it 😐
This is probably the one thing that I'm unable to settle with 🤧
So..that's it!
I don't want everyone to agree with me but I hope everyone can be a little less aggressive and more kind to the show. It was still amazing, if not a proper adaptation then at least good as a standalone show. And the showrunners already did say "high budget fanfiction"

not to sound dumb but like i’ve truly never understood why people are so adamant abt wayv not being nct?? Like why is it such a bad thing if they are? Im just genuinely curious bc i havent seen anyone explain why
sm is notorious for the mistreatment of their chinese idols, and this is no different in wayv’s mistreatment. if sm cared about wayv they would not lack promotions past the few magazines they have been featured in. yes it is content, but they did not sign up to be magazine models, they signed up to be idols. if sm truly wants them to be nct they can start by proper recognition of wayv and wayv members as a whole. people do not want to stream on qqmusic because it is confusing and people have said ‘chinese is scary’ but actively navigate through korean websites. point blank, that is sinophobia. when people only choose to support wayv if they are considered nct, it is very evident that they do not stan wayv nor do they pay attention to their talent. if wayv was added to nct we would once again have to watch as members get pushed to the side and made as back up dancer, and people would not care for them past the interactions they had with their fav.
i would also like to say that i have no doubt that wayv was initially supposed to be nct china, they were marketed as such, but it did not turn out that way, and no amount of arguing is going to change wayv’s mistreatment and the way a majority of fans who want ot21 fail to ignore this.
i think i should break this down into sections for individual members mistreatment because that is the easiest way. (obviously some members are going to have longer sections) it also should be noted that there are a lot of people more vocal about this on twitter and a lot of the people who want ot21 simply do not support wayv on the platforms that matter to them. there is a lot of blatant sinophobia laced within how they try to defend themselves, and i do not see why it makes them so angry for wayv to not be considered nct. honestly, i do not have a probably with ot21zens as long as they do support wayv the way they claim they do, i am not asking them to love wayv as much as they love one of the other units, because i think it is normal for people to have favorites and this is seen with the distinction between 127 and dream, but to support them on the chinese platforms that matter to wayv’s success. that being said, i can break down the ways that wayv members would not and did not benefit from being classified as nct, as well as their erasure from the brand entirely and the way fans view the members. (mostly seen with winwin) i am sure i missed things, but these are all the things that really stick out to me.
kun: i think his is a case that is more clear because he has been a member of nct since 2016 with the debut of without u chinese version and his appearance on nct life solidifies his involvement with it. however, this is not something that has lasted. after that debut he was thrown back into the basement and quite honeslty viewed as a babysitter for the rookies at the time (jungwoo and lucas). when nct 2018 happened and he finally got to ‘debut’ he was featured in one song on a full album, and literally got no lines and very little center time. he was treated so bad that people who didnt stan nct thought that he was a backup dancer. he went to smtown but sat backstage for a majoirty of the concert. if we fast forward to his proper debut with wayv and the title of leader, we see that there comes a problem with the way people viewed him. i have seen countless people say that he is not wayv’s leader because taeyong is, as if we have seen taeyong properly and thoroughly interact with the other wayv member. kun has been there to support wayv members as nothing less than a leader, seen through him comforting them, but also accepting awards. yangyang has expressed that kun is someone who sacrifices a lot to keep him - and the other members - safe and happy. there are people that continue with kun mom jokes even though he has expressed his discomfort with it, and since the debut of wayv, he has not been mentioned by sm. he very clearly gained nothing from being in nct, and continues to have ‘fans’ who undermine his talent. wayv’s inclusion into nct would only result in him functioning as a background member as kun stans / weishennies are the only ones who remain really angry about the matter.
winwin: this case is honestly the one i have the biggest problem with because he was quite honestly a founder of the nct brand. he was there for nct 127′s debut, but was erased from the group by the time they were given proper - well deserved - time to shine. if you have read reports you will know that winwin was stripped of his teenagedom, and his education was hindered in a way he openly did not want. he got little to no lines in absolutely every nct 127 song, and that still is a problem within wayv. sm ent turned down numerous acting opportunities for him. there are so many people who claim it is okay because he is ‘happier in wayv’ but that is so insulting. of course he has a bond with wayv, but to make assumptions about his friendships and speak for him on a matter that is very clearly deeper than what fans see is so insensitive. there was a video of him that shows how he was so upset about not promoting with 127, people need to stop assuming the friendships of people they stan. you do not know them and you do not know what they are thinking and you do not see every interaction they have. not to mention, he was not allowed on 127′s world tour when he was doing nothing, there is no reason he should have gotten the treatment he did by sm ent. people who want him back in 127 want him there not because of how it is a place he belongs, but because they want interactions. i guess this speaks more on his mistreatment, but also how overall, if wayv really was nct 127, why did they erase winwin from the history of it. not to mention with kick it, they kicked out the only chinese member before doing a concept based around chinese culture.
ten: his case gets different because while he did have to take leave, there was a knee injury involved with it. i think a lot of fans have issue with the way he is treated by sm, not only as an nct member, but also as a member of superm. while he did get more opportunities with nct 2018 then kun did, he has still been mistreated in ways. his name has been mispelled on official logo even though it is literally three letters long, his face has been cropped off of official websites and only when fans get mad does sm fix it. all in all, his connection to the nct brand has given him nothing. people who claim to be ot21 and decide to ‘actively support him’ do nothing but perpetuate jokes that are very outdated and over obsess on ships. there are so many shippers that fail to see ten as his own person.
lucas: he is a member that i think also does not gain anything more so from superm than nct as seen with how he lacks lines, but the way nctzens treat him is a main reason him viewed as nct angers me. throughout 2018 and even since his inclusion in wayv and superm, people view him as stupid. they make fun of him for the amount that he switches between languages, and many only pay attention to them when it comes to his looks. there are a lot of people who claim he lacks talent. his inclusion back into nct would result more in peoples wish for interaction and less in actual support for him.
xiaohenyang are going to be lumped together because the simple matter of the fact for them is that they did not ever get introduced as nct member. unlike the previously mentioned there has been no recognition of them as nct members from sm ent and sm ent classifies them entirely as wayv. a lot of people near debut for wayv - and their introduction as rookies - only stanned them because they looked like nct members. i had to sit through people claiming that yangyang was a ‘bargain/walmart version of mark’ and making claims of a nationality that he doesnt have. (yangyang is . not . german . he only lived there for a portion of his life, and saying he is german would be like saying jaehyun is american). yangyang’s solo asteroid as well as his recent release (dance cover and mixtape with kun) have been neglected as people fail to realize he is easily sm’s next ace. asteroid hasnt even reached 1M views yet, and i have talked to people who want wayv to be nct that did not even know he had a solo song. hendery is another member viewed as ‘stupid’ and used as meme by people who can not tell him apart from ten while also claiming to stan wayv. and the same thing is seen by people who make passive comments about xiaojun, spelling his name wrong and pointing him out through the few times they have asked him about nct 127 and he has responded. no support is shown to him about his vocals or his predebut work, and there is mistreatment in the way all of these rookies debuted in a group that was later left sitting doing nothing.

Gary, definitely. He’s a sweetheart but makes mistakes, he’s hot and seems like a lad at times but he has hidden depths, the love that he has for his nan is the cutest thing for me especially because I can relate (and I miss my grandma so much), he’s playful and loyal and amazing and stupid and everything. His route has a little bit of everything: doubt, impatience, angst, drama, love, banter, good times... I just love it tbh.
4. Season 1 or Season 2?
Season 2, somehow I’m not tired of playing it over and over, unlike Season 1. I’ve only played Season 1 twice (the first time I loved it but the second time I only wanted the gems for season 2)

8. Do you have an unpopular opinion about the game/characters?
Okay, here we go:
Lottie: I have a love/hate relationship with her, even though Gary is my favorite and she’s a pain in my ass during his route. I really think that the writers did her dirty. She had some character growth. I understand why some people don’t see it as growth, but I really think she’s a great character (in terms of her place in the story, not because I think she’s a good person or anything). She’s easy to judge but there has to be a reason as to why she is the way that she is. And maybe knowing more about her background would’ve helped us to understand her (again, I’m not saying that everything’s forgiven and forgotten).
At first I didn’t think Felix was that bad. Maybe because I was busy getting annoyed with Arjun.
I don’t think Rocco deserved to be treated the way he was treated. It is a game to get to know people and flirt with them. And yeah, he went behind everyone’s back and chatted every girl but the latter is literally the reason why they all are there. Idk, idk.
9. Which islander are you most like?
A weird combination between Gary and Chelsea. And a little bit of Kassam. I enjoy staying at home and chilling but I also get FOMO (even though at the end of the day idc and I still stay at home), I don’t care about drama but sometimes I cause without knowing I’m doing it because I’m a very chill person and most things don’t bother me but bother others... And I’m unbothered by everything, use sarcasm a lot and I’m pretty annoyed about everything all the time.
10. Most and Least favorite islander of all time and why?
Most: Gary; he’s literally the sweetest guy ever and he’s so layered and so amazing and he gets judged by the way he looks or acts at first but then you get to meet him and he’s SO wonderful. I also love Tim, Bobby, Jake, Chelsea, Priya, Rohan, and Talia.
Least: Erikah and Hope, probably.
Erikah; I haven’t played S1 that much and I can’t remember exactly why I don’t like her, but I know that I don’t.
Hope; do I even need to spell it out? She’s the worst. She’s rude, manipulative, toxic and doesn’t care about anyone or anything (this last is not exactly a bad thing imo cause you can car about whatever you want, just don’t try to come across as a good girl when you’re clearly not). The way she treats ANYONE who dares to look at Noah’s direction, even on day one, is just horrendous. You are in a game that invites you to flirt with other people, to get to know other people and change partners if that’s what you want. If you don’t want that, then why participate in it? She only talks about Noah and that’s it; when people try to talk about anything else, she says something rude and kills the conversation dead. The way she treats Priya (or MC or both) at CA is beyond awful; how she says that she and Noah are the ‘only good couple’ is beyond disrespectful; the way she talks about Lucas when Noah is literally by her side and then criticizes Chelsea for saying something along those lines is beyond hypocritical; how she doesn’t let Noah think for himself and manipulates him for her own interests is beyond despicable.
A lot of people are ‘bad’ or ‘do bad things’ in this game, but they’re true to themselves adn others and they show their true colors and accept them and try to develop from them, but these two? They don’t. And we’re supposed to be okay with that. Well, I’m not.
11. Which Islander would hit 1M followers first?
Bobby, definitely Bobby. Or Lucas. And Priya. And MC, obviously.
12. Which Islander would land a major brand deal?
Priya, because duh and Chelsea, because duh, too. Also, Lucas and Bobby and probably Gary.
13. Do you think any of the s2 islanders smoke? If so, who?
I haven’t thought about this, but I think Lottie would. Also Blake. Probably Shannon.

Aaah, I love these two. Here’s an opening of a story I started in the spring of 2018 when Hallsy was having his Hart-winning season. Should really finish this at some point -- that season deserved it!
Note that, of course, this is NOT finished. It would not end here!
It’s just a dumb bet.
Not even a bet. It was just a thing Ebs said once, at the end of their second season together. Whits had gone out and left two six-packs in the fridge, and like, they weren’t going to not make him regret that, and also they’d just missed the playoffs again, so they got super drunk and lay around on the couch talking about Ebs’ thirty-four-goal season.
“It was sick, man, sick,” Taylor kept saying, and Ebs kept laughing and betting Taylor stupid things, like which of them could stack more beer bottles on top of each other, except neither of them could stack any because they were drunk.
“I’ll, like, never score that many goals,” Taylor said, and Ebs, because he was an awesome bro, said, “Yeah, you will, of course you will,” and Taylor said, “But, like, it’s hard,” meaning goals and, like, everything else, and Ebs said, “It’s not hard, you just need the right incentive.”
“What do you mean, incentive?” Taylor asked. Words were hard when you were that drunk.
Ebs rolled an empty beer bottle across the floor toward him. “You know. Incentive. Maybe you don’t have the right one yet. Like…like, you get thirty goals in one season, and I’ll blow you.”
Taylors jaw dropped open. “You would not,” he said after like thirty seconds of not being able to speak.
“’Course not.” And then, just as Taylor’s heart was going back to its normal speed: “’Cause you’ll never get thirty goals,” Ebs said, and he was off, cackling like a maniac.
“Oh, fuck you!” Taylor said, and then they wrestled for a while so that when Whits came home the floor was strewn with empty beer bottles and puddles from the ones they hadn’t quite finished.
So it wasn’t even a real bet. Just a thing Ebs said that one time, when they were practically kids. And, okay, maybe Taylor thought about it a few times in the years after that, like when he was jerking off sometimes, but that was before Ebs moved out to be with Lauren. And then Taylor got traded and Ebs got engaged and Ebs got traded and Ebs got married and everything’s different now.
And then Taylor gets thirty goals.

He’s not gonna lie and say it doesn’t go through his head after the game. He’s talking to the media, and it sucks because they lost, but still, thirty goals, that’s awesome, yeah, he’s happy to be able to contribute to the team as much as he can, no, he didn’t quite see himself here last season, but it’s something he’s always wanted—and it crosses his mind, just a blip, that conversation with Ebs. Not enough for him to still be thinking about it a minute later.
He thinks about it again, though, when he gets the text from Ebs. Everyone and their mom is texting him tonight—literally: he hears from Ebs’ mom and Davo’s mom and Nico’s mom and his own, obviously, and Ebs’ text is in the mix, just a WOOOOOT with random emojis that Taylor thinks are probably trying to be vaguely insulting. Then Ebs texts him again that night when he’s going to bed, when everything’s calmed down: we shld have hallsyebs day soon! to celebrate, and Taylor starts typing back something about his schedule, and then it hits him like a bolt of lightning or whatever—what if Ebs remembers?
There’s no way that’s what he’s saying. Ebs isn’t, like, lying in bed with fucking Lauren on the other pillow (the left one; Ebs is always on the right) texting Taylor to meet up for a blow job. Or—on the road; Taylor’s pretty sure the Isles are traveling right now. But still. Taylor’s been on enough road trips with Ebs to know that he doesn’t sneak around. The only times Taylor ever saw Ebs hook up was when he and Lauren were off-again. And maybe there were hookups Taylor didn’t know about—Ebs definitely didn’t know about a whole bunch of his hookups—but Taylor doesn’t think so. Ebs doesn’t like secrets.
So he texts Ebs his availability, even though probably they won’t have time for anything until the off-season anyway. He likes that Ebs wanted to, though. They used to have HallsyEbs days sometimes in Edmonton, after Ebs moved out and they didn’t see each other much outside the rink and Ebs said he didn’t want Taylor to pine for him or whatever so he’d come over and play video games and eat ice cream and other stuff Lauren probably didn’t like as much. Sometimes Ebs would be quiet at first, and Taylor would ask if he and Lauren were fighting, and Ebs would say no. Then after a while he’d tell Taylor all about it: how she wasn’t speaking to him, or how she was really great but he just wasn’t sure, and Taylor would make encouraging noises. Then a few days later he’d show up in the locker room all smiles at tell Taylor that Lauren said to thank him for whatever he’d said, that it had really helped, even though Taylor never said all that much. He was never surprised that Lauren knew they’d talked about it, though. Ebs really hated secrets.
Taylor doesn’t hear as much about their fights this year, if they’re having any. He and Ebs text a lot but it’s mostly about hockey shit. Ebs called him when he got traded, and they were both really excited to be in the same part of the country, but they don’t actually see each other aside from games. NHL schedules.
Which is why Taylor’s not surprised when it turns out they don’t have any overlapping availability before their game against each other on the thirty-first. that super sucks, Ebs texts. But they decide that Ebs will stay over at Taylor’s that night, since the Devils aren’t flying to Montreal until the next day, and Ebs sends him a text that’s ninety percent ice cream emojis. Taylor’s grinning when he falls asleep.
He’s super not expecting anything at all. He and Ebs have hung out after a bunch of games this year, and it’s great to catch up and shit, but it’s also super different. Before when they hung out at a bar or whatever it felt like of like Ebs was an extension of himself: like there were all the other guys, and then there was him and Ebs, operating on a different level. Even after Ebs moved out it felt like that. Now it’s more like a normal friend he doesn’t see very often. Like, it’s Ebs, so it’s still better, but…not the same.
So he’s, like, a little more excited about this time, but not really. Not a lot.
The Devils kill the Isles, obviously, and Ebs looks really bummed but still gives Taylor a patented Ebby hug when they meet up downstairs. Those haven’t changed. Ebs has always been really good at hugging: he, like, makes your body his own and just wraps himself around it and lots of hockey guys are strong but most of them don’t really apply themselves to hugs like Ebby does. Sometimes Taylor thinks Ebs is giving him new bruises, but it’s always worth it.
“Ice cream?” Ebs says, and he sounds really hopeful about it. Like Taylor would ever say no.
“Let me check what’s open,” he says, thumbing at his phone like he didn’t already look.
They end up at a Baskin Robbins that’s walking distance from the arena. “I don’t know, is this safe?” Ebs asks, smirking.
Taylor jostles him with his shoulder. “Newark is, like, just as safe as New York City.”
“Um, I play in Brooklyn,” Ebs says. “I don’t know what you get up to in your big cities. With your drugs and your violence and your—”
“You got checked by two-hundred-pound guys carrying sticks tonight,” Taylor says.
“Yeah, and some of them were you,” Ebs says, narrowing his eyes, and then they’re the ones who are dangers to the passers-by, trying to knock each other down on the sidewalk.
It’s really good. It feels more like old times than it has in a while. Maybe because they’re eating ice cream on dinky little chairs, measuring to see who ended up with more. Ebs gets black raspberry, which is heresy, but he still lets Taylor have a taste. It’s actually not bad.
They’re having such a good time that Taylor doesn’t even think about the thing, which is how it used to be, too: mostly he’d think about Ebs that way when Ebs wasn’t there. It felt safer that way. When he was with Ebs he was busy being with Ebs, and if he wanted to be with him more and in other ways it was easy to squash it down and distract himself with the Ebs who was right in front of him. It was only be later when he was alone that he would shiver and feel sick with how much he wanted the rest of it.
They finish the ice cream before the Baskin Robbins closes at eleven and walk back to Taylor’s car, Ebs asking him if he feels good to drive, he did have a lot of chocolate sprinkles, and Taylor asking him if he’s cold, does he need an extra bunnyhug to put on, and then Ebs trying to dunk him in a trash can. They’re a little quieter in the car: the sugar rush wearing off, the game weariness setting in. Taylor finds his left leg jiggling against the wheel as he drives.
“Guest room made up?” Ebs asks as they go into the condo.
“Yeah,” Taylor says, and maybe it’s the last of the sugar crash, but this weird flat feeling spreads over him: that’s it, end of night. But Ebs doesn’t go into the guest room. He collapses on the living room couch.
Taylor goes over and kicks at his legs a little, and Ebs looks sleepily up at him. “Too tired. Can’t go to bed.”
“Too tired from losing,” Taylor says.
“You got me.” Ebs blinks in a way that really does look tired. Like, he kind of always looks sleepy, but Taylor knows the difference. “You did good,” Ebs says, his voice low.
The words make a little ping inside Taylor. A lot of people have told him he’s done good lately. He had a twenty-eight game point streak—or, okay, twenty-one, if you consult the official NHL stats. He got his team into the playoffs for the first time in his NHL career. He should be used to hearing it. “Yeah?” he says anyway.
Ebs snorts. “Thirty goals. You know you did good.”
“Thirty-five,” Taylor reminds him.
“Yeah, yeah,” Ebs says. “You beat me,” and Taylor suddenly can’t quite look at him, can’t look away, because he’s wondering if Ebs remembers it. That conversation.
“Damn right I did,” he says, words not quite traveling through his brain, because his brain is totally fuzzed out. His brain is focused on how Ebs is sprawled out, how Taylor’s standing in front of him, how if Ebs were to sit up his mouth would be right—
Ebs keeps looking up at him with sleepy eyes. His foot nudges Taylor’s ankle, and the touch fizzes up Taylor’s leg. “You gonna make it to forty?”
His foot is still there, resting against Taylor’s ankle. “We only have four games left.”
“What, not up for it?” Ebs asks, smirking, and Taylor wants to—
It’s been ages since he’s felt like this: so fucked up his nerve endings aren’t connected right and keep sending little shocky bursts all over his body. He wants to fall onto Ebs and kiss the smirk off his lips.
He can feel his face getting hot, because he doesn’t do this anymore, doesn’t feel it like this. Ebs probably doesn’t even notice. His eyes are blinking sleepily, more closed than open.
“You can’t sleep here,” Taylor says. “You’ll fuck up your back.”
Ebs holds his hands out to him, and for a second Taylor thinks—but no, Ebs is asking for a hand up, wants Taylor to pull him to his feet. Taylor does, bracing and feeling his sore muscles stretch themselves a little, and then Ebs is on his feet, his hands warm in Taylor’s for a second before he lets go.
Once he does, he’s still really close, listing a little, eyes at half mast. His face is inches away. Taylor would just have to lean down an inch or two to—
Ebs smacks him in the stomach with the back of his hand. “’Snot as good as our old couch,” he says.
“Obviously not,” Taylor says. His voice sounds funny to his own ears. Kind of low and rough.
“We gotta do this more,” Ebs says. “Make time for it. We’re only like, what, an hour away? Gotta hang out more.”
“Okay,” Taylor says. He doesn’t know if Ebs really means it. Not enough to carry through with it, maybe, when there’s hockey and travel and Lauren. He wants to think he does.
Ebs steps away a few inches and takes some of the heat in the room with him. “Feels like old times,” he says. “Going off to our rooms.”
“Yeah,” Taylor says. It does. He never got what he wanted then, either.

Y/n, she's my best friend. We've been friends since we were kids. She was my only friend besides Ethan as sad as that sounds. Ethan was also close to her but not as close as me. All I wanted for her was to be happy and wished her success, but her life wasn't so easy and it made my heart hurt to see her in pain. One day, I realized I wanted to be there for her, I needed to be. I'm not gonna get into details but I've been by her side since the first grade. Once I reached her, she already sounded like she was crying. I sat down beside her the suddenly, y/n threw herself in my arms and cried. I wrapped my arms around her and didn't say anything, just let her cry onto me.
She finally calmed down and rubbed her eyes from tears. "I'm sorry." She said
"No, don't ever be sorry." I replied setting my hand on her knee.
"No, I deserve to be. You confessed all your feelings to me and I smashed it into a million pieces. I mean I went on a date with some random guy. I'm such a horrible person." She explains as more tears begin to fall. I didn't know what to say.
"Three weeks ago, you said you needed time. I gave you all the time in the world to figure out your feelings towards me." I began as she stared at me to continue "Can't you tell me now?" I looked at her with sadness in my eyes. She didn't say anything but smiled. A sigh in relief came out of my mouth as she giggled. I looked up at her and shot her a grin. "You don't need to tell me." I say leaning closer
"Because I can see right through you" I pressed my lips on hers as she grin through the kiss.
