i really love seeing simon’s internal conflict this season. he’s trying to move on from wille. at any cost. something i noticed early on is how simon runs to marcus after he has some time of interaction wille or has a tough conversation with him. he either texts (phones playing a big part of this season per usual) or is seen hanging out with him. we know marcus is the rebound, but i love that you literally see him trying to mask the problem by running away from his hurt and feelings (they quite literally run at one point). the first time we see marcus, simon is singing a song that’s about presumably connected to wille.

marcus is a vehicle for simon to run away in. run away from his hurt and feelings. something something about marcus driving him around… poetic.

how have we, as a fandom, moved on from the fact that a literal mob boss looked at hobo phoenix wright and said he’d make a good employee?? mans could go join the mafia if they weren’t going vego, he could never run out of money. he could join the mafia as a spy on the inside with a disgraced lawyer evil backstory like holy shit the potential

someone write the fic where kristoph blackmails him into joining the mafia as a spy and he starts to realise that they’re actually really good people going against corruption that were only labelled as evil cause said corruption is corrupt enough to lie about them

or where he joins and starts accidentally rising in the ranks but the boss, on kristoph orders, threatens to hurt maya/trucy when he tries to quit and the poker club becomes an underground place again

and then kristoph dobs him in and the whole apollo justice trilogy happens with phoenix in jail trying to quietly work in an organisation made up of people who are also forced into being there, and he manages to free them and work as their defence

Dr. Newton Geiszler as the Hulk: A genius scientist with far too many PhDs, Dr. Geiszler is at the forefront of his emerging field.
