About the latest chapter...

I am so happy finally someone is being honest about their feelings - at least to themselves.

Elias and Cece are precious - Don't cry Cece, my love, you will be together, I'm as sure of it as Chérie is.

They're so Mr. Bingley and Jane. It's adorable.

As for Chérie and Anthony... I felt Anthony's pain all the way here. I'm sure she talking about marrying Pierre and then Anthony and his future viscountess - yourself dummie! - visiting in France felt like a knife to the heart. The man probably went home with a heavy heart. Although still as clueless about his feelings than ever - seriously Anthony!

Won't the biggest matchmakers of the ton - Violet Bridgenton and Lady Danbury, of course - do something about it? Or will Benedict and Daphne have to intervene? 'Cause these two see through their eldest brother like glass.

And Chérie is so convinced Anthony doesn't feel love for her I'm starting to think when he finally admits to himself - and the world - she will need a bit of reassurance to believe it. Anthony boy you'll have to work!

Also - what were Benedict and Anthony talking about when Chérie spotted them I wonder...

1 - Feminist Anthony

If you make Anthony a feminist I’ll lose my shit. I mean - is it even possible for me to love him more? Oh dear God!

2 - Pall mall

I’ve read The Viscount Who Loved Me recently and there’s a scene Colin says to Kate the game is popular in France. Obviously once I read it I thought about Chérie. She must have heard of Pall Mall but does she like it? Is she good at it? Will we ever see her playing with the Bridgertons?

3 - Kissing

Chérie needs to see some couple kissing. It would be so hilarious! She'd lose her shit and go talk to someone - Anthony maybe 😏 - about how kissing is for married couples only but the ones she saw were unmarried. She'd be so confused and Anthony would be trying so hard not to laugh at her distress.

4 - Elias and Anthony teaming up against Pierre

It's just obvious to me. Anthony would go "He's completely unworthy of your sister" and Elias would agree but also be lowkey concerned about Anthony's true feelings.

5 - Dressed Up Chérie

Can't stop thinking about Chérie DRESSED UP - more than usual - at a ball. Literally the most beautiful woman in the room. The Duke and Elias escorting her. Anthony them a) rushes against Pierre to be her first dance - and wins or b) manages to appear cool but sees Pierre being her first dance and gets extremely jeaulous and then later when he's finally dancing with her says something like "you can have as many dance partners as you want, as long as I'm your last" in a "I'm not your first love but I'll be your last" kind of way.

That's it. I'm pretty much dead after only thinking about this last one so I guess I'll just lie down and just - read Enamored some more.
