CALLIOPE "COOPER”ANDERSON→ 24 → HOMOFLEXIBLE → TAKEN
QUICK INFO →
CALLIOPE “COOPER” ANDERSON (IMOGEN POOTS) is a HOMOFLEXIBLE TWENTY-FOUR-YEAR-OLD living in MANHATTAN, New York. She joined GETLUCKY to BROADEN HER HORIZONS OUTSIDE THE FILM COMMUNITY..
FROM THE APP →
MOST MESSAGED: Kit Hummel
MOST IGNORED: Sabrina Smythe
LAST MESSAGE: [TO: RAY] Should we make an appearance at that premiere or no?  If it has subtitles I’m sleeping through it.
PROFILE →
Cooper Anderson.  24.  Actress.  Addicted to Coffee.  Living in SoHo.  I like good food, good travel, good people.  I have a dog…she’s real cute… hope you’re not allergic.
BIOGRAPHY →
Calliope ‘Cooper’ Anderson was born to Jocelyn Cooper one chilly November evening 24 years ago.  Her father was a man who took advantage of her lesbian mother when she was inebriated at a party, and when he discovered he’d knocked her up tried to marry her.  Jocelyn told him- I’m still gay, one night changes nothing.  He wasn’t happy and insisted that he get partial custody of the baby.  So from birth, Coop has spent time with her father.
When ‘Calliope’ was old enough to understand that she didn’t share the same last name as her mother (4 years of age), she insisted that everyone call her Cooper.
Once Jocelyn married a woman and moved them out to LA, Cooper was forced to spend every summer with her father and his new family.  She hated her life during the summer time.
Otherwise… Coop loved her moms and her life out in California.  Her Mom, Avery, was a talent manager and ended up getting her into acting by the time she was 14.  She’s been acting, mostly in film, since.
Once she gained a fraction of notoriety out in the LA film community, she decided to sign onto a pilot of a new show filming in NYC.  Though Coop would never admit it, what truly had her signing the contract in the end was the fact that she’d be there in NY in case her younger half sibling needed the support after being disowned by their ass of a father…
Now Cooper lives in SoHo, thrives off caffeine and is still a regular on the series she moved to NYC for.
CONNECTIONS →
BLAIRE ANDERSON → Coop and Blaire are half siblings.  They share the same father but Cooper thinks he’s the worst kind of person and loathed the fact that she was forced to spend time with his perfect family.  Instead of being unfair and taking out built up anger on her younger half sibling, Coop tends to ignore Blaire unless it’s really important.  Since he disowned Blaire she’s warmed up to the girl a little bit more but still tends to get annoyed easily.
RAY BERRY → A close friend and ally in the world of entertainment.
SABRINA SMYTHE → Cooper and Sabrina have known one another for quite some time.  When Cooper needed arm candy for the red carpet Sabrina was typically that person.  Their relationship was merely a professional yet flirtatious friendship… until it wasn’t.  Sleeping together, though explosive in wonderful ways, fucked up their dynamic.  Cooper has been keeping her distance… for months.
KIT HUMMEL →They bonded over fashion and became quick friends despite the elephant in the room (aka Blaire).  Kit always helps Coop figure out what to wear to get on Vogue’s best dressed list.  They chat a lot.

20 Gift Ideas To Order From London Restaurants added to Google Docs
20 Gift Ideas To Order From London Restaurants
One of everyone’s great takeaways (no, not that kind) over lockdown has been that there is nothing, literally nothing, more thrilling than the doorbell ringing. The anticipation. The excitement. The inevitable disappointment when it’s for your neighbour. But, imagine if it wasn’t. Imagine if it was an Ottolenghi hamper for your parents, or a half-litre of honeycomb gelato for your best mate. Sounds good, right? And you’ll be supporting restaurants while you’re at it.

These coffee pros have got countless gift options from coffee beans to branded mugs and t-shirts. Their Climpson’s cupping box gift set and their explorer monthly bean subscription are great shouts if you’re buying for someone who’s just getting into home brewing. Also, their espresso martini kit is perfect for pretty much everyone.

Jack & Beyond ££££ 606 Fulham Road
What they’ve got: Cookies decorated to look like celebrities and DIY cookie decoration kits.

Instead, send sugar in the form of Jack and Beyond’s celebrity cookies. You’ll find everyone from the Queen and her corgi to Frida Kahlo and Barack Obama treats on their website. Heads up, there are DIY decoration kits too.
Tapas Brindisa £ £ £ £ Spanish  in  London Bridge ££££ 18-20 Southwark St 7.6 /10

What they’ve got: Ceramics, homeware, t-shirts, and our personal favourite, their posters.
We’ll let you in on a couple Infatuation London secrets. Yes, we do consume an alarming quantity of antacids, and also we’re very partial to giving each other gifts from Bao. Why? Because their merch is just so fucking nice. As well as seriously good looking homeware, quality ceramics, and oolong gin, their graphic posters will look good in pretty much any flat. Be sure to check out their signature Bao t-shirts and tote too.
The Treats Club ££££
What they’ve got:The power couple that is melted chocolate and doughnuts, delivered.
When we’re sad we like to watch those videos where someone saves a deer from a pond whilst like, a Coldplay song plays or something. Ideally, whilst also mainlining Cadbury’s. Which brings us onto The Treats Club’s DIY hot doughnut sundae kits, because short of Bambi rescue clips, we can’t think of anything much better to cheer someone up. You can choose between biscoff, orea, and nutella here.
St. John Bar And Restaurant £ £ £ £ British  in  Clerkenwell ,  Farringdon ££££ 26 St John St 9.3 /10
What they’ve got: T-shirts, tea towels, totes, and tasteful stuff.
How much St. John merch do we own? Enough to make us look like we’re in some sort of pork cult, that’s for sure. Classic t-shirts and 10l boxes of wine aside, there are a couple of essential cookbooks, and their unique negroni mix too.

Think Beyond Cotton Candy with New York’s Most Unique Eats on a Stick
From carnival perennials like cotton candy and corn dogs, to flowers fashioned from mangos and sold along the beach, a multitude of summer’s preeminent foods are speared on sticks.  And in NYC, that formidable lineup even includes sugar-encased bacon courtesy of Landhaus, as well as fork-free chicken and waffles, at Cuban-cum-Mexican Cafe Habana & more…
Dominique Ansel Bakery
189 Spring St Soho,New York 10012
(212) 219-2773
The inimitable Dominique Ansel operates exclusively out of the box, which is why you’ve never experienced anything like his s’mores, whilst sitting around a campfire.  It starts with squares of honey-sweetened housemade marshmallow that are molded around cubes of chocolate feuilletine-coated vanilla custard and frozen overnight.  They’re propped applewood-smoked sticks, and then torched to order, forming an addictive, crème brulee-esque crust.

Sen Sakana
28 W 44th St Midtown West,New York 10036
(212) 221-9561
Being devoted to Nikkei cuisine (a mash-up of Peruvian and Japanese culinary traditions) means that this long-awaited eatery really doubles down on skewered foods.  Look for a lineup of robata-grilled Kushiyaki, with significant South American flair; we’re talking about Mini Tomatoes wrapped in pork belly, the black feather chicken meatballs known as Tsukune, Jalapeno Queso Cremoso (peppers stuffed with Peruvian cheese), and Japanese Sweet Potatoes slicked in aji amarillo butter.

Llama Inn
50 Withers St Williamsburg,New York 11211
(718) 387-3434
While traditionally comprised of beef heart and other inexpensive organ meats, the Peruvian antichuchos at the ever buzzy (and totally tasty) Llama Inn run the gamut from char siu pork belly with pickled chilies, to chicken thigh with fermented soy beans and potato chips, and octopus stained with aji amarillo, and accompanied by tidbits of cabbage and quinoa.

Hanjan
36 W 26th St Flatiron District,New York 10010
(212) 206-7226
Hooni Kim offers Korean-style chicken skewers at Hanjan; his ode to traditional jamook (taverns).  Carved from La Pera’s fresh-killed, Amish-raised poultry, you can order breast, thigh and gizzard (not to mention heart, skin and oyster meat) simply grilled with salt and pepper and served with ssam-jung and scallion salad, or gussied up with spicy gochujang, soy-garlic glaze, or jalapeno gremolata.

Café Habana
17 Prince St NY 10012
(212) 625-2001
In addition to their iconic elote (skewered, caramelized corn cobs tumbled in mayo, lime juice and cotija cheese), this Cuban-Mexican cantina is known for “Roscoe on a Stick,” essentially a chicken and waffle popsicle served with a side dish of syrup.

Landaus
899 Bergen St Crown Heights,New York 11238
(718) 710-5020
This longtime vendor effortlessly cut through the Smorgasburg noise by selling stubs of brown sugar and herb-roasted slab bacon on a stick, which they also happen to peddle all week round at Smorg’s brick-and-mortar spinoff, Berg’n -– talk about the ultimate bar snack.
Turntable
34-36 W 32nd St Midtown West,New York 10001
(212) 594-4344
K-Town is known for fried chicken, and you won’t be disappointed at the quirky, LP-collecting, karaoke-playing fun-house, Turntable.  But “Twisters” have quickly emerged as their signature dish; think deep-fried, spiralized potato skins, mounted on a stick and smothered with spicy sauce.

Steve’s Authentic Key Lime Pies
185 Van Dyke St Brooklyn,New York 11231
(718) 858-5333
While pie is generally a fork-centric endeavor, no sitting down is required when it comes to Steve’s ingenious Swingles.  Forged from one of his justifiably famous pies (one of only two that uses actual key lime juice in the U.S.), these glorious, stick-propped pops are plunged in chocolate and frozen, creating the ultimate summertime sweet.

New York is amazing. I have never felt more free than in this city. Here’s what a perfect trip there should include, at least for me. Start out with a walk in Central Park. Go to the boathouse, the fountain and the lake. It’s beautiful. Then I’d suggest a visit at the Met or the Guggenheim or both. If youre not into museums at least look at the buildings from the outside. Afterwards, you could either head to the Starbucks on Madison (it’s the best Starbucks I know) for a caramel macchiato or you could go to magnolia bakery on 3rd for their banana pudding (its famous for a reason). And while your at it walk over to Dylan’s candy bar and get on a sugar high. If you like hotels you should check out the palace, the plaza and then head westwards to the empire hotel. Cross the street to see the NYC ballet. A Friday late afternoon would be a good time for a free visit at the MoMA. Or you could go shopping on 5th & Madison and visit the Rockefeller. And when you are there you should take a look at the st. Patricks cathedral. Afterwards go to the Victoria’s Secret store on the other side for some contrast program. It’s very impressive. 3 stories and a museum with the outfits of the vs fashion show. If you want to see a crowded place go to Times Square, crowded but pretty. The Empire State Building is a must see. Go there at sunset and enjoy the view. Worth every penny. Go southwards to take a look at the flatiron and get a burger at shake shack in Madison square park. If you want to see some quality architecture check out the high line and if you want to see where Carrie Bradshaw’s apartment is go to perry street. While you’re at it go get some pizza at Joe’s. The pizza is phenomenal and I bumped into Zachary Quinto when I was there. Check out mercer street and broadway for some good shopping opportunities and go to the nomo soho hotel for photo opportunities. If you’re looking for a good brunch go to Clinton st. baking for amazing pancakes. During your trip make time for a visit at the 9/11 memorial and one world. Afterwards you can go for a walk in battery park or take the Staten Island ferry to get a closer look at the Statue of Liberty for free. The Brooklyn bridge is also a must as well as Brooklyn bridge park. Afterwards you could go to julianas to enjoy the real Grimaldi pizza. Take the Q train to Coney Island if you want to have a beach day and visit Luna park. That’s pretty much everything I can think of right now. It’s just a fracture of what I know about New York and what id like to know about it. But the beautiful thing about this city is that all you have to do is start walking.

Lower East Side reaching higher as destination
The Lower East Side, to paraphrase the old cliche, was a nice place to visit, but you wouldn’t want to stay there. Maybe you stopped into Katz’s (scene of “I’ll have what she’s having”) for a pastrami sandwich and an egg cream. [...] you hightailed it back to your uptown hotel — or if you were a bit more edgy, over to Soho. Because unless it was a weekend and you were a twentysomething looking to get as drunk as possible, there was no reason to linger on the Lower East Side. [...] possibly. The Lower East Side has sprouted a slew of new hotels — both posh and hipster-y — as well as a whole crop of fabulous restaurants you’d be more than happy to eat in sober. Add to the mix the always innovative New Museum and the newly relocated International Center for Photography catercorner from it on Bowery. Is there enough justification to hang below Houston and east of Bowery — even if it’s Tuesday and you’re old enough to have seen “When Harry Met Sally” in a movie theater? Is it possible that suddenly the neighborhood where Meg Ryan demonstrated faking an orgasm has become an exciting, real destination in itself? Stop by Orchard early in the day, and you might catch one of the remaining tailors sweeping his steps, morning sun shining on his yarmulke. Walk Canal at dusk, and you’ll be sideswiped by housewives swinging pink plastic shopping bags dripping crab water. Take Sel Rrose, a glamorously decayed bar/restaurant with distressed concrete walls and gunmetal stools. Sel Rrose’s white marble bar is jammed with mason jars filled with sage leaves and blackberries, candied ginger and red peppercorns — destined for the fabulously decorative (and potent) cocktails shaken up by its lush-bearded bartenders. The name refers to the hill-and-dale process — the term for cutting vertical grooves into a phonograph record or wax cylinder — one of the earliest methods of audio recording. Hill & Dale’s signature drink — which is hot pink and served with a flower floating in it — is called the Floozy, and it takes zero imagination to picture a Jazz Age flapper downing it in the brick-walled back room. At Top Hops, the enormous blackboard behind the bar is chalked with each beer’s name, the brewer, its origin, style, date tapped, alcohol by volume, and the date the draft line was cleaned. Top Hops also keeps pieces of soft Brooklyn-made pretzels on the bar for noshing, which definitely makes me not want to drink beer anywhere else. The restaurant Louie and Chan, with one foot in Chinatown and one on the Lower East Side, is so straight out of the early 1900s with its thin-planked wood floors, porcelain light fixtures, and dark brown walls, the three young Millennial women I once saw texting at the bar looked as if they’d been dropped from another planet, not just another era. If somebody spirited your favorite northern Italian restaurant into a space that could best be described as Haute Tenement, you’d have Bacaro. [...] you have to love a restaurant that gives you your own bottle of olive oil for dipping your bread. Fried chicken and Champagne are two things I am 100 percent behind — which makes Birds and Bubbles my new favorite restaurant on the Lower East Side. [...] who cares when they’re pouring you Champagne (of every price range) and serving you teeth-crackingly crisp fried chicken. Ivan Ramen is the Lower East Side outpost of the self-described “Jewish kid from Long Island” who went to Tokyo and became a Japanese god of noodles. The mural of soup slurpers above the counter includes a kid in a Batman mask, a Japanese man in an Indiana Jones hat and the Creature from the Black Lagoon. In NYC, even the ice cream joints get their 15 minutes of fame — and Morgenstern’s deserves at least that much. Last time I visited this bright-blue storefront, a photographer was angling his camera over their New God Flow sundae as if it were Gisele Bündchen. Its animal-friendly collection of bags and shoes for men and women is fashionable enough for even the most stylish leather-lover. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous, stop into Kenny Shopsin’s idiosyncratic diner, located in the market. from Travel News and Features http://www.sfgate.com/travel/article/Lower-East-Side-reaching-higher-as-destination-10853497.php

The NYC Cocktail Delivery Guide added to Google Docs
The NYC Cocktail Delivery Guide
There’s only one place you can drink right now: your home. And while you could make you own cocktail, the only ingredients you have at your disposal are a wrinkled lime, a few bushels of wilted celery, and a bottle of cheap Prosecco that you’re saving for an emergency.

Even though you can’t go drink at these places, you can still show your support (and drink something great) by ordering from them. We’ll keep updating this guide with more information - so stay tuned, and stay well.
