halloween 2019

*oc and paige are both 18*
-
this was my last halloween party of my highschool years. as paige and i were dancing together in a random senior’s backyard, my mind began to wander. maybe it was the alcohol, maybe it was the weed, or maybe it was because she was staring into my soul with the most lust filled gaze ever. i broke out of my trance to find her smirking, tilting her head towards her car. “wanna get out?” she mouthed, knowing i wouldn’t be able to hear her over the music. i nodded in response and she gingerly took my hand and jogged out of the backyard. i struggled to keep up, still feeling the slight effects of the pen i took a few hits of almost an hour ago. she wasted no time driving back to her house, knowing her parents and brother were gone for the weekend. her free hand was gripping my thigh, dangerously high as i bit my lip in an attempt to simmer my excitement down. i dont know why i never told her how i really felt - i know she felt the same. but there was something telling me that she was just toying with me.
-
she finally pulled into her driveway and ran around the car to open the door for me. i stumbled out, gripping the blonde for balance. “get on” she said, holding out her arms, gesturing for me to jump into them. i obliged and she lifted me up, her hands going to my ass as i wrapped my arms around her neck. she walked to her door and opened it, slamming it closed with her foot once we were inside. she set me down to put her keys on the table before surging towards me, bringing me in for a passionate kiss. she lead me to her room, lips never leaving mine. after her door shut, the whole night became a blur. the only thing i remember was waking up with a pleasant pain between my legs, wrapped in paige’s arms.

it was move in day for me and paige. we’d graduated from hopkins together and somehow ended up committing to uconn together. we both decided it would only make sense for us to dorm together. boy was i wrong.
-
jerking back tears while watching my parents leave along with paige’s wasn’t easy. paige noticed me standing there alone, staring at the road long after they’d left. she came up behind me, her hand going to the small of my back as hot tears were now flowing freely down my face. “no, no, no, it’s okay don’t cry, you’ll see them soon”, she said, allowing me to fold into her open arms. she held me as i soaked her shirt with tears, completely disregarding the box filled dorm that was waiting for us. i stayed wrapped in her embrace as the parking lot emptied and my tears subsided. the sun began to set as i lifted my head from her chest, looking up at her with glossy eyes. she looked down at me with a pout, trying to cheer me up. i giggled at the sight, watching her mouth turn up into a smile as she did a little fist pump. "see, all better” she joked, cupping my face and wiping my tears with her thumbs. “i bet you feel real accomplished” i said through a snotty laugh. “you know i do” she replied, her breath catching when she looked at the beautiful sunset. the sky was painted deep orange and yellow, pale pink reflecting onto the clouds making them look like cotton candy. i watched her take in the sunset, admiring the way it shone on her perfect face. i peeled my eyes away to look at the sunset myself. it was ethereal. i got lost in the sky, unaware that paige was gazing at me with a soft smile. i turned my head to find her staring, and before i could tease her about it, she connected our lips in a slow, sweet kiss. her hands gently held my waist as my arms traveled to wrap around her neck, pulling her closer. my lips moved expertly against hers as her hands moved up my back. i pulled away, smiling up at her. “you’re so beautiful”, she began, watching my face redden, “i love you”. my eyes widened a bit at the last statement. “i love you too p”, i replied, reaching up to kiss her again.
i had to keep reminding myself that we were just best friends, even though i was beginning to hate the label. best friends don’t kiss like that. best friends don’t have sex every so often. and best friends sure don’t talk to each other like that.

paige was hanging out with her teammates while i was in class. i loved her team - they treated me like a sister, especially the freshmen, who always looked up to me. i had just gotten home from my last class, exhausted and burnt out from the amount of work i had to do. when i got back inside, i overheard paige, aubrey, kk and ice talking about something, someone. “so, paige, how’s your lil girlfriend?” kk joked. it clicked in my head that i was the topic of conversation. i stopped in my tracks as paige began to respond. “what girlfriend?”, she replied. “come on p, stop playing dumb, we all know you guys aint best friends” ice retorted. i peeked through the door that was cracked open and watched aubrey playfully punch her in the shoulder, laughing. see, throughout our freshman year, i had to deal with the amount of girls paige brought home. i hated that era of her. i knew she was just being a dumb college girl, i knew she didn’t care about those girls, but it hurt me to think about the fact that i was one of the many girls on her roster. when she finally changed her ways to focus on basketball after her acl injury, i felt a wave of relief wash over me. sure, it meant that i was also cleared off her roster, but we still resumed our normal not-best-friend-like activities. i held my breath as she began to answer. “i’m being serious, she’s my best friend and nothing more. i don’t even like her like that for real. i mean, she’s not even my type”, she replied. i practically winced at every word that left her mouth. she couldn’t be serious, right? i didn’t know what else to do in that moment. i turned around, grabbed my keys and stormed out. im guessing she heard me, because as i was running down the hallway she flew outside and sprinted to catch up to me. “shit, yn, you heard that?” she said when she got to me, exasperated. i turned around to face her guilty eyes. “yeah paige, i did. do me a favor and fuck off for me will you?” i replied, my words shaky as tears pricked my eyes. i ran downstairs and made my way outside before she could even reply. i started my car and began to drive mindlessly, just wanting to get away. i pulled into an empty dunkin’ lot, let my tears flow freely, and cried for what felt like hours.

none of my words were true. i liked her so much, i just didn’t want to tell them right there. azzi was the only one who knew.
watching tears build at her waterline crushed me. i’ve never made her cry before. her words hit me hard. i wanted to follow her, i wanted to be the one to comfort her just like i did on move in day. i knew she wouldn’t let me in - she never did. she always had her walls up and rarely cried in front of me.
i checked her location, wanting to know if she was safe at least.
dunkin: hartford, ct
i had no idea why she was all the way in hartford. i knew she had a habit of absentmindedly driving when she was upset, but she’s never gone this far. fuck. i seriously hurt her. as much as i wanted to drive to her, i knew it was a bad idea. it took everything in me to trudge back to my dorm, our dorm. i opened the door slowly, my head hung low. aubrey, kk and ice were waiting behind the door, confusion painted on all of their faces. “p, what the fuck was that?” aubrey said. “man, i fucked up big time. i lied to y’all, i really do like her. i just didn’t wanna tell you guys”. “do you think we’re stupid? we knew girl. you suck at lying” kk retorted, snorting. “oh”, i replied, biting my lip. “go get your girl bueckers” ice said, ushering me out of my own dorm. i grabbed my keys and hopped into my car, wasting no time driving to her. luckily she was still at that random dunkin’, although i knew she didn’t exactly want to see me. i pulled up next to her car and peered through her window. the only thing i could make out through the heavy rain coating her window was the sight of her holding her head in her hands, her chest heaving up and down. it broke me to see her like that. i just sat there and watched her for a while, my face turning white when she eventually noticed me. her expression immediately shifted from miserable to livid as she switched from park to reverse, quickly pulling out of the lot. i didn’t even try to follow her. i sunk into my seat and ran my hands down my face, pinching my eyelids and hitting the steering wheel. i fucked up, bad.

i booked a room at the graduate hotel, solely to get away from the blonde. i only planned on staying there for the weekend because of the ridiculously high prices. i checked in and didn’t even bother putting my stuff away. i just flopped on the bed, burying my face in a pillow. stop thinking about her. you’re not her type. my mind was in a million different places at once, but it seemed to go silent when i checked my phone. they were all notifications from paige, about 16 missed calls and 20 unread messages. they ranged from “im so sorry” to “i miss you” to “are you okay?” to “where are you??”. tired and angry, i took her off my allowed people on do not disturb. i couldn’t bear to think about her at all. i quickly got changed into my pajamas and settled into bed, feeling cold and empty without paige’s presence beside me. it was weird falling asleep without her around me. i don’t think i’ve slept without her since freshman year started. i guess it’s never too late to try new things.

i spent practically the whole weekend rotting in the graduate hotel. i was honestly getting tired of ignoring paige. i missed her so much, but she didn’t have to know that. checking out of the hotel felt so good, and i was finally ready to speak to her after regaining my composure. i made my way back to our dorm, preparing to let her in and explain herself. i walked in only to be met with paige and another girl. she looked exactly like me, a doppelgänger if you will. her hair, her height, her eyes, everything. it looked like a friendly interaction, as though paige was planning to get up and leave, but i didn’t even let her reach the door. spinning on my heels, i stormed out for the second time this week, slamming the door in her face. i had enough. i’d seen enough. the sound of the door opening behind me angered my soul. “don’t fucking follow me paige”, i yelled, not even looking back. i didn’t want to see her face at all. i heard the door close quietly, footsteps trailing behind me. i was ready to scream at her. instead of being met with the tall blonde, i turned to see my doppelgänger. “hey, i don’t have any idea who you are, i was just leaving anyways but i’m not really interested in paige for real. she looked like she needed a shoulder to cry on..but that’s none of my business. i’m on your side babe, if anything” the girl, who’s name i learned was jade, spoke. her tone was gentle. she sounded genuinely concerned. “thank you, at least someone here understands me” i replied, laughing slightly. we exchanged numbers and i thanked her again for being so kind. she smiled and i left, needing somewhere to stay. although i was close to the entire team, azzi was the one i was closest to. well, aside from paige. azzi, paige and i have been sort of like a trio since highschool. whenever azzi came to visit, we had the time of our lives. we were so excited when she announced her signing with uconn. i texted her the whole situation and she immediately replied, welcoming me over. i sped over to her place, which wasn’t far from paige and i’s. she was waiting for me at the door, worry painted on her face. i began sobbing as soon as i saw her, just needing to be comforted. when we got inside she brought me over to the couch and pulled me into her lap, holding me as i hiccuped and shook uncontrollably. i cried until i couldn’t anymore again this week. this wasn’t like me. i never really cried like this. how could paige be causing all of this?
my tears turned into sniffles and azzi’s shirt was soaked. after i finished crying, i sat in her arms, my head buried in the crook of her neck, a comfortable silence filling the room as i regained composure. “honey, what happened?” she finally spoke, her voice soft. i lifted my head and began, “i overheard paige talking to aubrey, ice, and kk on friday.. they were teasing her about me and she said that she never liked me at all and that i wasn’t her type and…oh God”. my head fell into my hands as more tears began flowing down my face. azzi instantly pulled me back against her, rubbing my back to soothe me. “shh, it’s okay, i’m right here. you’re okay”. “i caught her with another girl azzi”, i confessed, sobbing harder. “oh hon..” she replied, visibly upset with paige. “i swear, im gonna kill her” she muttered to herself. i mustered out a slight, snotty laugh at her anger. “i wanted to give her the light of day after she tried to explain what she said about me, but that was the last straw. i don’t know what to do now”, i spoke, my voice cracking, tears still spilling down my face. “you don’t have to do anything right now, just stay here and take a break. you need it. i’ll be right here” she answered. “thanks az, i love you” i told her, meaning every word. i don’t know what i’d do without her. “i love you too”. i continued crying in her arms as the sun set.

azzi’s apartment ..
-
i couldn’t help but follow her to azzi’s apartment. hearing everything she said and how she said it broke me. her voice, her tears, everything about it made me sick to my stomach. it made it worse that i was the one who did this, again. how could i be so stupid? how could i try to fill the void she left? nobody could ever be like her. i wasn’t going to let anything happen between jade and i. i couldn’t bring myself to. i had to tell her that. but seeing the look on her face when she saw me that night, the way azzi was cradling her as tears streamed down her face was too much for me. i couldn’t stand to see her like that. i quietly slipped away from azzi’s apartment, not being able to see her crying anymore. when i got back to our place, i tried texting her again. it was pointless - she hadn’t even replied to the texts i sent her on friday night. i sat on the couch and pondered for a while. deciding to test my luck, i headed back to azzi’s apartment.

my tears finally faded as i began drifting off to sleep. azzi noticed my eyes drooping which inclined her to lift me off the couch and carry me to her room. she laid me down and tucked me into her bed. “get some rest, okay?” she whispered, lips pressed to the crown of my head. i nodded and smiled sleepily up at her. “thank you az” i murmered. “of course” she replied, turning on her fairy lights and flicking the light off. she closed the door, leaving it cracked open slightly. i heard some commotion coming from outside the door, but i eventually fell asleep, tear tracks drying on my face.

speeding right back over to azzi’s apartment almost cost me my car privileges, but i didn’t care. i needed to see her. i flew down the hallway and practically banged on azzi’s door. after about a minute or so it opened, and i was met with azzi’s stern glare. she was visibly angry with me, for good reason. “paige. are you stupid or dumb?” she said. not really what i wanted to hear. “i know, i know, i messed up bad. but i need to explain to her. i need to talk to her”. “you do realize she’s completely broken and wants nothing to do with you? she’s also asleep right now”. great. i just want to see her face again. “can i just..” my voice trails off. “can you what paige?” i clear my throat. “can i just see her, please?”
azzi thought for a few moments.
“fine, go, she’s in my room”.
i thanked azzi profusely and quietly shuffled into her room. there she was, sleeping like an angel with the fairy lights perfectly illuminating her face. she looked beautiful during any time of day. i stood over her for a while and just watched her sleep like the weirdo i was. eventually, i got tired of standing and oh so gently sat down on the edge of the bed, careful not to wake her. a heavy sigh escaped my mouth as i watched her sleep peacefully. my arms and hands apparently had a mind of their own, because before i knew it i was stroking her face gently. i couldn’t bring myself to stop. her face is so perfect, everything about her is so perfect. i slightly brushed my thumb over her lips, trying not to wake her. i failed as soon as my hand reached the top of her head, petting it and stroking the hair down her face. she began to stir under me, blinking her eyes open. i knew she was a heavy sleeper and it took a few minutes for her to wake up, so i continued to graze her face. when she began to gain consciousness, i panicked and planted my feet in the ground to stand up. a soft voice stopped my escape.
“paige?”
i froze in place and waited for her to speak again.
“what are you doing here?” she asked in that adorable, sleepy voice she has when she first wakes up.
turning around, i slowly walked back towards the bed where she laid, curled up in azzi’s fuzzy blankets, head craned slightly to see me.
“oh uh, i was just-“
i stopped.
“hm?”
“i was checking..on you.”
“why?”
she was waking up fully now.
“because i hurt you. and i’m sorry.”
her expression changed from sleepy to upset, and i noticed the tear tracks that stained her face.
“you’re sorry?” she answered, tears welling up in her eyes. “now you’re sorry? do you realize what you put me through?” she said, hot angry tears flowing freely down her soft cheeks.
“i-“ i tried to retaliate, but stopped immediately when she broke down sobbing.
“baby i-“
“don’t call me that”, she spat, glaring at me through wet eyelashes.
ouch.
“how can you casually come back here and sorry your way out of this? don’t you know how long i suffered watching you hook up with all of these girls in front of me? don’t you realize how hurtful it was to be one of those girls on your ever growing roster? do you even know how long i waited for you paige? all throughout our little friends with benefits phase in high school, all while i became a hook up and not a best friend, all while i was there for you when you tore your acl, all of it. and then you go ahead and tell aubs, ice and kk that i’m not your type? that you never liked me like that? and then proceeded to hook up with a girl that looks exactly like me? don’t you know what that does to someo-“
“i love you”.

“i love you”.
i stopped my rant instantly and shot my eyes up to meet hers. she immediately looked down and took her bottom lip in between her teeth.
“you what?”
“i love you. more than anything”.
i scoff and laugh a little, shocked.
“but i thought-“
she cuts me off by leaping onto the bed and bringing me in for a long kiss, pouring out every pent up emotion she had built up in her. our lips moved against each other perfectly. i didnt want to admit how much i was craving this. she slid her tongue into my mouth and they danced together as we made out. it was sweet. it was everything i had been missing. we slowly dwindled down and pressed our foreheads together. she took my head in her hands.
“i. love. you.”
i sniffled and lightly smiled up at her.
“you do?”
“i’ll say it again and again and again. however many times it takes for you to believe me.”
“you would?”
she brought her lips to my forehead and spoke against it, still holding my face.
“of course i would”.
laughing breathily, i retaliated.
“i love you too. i love you more, actually”.
she peeled her lips away from my forehead and looked me dead in the eyes.
“not possible. all those girls? they’ll never be like you.” she said, grinning wildly, waiting for my response.
my finally dried face turned damp again and my mouth turned up in a smile as happy tears streamed down my face. i hugged her so tight and cried into her neck, kissing it simultaneously.
“i love you paige. so much”.
“i love you more baby”.
pulling away from her neck, i crashed my lips onto hers. we made out for what seemed like hours, basking in the warmth that we brought each other.
azzi smiled at the sight of us making up, proud of her idiot best friends who didn’t know how to deal with their feelings.
we finally headed back to our place together. we went straight to our room and laid down, limbs tangled together.
my head rested on her chest as she gently played with the ends of my hair, curling them with her fingers.
the world had stopped spinning. paige and i were girlfriends. not best friends. everything aligned.

Yandere! Alien (ONE-SHOT)
I’m sick as hell rn and I just want to write. Sorry it’s been awhile TT
Never wrote something like this before so be nice but criticism is always welcome!!
Also been awhile since I wrote smut, so i apologize if it’s not good either
Content: AFAB Reader (no gendered terms used), aphrodisiac effect (alien’s saliva), sexual themes, alien dick (ikyk) oviposition (egg-laying/having eggs inside you), breeding, brief mention of blood.  P -> V. Cunnilingus.  This is a lighter yandere.  —
You headed up to your grandparents' mountain cabin, craving some alone time to clear your head and unplug. It was meant to be a chill getaway, a routine check. The cozy rustic vibes inside welcomed you, but what caught you off guard was the sight of an alien, looking totally puzzled by a simple piece of fruit. It was almost cute, but definitely not part of the plan.
It was not even a full 24-hours before you heard a loud crash outside. Your first thought was a tree possibly falling. To your surprise, there was this odd pod thing sitting there.
You immediately wanted to call someone, but then you remembered. No service, no humans around for miles – classic mountain problems. However, your curiosity got the best of you, so you grabbed a stick and poked the mysterious pod. It hissed open, releasing a fog that revealed a towering alien.
This dude was something else. Humanoid, but not quite right. Terrifying yet strangely captivating. Pale, almost ghostly skin, cat-like features with pointy ears and weird dark marks all over. Antennas sticking out of his head and long silky smooth white hair flowing down.
Now, a few days later, he couldn't take his eyes off an apple, completely captivated like a kid in a candy store. His long finger reached out, gently tapping it.
"Want a bite?" I interrupted his apple stare-down. He turned to me, his language sounding weird, definitely not from around here, but the guy picked up English crazy fast.
"Can eat this?" he questioned, his voice all deep and otherworldly, like trying to put words to an alien sound. I nod, “Yeah go ahead. It’s pretty tasty.”
He snatched the apple, giving it a good sniff and admiring its vibrant red hue. Hesitating for a moment, he finally decided to take a cautious bite. His eyes widened, almost sparkling with surprise. Without wasting any time, he went for another bite, a grin spreading across his face.
A little chuckle escaped me."So, what do you think? Is the apple a hit?” I asked him between giggles. His mouth was full of the apple, the juice pouring down her cheek. “Apple... good," he responded with a few mysterious words, likely compliments, before switching back to English. "Tastes like Earth. Want more."
"More apples?" I questioned, making sure. His face lit up with happiness as he nodded. I got up from the couch and headed towards the kitchen. I grabbed more apples, including some oranges and pears for good measure. Dumping the fruity treasure on the end table, I declared, "Voila!"
He gobbled up the whole apple, even the core, and then flopped into a chair by the table. Snatching an orange, he sniffed it just like he did with the apple. A big bite, some chewing, and he declared, "Different, but good,” he mumbled with a nod. "Earth food, good." I shook my head, chuckling. "No, you can't eat the skin like that. Let me peel it for you," I said, quickly peeling it for him. "Here, give it another shot. It'll be way tastier this way." I held out the peeled orange, urging him to try it again.
He narrowed his eyes at it, unsure, then decided to take another bite. The look on his face mirrored the one he had when munching on the apple. "This is real good," he exclaimed, before launching into a stream of excited chatter in his own language. "You," he stopped to find the right word. "Smart! Lots of cool things. I wanna know more."
I flashed him a smile, saying, "Awh, thanks! I'm curious to know more about you too." We took a little pause, just locking eyes. His big, dark, almost black orbs were fixed right on me, kind of hypnotic. I turned my head and blurted out, "So, um, what else do you wanna find out?" His intense look left me a bit flustered.
I still felt his intense gaze burning into the side of my head. Suddenly, he grabbed my hand and yanked me back onto the couch, plopping down beside me. I was a bit confused, but I took this as him wanting to know what this was. “Oh, this thing? It's a couch. Like a big chair, so more people fit on it," I explained.
He gave a little nod, inching closer. Those eyes were still locked onto mine, like he had something important to say but was stuck on the words. Next thing I knew, his hands were on my cheeks, squishing them, and his forehead rested against mine. Our noses touched. If you told me a few days ago that a massive alien would nuzzle noses with me and I'd just roll with it, I'd have called you nuts. However I just let it happen. Despite us knowing each other only a few days I felt a strange trust and connection to him.
I raised an eyebrow, still kinda confused but not backing off. His fingers, long and gentle, traced my cheek, giving me a ticklish feeling. His breath brushed against my face, and he stayed quiet. “So… is this some alien custom or what?" I questioned, getting even more confused by all the physical contact. He nodded, making a small clicking noise. Then he began to say a bunch of words in his native language. I think he could notice I wasn't understanding in the slightest because he let out a huff before he kissed me quickly.
I gasped at the sudden feeling. It wasn't like any regular kiss; it was way more enjoyable, sending a tingling and numbing feeling through me. His lips still held the sweetness from the fruit we had earlier.
His hand moved to the back of my head, pulling me in closer, while the other one continued to gently stroke my cheek. A warmth began to wrap around me, it was a strange feeling, but one I wasn’t pulling away from.
I shut my eyes and leaned in, returning his kiss. A surge of warmth enveloped us, almost like a sweet paralysis. It was too irresistible to pull away.
The hold he had on the back of my neck got a bit tighter. It didn’t hurt but it was obvious he didn’t want me to pull away, I couldn’t even if I wanted to. His soft lips were intoxicating, both of our lips moving in rhythm.
His tongue teased my bottom lip, coaxing them to open. It felt like an aphrodisiac, a warm and comforting sensation. Slowly, I surrendered as he pressed me down onto the couch, rendering me completely immobile.
Breaking away, he panted slightly, and we gazed at each other breathlessly. It felt like we were just staring at each other for hours, even though it was only a couple seconds. The warm feeling growing in my chest and stomach was growing, it was pure need.
Gasping for breath, he uttered "Xylorvex," a word in his native tongue. Pausing for a moment, thinking, he repeated, "Mate. You're mine, all mine." With that, he pressed his head against my neck, as he began to kiss and suck the skin.
The words hit me, making my face burn as he nibbled and kissed my neck. His teeth were sharp, but he tried to be gentle, though sometimes he bit too hard, making me bleed.
Yet, he was quick to lick and clean the wounds, sending a rush of arousal through me. My body went numb, and all I could feel was the strange alien's touch. His kisses left me craving more. "P-please," I stammered, desperate.
The strange creature stared at me, clearly confused. I let out a groan and pleaded, "I need more," hoping it would catch my drift. It took a while but then he nodded, finally understanding as his long fingers slowly pulled down my pants and now slicked covered underwear.
The cold air on my bare pussy made me flitch and shiver slightly. He brought one his face down and looked at it which only made me more embarrassed but aroused. After a while he brought his hand towards it, going up and down the folds, gathering more of the wetness. I let out a shaky moan and quivered slightly. I was so turned on it was almost painful. The creature watched as my pussy convulse around nothing. He slowly brought his face towards it as he began to carefully lap the folds. I cover my mouth as I let out a loud mouth. My breathing has gone heavy yet shallow as he continued licking and sucking. It was tingling in a way that caused more sensations than ever. I grabbed a handful of his hair, not knowing whether I was pulling him closer or pushing him away.
“Sweet. Like fruit,” he said softly, his eyes never leaving my cut as it dripped leaving a small pool onto the couch. He quickly went back towards it, slurping up all the arousal that poured out of me. He was mostly silent throughout this, a few clicks that I took as happiness as his half-lidded eyes switched from my pussy to my face. Luckily enough I was making enough noises for the both. It was only a matter of minutes before I felt my orgasm building full force. He began to swirl his long tongue around my clit sucking on it before going back towards my hole pushing his tongue in. “Nghh~ ah fuck~” I moaned out loudly as I came all over his face. The slick trailing down his chin as he made sure to give my pussy a few more kisses before sitting back up and looking at me. “Good?” I nodded as my chest went up and down heavily. I have never experienced anything like that before and it took a lot of the energy out of me. He smiled slightly as he then took off his pants showing his now fully erect dick, it was nothing like you have ever seen before. It was long and girthy, with the same black markings that were across his skin. It was veiny, and twitching. Despite being quiet it was obvious he was just as excited as you were.
He slowly rubbed the entrance, gathering my slick onto his dick. I rarely had time to think before he pushed it in slowly, filling me up instantly. We both let out a moan as he bottomed out. The clicking noise became louder as he began to mumble something. He kissed my lips before he started to thrust his and wiggle inside me.
It was otherworldly, it was like his cock was perfectly morphing itself to my folds causing a sensation I couldn’t explain. The moans I let out came off as more of screams as I gripped the couch. However they were not as loud as they could be because of his sweet kisses, almost praising and encouraging me to take it.
You quickly learned that his species had a strong stamina. He was doing all sorts of positions with you, forcing orgasm after orgasm before all you could do was cry and take the pleasure. Hours later and after your nth orgasm did he finally cum. He gave his final thrusts as he shot his load inside you. The warmth filling you as you whined. You could  feel him depositing large eggs within you. Causing your belly to bulge as he cooed and petted your head.
After he laid all his eggs within you he finally put out, a clear sticky substance pooled out of your entrance as you trembled. The alien held you close as he brought you to the bed, grabbing something he thought was a towel and wiped you up.
You quickly fell passed out as he cuddled up next to you, spooning you and continuing his pats to your head. He just knew that you’ll be such a kind and loving mate for the children slowly growing inside you.

As usual, I would appreciate any and all feedback. I’m happy to once more go on this adventure with all of you! Thank you in advance for your comments and for reblogging.
Tumblr media
‘Really. Ur gonna ignore me.’
The latest in Greta’s endless texts pops up. Thankfully, the shitty reception blocks out most of them and they dump in bunches you can easily swipe away. You ignore her shallow pleas for the carnation badge you’ve been diligently stitching away at.
Your eyes are bleary from squinting and the fatigue tugging at the corners. Another day at the hotel leaves you with barely enough energy to enjoy your time off the clock. You pick away at the pink petals until your head threatens to split from the deep furrow in your brows.
You sigh and pack up your kit, setting it aside and pushing yourself off the floor. Ugh, you’re too young to be this achy. You yawn and stagger out of your room, puttering through the house lazily. It isn’t until you get to the kitchen that you notice the silence.
There’s an unbaked meatloaf on the counter, the oven preheated, and potatoes half-peeled. What the hell? You take a bottle of orange cream soda from the fridge, the special ones your mom gets you, and set off in search of your parents.
Your father’s voice is the crumb trail that leads you to your quarry. Your dad’s on the front porch, hands on the railing as your mother stands at his shoulder. The screen door snaps shut behind you, announcing your arrival abruptly. You follow their gaze to the police cruiser pull across the driveway.
“What’s going on?” You ask as you twist the cap off the bottle.
“We should be asking you,” your mother turns with arms crossed.
“What do you–”
“Taught you better than to steal,” your father hisses as he shifts back to glare at you.
“What are you talking about?” You shake your head.
“Now, now, we ain’t laying any charges…yet,” Bodecker comes up to the steps, previously obscured by the tall post, “just some questions.”
“Questions? About?” You hold the cream soda, untasted. “Mom, dad?”
“Go on,” your dad sneers, “talk to him.”
“Honey,” your mother turns on you, “so disappointed.”
“I didn’t do anything…” you murmur.
“Maybe ya didn’t but I still needa ask ya some stuff,” Bodecker insists, a sneaky wink behind your parents’ back.
You huff. What do you do? You could refuse and tell them how he tried to chase you down in his cruiser but you really don’t think it’s any more believable than it was yesterday. You tramp across the porch and descend the steps, staring at the sheriff.
He beckons you away from the porch. You follow warily. You don’t trust him but you know refusing will only make you look worse. It’s grade school all over again. Your parents always believed the principal over you.
“How ya doin’, darlin’?” He asks as he puts a hand on his hip, kicking out one foot as his stance pushes out his stomach further.
“What are you doing here?”
“Ain’t no way to speak to an officer,” he girds, “ah, ya know, we gotta call from the grocer… says someone snatched some gummy bears on their way out with a cone.”
“Huh?”
“It’s just candy but it’s still a crime,” he tuts.
“I wouldn’t– I didn’t–” You sputter.
He smirks. Is he lying? Or did Greta swipe something? You wouldn’t put it past either of them.
“I’m not accusin’ you, I just wanted to give you the chance to clear your name,” he taunts.
“You know it wasn’t me,” you utter.
“Do I? I barely know ya,” he scoffs, “and it ain’t for lack of trying.”
“The store has cameras, doesn’t it?”
“Mm, I thought so but turns out they’re decorative. Deterrent more than functional,” he snickers as he reaches to adjust the bolo tie at his collar, “so all I got to go on is eye witnesses. Supposed I could ask Grety girl.”
The pet name makes your stomach churn. Greta will already be pissed at you for snubbing her, you don’t doubt she’ll happily throw you under the bus, or the police cruiser, for a two dollar bag of candy.
“And if I tell you the truth, that it wasn’t me,” you challenge.
“Your word against hers,” he shrugs, “isn’t it?”
You look at him. His eyes gleam victoriously. He’s got you in a corner. You glance over as your dad sits on the porch, your mother’s shadow behind the screen door.
“What do you want?” You ask as you face him again.
“Just a ride along, darling,” he says, “won’t take long at all.”
You frown, your tongue bitter. You shudder and blow through your lips. What choice do you have?
“I’ll have you back by curfew, don’t you worry,” he chuckles.
“Fine,” you sniff, “fine, I… just need to grab some shoes.”
“Good girl,” he praises and reaches for the bottle in your hand. He takes it and sucks on the neck, downing nearly half of it, “sweet…” he muses, “bet you’re sweeter.”
You scowl and turn away from him. He can have the damn cane soda. You stomp towards the porch as he strides coolly behind you. Your mother opens the door as you approach.
“She’s just gonna come make a statement at the station,” Bodecker explains, “ain’t nothing wrong. Just to clear her name.”
“Oh,” your mother touches her chest daintily.
“We’re not paying no fines for you, girl,” your father growls.
You sidle past your mom and grab your slip-ons. You toss them on the porch and step into them before stomping back to the steps. You don’t say a word. You don’t need the sheriff digging you a bigger hole.
“Shouldn’t be none of that,” Bodecker says, “but she might wanna get better friends.”
You march towards the cruiser defiantly. He’s right. You wouldn’t be in this mess if it wasn’t for Greta. But she isn’t your biggest problem. No, he’s got your soda and a smirk on his face.

I've been dreaming of the Benevolent Sovereign of the Oasis.
Sun and shadow. Two existences, locked in a perpetual cycle, unable to be without the other.
It hurts to part ways, but reunion is that much sweeter.
How does a moment last forever? How can a story never die?
Tumblr media
His eyes flutter open, and the instant his awareness hits, so, too, does the lightning in his veins. He throws his covers off and scrambles out of bed. His phone is in his hand in seconds, the calendar app opened.
It's just as he anticipates.
“Today’s the day!!”
Kalim's exhilarated shout stirs the entire mansion. Various hired help glance up from their tasks—private chefs in the middle of their prep work, housekeepers tending to the laundry, gardeners watering the flowers—and tut or sigh.
"There goes the young master again," they’d murmur amongst themselves. "He's so excitable."
It's not an unusual occurrence, but this time is especially special. The notice had gone out months in advance, the most skilled laborers called in from all corners of the world for the event. He had counted down the days, cancelled all his meetings.
Just for this.
Kalim breaks into a sprint down the corridor, his sandaled feet pounding the polished floors. He skids around a corner and continues his frantic pace, almost knocking over a valet. The servant stumbles, but Kalim grabs his hands and pulls him up into a spin.
"It's today, it's today!!" he squeals, earning a blank stare from the valet.
"Yes, sir. The staff are all aware. The preparations are well underway, so you needn't be concerned."
"Gahahah, everyone's already hard at work this early in the morning!" Kalim’s boisterous laugh bounces off the high ceilings. “Is there anything I can do to help?”
“Oh no, please leave the work to us... Y-Young master? Young master, where are you going?!"
"I'm going to check up on some things, don't mind me!!" Kalim calls back. He has already taken off, leaving the valet stunned.
"... Well, he's certainly become more proactive."
Kalim sticks his head into the dining room. The table is large enough to host his entire family plus several guests, but today it is set only for two. The seats are intimately situated across from one another, their best plates, silverware, and cloth napkins set out to welcome the diners.
The centerpiece, an ice sculpture of a viper with its hood flared out, sparkles in the morning sunlight. It would be a puddle by now, had it not been enchanted to never melt.
Servants are busy setting up a banquet: crisp vegetables, steamed fish, crusted breads, seasoned meats. His stomach tosses uncomfortably when he passes the seven kinds of curry laid out in a row--but he reassures himself with the reminder that his guest is sure to love them.
The kitchen didn't skim on the beverage selection either. There are sparkling juices, rich soups, spiced coffee, and black tea, accompanied by a large pot of white sugar with which to sweeten it. For dessert, fresh fruits (no dates!), flaky layered pastries, ice-creams, and cakes dipped in sugar syrups, topped with crushed pistachios and candied orange peels.
"Care to sample, sir?" a servant asks Kalim. They offer a trey of appetizers, each with an odd stone-colored dollop.
He obliged, popping one into his mouth. "Mmm! What's this gray stuff? It's delicious!"
"The head chef's secret recipe, young master. He thought to bring it out of his recipe cards today in honor of the celebration."
"Wow, he's really going above and beyond for this!!" Kalim glances at his staff. Now the orchestra is filing in with their instruments, and a massive roast duck on a bed of fried garlic and scallions is being laid out on the table. Another team is stringing up lanterns, and a skilled animal tamer enters, hauling a crate of colorful parrots. "Everyone is. I really appreciate it.
"... Oh, hey!" He snaps his fingers, a spark in his eyes--as though he has just come up with a great idea. "I know! Since you've been putting your all into this, I think it's only fair you get to get off work early and have a chance to relax too!"
"Erm, sir--that's very generous of you, but we aren't even done setting things up yet. The decorations especially..."
"It's fine, I've got this!" Kalim turns to the rest of the workers calls out, waving his arms. "Hey, everyone! You're free to go! Grab some nice food from the kitchen on your way out. I can handle the rest!"
The staff look confused, but not one of them protests. Some shrug and immediately exit, others anxiously wait for their peers to go before they follow. Before long, the room is cleared.
"Alright, let's do this...!"
Kalim produces his magical pen and waves it in an arc. Golden sparkles rain down, animating nearby objects.
Plates, forks, spoons, and knives march to the long table themselves. Flowers settle into crystal vases. Banners and lanterns float up, pinning themselves in place.
There we go.
"Squawk, squawk, squawk!!"
Kalim follows the cacophony to the cage of parrots left behind by the animal tamer. They're scrambling around, looking longingly at the decorations that had been raised to the ceiling.
He brightens with understanding. "Oooh, I get it! You want to get out and stretch your wings too!"
Kalim hesitates, turning the choice over in his head. "'Hmm, well... Technically, you're not supposed to be released until he gets here."
A showy spectacle--that is how Kalim envisions it. A whirlwind of flashy feathers to welcome him back. But the longer he looks at the wide, wet eyes of the parrots, the more the sadness swells in his chest.
Poor little guys, bound to a cage.
"... Okay, I've decided! You can come out and stretch your wings, I'll just need you back on the ground before the big surprise. Then you can fly all you want when he gets here."
Kalim kneels, fiddling with the lock on the cage. The door easily slides open, and--
FLAP, FLAP, FLAP!!
The entire flock rushes out, sending Kalim flying back onto his bum. He braces against the powerful beating of wings, the talons and beaks nearly scraping his skin.
A voice cuts through the noise.
"Kalim!"
Someone tackles right into him, forcing him to the ground. The world violently tilts, and suddenly Kalim is staring at a ceiling swarming with golden lights and a vaguely shaped shadow looming over him.
"I thought you had matured a little since I departed, but it looks as though you still have your moments where you're hopeless without me. I didn't think the first thing I'd do when I got back was protect you, but here we are."
He blinks rapidly. His vision slowly corrects, lines drawing together and forming a crisper image.
That face.
He recognizes it.
His old friend, dressed in sandals, khakis, and a bright yellow T-shirt embroidered with pink tropical flowers. He wears a cap that resembles a cartoon character--a dog with floppy black ears. The man had entered with suitcases, which were dropped by the door the instant he jumped to Kalim's defense.
"Jamil...!"
Kalim yanks him into a hug. His face turns, tears welling in his eyes. "Y-You came!! And you came so early...!!"
"Of course I did. I promised you I'd return home after my travels," Jamil sighs, patting his emotional friend's back. "I was planning on surprising you first, but..."
He gives the dining room and its extravagant flourishes a glance. Parrots are roosting in the banners, popping the balloons, or stealing vegetables and fruit from the flatters.
"... It looks like you've beaten me at my own game," he says tactfully.
"Yeah!" Kalim sniffs, wiping at his tears. "I... I wanted to welcome you home with a huge celebration!!"
"... Idiot. I didn't come back for any of this. Not food, not music, not pets, not decorations. There's one thing that the Scalding Sands has that no other place in Twisted Wonderland does: my best friend."
"Awww, Jamil...!" Kalim's eyes wet again. He lets out a happy sob, reburying his face in Jamil's shoulder. "It's good to have you back!!"
He sighs deeply. Despite this, Jamil still manages a smile. "It's good to be back with you, Kalim."

When you think of Eastern European Jewish cuisine, which words come to mind? Light? Healthy? Plant based? Probably not. Heavy, homey and meat-centric are more like it.
Fania Lewando died during the Holocaust, but had she been given the full length of her years, Ashkenazi Jewish cuisine may have taken a turn to the vegetarian side and we might all be eating vegetarian kishke and spinach cutlets in place of brisket.
Lewando is not a household name. In fact, she would have been lost to history had it not been for an unlikely turn of events. Thanks to a serendipitous find, her 1937 work, “The Vilna Vegetarian Cookbook” (“Vegetarish-Dietisher Kokhbukh”in Yiddish), was saved from oblivion and introduced to the 21st century.
Vilna in the 1930s, where Lewando and her husband Lazar made their home, was a cosmopolitan city with a large Jewish population. Today, it is the capital of Lithuania but it was then part of Poland. Lewando opened a vegetarian eatery called The Vegetarian Dietetic Restaurant on the edge of the city’s Jewish quarter. It was a popular spot among both Jews and non-Jews, as well as luminaries of the Yiddish-speaking world. (Even renowned artist Marc Chagall signed the restaurant’s guest book.)
Lewando was a staunch believer in the health benefits of vegetarianism and devoted her professional life to promoting these beliefs. She wrote: “It has long been established by the highest medical authorities that food made from fruit and vegetables is far healthier and more suitable for the human organism than food made from meat.” Plus, she wrote, vegetarianism satisfies the Jewish precept of not killing living creatures.
We know little about her life other than she was born Fania Fiszlewicz in the late 1880s to a Jewish family in northern Poland. She married Lazar Lewando, an egg merchant from what is today Belarus and they eventually made their way to Vilna. They did not have children.
Lewando, to quote Jeffrey Yoskowitz, author of “The Gefilte Manifesto” was “a woman who challenged convention;” a successful entrepreneur, which was a rarity among women of the time. She supervised a kosher vegetarian kitchen on an ocean liner that traveled between Poland and the United States, and gave classes on nutrition to Jewish women in her culinary school.
“The Vilna Vegetarian Cookbook” was sold in Europe and the U.S. in Lewando’s day, but most of the copies were lost or destroyed during the Second World War. In 1995, a couple found a copy of the cookbook at a second-hand book fair in England. They understood the importance of a pre-war, Yiddish-language, vegetarian cookbook written by a woman, so purchased it and sent it to the YIVO Institute’s offices in New York. There, it joined the millions of books, periodicals and photos in YIVO’s archives.
It was discovered again by two women who visited YIVO and were captivated by the book’s contents and colorful artwork. They had it translated from Yiddish to English so it could be enjoyed by a wider audience.
Like many Ashkenazi cooks, salt was Lewando’s spice, butter her flavor and dill her herb. The book is filled with dishes you’d expect: kugels and blintzes and latkes; borscht and many ways to use cabbage. There’s imitation gefilte fish and kishke made from vegetables, breadcrumbs, eggs and butter. Her cholent (a slow-cooked Sabbath stew) recipes are meat-free, including one made with prune, apple, potatoes and butter that is a cross between a stew and a tzimmes.
There are also some surprises.
Did you know it was possible to access tomatoes, eggplants, asparagus, lemons, cranberries, olive oil, Jerusalem artichokes, blueberries and candied orange peel in pre-war Vilna? There’s a French influence, too, such as recipes for mayonnaise Provencal and iles flottante, a meringue-based dessert, and a salad of marinated cornichons with marinated mushrooms.
“It’s hard to know who the target audience was for this cookbook,” said Eve Jochnowitz, its English-language translator. “We know from contemporary memoirs that people in Vilna did not have access to these amazing amounts of butter, cream and eggs,” she said. “Lewando was writing from a somewhat privileged and bourgeois position.” While many of these recipes may have been aspirational given the poverty of the Jews at the time, the cookbook demonstrates that it was possible to obtain these ingredients in Vilna, should one have the resources to do so.
While the cookbook is filled with expensive ingredients, there is also, said Jochnowitz, “a great attention to husbanding one’s resources. She was ahead of her time in the zero-waste movement.” Lewando admonishes her readers to waste nothing. Use the cooking water in which you cooked your vegetables for soup stock. Use the vegetables from the soup stock in other dishes. “Throw nothing out,” she writes in the cookbook’s opening essay. “Everything can be made into food.” Including the liquid from fresh vegetables; Lewando instructed her readers on the art of vitamin drinks and juices, with recipes for Vitamin-Rich Beet Juice and Vitamin-Rich Carrot Juice. “This was very heroic of her,” said Jochnowitz. “There were no juice machines! You make the juice by grating the vegetables and then squeezing the juice out by hand.”
Barbara Kirshenblatt-Gimblett, a Jewish scholar and Jewish cookbook collector, describes Lewando as “witty.” “She is showing us,” she said, “that once you eliminate meat and fish, you still have an enormous range of foods you can prepare.” Lewando is about “being creative, imaginative and innovative both with traditional dishes and with what she is introducing that is remote from the traditional repertoire.” She does that in unexpected ways. Her milchig (dairy) matzah balls, for example, have an elegance and lightness to them. She instructs the reader to make a meringue with egg whites, fold in the yolks, then combine with matzah meal, melted butter and hot water. Her sauerkraut salad includes porcini mushrooms. One of her kugels combines cauliflower, apples, sliced almonds and candied orange peel.
There is much that, through contemporary eyes, is missing in “The Vilna Vegetarian Cookbook.” The recipes do not give step-by-step instructions; rather you will find general directions. Heating instructions are vague, ranging from a “not-too-hot-oven” to a “warm oven” to a “hot oven.” Lewando assumes the reader’s familiarity with the kitchen that today’s cookbook writer would not.
Lewando and her husband were listed in the 1941 census of the Vilna Ghetto but not in the census of 1942. It is believed that they both died or were killed while attempting to escape. “She really was a visionary,” said Jochnowitz. “It is an unbearable tragedy that she did not live to see the future that she predicted and helped to bring about.”But in cooking her recipes, said Yoskowitz, as dated and incomplete as some of them may be, the conversation between then and now continues.

Candied Orange Peels
And homemade orange syrup!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You can make the candied peels yourself using this recipe, which is the one I loosely followed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
For the syrup: I took what was left over from making the peels, and boiled it down until most of the water had evaporated. I added an extra splash of vanilla extract and allowed the syrup to cool before I bottled it. It set up really well overnight and was very "syrupy" the next day :)
Tumblr media
Okay well what can you do with the syrup?
It's fantastic over ice cream, in teas or coffee, in simmer pots, in potions, in sweetener jars, to anoint candles, as an offering, etc.
Orange has correspondences of abundance, happiness, divination, strength, courage, health, creativity, success, attraction, and prosperity
And vanilla has correspondences of love, calmness, money/wealth, good fortune, emotional balance, improving one's mood, peace, comfort, and restoring lost energy
Of course, you can skip the vanilla extract all together if you want. And you can even substitute the oranges for lemons or grapefruits
I highly recommend labeling your bottle or jar with what's in the syrup and also the date you made it. This way you can keep track of it better, especially if you have a lot of homemade things in bottles & jars in your refrigerator
Have fun with it, be creative, and stay witchy! :D

orange applin called mandarin?
(this is very much related to a post i made about an applin in an orange)
Pokemon Variants: Mandarinn
Mandarin (also called Orange or Oranginn) is the name for an Applin that inhabits an orange instead of an apple. Despite its name, they don't always inhabit mandarin oranges.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Applin
Tumblr media
An Applin that inhabited and orange. They're found mostly in Paldea in parts of the region where oranges are grown, as well as a region South of Unova, where they're the most common.
Appletun
Tumblr media
If a mandarin Applin inhabited a sweet tasting orange was given the special sweet orange item, it will evolve into an orange appletun. This breed of Appletun was bred to taste like orange pie with a mix of candy oranges. Many beach towns in Paldea have them (as well as pineapple appletun), and they're commonly used for festivals. The sweet oranges on their back are safe to eat, and grow back within a day, however, pulling off the two (2) oranges on the top can hurt them.
Flapple
Tumblr media
If an orange applin eats a sour orange, or is given the sour orange item, it will evolve into an orange flapple. Orange Flapple use the orange peel to fly. Instead of their body resting on the orange, their lower body has fused with the orange instead. This can make flying for them a bit more difficult because of the added weight, so they're more known for gliding from branch to branch.
Dipplin
Tumblr media
My favorite one for this variant. Orange Dipplin evolve by eating a sticky orange, or their given a syrup apple. They secrete pulpy orange juice from the top of their bodies, which attracts a lot of bug types they can eat but also attracts the unwanted attention of flying types.
//my designs can be used by anyone if you credit me!

Bad Day
Tumblr media
I’ve had a shit day so I’m writing about it 🫠
——
Nothing could seem to go right today. One thing after another did not go to plan, made a mess, or overall was just shit. You never liked to bring your work life home, but sometimes you just had to let your frustration out.
After getting to work at 8am, you spilled coffee down your cream colored crew neck, not noticing it until hours later. You got scuffs on your new bag, very visible ones at that. Your head hurt, you forgot your lunch and didn’t have time to go get anything…the list goes on and on.
Getting in the car upon work ending, you checked the time to see the clock reading 6:37. An hour and 37 minutes later than you should have been working. A groan escaped your mouth as you hit your head into the headrest of your drivers seat. All you wanted to do was disappear for a few days.
Driving home consisted of stupid traffic and people who didn’t know how to drive. Many close calls when it came to safety. Your usual 15 minute drive became 30 which put you home at a time when you would much rather be already relaxing.
You pulled into the driveway, hitting the garage door sensor to send it open. The battery on your sensor was dead, imagine that. You put your car in park in the driveway, deciding to not even park it in the garage.
You grabbed all your work belongings and headed for the front door. You then realized your keys were buried in your bag, the one with new scuffs on it. Ringing the doorbell was the easiest option, hoping Joe wasn’t busy so he could open the door.
About a minute after standing there, you caved and set your belongings down, deciding to dig for your keys. No Joe in sight.
You opened the door and propped it open so you could drag all your belongings inside. Everything was dropped in the entryway. Shoes flung off, purse on the floor, keys out of sight again.
Stomach growling, you headed to the kitchen to find even the littlest thing to satisfy your longing hunger. You grabbed an orange and peeled it over the sink, letting the peels to sit there to toss later.
As you continued to munch on your orange, footsteps approached from the stairs. Here comes Joe in his good-day having mood. You were not up for any of it.
“Hi honey, how was your day?” He asked cheerfully, just happy to see his girl.
“Shit. I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse day,” you complained.
“What happened?” He asked.
“You don’t even want to know. One thing after another made my day go to shit and far from any sort of recovery,” you stated, heading for the stairs so you could go change.
Joe stayed downstairs and turned on your favorite TV show. Unfortunately, you weren’t in the mood to watch TV.
After putting on comfortable clothes, you went back to the kitchen to make dinner. A simple air fryer meal was calling your name. Mini corn dogs and french fries.
Joe was waiting for your arrival into the living room as you made your dinner. Once everything was cooking, you poured yourself a rather large and questionable amount of wine. When the food finished, you put it on a plastic plate and headed for the living room.
You plopped down onto the armchair, not sitting close to Joe like you normally did. He gave you a glance, but you were focused on your food.
“Baby, talk to me. I know it makes you feel better,” he pried as you kept eating silently.
“Joe, I really don’t wanna talk about it,” you said as you put another mini corn dog into your mouth.
“Come on babe, please?” He begged like a kid in a candy store.
“Joe I said no. I don’t want to think about it, let alone re-live it,” you said sternly as you got up to head for the kitchen. Joe got up and followed.
You put your plate into the sink and turned on the faucet to give it a pre-dishwasher rinse. Joe approached you while you were at the sink. His arms snaked around your waist and that irritated you, you wanted space to breathe after such a bad day.
“Joe get off,” you tried to push his arms off.
“No,” he replied as he buried his head into your neck.
“I said, get off,” you shoved at his arms. He pulled back with a look of astonishment on his face. You never acted like this when you had a bad day. You usually wanted to be comforted, but not today.
Joe didn’t fight back, he only walked off sadly to go back to sitting on the couch. You headed up to the bedroom quietly in hopes that you could get a little alone time.
When you made it up to your shared bedroom, you headed to take off your makeup and lay down. The warm cloth used to take off your makeup cleansed your skin of the day’s stress, and you took a deep breath.
The day finally caught up with you after you got comfortable in bed. Your bedside lamp was on while you laid on your phone trying to watch TikTok. As time passed, you felt a teardrop come out the corner of your eye. You were laying on your side which sent the warm, salty drop to splash on your pillowcase. Once one fell, a few more followed. You didn’t have one specific reason to cry, but the events of the day had kept stacking up.
You continued to watch TikTok through your clouded eyes, but then you heard Joe come into the room. You quickly wiped away your tears, not wanting him to know you were crying.
He took his shirt off and came over to the bed to lay down. You were turned and facing him, and when he saw your face, he could tell you had been crying.
After climbing in bed, he gently took your phone out of your hands and turned it off, then pulled you into his side. You let out a little sniffle as you morphed yourself into your little Joe nest. You had one specific way you would lay with Joe when you were going through anything.
His hand reached down to brush at your scalp and move your hair away from your forehead. He looked down at you with a slight frown, hating when you would cry.
“I’m sorry you’ve had a bad day baby, can I do anything to help?” He asked in a gentle voice.
“Not necessarily. Just don’t leave my side,” you let out a soft giggle followed by a sniffle.
"I won't baby, and we'll make sure tomorrow is a better day for you," he leaned down to kiss the top of your head, resting his chin there afterwards.
You fell asleep on his chest and let the shit day turn to beautiful sleep.

Mission Reports
Tumblr media
Interrogation Hut, June 25th, 1943.
The first time was always the hardest.
Just once, Marion would have liked to have the CO, or the Air Exec, or someone with a modicum of authority sit down with the new fellows before they went out on their first mission and actually tell them what would happen when they got back - that they’d get out of their plane, and pack silently into the back of a deuce and a half, and file into the Interrogation hut, and then, once they’d all sat down, someone would start asking questions and they’d start talking.
But no one ever did.
And so Marion and her girls were faced with a room full of anxious, terrified men who’d just had their first taste of combat, men who’d just seen their friends shot and their planes wrecked and who had rushed along to they knew not where and shouted at to keep quiet and then asked, in unsparing terms, to tell the good lieutenant just what had happened when they were still trying to figure it out themselves.
(The fact that the people taking notes were a team of women was a different problem, but that too would pass, with time.)
John Egan was hanging around the room like a kicked puppy, superintending the proceedings with enough of his own anxiety to start a house on fire. Marion almost wanted to ask him to leave, but that would have been too much, and too soon - these were his men, and his mission, and whatever Hughlin might have thought about his leadership, this was what leaders did. They saw things through.
Still, when the last of the men had finally given his reports, and the whole group had trooped off to barracks so that each man could shower and shave and peel himself out of his flight suit, Egan remained, pent up and pacing.
She liked the young Air Exec, if the truth were told. A little enthusiastic some days, and his singing voice certainly left a lot to be desired, but he was truthful, John Egan was - no artifice, no hidden meaning. Either he said what he meant to, or he didn’t speak at all, and it was a rare day indeed when Bucky Egan didn’t have a single thing to say. And he cared deeply about people - she’d seen him steal oranges out of the mess hall for the village children, and empty his pockets at the sweet shop so that he’d have candy to pass around. He’d even brought her flowers, once - swiped from the roadside, and presented, with very little fanfare, before a staff meeting, a little boy handing his teacher his ill-gotten gains. Hughlin had scowled at him for it, but Marion didn’t much mind, and she’d thanked Egan for them and asked the kitchen for a jam jar to display them in. He deserved some credit, even when Hughlin didn’t think much of his command potential. Everyone deserved a little beauty, even in the middle of a war - and a little patience, too.
Marion collected a spare pencil from underneath one of the chairs and took a chance on a question she already knew the answer to. “I take it you're not a man who likes being left on the bench, Major.”
Egan practically snarled. “You ever met a guy who was? I'm not doing anything down here! I ought to be up there with them, where the real work is!”
Oh, there it was. Marion took a breath and looked him square in the eye to deliver her punch – “Are you saying that what I do here isn't real work, Major?”
That pulled him up short enough - just like she’d known it would. Maybe he didn’t respect Hughlin, but he’d never had an argument with her in the two months they’d known each other, even if he was technically her superior. (The edge added by five extra years of age helped a lot.) “No, I - just…”
“There are many reasons why I'm not up in a plane right now, and the fact that I'm not a pilot, or a man, is only one of them,” Marion said, her voice as non judgemental as she could manage. “Even if I were, the best place for me is here, where I am, doing what I am doing. Because what we do here, on the ground, is valuable and necessary. It means telegrams get sent to worrying parents. It means the Red Cross knows to look for names. It means men get the medical care they need. It means the next time we send the wing up, we know where the flak is, we know that the guns work, we know that we have done everything we can to bring them home.” She continued to hold his eye, though he looked very much like he wanted to look away. “And when you say things like that, Major Egan, like real work, it denigrates all the very real work it takes to get those planes up in the air every morning.”
He looked away, down at his shoes, and sank down into a chair, trying to make his tall frame a less easy target. Insult me all you like, John. I can take it. But not the cooks, or the mechanics, or the clerks in the mail room. Because every single of them thinks they’re not doing real work, either, and they’re all wrong.
She took another breath, tried to smile. “None of this is glamorous. None of this will get you a medal. But it will bring your friends home, and that is noble and right, and good. That is what a good leader does. That is part of caring, too.” And you care so much, John Egan, that that big heart of yours is going to burst with it some day. Don’t let anyone take that truth from you. You care, and that’s a hell of a lot more than some officers I’ve seen.
“Just feels wrong, is all,” He admitted, finally, drawing his shoulders up to his ears like he was suddenly cold. “Them getting shot at while I'm down here. Was easier when it was just me getting into it, but now that it’s them…” He left the sentence to hang in the air.
Marion nodded. “I feel that every single day. I can tell you that it does not get easier. But doing the work helps.”
“Doing the work?” He sounded lost.
“You have crew in the hospital. Go visit them and see they're not forgotten. You have supply requisitions to sign. Go make sure your mechanics have the parts they need. You have a bed. You need to sleep in it.”
He snorted. “Sleep in it?”
“So you can do the work tomorrow, too,” Marion said, unflinchingly. “And the next day, and the day after that. And it will not get easier, and you will not like it more. But the work will be done, and you will have done what you can do here to help them up there.”
He rose from the chair he’d been slouching into, taking all of this in with the same quiet consideration he gave many things when people weren’t looking. “Why doesn't anyone tell you?”
Why doesn’t anyone tell you what it’s like to watch your friends go out to die? “Because they can't,” Marion admitted. “Not until you've seen it.” Then you understand it too well.
He nodded again. “Thanks, Captain Brennan.”
“Any time, Major.” She paused and added something. “You know, you're welcome in here too, you know. I'm sure the Air Executive needs an after-action report of his own, some days.”
“Sure.” He glanced at the door for a moment and turned back with a sudden thought. “Who listens to you, Captain? When you’ve gotta get something off your chest?”
Marion tried hard not to beam at him. See what I said about caring? “Don’t you worry about me,” she said with a reassuring smile. “I believe your friend Cleven went with the Doctor to the hospital wing. I think you can catch him there.” I’m sure he’s got something he’d like to say to a friend, rather than a fellow officer. That's part of your work, too.

Springs
Pairing: Bucky x Reader
Word count: ~700
Warnings: None this is fluff about being in love and it is also spring
a/n: Hi I have no idea what this is but it’s the first thing I’ve actually written in like 4 months 😅 I wasn’t going to share because it’s just a drabble and I don’t want to disappoint after being MIA for a century but here it is anyway <3
____________________________________________
The world is made up of so many springs.
There is the kind with endless colors on the side of the freeway and sunlight beaming through car windows, warming employees on their morning commute. Soft, floral breezes lost to the hustle and bustle of the midday lunch run carried in by a teenaged delivery driver. The sounds of birds drowned out by the sizzle of a coffee maker stationed behind thick, cement walls and flimsy motivational posters.
There are springs full of youth and innocence. Ladybugs during recess, counted and giggled over but left behind as bells chimed. Swimming pools almost too cold to jump in with cracks in the pavement that become soaked and left to dry in a wind that smells like orange peels and linen blankets. Grass stains, and beauty bypassed, and longer days gone unnoticed by those too young to appreciate the significance.
There are springs with holes dug deep in the ground. The kind of season that feels as if it’s mocking you and sucking out your happiness to splash it in the gardens of others. Somber music in a grass field that doesn’t look like it should—doesn’t feel how you feel. Just like spring, those feelings will pass with time, but you will never get that season back. You will have always lost someone in the spring.
And then there is the spring you fell in love. The spring you feel fingers on your scalp and smile more than you had in the winter. The sun feels different. Not warmer—more serene. It caresses you and allows you a breath you thought you could take before. You don’t see the world through rose-colored glasses, contrary to the movies and songs and books about love, but you see the world through him.
You used to be scared of bees. But bees—you figure, in this candy-coated spring—look at everyone the same. And in this new world where you see him in the backdrop of sunlight and strawberry fields, there is nothing to be scared of. If bees were something to fear, he would be the one most afraid. He is different from everyone.
That’s what happens in spring. Everything is born anew, rejuvenated.
“We used to have to squeeze our oranges ourselves,” he tells you, on the morning when the toaster broke and breakfast still persisted. “It made the kitchen smell amazing.”
And Bucky reminds you of simpler times, those innocent springs, so you make your own orange juice on Saturdays and he stands next to you pretending to read the paper. The sun through the kitchen window betrays him. You catch each glint in his eye, each catch of light in his irises as he turns to you.
It’s still cold at night in the spring. Bucky had humored you with lights on the patio, but the bite of summer has not yet left its heat to linger when the sun goes down, so the lights had to be enjoyed from inside. You sit in the same spot that allows a good view of the hummingbird feeder he put up for you. “I think you’d like to look at them up close,” he had smiled, and it was such a soft smile you felt the catch in your breath before you heard it.
At night, the birds were asleep, but the lights that lit up the flower beds were enough entertainment. Eventually, Bucky would come trekking up the walkway lined with flowers he helped you plant. Each step left a shadow of his boots, an erasable imprint that would fade as soon as his foot lifted. But then he would be inside, sitting beside you, and a visible representation of his path home wasn’t necessary.
You loved spring, but you loved him more. Springs were plentiful in life and they were so different each year. But this would be the spring you fell in love with him; the spring you decided that bees couldn’t comprehend what was good and what was bad. This would be the spring you remembered him.
