Bouquet d'Ailes necklace by Boucheron, 2012
Butterfly wings, dragonflies and peacock feathers, formed by emeralds, coloured sapphires, fine stones and diamonds.
Nine months of craftwork, over 1,250 working hours and in excess of 2,300 stones.
The piece includes mobile elements called trembleurs that are set under some of the key motifs. This process animates the wings, making them flutter with the movements of the necklace’s wearer.

Worn by Mallika Sherawat at the 'Mad Max' premiere at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival., and by Molly Sims at the ‘Okja’ premiere at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

I had to watch Ryū to Sobakasu no Hime once more to realize why Kei simply collapses despite rescuing Belle.
At first, I thought innocently that he was just running away from his feelings for her.
But, when we learned more about his true circumstances in the end....Re-watching that scenario makes my heart break even more! Because, in the U-universe, in that particular scene, we can see clearly him struggling as he suddenly curves his body at the ground in pain and we have a glimpse of the little ghost wing avatar knocked down on the ground underneath him too.
And when Belle tries to ask to Dragon about "what was happening?" But he can barely answer her in the midst of his pain because he was right there, in the real world, protecting his brother, while himself was being beaten by his own father once more.
And the fact that she witnessed each one of his father's blows, as AI technology in the U universe could recognise the blows and acknowledge them as more scars on his avatar.
Like, damn.
Seriously, the implied lack of knowledge of what was really going on, as well as the true gravity of it all, just make me want to cry and desperately hug them in this scene!
Like, Belle really saw the abuse happening in real time, but she didn't know at all what was really happening in his real life or his brother. And with the U-universe promoting this facade of mythological fantasy and virtual escapism, any real, serious trouble would be the last thing on her mind.
And the craziest thing was realising that the U app's technology was so advanced that it could assimilate each of the physical and psychological damages and also transfer them to the U avatar; However, instead of providing a safe mask to hide behind in that world, as in Kei's case, it only brought to light the scary proof of his father's abuse, carved into the skin and clothes of his U-avatar.
I mean, the AI scanner just gave him a translucent mask where his trauma was visible for all to see. Still, no one noticed it, and to make it worse instead of helping him, those who could help him just chased him all over the U universe wanting to eliminate him from the universe because he just didn't fit in that world according to these people.
That just smashed my heart in a billion pieces...

Nour Arida at the Cannes Film Festival 2021, wearing the Cape de Lumière by Claire Choisne at Boucheron.
The Cape, from the 26 Vendôme collection, is constructed from fan-shaped panels which resemble peacock feathers. Matte surfaces are paired with twisted chains. It is set with 850 round diamonds, with an 81.62ct citrine stone holding the cape together at the centre. It took more than 925 hours to create.
