This is a Stop Motion (my first time ever dont judge) that I did a few years ago using a very cheap $1 drawing figure and a flower. I thought it came out pretty good.
I made this after my breakup with my ex abusive partner. I was a little lost at the time, and my photography professor wanted us to do stop motion
there's several things off with it, the figure had trouble standing up, especially with the flower leaning on it, so you can even see in the thumbnail that my camera's lens cap is resting against the bottom of the figure to keep it stable.
sometimes the figure would fall down and when i repositioned it, that means repositioning the camera which you are not supposed to do in stop motion.
this took several days as well so the lighting changes slightly + several days of waiting for the flower to die.
all in all for a first ever stop motion project i think i got my message across which was
"The Loss of Live"
the "Live" in reference to Life and Love. so The Loss of Live. However on youtube it is titled "Interpretation" bc that was the placeholder name and I needed to upload it to share with my class so i decided to finally make it public to share with you guys. this video is deeply personal to me, even if it wasnt very good. It shows my true expression of how I felt at the time and yeah : )
330 frames btw. Certainly not the most, but a lot.
