If only, once thou shall venture onto a venue to gloriously Goddess that overcame and has always been a true Advocate to one's opinion.. this being would be beyond amazed by the strength, courageous effort and tremendously real fight that this Artist endures. Thank you, from John's strength..

hi - I'm learning more about photography and have been reading your stories about your photography journey. Do you have a beginner DSLR you could recommend? I'm looking for something with fewer frills -- like I don't need 4k video or wifi features. I just want to learn about manual camera settings. I'm used to taking pics on an iPhone where it's harder to manually control things.
I'm also curious what kind of camera you are currently using!
thanks for your help :)
So I started on a Canon Rebel 5 that I got at a garage sale and I loved that thing. When someone stole her out of my car, I bought the Rebel ti6. I was happy with her until I took her to a wedding and found out she had some... limitations when it came to ISO. My current model is a Canon Mark ii 70d and I like her very much even though shes an older model. Our work cameras are Canon EOS.
As you can tell, I like Canons. They're very similar to what it was like to work with physical film (which is the process that I learned on 20 years ago) and the controls are pretty easy to learn once you get a handle on them.
You can get a pretty good Rebel at a decent price these days- they are kind of like babys first dslr.
I say this as someone who hasnt really delved into other brands- I just know what I like. If someone in the Nikon, Sony, or Fujifilm house wants to chime in, feel free.
