The Hudson Family

Hephaestus : Coal and Mining Extraction CONTENT WARNING: DEATH OF SPOUSE (ACCIDENTAL DROWNING)

Hudson Mining Company has been a staple of Wyoming since its inception in the early 1910s. When First Hudson (77) was old enough to take over the company from his father, he made the bold switch of moving their headquarters from Wyoming to the Big Apple, knowing that to maintain the success of the company, they needed to have their base of operations where the money flowed freely and paved the streets of New York. After working as CEO for many years, he recently retired to spend his golden years with his wife and former socialite First Hudson (77) - yet he still maintains a position of power as a very vocal Board Member. In his place as CEO is his eldest daughter, First Thorne (49), yet her authority faces constant scrutiny due to her father's looming presence on the board, prompting questions about the true extent of her decision-making power. She and her husband First Thorne (49) have continued the family legacy with one daughter.

The second born, First Hudson (46) works for the family company as an Energy Economist and Analyst. His wife tragically passed away from an accidental drowning when their daughter was ten, leaving him to have to balance his career and his status as a single father for the majority of her life. At the time of her passing, the family was marked by rumors that he had something to do with her drowning - of course, these were all fabricated, but ever since then, he has become a bit more guarded towards those outside of his familial circle of trust and the media who will spin anything for a good story. One of the few he has remained close to over the years is Hamilton (43), whom he met in undergrad and both share a passion for green energy and sustainable resources for the future.

First Prescott (44) is also part of the family business, serving as the Head of Human Relations for the company while her husband First Prescott (45) runs a private equity firm, providing a stable family life for their young son. First Hudson (42) and First Hudson (40) work hand in hand, with the former working as legal counsel for Hudson Mining Company and specializing in energy law to provide information to his sister, who serves as the Head of Public Relations, tasked with navigating the delicate balance between the mining industry and environmental activism. With him working behind the scenes and providing her with the information necessary to try and win over the public, her outgoing charisma and personality has done a good job of perfecting the image of the company to the general public.

The youngest son, First Hudson (38) has also found ways to support his family’s endeavors, working as a lobbyist with New York politicians to try and secure additional funding and ensuring that laws will not impact the ability of the company to continue in the coal mining industry for many years to come. With the same levels of charisma as his sister, he and his wife First Hudson (40) have a picturesque life together in the Upper East Side.

Konig Canons Vs Headcanons

Konig Canon Facts:

König means "King" in German.

König suffered from severe social anxiety throughout his life.

Often being bullied during his childhood.

At the age of 17, he volunteered for the military.

While he hoped to join as a recon sniper, his physical size and his inability to stay still made him an unsuitable candidate. But he proved them wrong.

When using a Sniper Rifle, König will remark "And they said I could never be a sniper", a reference to his rejection from the position of recon sniper.

Hostages always find it terrifying to trust Konig because of his appearance but he always manages to take them to safety.

Close inspection of König's mask textures will reveal that it is made from a t-shirt.

Headcanons:

He was born in a poor family in a village. Single kid lived with his sick mom. Father left them to seek a better life away from the village and never came back.

He was bullied due to his height /size compared to other kids his age.

When he comes home with bruises, ripped clothes or teared up teddy bear that mom made for him -and he loves very much- he would lie and tell her it was an accident. She would fix it for him not knowing that he was being bullied.

He would beg others to play hide and seek just one time with him. He would offer to be the catcher all the time but they would still refuse to play with him.

His mom would sacrifice the her food and medicine money to let her son go on a school trip because she can see how bad he wanted to go on those. He never knew his mom lived days not eating because of that.

His mom died when he was still in middle school.

One day a lion escaped a circus and started attacking the kids in school. He managed to fight it with a stick but it caused him permanent scars to his face. Eventually he scared the lion away which gave him the title 'Konig' /king in the army after they knew about his past. His scars only drove other kids and adults further away from him.

After he joined the military his uniform was given for free but he wanted to wear a mask to hide his scares. He couldn't afford buying a mask so he just used a T-shirt with holes in it.

He enjoys going to war since it's the only game he can have teammates and enemies to play with. A game of life & death was his first hide and seek game. His excitement in the battle field is what made him good. He's always happy when he's fighting.

Very protective of his friends like Ghost , Alex and Hong-jin are his best friends and he'll rip apart anyone that think about hurting them.

When he gets a new friend it means the world to him he could cry in happiness.

If you give him a gift you bet he will treasure it for life.

THE CRISIS: US HISTORY

The Empowered Creation Event, also known as the Crisis, was an event that occurred in early 2018. Humans across the world suddenly found themselves with superpowers. This led to a global rebellion against traditional governments, using the newfound powers as a way to counter militaries and police forces.

To date, only the United States, Canada, Mexico, Cuba, Ethiopia, Germany, China, and Australia are in control of their original territories. Saudi Arabia, and Scandinavia dissolved entirely, being replaced by either a new government or warmongering states. Russia controls a fraction of it’s land, with the remainder being controlled by a Siberian warlord.

In the United States, an estimated 15% of the population are Empowered, though only 10% are registered in the Empowered Personnel System . This number was decided among think tanks, accounting for similar population densities in other countries. Of that amount, about 2% were responsible for the warlord states, operating as leadership or militia forces.

The rapid formation of the Parahuman Soldiers, founded by Artur Stonewall in New York, gave the United States the manpower it needed to retake its former territory by the beginning of the next year.

Territories

-United States

The United States government, caught off guard by the Crisis, was able to maintain control of all territory from Maryland up to Maine. Within two months of the Warlord period, the US Army began testing the Parahuman Soldiers, using government aligned Empowered (Via military, police force, or general patriotism) as a counter force to the Warlords.

-The Neo Confederacy (Colloquially the Mississippi Khans)

The first “Warlord” group to rebel, prompted by a Black senator being killed in an Empowered attack. Following this, multiple other politicians were attacked and executed by a radical group, who then took control. Their territory covered North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.

-New Vegas

Mob bosses within the Western hemisphere quickly took control, utilizing Empowered force and gambling debts to create a fighting force. The area was lauded as a safe haven for Empowered, who were welcomed indiscriminately provided they provided their services. Territory included Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Montana, and everything West of those states.

-Farmer’s Alliance (Colloquially Oz)

Due to the already sparse population density, the number of known Empowered in the region was low. Following the Crisis, many Empowered fled to The Midwest Alliance was created by a union of Unempowered farmers and hunters, citing claims against both New Vegas and the United States government. The territory included Dakota (Formerly North Dakota and South Dakota), Nebraska, Oklahoma, Kansas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota.

-The Northern Group (Colloquially, the Windies)

Local gangs were joined into one army, under the command of Antony “Windy” Lawrence. Though his power is unknown, it is believed that he had some form of mind control power. The gangs spread out, becoming the local police force in the area. Unempowered were forbidden from leaving their cities, and made to work manual labor. The territory included Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia.

-Republic of Texas

Immediately following the creation of the Midwest Alliance, the Republic of Texas claimed independence from the United States.This new nation was the last one to be reclaimed; following the fall of the Northern Group, Texas made an alliance with Mexico, becoming a vassal of the nation in exchange for protection and resources.

-Lost Territories

Due to their distance away from the Continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii were taken by foreign nations. Alaska was taken by Siberia (Formerly Russia), Hawaii by China. Their distance, along with continued unrest within the continental states, has made recapture a low priority. Representatives of the government claim plans for recapture, but have noted worries of war with neighboring countries.

Timeline

January 1, 2018-People across the globe begin developing powers. These powers vary in strength, range, and effects. Government and Media Organizations label those people as “Empowered”.

January 15, 2018- The CDC and WHO label the sudden appearance of powers as a possible pandemic. Citizens are urged to isolate themselves from people who display powers, leading to a wave of unemployment of Empowered people due to the lack of a protective class status.

January 22, 2018-Prompted by a sudden spike of crime, the US Congress passes the Limitation of Powers Act, which makes the unauthorized usage of powers a felony. Additionally, this act creates the Empowered Personnel System, a list that all Empowered are legally required to register to on the first sign of superpowers.

February 7, 2018- The President of Russia is assassinated by an Empowered. That same day, an empowered man in Tupelo, MS, inspired by this event, attacks and kills a local State Senator.

February 12, 2018- A registered hate group, known as the Mississippi Khans, take over the Mississippi State Capitol, claiming secession from the United States. Armed service members are called back to the United States. On arrival, many eventually defect or go missing.

February 13, 2018-Riots begin within the Southern United States. The National Guard is deployed to Atlanta, Birmingham, and Tupelo, but are routed by Empowered Militia operating under the Mississippi Khans. Their leader, Jeffery Palmer, officially claims Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia as territory of the Neo Confederacy. Politicians and unempowered citizens flee the region.

February 22, 2018-In an unseen assault, multiple members of the United States Armed Forces defect, attempting to take control of the available weapons and vehicles. The attack fails, and the remaining members of the coup flee throughout the country. Many leave for the Neo Confederacy.

March 15, 2018- A coalition of gangs working under Antony Lawrence launches a sudden invasion based out of Chicago, Illinois. Damage done by the Assault of the Mississippi Khans prevents the National Guard from properly mobilizing. The coalition, under the name of the Northern Group, launched a sudden invasion of neighboring states.

April 8, 2018-The Northern Group officially stops their invasion after taking Virginia. In response, important members of the federal government flee to New York, establishing it as an emergency Capitol. Martial Law is declared within the remaining territories under US control. Congress labels all of the rebelling territories as enemy nations, and declares war. That same day, Command Sergeant Major Artur Stonewall receives the green light to begin a program for training Empowered humans.

April 9, 2018- The United States Congress unanimously votes to give President Maxwell Harrington emergency powers to deal with the situation, dubbed by historians as the Crisis. He declares martial law across all US territories along with dubbing any defectors as enemy territories. The Armed Forces are restructured into the United States First National Guard.

April 15, 2018- Mafia bosses who fled to Las Vegas, Nevada, initiate a hostile takeover of the city. Utilizing their manpower, connections, and powers, New Vegas is established, claiming dominion of a large portion of the Western United States. A broadcast is sent out to the rest of the nation, offering shelter for all Empowered in exchange for their labor.

May 3, 2018- Stonewall begins training the first class of Empowered soldiers, later dubbed Parahumans, in the Empowered Training Facility in Trenton, New Jersey. The Prepared Parahuman Program utilized an Empowered person’s instinctual ability to use their powers to provide an accelerated training. Leader Lawrence calls for a fortification of the Northern Border.

May 5, 2018-Due to a lack of effective oversight in the area, the National Guard successfully secures Virginia and West Virginia from the Northern Group. The first recorded assassination attempt on President Harrington’s life was thwarted by an unknown empowered. From then, an estimated two assassins each have allegedly been caught, tried, and executed by the CIA each month.

June 3, 2018- The first graduates of the Prepared Parahumans Program are deployed to Warden, Virginia in an attempt to rout an invading Neo Confederate platoon. The battle goes in favor of the Parahumans, who manage to force the platoon out of the Virginia border. The invading force, which was composed of the Neo-Confederacy’s strongest parahumans, retreated to Tallahassee due to their massive casualties and a misfire of a teleport ability.

July 4, 2018- The second class of Parahumans are sent to New Vegas, using the territory’s Empowered friendly policy to infiltrate the enemy. At the same time, a demonstration in Atlanta led to a large fire that decimated a majority of the Neo Confederacy’s supply of rations.

July 25, 2018- Major leaders of New Vegas are assassinated during a strategy meeting. The offending parahumans are apprehended, and held hostage. The second in commands immediately declare an invasion of the Farmers’ Alliance, citing a food crisis as the motive.

August 1, 2018-Citizens of the Neo Confederacy, both Empowered and Unempowered, riot following a revelation that the Khans were hoarding food and medicine. Many of the rebelling faction’s officers, including the President, Secretary, and Head Judge, are decapitated in a public execution.

August 15, 2018-The New Vegas Militia successfully capture a major farm in the territory of the Farmers’ Alliance. Despite a lack of an official surrender, the group claims control of the territory.

August 16, 2018- Neo-Confederate Vice President Humphrey Hitchcock surrenders at the border of Virginia. He provides key information about the Neo-Confederacy’s military in exchange for immunity. His safehouse in Maine is later destroyed in a claimed freak Empowered accident.

September 22, 2018-A group of unempowered within Chicago successfully manage to capture the main headquarters of the Northern Group, where leader Antony Lawrence is captured and executed. Using weapons found in the headquarters, the group manages to force a retreat of many Empowered soldiers of the faction, who flees to the Neo Confederacy and New Vegas. The First National Guard successfully annexes the territory, where a new base of operations and Parahuman training facility is established in Lexington, Kentucky.

October 30, 2018-A team of 50 parahuman soldiers Invade Tennessee from Lexington. With a strategy of killing every citizen, the state is captured by the team in two days.

January 2, 2019- The first recorded Empowered with Nation Level powers, Coraline Daniels, uses her power FIREBALL on the still independent Texas.75% of the population, including about 10 miles of neighboring Mexico, are completely destroyed. New Vegas and the remnants of the Farmers’ Alliance officially surrender later that day.

The Second Reconstruction

Following the surrender of New Vegas, the National Guard was deployed to every major city center in the country. All active Parahumans were called back to New York for additional training. In April of 2019, all remaining police forces, along with the Prepared Parahumans Program, were merged into the National Guard.

Due to outstanding service, Director Stonewall created the Warden Elite Team, consisting of high performing Parahumans within New York and Washington DC. These teams were designed to be extremely competitive, with the worst performing member demoted to Parahuman at the beginning of each month. Additionally, the Sovereign Guardians were also created, composed of ten Parahumans with nation level powers.

President Harrington, during his 2019 State of the Union speech, requested for his emergency powers granted to him by Congress to be kept, citing foreign enemies and possible sedition from disgruntled politicians. That week, a majority vote by Congress approved his request for another year. Since then, Congress has approved the retaining of President Harrington’s emergency every year since, along with a suspension of presidential elections and term limits.

The establishment of the Seer Department, spearheaded by the Original Seer, created a system of surveillance throughout the United States. Utilizing Empowered with temporal and spatial observation powers, the Prepared Parahuman Program created buildings known as Superhuman Oversight Bureaus in major city centers, as both a way to keep an eye on criminals, and serve as bases for Parahumans and Wardens

Within the first few months of 2020, President Harrington created new classifications, vigilantes and villains. Vigilantes, by definition, were known as Empowered who attempted to take the law into their own hands. Vigilantes apprehended by the police or Parahumans, were sentenced to life imprisonment without a trial. Villains, by definition, were regular criminals who used their powers to commit crimes that were not classified as vigilantism.

Complaints and Criticisms

One of the key issues during the Crisis was the role of the Empowered Personnel System established by the Limitation of Powers Act. While the system aimed to regulate and monitor Empowered individuals for security purposes, it also led to discrimination and stigmatization against those who were Empowered. Many Empowered individuals were given a status below that of a protective class, leading to widespread unemployment and isolation.

The use of Parahuman Soldiers, trained Empowered individuals working for the government, was also a topic of contention. The establishment of the Prepared Parahumans Program provided additional manpower for the government in their fight against the Warlord factions. However, the program also raised concerns about the line between using superpowers for national defense and exploitation of Empowered individuals.

The handling of the Neo Confederacy, a Warlord faction that claimed secession from the United States and controlled multiple Southern states, was also heavily criticized. The National Guard's inability to properly mobilize against the group allowed them to capture key states such as Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama. In addition, the group's founders were allegedly associated with a hate group, and reports of food and medicine hoarding further made them unpopular among their own citizens.

The creation of the Vigilante and Villain classes are attributed to the rise of violent crimes. Experts claimed that while the change did help to hasten the justice process, innocent people had been imprisoned and killed unfairly, leading to those caught taking more radical actions against the government. This issue also went along with the creation of the Seers, where the lack of supposed privacy had a direct correlation with crime.

Galbatorix headcanons (and canons) because in all the saga we see him just as a distant and mysterious figure but he's (technically) a human too

He's extremely chilly. Maybe it was his time in the frozen wastes of the spine or maybe something else, but he hates the cold. It is no coincidence that he hid for over seven years in an arid desert; Also, do you think he's constantly wearing a heavy dragonskin winter cloak by chance?

Disgusted by physical contact. It's quite well known that he have no qualms about invading other people's personal space and casually touching them, but if someone even just brushes against him he's disgusted about it. If someone comes into contact with his skin, he can't help but rub it as if he had touched something viscid. One might think that's because he doesn't deem others worthy of anything like touching him, but he's always been that way.

He zones out frequently. He can be the most attentive and acute of observers, but sometimes gets lost in his own thoughts for long periods and it's difficult to get his attention again. Once Morzan stared in his eyes for like 30 minutes and the guy just didn't notice.

He's... pretty rude. Unless he's trying to manipulate you, he's pretty blunt and brutally honest. Mostly because he just... can. He is the king and no one would dare to doubt his education. He behaves like this especially with the nobles; he doesn't like them at all and likes to make them uncomfortable with a little of rudeness.

People = Psychological experiments. It is known that he constantly manipulates people for his own ends, however, he also does it... for fun. He likes to subject people he deems of little importance to different situations and pressures to see how they react; they are like guinea pigs to him. They are quite fascinating and above all interesting; moreover, understanding how they react advises him on how best to behave in order to manipulate someone in the future. For a while he had also tried with Durza but he was too apathetic so he left him alone.

His favourite color... Isn't black? He wears all black, has a black dragon, a black castle, and a black throne. But yeah, black is not his favorite color. Instead, it is royal purple, color of his original dragon. But at the same time, he can't even see it, because it reminds him too much of her and he doesn't want anything to do with her anymore. Black is kind of like an escape from those painful thoughts, something that makes him more of a new self and represent the darkness of his mind. The fact that Shruikan is black also helps him feel more connected to him instead of Jarnünvosk.

The Harrington Family

Demeter : Agriculture and Grain Industry

The Harrington family are an eminent force in the agriculture and grain industry that made their riches beginning as a humble grain storage business in Iowa before expanding across the Midwest and eventually launching into a full scale, complex international organization and successful competitor in global markets. First Harrington (78) has stepped down as CEO for the company as of two years ago, enjoying retirement with her husband and former socialite who graced the upper echelons of high society, First Fontana (77).

The Harrington Company is now run by the eldest son, First Harrington (51) as CEO, alongside his wife and documentary filmmaker First Harrington (50), with two children of their own. First Harrington (46) remains unmarried but actively contributes to the family legacy as a dedicated member of the Board of Directors. Taking after her father, First Nolan (44) has graced New York City’s high society as a socialite alongside her husband First Nolan (45), with two identical twin daughters to help with the family’s prestigious, perfect image.

The youngest daughter, First Harrington (39) has tried to keep herself away from the family politics and paved her own way as the Managing Editor of the New York Times, but has found herself on the front pages of her own newspaper due to the highly publicized (and some would also say quite sudden) engagement to renowned architect First Montgomery (48). At the end of the Harrington dynasty are the two youngest boys, First Harrington (36) and their adopted son, First Harrington (34) - both of whom have escaped the clutches and demands that their elder siblings face, allowing them to pave their own paths and discover what they want to do in the world.

Some may say that it is the privilege of being the youngest, but others would argue it’s because they didn’t receive as much attention and focus growing up as their siblings may have. Regardless, the Harrington family has made a lasting impression on the court of high society and seems to only be continuing the trend with the potential merger between the Harrington and Montgomery families looming on the horizon.

So one time Mikey wanted a midnight snack and was just standing in the dark wondering what to do looking mad creepy

And Leo walks in and just sees these two glowing green irises with black slits but Mikey is mad tired so he doesent see Leo and Mikey is just looking around

So Leo grabs a frying pan and smacks Mikey with it 💀

And then when Mikey said ow Leo turned the lights on and then back off and his face was like:😮(dont tell dad) like bro was so guilty

What are some relationship (not just romantic, but any type of relationship) headcanons you have for the chain (plus people like Malon, the Zeldas, etc)?

So I'm generally not good at picking up subtle parts of platonic relationships for the Chain because Jojo is really good at subtle writing. I have autism. Enough said. Anyway, I'll just focus on romantic relationships for the Chain and kinda expand on the Zeldas because I feel some are headcanons that very few people have for the Links and Zels. (A lot of my ideas for the Zeldas come from my Hylia's Heroines AU where all the Zeldas meet)

I'm not usually the type to come up with romance related headcanons, but I adore the canon ones between Time and Malon, and Sky and Sun. There's something so tooth-rottingly sweet between each of their relationships, even if we only see Sky's through his perspective. Another one I like the idea of is Hyrule and Aurora, who's the Zelda from Link's Adventure. The idea I have for her is a kind of energetic girl with traits like of Legend. Very sarcastic and good with humour, quite sassy. I love her. Their love almost comes off as puppy love, it's very sweet and affectionate.

Not talking about Aurora and Hyrule, the different Zeldas are obviously my interpretations because we haven't seen a single Zelda in the actual comic (bar Flora in a flashback for a single panel). I'll split it into sections coz it's easier to read that way.

Basically co-workers;

Time and Lullaby, Twi and Dusk, and Wars and Athena(/Artemis) fall under this category, but in different ways. While Twi and Dusk spent very little time together and thus don't know each other on too friendly of a level, Time and Lullaby basically worked to saved Hyrule together, though by differing means based on the timeline. I imagine Time became a little connected to Lullaby in the Adult Timeline, which carried over to the Child Timeline and they became friendly as kids after Time reported Ganondorf as a traitor. After he left for Majora's Mask and returned to Hyrule, I think the two would have reconnected. They're riding the line between co-workers and basically siblings lol.

Warriors and Athena fought a war together, they bond based on trauma but due to the fact that their relationship was solely formed during the war and is between a soldier and a princess, they keep it professional. It's likely to furthest Wars got was possibly becoming a battle advisor/planner.

Siblings

Legend and Fable being siblings is one of my favourite relationship headcanons the fanon has. I have no idea where it came from but its very interesting, one of my current favourite LU fics follows this idea. In my eyes, they're very distant since Legend grew up outside of the castle. They're still civil but it's almost like Legend isn't a prince at all.

Another one is Dawn (Zelda 1) and Hyrule, though they're similarly a little bit distant towards each other, though they aren't actually siblings. Dawn takes a lot more after Fable than Aurora and there's a whole succession crisis thats happening now that there's a second princess in the mix. There's a lot of resentment and petty arguing, which includes playing homeworker and messing with each others love lives. Hyrule's aware of it but doesn't really know the extent because of his complete lack of knowledge about court politics. He stays away from Dawn mostly out of respect to Aurora but is civil when needing to interact with Dawn.

Tetra and Wind too! I see Tetra as an adult and grew up thinking that so I place them squarely in the sibling section. They're very close actually, they feel a bit like best friends lol.

Friendly (but in differing ways)

Four and Dot come to mind - I see them as second cousins because of their connections to Sky and Sun. They grew up together so their childhood besties basically, but it's like remixed because they're cousins so it makes it closer I guess? It's a bit chaotic post-Four Swords, but they manage lol.

Wild and Flora are here too, they reconnected after BotW and hang around each other. It's prob really hard to get a monarchy going again after Hyrule's governed by independant states so she likely just wanders around with him and does scscieny things. Technically Tetra and Wind fit in here too, on Legend and Fable on a good day. Oh, and Time and Lullaby. Yeah some ride the lines between categories and get honorary placements lol.

Honourable Mentions!

For the other love interests! Twilight has Midna and Ilia. It's a bit complicated for him, I think hes got a forbidden love kinda thing going on with Midna, but does eventually get with Ilia coz it's considered the right decision for him. There will always be that longing for Midna though.

Wild and Mipha are complex too, Mipha obviously loved the person who Wild used to be, but it's up in the air whether it was reciprocated due to things such as his position and his role and expectation etc. I personally think its an alliance thing - Rhoam's relations with the Zora is getting rocky, and there isn't a Zora Prince for his previous Zelda to marry, but there is a princess who seems to fawn over Zelda's bodyguard. Wild likely doesn't hold any such feelings for her in BotW due to the detattchment between him and his previous self, but still feels and understands what happened as most people remember their memories through the emotions they felt in the moment.

Legend and Ravio definitely have something going on, whether it be a once begrudging friendship turned close or a bromanceof some kind, no one really knows and they certainly don't either. All they know is that since they're living together in close proximity anyway, might a well just chill out within arms reach of each other.

And any relationship that came about amongst Skyloft's Knight Academy is solely Sky's doing. He's playing matchmaker and sussing out who's in who's mind. I imagine the thing with Patrice was genuine and they did like each other for a small amount of time before Sky discovered he loved Sun, but Patrice knew it wouldn't work out because he's searching for Sun and could almost sense the longing he had for his best friend. It didn't really matter if it was platonic or romantic longing, but Patrice knew it wouldn't work out so she split it off. It was nice for a while.

And my girl Linkle! She's is wholly underrepresented in this fandom which is a complete injustice. I imagine that she is Wars' older sister that donned her green clothes to protect both her country, her farm, and what was left of her family. I have a whole rewrite for Hyrule Warriors in a Google Doc that makes Linkle a part of the main story, wherein she creates a friendship with Lana and Midna, and I feel that for some reason I may have made Linkle and Midna connect a little too much for it to not come off as romantic. Who knows, maybe Midna just has a thing for farm-living heroes in green?
