You make a good point about Swinging London and John trying to articulate his feelings of abandonment, the song is a great metaphor for that. It’s a pity that John refused to articulate this outside of music because Paul didn’t understand what he was going through, though I believe that Paul definitely understood that John was suffering. (He was just ill-equipped to deal with it.)

I actually think you’re underestimating them a little bit though. It wouldn’t just be a simple “I love you,” from Paul, it would be a change in lifestyle and committing as a real couple with everything that entailed. It would mean John leaving Cynthia but let’s be real, he would jump at that lmao.

John would need to deal with his baggage but I actually think he was capable of facing it and that if he had had Paul as his explicitly committed romantic partner, he would have felt safe enough to do so. But that’s just my opinion I guess, since we don’t live in that universe we can make up anything we want.

Modern therapy would have helped both of them for sure but that didn’t exist back then so whoops... But my true and honest opinion is that if John had had a lithium prescription to stabilize his moods then he could have put the rest of the puzzle together himself. He was a sensitive guy that wanted to grow and change.

The Ashers are their own entire separate thing. I find them incredibly skeevy and even exploitive with how they used their daughter Jane to get access to Paul McCartney. He orchestrated the move into Jane’s house by deliberately staging conversations where he complained about the Mayfair flats Brian put them in:

And they were reeaaally happy to have their daughter’s boyfriend move in with them even though they were definitely engaged in sexual activities. That is not a normal thing for parents to do but they did it.

Jane’s father was an accomplished and forward thinking medical practitioner. Her mother was a successful music teacher. But they invited their 17 year old daughter’s boyfriend into their house to live with them knowing that he was an up and coming entertainment star at his sexual peak... like I get the UK’s age of consent is 16 years old and everything but inviting Paul to live in their house of their own accord while knowing all this, that’s just really gross to me. I don’t think the Ashers did anything good for Paul McCartney in terms of his personal development and their family helped stunt his development as an adult.

Sorry for going off but I do not like the Ashers and they made terrible decisions when they should have known better. I wouldn’t trust any recommendations they made for medical practitioners for John or Paul lmao because they would be motivated by chasing clout!

'oh Punchlines fear is just stupid internet hate!' NO!

Her fear is losing control! This concept of control can be seen in SO many of her solo runs!

(Spoilers for The Trial of Alexis Kaye, Punchline: The Gotham Game, and Knight Terrors: Punchline)

In The Trial of Alexis Kaye: She literally sets up control of Blackgate. She disposes of Kelly Ness and Orca; The explanation for her disposal of Orca is that Orca helps Kelly get away, Punchline is unable to control Orca; Kelly gets disposed of, again, because she can't be controlled. Both are able to (or have) betrayed Alexis, she lost control of them so they both had to go. She controls the narrative of herself on the internet as well, and weaponizes it to gain even more, giving her masses of young people that she can throw around and control for her own personal gain.

In Punchline: The Gotham Game: Again she sets up control of the Royal Flush Gang and control of the current drug trends in Gotham. One of the main goals Punchline has is taking control of an Ace Processing Centre. She says that she wants Jokers clout and shes trying to take it for herself; Joker (unfortunately) has a layer of control over Gotham, hes literally the Joker, people fear him and he uses it to control. She passively threatens Bluff with a knife when she finds out he hasn't told her where Cullen lives, Punchline threatens Bluff because she currently doesn't have control over him. She uses her control of the current drug trends to have hoards of people under control willing to do what she wants them to; One of these people literally says "I don't want to do this! But I have to!" she literally has control of these people. She gets upset at The Queen and King of Hearts, who she sees a betrayers, because she sees that she doesn't have complete control of them. They literally kill Bluff, because hes a bitch because he can't be controlled by Alexis.

Finally in Knight Terrors: Punchline: Punchline uses an analogy of wearing noise isolation/noise cancelling headphones; the way I connect this is: (using the analogy) you wear the headphones everything is muffled but its in your control, you are wearing the headphones. When you take them off and realize that its quiet you realize that what is around you is not muffled, its not in your control. The headphones are a method of control. Also, throughout Knight Terrors Punchline repeatedly says that what is happening cant be real, she tries to control her dream. Now the 'internet hate' which is shown is internet hate, but it means something more. Remember when I said Punchline controlled the media and internet in The Trial of Alexis Kaye? These hate comments are literal examples and a manifest of Alexis's fear of losing control, in this case losing her control of the internet and the control of her 'fans'. This fear is also seen when she shuts up gets muted, she loses control and the "infinite-scrolling comments" gain control. Getting stuck just endlessly on the internet is a common lack of control, when you get stuck you are not the one doing the sticking, the internet is the one who has control at that point. This fear is also shown when Punchline talks about how when she wakes up she doesn't let her dreams or nightmares control her, she shakes them off, she needs this control.

So its not just a fear of 'internet hate,' its losing her grip on what has given her power, what has given her the opportunities that she has made for herself; its Punchline losing her control.

Give a summary about the YouTube drama 👀...your girl is nosy

omg its A Lot but from what i’ve gathered here is a summary: so basically jeffree star, mannymua, laura lee, nikita dragun and gabriel zamora all used to be like bff’s but then all of them fell out with jeffree although nobody really knows why they originally fell out theres a load of speculation that basically they were all just using jeffree for clout and his money bc there’s tea that jeffree invested a load of £££ into their brands. they all stopped publicly being friends with him and the four of them became a foursome without jeffree. sooo then a few weeks ago shane dawson does that documentary series about jeffree and pretty much gets jeffree back in the publics good books and cleans up his messy image, cos jeffree has always been controversial and said and done awful things and been racist but shane paints him in a good light and millions of people are talking about it and basically forgiving him which i guess made the foursome really bitter. so gabriel tweets a picture of the four of them w their middle fingers up and captions it something like ‘we’re doing better without him’ or something along those lines and manny likes it on twitter and then promptly unlikes it saying it was an accident and he didnt read the caption or know that gabriel was going to tweet that, the pic was just them recreating a kylie jenner pic he doesnt know why gabriel added that caption (rmr this for later) meanwhile all of jeffree’s stans start coming for gabriel and calling him a bully etc and he responds by tweeting something like ‘imagine stanning a racist i could never’ which then prompts jeffrees stans to go digging through the foursomes twitters to find receipts to expose them and.......they do. they find tweets from gabriel using the n word, all sorts of racist and fatshaming shit from laura, and some gross pedophile jokes from nikita, nothing really on manny though. and then twitter is imploding and jeffree is posting all these tweets about karma and hypocrites and whatever and its just all crazy. laura then takes down her entire twitter only to restore it again but this time with like 30 thousands tweets deleted which is sus as hell bc now nobody can verify what tweets are real and what arent and what else might have been hidden in her old tweets. next day laura just posts another makeup vid with no explanation acting like nothing happened and every single comment is like WHERES THE APOLOGY?? so she responds saying its coming but she needs time to think about what she wants to say. fast forward a few days. she uploads the worst apology video i have seen in my entire life. 4 mins of her hysterically fake crying and hyperventilating and says shes from alabama so she didnt know what racism was and she was only 24 so she was young and didnt know better. lmao. she’s lost about 400k subs atm and morphe have dropped her. so THEN gabriel posts a 45 min video explaining everything, saying that he’s sorry he tweeted the n word, sorry he was shady to jeffree but that he was continuously told by the rest of the foursome that jeffree was a terrible person and he believed them and they all talk shit behind jeffrees back. he said theres no way manny liking the tweet was an accident bc he’s always talking shit about jeffree and being shady so he knew what he was doing. he said he shouldnt have tweeted the pic but manny is lying about liking it being an accident and only cares about his public image and is a terrible friend. so then MANNY posts a response to gabriels video which is 30 mins of him saying that he knows he’s a bad friend, that he cant handle conflict well, that LA has changed him and that even his parents have told him he’s changed, he’s sorry to jeffree and to gabriel but also he’s still mad that gabriel tweeted that pic and got them all into this shitstorm in the first place. & i know this is ?? like a month late?? idk but !! someone way back when asked me about my hevie/descendants hcs/thoughts so i’ve decided to make a lil list that i’ll most likely add on to as time goes by and i get more info

first of all, i like to completely disregard the sugar coating that disney put on the entire series. for example, their lives on isle would’ve been grittier and much more cruel than what was depicted in the movies ( and somewhat the books ). i personally see all of their parents as emotionally and mentally Abusive ( bc they definitely are?? and melissa’s account of it def made more sense than .. disney’s igvfdn ).

also i like to imagine them? older? because i just cant personally relate to teens anymore so i see them as like 19 in my mind when im reading fics and the like ( especially since the ones ive read have hevie as sexually active ).

i really and truly dislike mal based both on her actions in the first novel and how she behaved in the films ( a lot of people haven’t read the books, but to sum it up, she spent 3/4 of the first novel tormenting evie first in a petty way and then in two (2) seperate life-threatening ways ). this has left me feeling completely cold towards mal and unable to sympathize with her in her tantrum in d2.

deep ass conversations under the stars about what they’d be doing if they were free to go wherever they want .. him talking about sailing the seas as a captain of his own ship and making a name for himself and she realizes as time passes that princes? dont seem very important to her anymore ?? and the more he talks about how wide and vast the ocean is the more appealing it become for her and she begins wishing he’d take her with him sighs

evie  mentally considering taking harry off the list initially but then remembers that its his only gd chance to get away from the damn isle and out on the sea like he always dreamed & knowing she cant take that chance away from him just cos shes scared to see him again

that got away from me and felt more like fanfic plotting ... but uhh harry being the one who taught her to swordfight cos lbr who else couldve ? jay didnt carry one around until auradon and as far as i know evie didn’t have any sort of fencing lessons ( especially since it was a big deal for lonnie to have been on the team ). so !!

he also taught her a handful of other self-defense maneuvers beyond running and potions that never worked correctly on the isle cos uhh its a shady ass place and hes Worried about her

also he 10/10 calls her princess anyone who disagrees is free to do so but theyre wrong

she repairs his coat All The Time cos boy is always in need of patching up smh BUT she sewed her lil heart with a crown on the inside of his coat right next to where it lays over his heart cos uhh she loves him pce

him bringing her pretty seashells and trinkets he got from the salvage ships .. things like faded gold earrings and necklaces when one time he shows up with this tiny little shard of blue seaglass thats worn into the shape of a heart and she immediately makes it a charm for a bracelet & treasure it above all the other things she has lol !

them being 200% supportive of each other in general and loving one another despite the odds against them??? harry literally willing to risk everything for her ?? her honestly getting tired of hiding him and pretending she doesnt like him and one day just blurting it out to mal and bein like “if you dont like it then that’s just too bad for you” and walking out head held high but deep down freaking the FUCK out bihfnjde and harry being So Proud of her and willing to legitimately fight mal if she gives her shit over it bgvihfnj wow i just .. i just love them so much ..

girl you write novels just like me, I respect that. now, I just wanted to say that I do NOT believe he doesn't deserve to be blamed on things that have happened within his company. I will agree he needs to fix things when it comes to better management, better PR and honestly I think he needs to kick his brother out of the CEO chair and take back the title cause his brother is another reason for things being shitty at times. 

i want to address his comments he makes sometimes. The man is brutally honest and I agree he needs GD or CL to take their perfectly manicured and moisturized hands and get a good ole slap. he needs to think before he speaks and I think a major issue for this is that he doesn't go on the media enough to learn how to control his words. Yes he does Kpop Star and survival shows but those are shows where he is use dto saying such bold and harsh criticism. if he actually put himself on other shows like JYP does then maybe he will get the practice. but still he can also learn to fucking choose his words in a way he gets his message across but also doesnt set fire to a wound. hes an idiot for this i agree.

When it comes to Park Bom I am 100% in agreement girl, I am. she deserved better treatment and this long ass “self reflection” needs to stop. It shouldnt have started to begin with and I do hold a lot of blame on YHS for that. He should have made sure things went more smoothly and the recovery was handled better. However, I cant sit here and call him a horrible person because of it because We do not know the full story as too what happened behind YG doors other than what we see in the media speculations-- the media that started the whole damn thing. there could be things we are not aware of so I cant just assume when there are blank spaces. you know? Park Bom has come out herself with a Diray entry and twitter replies saying he is a good guy and takes care of her. So, what else can we do but believe her when she says it? i dont know but I do agree he should have handled it better.

With Minzy I have mixed feelings about her that are my OWN opinions. I respect everyone else opinions too. I just believe that if she stayed then YGE would have been able to continue with a 2NE1 comeback instead of getting discouraged and just giving up on them. They deserved better then that. 

When I mean individual dreams I mean, that Minzy wanted a solo debut, YG wasnt focused on that request at the time so she left. Her Dream for a solo to happen ASAP was not in sight for her at YGE at the moment. I do agree that this should have been delt with better and management should have planned better and worked things out to fulfill this dream because she deserved it. However, It was her choice to go and thats something we have to respect and YG did so by letting her make that choice. I do think they should have rearranged priorities better and started working on giving her the solo she clearly deserved but it didnt happen. and thats a all in all Company’s  fault not one man’s.

Now when it comes to CL and her American Solo activities-- you need to separate YG from it a bit because its not YGE that is handling it on the majority. CL has signed with School Boy Records which is an American record label established in 2007 by Scooter Braun through his School Boy Entertainment company that is also in parent with Universal Music Group. They have signed artists such as PSY, for his american promotions, Justin Beiber, the black eyed peas, and more. They are handling her American promotions and her Solo career there. YG is just getting benefits and also paying them to do so. So because of that, you cant just blame YG for her solo delay. You just cant. if there was anything you could blame YGE for in regardless to this is maybe they need to kick Scooter’s  ass and tell him to hurry up.

Also, yes I am aware that Yang Hyun Suk is the biggest share holder of YG, i mean he is the creator and owner after all. but besides him Naver has majority as well. and has a lot of power and influence in the company. You gotta make your investors happy you know? or they can pull their findings. YHS does have power, I agree, he does have  influence, but he still has to take ideas and orders from his investors and all. and if it comes down to it that they want this thing or they walk then YG has to fold unless he wants to lose billions of dollars in funds.

Yes he is a higher up as well, but hes ONE person and just because hes the founder and owner doesn't mean hes the controller on every detail. there is a Board of directors whether people want to believe it or not and there are votes being held. its how a company runs.

Now I am not appreciating how you think im supporting hate on Park Bom and that I would just go to her and say  “Shit happened, its life.” you take a phrase I used in my post and just create a while thing around it because you are upset with my feelings on the matter. I wouldn’t NEVER do such a thing to her when I agree she CLEARLY deserved better treatment.

Also, im just gonna add that most statement links that get thrown at me are a PR team responding on queue. and then you have the link where YG gives his own thoughts. did you even READ the words? you completely missed his meaning. just like you are completely missing mine because you are a dedicated blackjack ( just like I am. I mean I worship them and support them like crazy and cried for weeks after they disbanded-- but anyway-- ) who is quickly upset when you see a sentence or phrase that sounds horrible against them.

Depression hit for her and she needed a break-- a break that is going too long I agree-- and he reassured her that 2NE1 is important but he wants her to not push herself and do some self care. She was probably constantly crying because of all the hate she was getting and wasnt stable enough to work in the studio. I mean dont you feel like its impossible to do anything after an anxiety attack or something? He was concerned for her and im glad he gave her rest. BUT NOW ITS TIME FOR HER NOT TO HAVE IT. ant to be honest. I believe he had started to end her break. MAMA 2016 happened, the return of Park Bom for a short while. I believe that Performance was a statement to show that she is here and she is ready to PLAY......but then shit hit the fan with Minzy leaving, CL’s american promotions, BP;s Debut and other things and in the end a unanimous decision was made.

This quote gives me hope that YGE will look to them once again once the time is right and if you cant believe that then thats fine. its your choice, but I will continue to have hope.

YES I agree. we will never know  the full truth because YGE does not give detailed straight answers, and that might be a reason for it that could be completely understanding, whether its that they just dont want to let the issues carry on or that they are trying to deal with it peacefully without the media knetz gluing themselves to the front door..

but because of this fact we shouldn't be QUICK TO JUDGE and get upset. we are only seeing glimpse of things and we are getting frustrated. we need to breathe, step back and try to understand instead of immediately attacking cause we assume or feel some type of way. 

I was angry when I heard the news of 2ne1, but I didnt start attacking. I did research and I listened to all opinions and monitored Bom and Dara and CL just like all other Black Jacks did. and this is how I got to my conclusion.
