We know pre-serum Steve got into a lot of fights and Bucky always pulled him out, but imagine: Steve was never very strong but he had enough muscle that as kids, he could wrap his legs around Bucky’s waist from behind and attach himself to Bucky’s back and they could swing fists and fight like some sort of four-armed monstrosity.
This ‘tactic’ worked alright in the war when they switched places and fought close combat. Steve could reach up and cover both his head and Bucky’s with the shield when needed and Bucky got a higher vantage point to shoot from.
Now after Hydra and post-recovery, the tactic comes back. During a fight, Bucky turns and runs full out at Steve’s back, and Steve is still keeping a mental record of where Bucky is at all times so he just braces for impact. Bucky easily clambers up to wrap his legs high around Steve’s waist, pulls a knife and a gun and then they’re back fighting. Steve gets surrounded and spins in place and enemies get either a shield or metal fist to the face.
Bucky can’t carry Steve as long as Steve can carry Bucky, but when it is Bucky doing the carrying, he’s still able to move quickly and efficiently and the pair of them are a nightmare because what are you supposed to do when Captain America is coming at you with the Winter Soldier on his back or vice versa???

Finally got a replacement 3D for printer for Christmas. Which was must needed as my other one was broken beyond repair for about a year and a half. So the captain America shield I’ve been working on has gone unfinished. However now that I have my new printer I can finally do 3D printing projects again. Starting with finishing the last piece of the front of my Captain America Shield. I will do the back of the shield as well just might do some other cool projects in between that take less time as the back pieces will take soo much more time to print.
